We wanted something better than the camera we had, but didn't want to spend a lot of money, especially as we're not camera buffs, just folks who like to take nice pics on occasion. This kit fills the bill and then some. We've shot over 500 great photos in the short time we've had it, and they are flawless! The Rebel T6 is easy to operate, yet has sophisticated features for more in depth work. The second lens included also allows for more creativity and variance. I would highly recommend this set for just about anyone due to its versatility and price.

Remember being 18? Remember your first encounter with rock legend David Bowie? OK, so I missed a lot of the 70s and 80s for reasons both self induced and otherwise, I DO recall being 18 and already a long time fan of Bowie................YOWZA, this one will certainly give ya a much needed rush! Diamond Dogs is a great concept album from an artist known(at the time) as much for his theatrics as his music; this one pushed the envelope even further. I've had/heard this gem on every conceivable platform (cassette, 8 track, CD, Vinyl) and this version stands tall with any of them, the production is squeaky clean and razor sharp, a nice upgrade to previous copies. While all tunes on this album are exceptional, The Candidate is especially chilling,(in light of the upcoming Election), and Rebel Rebel remains a spirited anthem for all of us who rally for the cause of ROCK! Even though this extraordinary talent left our mortal coil earlier this year, Diamond Dogs is proof of his vision and genius, and a grand passageway to the next 40 years of incredible music and film. BOWIE LIVES!!! Have this already? Time to upgrade, Don't have this piece of Rock History? GET IT NOW!

A Great Tribute to a Living Legend

Being a lifelong fan of any artist is never easy, but it's a very fulfilling labor of love. If you happen to be a fan of Gordon Lightfoot, your quest to gather an amazing selection of tunes at a very fair price is solved here! This package was originally available around 1999, hence the lack of music from more recent albums, but don't let that hold you back, there's a million reasons why this collection is a must have. All the hits are here, along with several alt versions, B sides, and some early rarities to round out the lot. Add nice packaging, and a fine overview booklet, and you've found yourself just short of Lightfoot Utopia. After being a fan for nearly 50 years(!), I must say this is THE Lightfoot collection to beat, a fitting tribute to a living Legend. Thanks for all the great music and memories, Gordon................

First off, this is NOT my kind of movie, but it surely is my WIFE'S! Picked this up for her after she said she loved it when it aired last Christmas...........a nice telling of Dolly Parton's story as seen through her early age and hardship's of that period of her life. Wow! Talk about inspiring, sometimes tough times lead to strong hearts, and this certainly shows that. A nice family picture for all to enjoy and reflect on. Miss Dolly, you did great!

How can ya miss? Several lovely jailbirds escape their guards and set off for freedom, UNTIL, you guessed it, LANDSHARKS ATTACK! Yeppers, a moist and meaty lil' number here with some good acting (really!) and FX (really again!) Ok, two old dudes go for a walk in the woods..............if this sounds like the setup to a bad joke, be prepared for something WAY better! This picture has grace, style, humor and lots of heart, thanks in no small part to Robert Redford and Nick Nolte; their acting skills and likability make this a must see picture! Set along the majestic Appalachian Trail, this film has its OWN special effects in the scenery, we're along for a great time, and in good company with two of filmdom's top men. Highly recommended, and a nice break from blockbuster summer fare at the theater, sit back and ENJOY!

If you're familiar with the European legend of Krampus, you're in luck, if not, you're in for an education.............in either case, you're in for a mesmerizing view...... THIS MOVIE ROCKS! Creative, imaginative, and just more fun than the law will allow, here's one to take in and just enjoy. From the man who directed my Halloween favorite, Trick r Treat, comes a Christmas fantasy that gives a jolt to the ol' WOW meter. Great effects, great story, highly recommended, but NOT for little folks, several unsettling scenes make this not "full family" material. On Blu and DVD/Digital, along with nice bonus features, this is a great set at a very reasonable price.

This is one of the best "true story" pictures I've ever seen. I enjoyed this film years ago; the recent release of the new Hank bio-pic, I Saw the Light, made me feel it was time to view this gem again.......... memory served me well, this is a great film. George Hamilton turns in a fine performance as the legendary singer Hank Williams, a man whose talent and earthy relatability made him a hero in the eyes of America. As all too often, with fame and fortune there comes a price, and Hamilton and co play that part of his story with a sympathetic nod, making this a film for all to see. I love this film and this updated version from WB does its source material proud. Highly Recommended.

can i be on the phone while using the internet
I'd say that if you have a standard installation dedicated system, yes you can operate both simultaneously. In the past, some systems only allowed operating either/or, but today's majority of setups support both at once as internet and phone lines are dedicated to their own service.

Does the LCD screen light up?
I notice that they have backlit buttons, but I don't see the screens being lit up. Maybe hard to see in the dark.
Yes, the screens have backlites AND the added benefit of large letters & numbers onscreen. Very user friendly in low light situations... hope this helps.

Does it work in 220V?
NOPE! Designed for 110volts and using converters etc has never ended well for most users. Best to stick with equipment designed to fit your needs. (I assume you want to use this tv internationally, hence the 220v question,,,,,,,,be aware if this the case there are several international tv standards which may pose new problems as to regional standards which may not allow this set to operate,

how many channels will it pick up
To give a "non answer" response to your question, this set will deliver based on what you feed it........ in other words based on signal strength this tv will deliver a great picture. We have one these in a rural setting using only an outdoor antenna and even at that delivers over 30 channels perfectly. If you had this on a cable or satellite system I would see this being only limited by that input, as the tv in itself is very capable.

How is this a smart tv? No mention of apps?
No, this is NOT a smart tv. though Samsung offers a "big brother" to this set (same physical size and similar features), but equipt with SMART tv technology for only a few bucks more than this model.
