Basic Workstation, Limited Longevity, Not Gaming

I was looking to add an affordable desktop in my work area in the $500 range and decided to go with Dell. This desktop has very limited features with very limited upgradability to have lasting longevity. However its made well, easy access to motherboard with good cable management. One of the downsides is it comes with tons of bloatware. First thing that's a must is upgrade the RAM otherwise pc operations will be around 90% usage.
Setup: Setting up the desktop and running through windows the first time was a breeze. It walks you through each step of the way. Unfortunately the setup does not guide through some of the Dell support software or the intel storage management. Overall its a nice setup walkthrough and easy for anyone who is not tech savvy get though.
Hardware: My very first concern is the RAM only being 8GB, at the start it is already running above 80% usage then when you launch basic software or run for a short time it hovers around 90%. This slows down the computer as now its having to use the page file a ton. I strongly recommend spending the extra money to upgrade the RAM. With Windows absorbing so much of the RAM right off the start there is not much room software can play with. The hard drive is a higher end SSD which has some nice read/write speeds. I am glad to see Dell did not go cheap when it comes to the Hard Drive storage. The onboard integrated graphics is enough to run Windows 11 and very basic steam games. It definitely has its limitations and with the type of motherboard its limited at graphics upgrades. This is not a gaming machine at all however will work great for data processing, surfing the net or use as a hub for your network.
Software: First thing you will notice is the TONS of bloatware that comes on this machine. The first hour you will be spending is removing all the bloatware in add/remove programs. Its so bad that they have 4 different software version for each language installed. After removing all the bloatware I was able to gain even more hard drive room to software that I need/use on a daily basis. What is impressive is the support software that is installed onto the desktop. I like the Dell Support Assist software that provides a great central hub for optimizing the desktop. Also like it provides a "90 day snapshot" of desktop operations. I recommend using the software to easily keep the desktop in optimized shape. I also enjoyed the Intel Mem / Storage Management, this gives great insight of your SSD as well as ability to setup RAIDs. This has room for becoming a great storage hub for your home network. The Intel graphics command center is very basic which is understandable as the graphics chip is very limited. Still its nice to see the ability to customize the video display. It does have an audio mixer with is nice so if you have good speakers you can really kick out some great sounds. Lastly the machine comes with MacAfee trial which I recommend either keeping up to date or installing another antivirus.
Overall this is a very basic setup which is good for average computer usage or those who are on a budget. This works great in the $500 range, as long as it stays within the $500 range I can recommend this desktop.

Amazingly Fast, Great Capacity and Nice Heat Sink

I have always looked at RAM as one of the most important items in computers. The continual need for RAM speed, throughput and size increases as applications and windows becomes more advanced with updates. As soon as I saw these RAM sticks from Crucial I decided to jump onboard and try them out. I am so grateful that I did as these RAM sticks are fast and the heatsink is great at keeping them cool. The RAM works great for those who with to overclock and those who wish to use at stock settings. They are very well make, feels durable and easy to install. I strongly recommend going with PC builds that are at least 16GB or higher as Windows 10/11 takes up so much of the RAM along with running applications in the background. So far I have tested these RAM sticks with Adobe Premier video editing/compiling and gaming. Both can use up to 13GB of ram depending on video size and game. Each test I was very impressed with the performance and speeds along with how cool the ram sticks were after the stress load.
Overall I strongly recommend these RAM Sticks!

Easy to User, Quiet Compact and Efficient

I was in need of an humidifier that was easy to not only use but read the control panel for my parents. My parents are up there in age and would not be able to handle very complex programing or menu system. I am so grateful this Humidifier is very easy to setup, use and read the menu on the device itself. Out of the package it was very easy to put together, just have to make sure to get every little tape they have on the inside and oil tray. It can hold quiet a bit of water, I used a gallon of distilled water and there was still room for more. I especially like how it came with a demineralization cartridge for those who decide to use tap water. However I would strongly recommend to only use distilled water for longevity of the humidifier. It comes with extra aroma pads that you can place the essential oils on which is a nice feature. I really like how stable the humidifier is on the nice looking legs. The menu is very easy to read and very simplistic , you pretty much have settings of how much mist output to use along with a programable humidify setting starting at 35% going up by 5%. The clean indicator button is a nice touch however its more of a timer based than an actual senor to identify if dirty. The little night light setting is cute but is really more cosmetic I find as it will not really light anything up and more for a nice ambiance setting.
Overall this is a great , simple easy to use, easy to read operational menu that I recommend for anyone who wants a nice quiet humidifier.

Well made, multi-featured and long charge

I have been searching for a square reader for some time as my old 1st generation broke. I was so excited to try out the new 2nd generation Square reader and very glad I did. It seems that this square reader lasted a lot longer on a charge vs. the 1st generation. I was also impressed at how easy it was to setup / sync with my phone as well as the tablet. The ability to provide contactless payments (also known as NFC) worked great. Many of my customers used either Apply Pay or Google Pay. It does also work with Samsung Pay however I have not had a chance to use that aspect of it as I did not have anyone who used Samsung Pay. Overall the software was very easy to use and sign into along with how quickly it was to setup. The USB C charge makes it go pretty quick on the charging along with how light it was. It is very easy to travel with and I do like how it includes a short usb c cable with it.
Overall I would recommend upgrading to the 2nd generation square reader if you have not already done so. This was such a great upgrade for myself and happy that I did!

Long Lasting Battery, 16in Height, Quiet

I was in need of a new weed-eater as the one I use to have was falling apart. My old one was a cord electric and decided to try a battery ran one. At first I was worried at the length of time however was very impressed at how long it lasted.
The setup out of the box was very easy and simple. It was pretty self explanatory however does provide a small booklet to help figure it out. Components are made of hard plastic which is fine for keeping it from becoming too heavy over long period of usage.
I only used this for residential use, land is next to a retention forest so all range types of yard thick weeds/grass grows. Even with the very tough weeds and grass the battery still lasted for over 2 hours. I was impressed that the battery never became hot however didn't like the "Stickiness" that occurs from the greenworks logo on the side. The green smudged onto my skin as well as became very sticky. I ended up having to place a paper towel over the logo to keep it from sticking to my skin during usage. Unfortunately that paper towel blended with the logo so its not pretty looking anymore. I know many spoke of the trimmer/feeder part being plastic, however I have not had any issues with a "light" bump to gain more string.
After usage I re-charged the battery, it does take some time to recharge however I like that there is a status indicator on it to show what level the batter is at. I do recommend when charging the battery place the charger in another area as it becomes very noisy with the fan blowing.
Overall I really enjoyed using the product, the battery lasted over 2 hours, the height was perfect for someone 6ft and the strap made long usage not cumbersome.

Perfect Size, Awesome Gaming, Extremely Durable

I was in the market looking for an upgraded gaming laptop so I would be able to game while being on the road. I travel so much that the only true way to game is through portable devices. However I would still need a laptop to perform work duties as well. I came across this TUF gaming machine and so glad I did. This by far is the best gaming machine out on the market right now.
Package / Setup Software was very impressive. I love how much attention ASUS gives to ensure the laptop is properly packaged. Everything is very snug to ensure safe travels and easy to unpackage out of the box. Setup was a breeze as ASUS has an easy to understand walkthrough. Unfortunately this laptop comes with Windows 11 however its not Asus fault and wont let that impact my review. My Asus and Armory Crate is great software that you will be using a lot to really maximize the performance of the laptop.
Screen / Resolution is amazing! I did not want a small 15in laptop and the 17in ones are too large for my laptop carrying case. This TUF laptop is the perfect 16in size that fits my laptop carrying case perfectly! I am also impressed with the resolution and clarity of the screen. The 165hz refresh rate is awesome to prevent eye exhaustion on long spreadsheet days as well as very smooth gameplay.
Gaming / Graphics that comes in this laptop is the AMD Ryzen 7 Series. It is NOT top of the line as the NVIDIA graphics chip however it does come very close and only the hardcore enthusiast would notice a difference. Running graphics benchmarks the TUF AMD laptop achieved a very high score that is comparable to NVIDIAs. for high-end gamers this will work perfectly and able to max out almost all the current 2023 games out there. The only complaint is the "AMD Adrenalin Edition" software its not user friendly and limited to what it can do to maximize your game settings. Also the drive space is super small, 500 would only get you a few games so strongly recommend buying an SSD to upgrade. The RAM is 15gig and at most have only used 8gig running high end games so no real need to upgrade RAM unless thinking of transforming this to a video editing rig.
Battery Life is amazing on this laptop as long as you properly set them within Windows 11. I do not recommend gaming while on battery as it will drain it and does have a performance it. However as long as you customize your settings in Windows 11 to maximize battery life while not on AC power it can last up to 4 hours! I currently have it set to max battery life while on battery then on AC max power settings. The best software to use is the Asus Armory Crate, you can set GPU mode to "Ultimate" which basically unleashes it which is awesome to see. Windows 11 tries to hide the battery / AC settings under "Environmental Impact" which is a huge pain. However once you get past that you can customize those power settings to really take advantage to battery saving and AC plug settings.
Sound / Speakers are located under the laptop which does place it at a small disadvantage versus other laptops. However this laptop comes with Dolby Access which makes the sounds crystal clear. It was really great hearing the games , music play on this laptop. I would recommend going into Dolby Access to really take advantage of the sound system. I just wish they placed the speakers on the top front area of the laptop like other TUF laptops.
Overall this is an amazing laptop that you can use for business and gaming. The laptop itself is very durable to withstand all that travel in laptop carrying cases yet still lightweight to not become so heavy over time. The light keyboard and graphics is great and saves you a few extra 100 for only marginal difference with the NVIDIA TUF version. I strongly recommend this laptop for anyone looking for an awesome gaming machine, work machine and sound system.

I was in the market for a radar scanner to try out and decided to try this one as it was within my price range. Right out of the box it became obvious I would need to study/research all aspects of this device as the material that comes packaged with it is really no help. Out of the box, it directs you to a phone app and setup the link was easy enough. The latch to the windshield works great and I really love the magnetic part for quick remove/attach of the radar. The power cable is custom RJ-11 connector so be sure to never loose it. Its short length makes it bulky right in the middle of your view when driving. I do like it provides a USB connection into the plug for those like me who only has 1 outlet.
The required setup/customization cannot be expressed enough with this radar. Right out of the box I would receive false positives while driving. The first few days it was a mess, picking up alerts from buildings, road pop transmitters, etc and missing police vehicles that were literally siting on shoulder tagging cars. Each night I would read up on each radar band, setting trying different combinations. Until finally about 5 days in I found the best settings for my environment. Now it works perfectly spotting not only the necessary bands but also detects POP, TSA and Multa. (If you dont know what those are, its a must nowadays) I spent a week total of testing, in day/night, city/highway, and 1 hour up to 4 hour increments. There is a ton of customization that is not only required but a must to make this a worthwhile product. Other customization settings like the Speed MPG indicator or the GPS tracking are nice but dont seem to properly work. I was in an area that has a speed limit of 25, yet it shows speed limit of 28. I was driving at 22MPG yet the radar was showing I was going 26MPG. In the end I just disabled those features as they were annoying.
The requirement of always needing to run the app on your phone is not great. Even if you set it to just run in the background it will drain your phone. The app is a must to understand the alerts being received, to customize the radar settings and keep record of those speed traps. In the end I had to have the app running on screen to quickly see what radar was doing. Its distracting and disappointing the radar does not record everything internally so you can just look at it later when launching the app. Speaking of that, if you are not running the app, it will not record any of the alerts so you will have no idea what went on during your drive. It does not keep the data for when you launch the app later.
Overall trying to rate this was very difficult. On the one hand, this radar is powerful able to detect all the bands, has Oscillation protection along with TSR and Multa. However on the other, unless you actually go into those settings and turn these features on your radar is worthless. Also requiring to always run the app and no battery must always be plugged in is a huge disappointment. If you are a beginner entering into the radar market, then this one is not for you. Unless you are willing to study and customize each setting to fit your environment this radar is at 20% efficiency. On the other hand, if you are a mid to expert in radar knowledge this is a must have as its impressive with all the bands and capabilities it has.

Great Picture, Easy Setup, Tons of Apps

I have never been a fan of curved monitors however decided to try out this monitor after hearing so many good things about the Odyssey. I am glad that I gave this monitor a chance as I have been very impressed with the quality of the product and the amount of options this monitor has. The monitor was shipped with easy setup that provides both DisplayPort and USB to PC cables. It does NOT provide an HDMI cable however with the 8k DP cable an HDMI cable is not really needed. Out of the box it provides an option to use a stand of wall mount to setup your monitor which was a really nice touch. The software setup was easy to use and provide a nice first time walkthrough for apps and internet setup. There are a ton of apps available for this monitor along with a nice "Game Mode" feature. The only downside is being unable to uninstall most of the unused apps that come pre-installed. However there is a large app storage space so at least there is room for downloading / installing additional apps that you use. The game mode feature is very nice , allows for great customization on how you wish the play particular games. I believe the best feature is not having to turn on your computer to just surf YouTube or play Spodify music. I have not notice any picture difference between this curve monitor and my other 27in monitor that is not curve. Overall the picture looks great and does not have any dead pixels. I like how the speakers sound on this monitor however wish it was facing front of monitor instead of downward against the desk. Overall, I strongly recommend this monitor for all the features and ease of use it provides.

Fast, Reliable No Heatsink

I was looking to upgrade my Asus Tuff Gaming laptop memory however with bad experience in the past was looking for reliable RAM. I am pleasantly pleased at how reliable and durable these RAM sticks are, especially when resting in a laptop. With constantly being on the go and placing my laptop in multiple environmental conditions I worry about the components inside. I am glad to see with the constant standby / wake and mutli apps running there has not been any issues. I really enjoy the speed of these RAM sticks as well especially when having to multitask throughout the day from a wake start. My only wish was there to be heatshields on them however at present moment have not had any heat warnings while processing video or playing games. These RAM sticks were very easy to install without issue and made very well. Overall I recommend these RAM sticks if you are in the market of upgrading your laptop with more memory. As the saying goes , you can never have enough RAM in your computer.

Easy to Use, Great Pictures and Videos, Fun Helper

I have been looking for a small camera I could take with me to events to aid with the photo and video taking. I use so much equipment that felt it would be nice if I could combine both pictures and videos into one while I use my professional main one for more focused events. I found using this Canon PowerShot was a great little helper to take pictures during events while I am running around taking pictures with my other equipment. I really enjoyed the custom settings to allow picture taking of all around along with the video. This little helper caught some amazing action shots that I am now sharing / combining with my professional shots with my photo package. The best part of this little helper is you do not need to be constantly connected to it. You can configure it on how you wish it to operate , set it down and let its do its thing. Later after the event you can connect it to your computer and download all the pictures. Picture quality was great, the zoom was clear and the video audio was clear as well.
Unfortunately the battery is average, it may be due to taking pictures and videos during events. When I set it to pictures only it seems to improve the battery life. Charging is slow so its good to plan ahead before using this for the event.
Overall I would recommend this product for anyone who enjoys taking pictures and videos during events. This is a great little helper when you are running around taking shots.

There is not a manual setting however there are load sensors inside that will allow the system to judge how much water to use.

Can we use pods for this washer
Yes you can use pods however will have to throw in with the clothes as the soap dispenser does not completely dissolve the pod.

will this stream net flix and amazon? this is probably a stupid question, but I need help.
Its ok , do not feel silly asking as I am sure there are others out there with the same question. Yes it will stream both and the quality is just as good as Roku however the Netflix version on Amazon TV/Firestick will not show the actually video quality in the status during play. I am always checking to make sure Netflix is streaming the show at 720p or 1080p as it can change during play and that was a little disappointing when I discovered I couldn't on Amazon TV/Firestick

Can I get international Indian Chanel and movie on this Amazon Fire tv
Yes Bingo TV and Sling TV does have the option however will require a subscription.

Can you stream new movie releases?
As long as you have a subscription to one of the movie channels like Hulu+, Amazon and CinemaNow you will.
