Lightweight, Travel Size, Good Battery, Miss Hairs

I have always been one that uses electric razers all my life. I am always interested in trying multiple sytles and sizes as my facial hairs are thick and difficult to cut. I use to use Norelco a ton in the past however their products lately seem to have lost its flexibility on jaw frame styes.
Right out of the box , it is very easy to setup, just plug it in to charge then it is good to go. I do recommend to register the product which Norelco makes it very easy to go through. The charge cord is USB without the brick so be sure to have something that you can plug the USB cord in to charge. There is a platic cap to cover the blades, just be sure to put it on the right way otherwise it will not snap on right. There is also a nice simplistic cover that this fits in to to travel.
Usuage was where it fell short for me unfortuantely, the button is easily placed and pressed so turning it on / off is very easy. However The Norelco blade heads are not very flexible and doesnt work on the contour of my face. It will bend towards the center which is nice however, does not move in any other direction. This forces you to hold the shaver a certain way or become creative to try and shave areas of your face. I miss some of the older Noreclo models that had "360" movement on each of the swirling blade heads. This also will pull hairs on your face at times. I have had mine fully charged then tried it on short stuble and long hair days. It unfortuatnately would randomly pull hair at different spots on my face cauzing razor burns. I do not use electric shaving cream however feel you may need to if using this particular product. Noise level is a higher pitch than my older Norelco models however not loud so doesnt really bother me.
Overall I feel this would be an entry level product for those who need a quick simple shaver that have light hair follicles. Otherwise for thick hair try to find the Norelco 360 blade head models.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy Setup, Great Software, Tricky Ink Cartridge

I have always enjoyed HP printers and was looking forward to upgrade my legacy printer to the Pro 9135e. It was packaged very well and pretty light to make it easy installation. I went through using my phone for the setup which is recommended through the start up guide. However you are able to use the HP software for PC setup if preferred. Upon starting the printer it does force you to use the online setup so there is not an option to setup through the printer screen menu directly. My only concern during the setup was insertion of the ink cartridges. I did not like how flimsy the casing was and how you have to push the ink cartridges into the spring. You must be vary careful to make a direct insert and not wobble the cartridge too much. My concern is that over time that ink cartridge container is going to wear/warp and break.
Printer is quick and not as load as other legacy printers. The ink quality for pictures and papers look really great and did not see any signs of smudges or skips. The scan is also quick and has picked up everything I scanned without issues. Speaking of scanning , the pc software for the HP Scan has a larger user interface in this latest version. It is really nice to be able to read and navigate however would have loved the ability to change the window size.
My only issue is the forced sending Data collection settings during setup along with the HP cartridge chip to only allow approved HP ink cartridges for use. I can understand the HP ink cartridges as you would not want to damage your new printer with a bad 3rd party ink cartridge. However there is no reason you should be forced to allow data collection and cannot opt out during setup. Luckily you can go back into the HP Scanner Assistance software > Data Collection Settings and disable.
Overall this is a great printer with easy install , setup and easy to use software. Have to be careful with that data collection and worry that ink cartridge frame is going to wear. However time will tell if that ink cartridge is durable after long usage.

Super Light, Limited Distance, Long Battery

I have always wanted to try out a drone however wanted something entry level as I was worried of crashing it. I came across this drone with a good price point so decided to try it out. I am so glad that I did as it was very easy to setup, get started and comes with easy to use software. Out of the box it was very easy to setup by expanding the wings and the antennas. There is an area to place your phone as you will be using it as your main viewer when it comes to the camera. The wings felt well made and snaps into place without much force. As for the controller, all the buttons are simple pressed, there are 2 wheels at the top that are snug so feel like they will last. The joysticks on the controller have short range of motion without much resistance. There is a battery charge indicator on the controller which is nice to know where its at. Speaking of the battery , both the battery for the drone and the battery for the controller seems to have lasted for quite some time. I was very impressed of how many hours I was able to run it. My guess was due to how light the device is, it does not take much energy to fly. Another huge plus is that this drone comes with an extra battery pack which helps you remain outside flying for longer. The video and picture quality was good, not extremely impressive however I under this is an entry level unit so didn't expect extreme quality. Depending if you have an SD card , it can go up to 1080p picture / recordings. If you do not have an SD card inserted it scales down to 720p. The pictures save within the application and is easy to access if you are not using an SD card. Speaking of the application, it was very easy to use and provided a lot of onscreen features. My favorite is the voice commands, that was fun to use. The drone comes with some pre-set fly patterns which was very cool to watch with an easy click of a button.
Overall this is a great drone for those who wish to try drones out. A huge plus was including an extra battery and spare propellers. I definitely recommend this product!

Easy Setup, Great Picture, Overclocking Able

I have always been a fan of Dell Monitors as they are so easy to setup and use with any machine. I decided to try this one out for a simple gaming pc that I have setup in my office. I was very impressed with the packaging and all the included connection cables it comes with. You are provided a choice of HDMI , USB DVI and a nice long power cable. The monitor cords are about average in length so be sure to plan your computer desk layout accordingly. Setup of the monitor was extremely easy, the parts easily come together and with plug in play no additional steps are needed. The monitor itself has some great options for customization along with being able to setup shortcut keys with the buttons on the back. The best thing about this monitor is the overclocking refresh rate ability. instead of the 240Hz, I was able to overclock it to 280Hz. The best part was windows 10 detected the change and allowed refresh rate on windows side to match. With the overclocked monitor I have not seen any tears or display issues when playing with games. However I cannot speak towards if overclocking will impact the lifespan of the monitor. So far everything has been working smoothly.
Overall I strongly recommend this monitor for those who are wanting to get into gaming or building as cost effective mid-range gaming machine.

Great Scratch, Cutting, Pads and Lightweight

I have been in the market for a entry level DJ control pad as I have getting more into DJ'ing this year. I decided to try out this pad as it was within my price range where I didn't want to spend thousands when trying to get into this market. Setup was very easy and was very impressed with out light it was out of the box. It was packaged well and easy to setup / install the software. The power brick is kinda bulky however understandable as it keeps the unit light. The available plugs for setup includes all the standards like XLR's , RCA , mic and USB. I am glad the headphones jack is easily accessible without having to be hovering over the pad. As for what software to use I recommend using Serato Demo , I enjoyed their library and great for entry level play. I used this during my last gig, I was impressed with how great the Fade and cutting was on the device. There is very minimal drift upon the record and really love the pads setting. The color scheme was very impressive and really enjoyed the spinning platter placements. It is unfortunate that unable to use the 12in or 10in vinyl's however thats not a large deal for myself. I have quiet a few 7in records and with the choice of slip mats it works out either way.
Overall this is an amazing product and strongly recommended for anyone looking to get their foot into the DJ world. The abilities of this device and the options it allows was very impressive with the price point it is currently at.

Lightweight Comfort, Waterproof, Accurate Readings

I love smartwatches and have been trying to get my wife into them for some time now. She is the simplistic type that doesn't need all the bells and whistles complexities like those crazy Apple/Samsung watches. Her main wants/needs were to monitor health and workouts without all the complex tech learning curves. I was so glad that I discovered Withings, these watches are perfect for a wife who want simple accurate readings that are easy to get to.
Watch - The setup was very easy, out of the box it came almost fully charged so went ahead and charged it up to 100%. The watch sits comfortably in the charging case without fear of not being placed properly or falling off the charger. The app was easy to setup / connect to the watch along with account creation. The watch is very light and sits perfectly on my wife's wrist. The watch battery lasts quite a long time on a single charge. My wife wore it and used it straight for 3 days before having to charge it. It is water resistance to a certain depth so pretty much water proof on showers or rainy days. The watch senor and the back is large and covers a large area of my wifes wrist so there was never a worry that is not resting / reading perfectly. The screen on the watch is small yet very clear and easy to navigate through. This most likely is the reason the battery lasts so long due to not having a large screen area. The while is pretty much the go-to for charging and navigation of the menus.
Watch Abilities / App - The Watch is able to accurately track my wifes heart rate, sleep methods and steps without any issues. My wifes and I most favorite ability is it tracks my wifes cycles which is perfect for those following NFP (Natural Family Planning). This allows us to track to ensure cycles are healthy and keep eye out for any symptoms of irregularities. The watch app has very detailed information and workout programs to assist with. My wifes only issue is it was a little hard to navigate through the app however she is not very techy. The app has nice features however a lot of them are behind a paywall which is very disappointing.
Overall this watch is made very well, comfortable to wear and has great tracking features. My wifes favorite part of the watch is the cycles tracking and sleep quality. It is discouraging that a lot of the apps great features are behind a paywall. However thankfully that does not impact the watch itself and all the readings are shown on the watch screen.

Easy Install, Great Video Audio Rec and 2-way talk

I have been a huge fan of Arlo products, I have several Arlo cameras, sensors and keypad in my home. I really appreciate that they do not force you to have a subscription to record video by allowing you to use a SD card in their hub station. I have always wanted to upgrade my doorbell to a smart doorbell and decided to go with Arlo. I know its pretty large compared to other smart doorbells however wanted to give them a chance. I am so glad I did, this doorbell has been amazing at recording video / audio and providing 2-way communications.
Setup - Out of the box it provides all the items needed along with a "slight" angle frame. I have a wired doorbell so it was easy to connect the wires to the Arlo device. The screws are pretty thick and long to support this large device to be ready to expand those holes in your wall. Arlo provides video walkthroughs for installation and setup which was awesome at making this super easy. Due to my doorbell being on the side instead of front facing walkway I purchased an extended angler. This made it a ton better at capturing my whole walkway and recommended for those who have side doorbells as well.
Video / Audio - The video and audio on this looks great, out of the box it is set to optimized battery however if you are using wires like myself I recommend changing to video quality. The video looks great during the day and at night. I like the ability to zoom in the picture to make out far away objects. The audio is clear and crisp sounds give me the comfort that they can hear me clearly when speaking. On that note, it has a really cool feature that it will call your cell phone when someone presses the button to speak instead of just an alert/ping. This call feature guarantees you'll never miss a call as well as allows responsive 2-way communication without needing to go through the app. You can even leave recorded automated responses that can be set when they press the button which was a nice feature.
Arlo App - the Arlo App allows for a lot of customization of the Arlo doorbell. If you are one that likes to go in and customize settings then this will be a great feature for yourself. I for one loves to always tweak things until I have the perfect match. Not to worry though if you want simple out of box functionality, then this works perfectly for that as well. For customize enthusiasts you can setup routines to specify recording time, activity zones , notifications, etc. The best part is you can access the recordings from your SD card if you do not have an active subscription.
Arlo Subscription - You do not need a subscription to enjoy 99% of the features however if you want the ability to view video while away from your home network you will need one. It is nice that they allow a simple 5/10 month subscription to tie to one device if you do not want the whole subscription package. Overall I have been off and on Arlo Subscriptions and have enjoyed their quality level of service and rates. No contact and you can cancel anytime. I normally jump onto a subscription during special rate periods then cancel after those are over, waiting until next special rate period.
Overall this is a great product and strongly recommended for those who want a video doorbell with great audio/video. The ability to still record video on a local SD card without the need for a subscription is huge win!

Noisy, Extensive Instructions, Cumbersome

I was really looking forward to trying out an expresso machine to add to my normal coffee routine. I decided to try this one out as it was marketed as an easy to use , simplistic way to have expressos. Unfortunately it was a huge eye opener or myself and my family as this was anything but easy. First out of the box impressions was it being packaged very well however noticed the instruction book was super small/thin that made me a little worried.
Setup was very easy and all parts were easy cleanable. Once all setup I dove into the instruction booklet, that is were I felt I was back in college reading a college book. These instructions are very extensive, there are no diagrams and it describes hidden functions based on button press length or button press patterns. To say the least this was overwhelming. It is important to ready thoroughly the entire instruction booklet as they cross-reference previous steps otherwise you will become lost missing key steps. Especially the Care and Cleaning section.
After reading the entire instruction booklet and cleaning the product I was ready to try it out. I turned it on, performed the button press pattern, held the button for length of dispense and pressed the steam button. After all those key combinations were performed I received the "Perfect" expresso. It is important to note, this is an expresso size dispense not a coffee so they are suppose to be little amounts at a time. There is a feature where you can squeeze two expresso cups under to make an expresso for both cups. I ended up just using the two expresso open for my single cup to make the prefect amount each time. The steam feature is the most pain point. On initial use water will come out so be sure to let that clear to heat up to steam level. Afterwards the steam comes out nicely to foam up the milk. However after usage I have not found a way to get back at making additional expressos without having to power switch it off and on. It seems after using the steam button you cannot go back to the expresso function. Throughout this entire process, it is very noisy with hearing a thump from the pump action for the steam.
Overall I gave it 3 stars, it does the job however it takes a lot to get it working. It is very noisy, the instructions are very extensive to read through and cumbersome to use those button combinations / patterns.

Amazing Video/Picture, Great App, Multi Features

I was in the market for a reasonable priced indoor security camera and decided to try this one out. I was very impressed with the amount of features, the quality of pictures/video and ease of use this camera has. Out of the box there was not much to it, however there were a ton of RC Scan codes all over the place to get the model/make and software. I recommend just go straight to the store and download the Tapo app directly. The setup / connection was very easy to perform, it uses Bluetooth then has the device connect to your 2.4 network. Unfortunately it does not connect to 5 band which is disappointing that it only uses legacy band.
The video and picture is 2k high quality and looks great. Even with high movement it captures it very well. The sound capture is alright , id say right in the middle, you can make out what is being said / heard however its misses the low tones. I especially love how there is an SD card to locally store the videos and pictures. This is one of the best features! You can use this and not have to worry about paying for a cloud subscription if you do not wish to. You can also share the video/picture which allows you to send out if needed.
The application gives a ton of functionality that I was very impress with and provided an easy to navigate menu to get through all the features. I especially loved the permission share with family members using the TP-Link ID email. You also have the ability to enable RTSP protocol for NVRs or NAS which is a great feature to have. The software was really responsive and on target for motion detection and tracking. It almost has full 365 motion which really prevents blind spots. The software also allows for communication and alarm settings. The best part is the privacy mode that is clearly defined and when enabled shows to ensure you are set to private when needed.
Overall this is a great product and cannot recommend this enough for anyone who is needing an indoor security camera. This has a ton of multi purposes and great features that will make this last for quite a while.

Great Sound Rec, Light Indicators, Nice Software

I was in need of a nice quality microphone that was entry level that would aid during video recording / voice overs. I decided to try out the SteelSeries Alias as I have always enjoyed their products. I decided to try out the Alias instead of the pro as I am fairly new to this. I was very impressed with how easy it was setup and the software that you use with the microphone. There was not much in the packaging and the software had to be downloaded / installed off their website. Its pretty much plug in play via USB C and does not require a power cord which is a nice plus.
You can tell that the mic itself is made well and is very stable on the stand that is included. I really liked the shock absorbers that the mic has upon if ever needing to move the mic/stand around the table. The lighting was very impressive and gives great indicators of the audio levels , mute and ambiance. I like how there are nobs to adjust the mics instead of always having to refer back to the software itself. It does come with a "Boom Arm" adapter for those who has the arm to attach too. I kind of wish it had a shield however those are very easy to find and purchase so was not too worried about that.
The software itself was very impressive, I really enjoyed the customization that I am able to perform with the Mic boost, noise cancellations and equalizer. It even had a nice section to change up how the color flows under the mic.
Overall I was very impressed with this mic, the ease of use, great sound recordings and noise cancellation works perfect for my environment. Especially recommend for entry level into the gaming / streaming world.

There is not a manual setting however there are load sensors inside that will allow the system to judge how much water to use.

Yes you can use pods however will have to throw in with the clothes as the soap dispenser does not completely dissolve the pod.

will this stream net flix and amazon? this is probably a stupid question, but I need help.
Its ok , do not feel silly asking as I am sure there are others out there with the same question. Yes it will stream both and the quality is just as good as Roku however the Netflix version on Amazon TV/Firestick will not show the actually video quality in the status during play. I am always checking to make sure Netflix is streaming the show at 720p or 1080p as it can change during play and that was a little disappointing when I discovered I couldn't on Amazon TV/Firestick

Yes Bingo TV and Sling TV does have the option however will require a subscription.

Can you stream new movie releases?
As long as you have a subscription to one of the movie channels like Hulu+, Amazon and CinemaNow you will.
