The Google Home is the next generation smart assistant, designed to be used in a smart home. I was very impressed with the voice recognition technology as it was able to tell exactly what I wanted or was asking for almost all the time. It gets activated easily and puts the vast amounts of Google knowledge at your fingertips.
It is slim, small and definitely looks beautiful. With the easily swappable base, you can fit it in any area of the house. It plays you music, tells you the weather and can give a reply to almost anything you ask for. The speakers are powerful and give a rich deep sound. It can also connect with a range of smart devices like smart bulbs etc which then enables to use the device in a variety of other ways as well.
The biggest flaw of the speaker is that you cannot use it to be used with your laptop or TV. It cannot be used like a normal bluetooth speaker and that is extremely frustrating. Amzon echo even though it costs more can be used as a normal bluetooth speaker and thats a big plus. I dont understand why Google hasnt built in that functionality, it seems like a big flaw in the product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Linksys - WRT AC3200 is a really good router for a large home. I live in a two story apartment and I installed the router in the living room below. I was able to get full coverage without any drop in signals in the entire house. This is very important for me as I play games like DOTA 2 and fast and reliable internet is very important for me. I have been using the device for a couple of days without any problems or hindrance. Also the device is light and easy to mount on a wall and looks great. It gets the job done and is also relatively cheap as compared to similar products from Netgear

The Rand McNally – OverDryve is a next generation GPS unit which is basically a highly customized version of an Android tablet. In addition to providing traditional navigation like any GPS, it comes with a series of features. Personally I like the voice – controlled voice assistant as the best feature as when you are driving around it easy just to give voice commands and not take your hands off the wheel. I can do hands free calling and messaging and also change music via Bluetooth. It comes with a nice mounting device and it’s very easy to install as well. Overall a nice product and good value for money.

This review is for the 32GB version of Google Pixel in slate gray. The Pixel is Google first take to provide an end to end phone by designing both the hardware and the software and it doesn’t disappoint you one bit! The phone has a very nice feel to it with the curved and rounded edges and there are no camera bumps so the body is completely smooth and feels very premium.
The screen size of 5” is in my opinion the perfect size for a phone and I would prefer this phone over it bigger brother XL having a 5.5” inch screen size. The AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with corning gorilla glass 4 protection has a resolution of 1080 x 1920 and in bright sunlight, it is a bit difficult to look at the screen. Otherwise it works great indoors and colors are very deep and rich. Also the smaller screen size means it can retain more battery. Even though I was a bit disappointed by 2770mah battery, the software does really help in battery efficiency. I was just able to last the entire day with moderate usage.
The fingerprint reader at the back also is more convenient then the readers at the front and has the added functionality of using it as a way to look at the notification drawer.
The phone has a lot of power with the latest quadcore Snapdradragon 821 processor clocking at 2.15GHz and 4 GB of ram. I didn’t face any snags in using the phone and I tried all the major apps like Google Maps, Facebook, Whatsapp and Skype. Even when all these apps were running simultaneously I didn’t face any problems and the phone was able to switch between the apps seamlessly.
Another important point is that the phone comes sim unlocked from the factory. You can buy it from Verizon but you can use it any carrier on it. I used it with T-mobile and it worked completely fine.
The phone has a 12.3 MP camera with f/2.0 aperture and the camera has been given the highest score by DxoMark ( the industry standard in comparing lenses and cameras). I found that it was the camera app which really is the difference. The app opens up really fast and there are tons of options like lens blur etc. In my testing the camera was able to take really good photos even in low light.
The phone comes with Android Nougat 7.1 out of the box and introduces us to the Google assistant. The Google assistant provides the vast Google database searchable at your fingertips. You can interact with it and it’s a back and forth conversation. I haven’t come across smarter AI yet. The voice recognition is really good and the phone almost always knew what I was saying.

Another very useful feature is that the phone comes with a dongle which you attach to your existing phone and lets you transfer everything very quickly and smoothly. I was able to transfer everything from my one plus one less than a minute and was able to setup the pixel phone completely in 5 min.

The only drawback to the phone is its price. The one plus 3 does look like a very very good alternative at only $400 and essentially the same hardware but you will not get the ‘pure’ android experience. However if price is an issue then OP3 is definitely an option. However with VR ready hardware, this phone is definitely the phone for the future (2017) and OP3 is the phone for the present (2016).

With the best in class camera as measured by DxoMark ( the industry standard in comparing lenses and cameras) and the fastest and best android, there is nothing wrong in the phone. The google assistant is basically SIRI on drugs :) as it goes much further than any AI system that I have seen or used in the past. The touch screen to me just means the the screen responds in a smooth fashion. The touchscreen on the Pixel is sweet, very fast and responsive. The display is vivid with nice details.
Another very useful feature is that the phone comes with a dongle which you attach to your existing phone and lets you transfer everything very quickly and smoothly. Basically the new phone becomes easy to set up in less than 5 min.
The only drawback to the phone is its price. The Net Gear Orbi is a first of its kind WiFi router for home use. Not only it provides blazing fast speeds but also provides those speeds reliably throughout the home. I live in a two story house and I had no trouble or signal issue anywhere in the house. The speeds are consistent and reliable. I play DOTA 2 a lot and was playing it over the wifi and had no issues, and my ping was constantly less than 25ms. Its super easy to setup and there are no glitches or long procedure to set it up. Also the router is extremely beautiful and you don’t have to hide it anywhere. It doesn’t have ugly antennas coming out of it and can be placed anywhere in the house. The set we received has one 'master' router and one 'satellite' unit. There's not much else in the box other than the power adapters, a flat Ethernet wire and a very brief 'Quick Start Guide' pamphlet. There are light rings at the top of both the devices which tell you optimal parings and the quick start guide tells you what color of light they should be. Overall a very solid product and I definitely would recommend it to everyone, for casual home users to hardcore gamers.

I have been using the the Linksys wifi wall plug range extender(RE7000) for over 2 weeks now and havent faced any problems. I live in a multi story home and I play online games (primarily dota 2 ) a lot. I havent had any problems since I started using the product. The plug is installed in the living room upstairs and I play in my bedroom and I havent faced any trouble or dropped signals. Really good product and I will definitely recommend it to others.

there are conflicting answers as to whether the verizon model will be locked or not. purchase would be at full retail obviously
The phone comes locked or unlocked depending on your definition of what is a locked phone. The phone is sim unlocked meaning that you can use any carrier sim in it even if you get the Verizon version. The phone is bootloader locked meaning that you cannot get sudo access to the phone unless you completely remove all the software from it and install new android from scratch on it. However bootloader locked doesnt really will have any effect on day to day usage, you can use any sim.
