I'm a longstanding fan of country music...........I said COUNTRY music, not today's overproduced pop with some hayseeds and synthed fiddle thrown on for good measure stuff, I mean the real deal. We're talkin' Willie, Waylon, Merle, George, and of course, HANK! Friends, it gets no more real than this; if you're not familiar, it's a great entry point, for those already in line, it's a nice collection of tunes we all know and love. Besides the title track, there's Honky Tonkin', I Saw the Light, Move It On Over, and my favorite, Lost Highway. Twenty two tracks in all, nice new remasters, in a two CD set at a bargain price...........whatcha waiting for? Essential listening for not just country, but ALL music fans. Highly recommended.

Following the passing of the iconic David Bowie, I took some time to revisit my 40+ year following of this legend. One of my favorite tours wrapped around the Reality album, and what a tour it was! The DVD version was released many years ago, and while featuring a great mix of tunes from his storied career, there were several left out..........this well planned CD helped remedy that situation............A Bowiephile's dream if ever there was one! Truly a priceless package covering several stages of David's music through Reality. I know there's an LP package (3 on BLUE vinyl!) coming soon, but for fans wanting something more portable, this is a fitting testimonial of the talent that is Bowie. He was always "at home" onstage, and this proves that with style. A definite MUST HAVE!

I've tried ink from all sources, and these OEM from HP are the best, regardless of price. Like most purchases, the front end price pays off in long term reliability, HP products fall into this category. Don't bother with other mfg's so called exact replacement or "recharged" used cartridges, this is the right choice. I've had two HP printers under heavy use for years, these are the "GO TO" inks for sure.

Make no mistake........Ritchie Blackmore is one of rocks greatest guitarists, and this album alone amply proves that. My favorite track, Man on the Silver Mountain is the stuff rock dreams are made of, and that's only the beginning, Catch the Rainbow, Black Sheep, and Still I'm Sad round out this package, 9 tracks total, and best of all............ALL KILLER NO FILLER!! So Ozzy's all over the news these days, splitting from his wife, etc.......sorry for that, cause the time wasted worrying about his current woes could be better spent enjoying some good old school rock from some metal giants! Anyone on this planet for more than 15 minutes has heard Ironman, that thundering headbanger from this gem along with War Pigs and so much more. For long time fans, here's a trip well worth retaking, for the newer crowd getting into Black Sabbath, here's a fine entry point! Highly recommended.

OK, let's cut to the chase .............why did I watch this? Answer: MILA KUNIS! Besides not being hard to look at, she does have acting ability, something I missed here. This is one of those "Goofy Gosh, can ya believe that?" FX laden mindbenders from the Washowskis (you know, The Matrix guys, yeah!, but also the Cloud Atlas guys, oh boy) Anyway, this is a bit of a puzzler, but if you've got some time, this is a trip for the senses. Not for everyone, but go with it and see where it takes YOU.

A Top Shelf Version of a Horror Classic

Sir Christopher Lee was a huge star in any number of films from any genre, but most folks deservedly recall him in several productions of Dracula. While that may be his horror calling card, this film will remind all he also chilled us as The Mummy. While his speaking time in this is limited, his expressive eyes convey more than words ever could.......a tribute to the man's acting ability, his presence is undeniable. This is my favorite mummy, due to the care and attention put into it.........further, this transfer is a real jaw-dropper, far better than previous issues. Add Terence Fisher's spot on direction and the iconic Peter Cushing, and you have a must see Hammer production. Though nearly 60 years old, The Mummy STILL delivers.

Samsung lives up to its good name again with this top notch DVD player. First, it's user friendly , very versatile in its hookup, delivers great upconversion picture and sound, easy to operate, and is very reasonably priced.......how can you top that? Along with the usual pamphlets, Samsung offers an indepth online manual so any questions can be easily addressed, nice to know if the need arises. I'm very pleased with this unit and will be back to Samsung for my next electronic purchase.

Having missed this at the theatre on its initial run, I wanted to see the picture and this Blu ray filled the bill beautifully. It was so lavished on at Oscar time that I proceeded with some caution ,but after seeing Fury Road, I have to say this is the best High dollar B movie EVER! Director George Miller delivers the goods in spades and the FX are jaw dropping, the action non stop, the actors spot on and the story engaging.............how can you lose? A fantastic relaunch to the legacy of Mad Max........and did I mention Charlize Theron..........WOW! A great time for all, but not so much for younger folks, a bit of a rough ride on Fury Road! Definatly recommended!

I'd say that if you have a standard installation dedicated system, yes you can operate both simultaneously. In the past, some systems only allowed operating either/or, but today's majority of setups support both at once as internet and phone lines are dedicated to their own service.

Does the LCD screen light up?
I notice that they have backlit buttons, but I don't see the screens being lit up. Maybe hard to see in the dark.
Yes, the screens have backlites AND the added benefit of large letters & numbers onscreen. Very user friendly in low light situations... hope this helps.

Does it work in 220V?
NOPE! Designed for 110volts and using converters etc has never ended well for most users. Best to stick with equipment designed to fit your needs. (I assume you want to use this tv internationally, hence the 220v question,,,,,,,,be aware if this the case there are several international tv standards which may pose new problems as to regional standards which may not allow this set to operate,

how many channels will it pick up
To give a "non answer" response to your question, this set will deliver based on what you feed it........ in other words based on signal strength this tv will deliver a great picture. We have one these in a rural setting using only an outdoor antenna and even at that delivers over 30 channels perfectly. If you had this on a cable or satellite system I would see this being only limited by that input, as the tv in itself is very capable.

How is this a smart tv? No mention of apps?
No, this is NOT a smart tv. though Samsung offers a "big brother" to this set (same physical size and similar features), but equipt with SMART tv technology for only a few bucks more than this model.
