I really enjoyed the first _Dolphin Tale_ movie. This was a very good sequel, a little more childish than the first, but it was still a pretty good movie. All the returning actors were good. Recommended.
The CGI Paddington is marvelously done and is impeccably voiced by the wistful sounding Ben Whishaw. The rest of the cast is great. The plot is so-so and could have been much better. Fun family movie, though.
All 13 episodes of the first season of this Lego-crafted version of the Star Wars saga are available in this collection. The series follows three siblings known as the Freemakers, who sell ships that they rebuild themselves. After one of the Freemaker kids discovers what is known as the Kyber Saber, the whole clain becomes involved in an epic struggle between the Galactic Empire--helmed by Darth Vader (voiced by Matt Sloan) and Emperor Palpatine (Trevor Duvall)--and the Rebel Alliance, which includes Luke Skywalker (Eric Bauza), Princess Leia (Julie Dolan) and Lando Calrissian (Billy Dee Williams, reprising his role from the original film series). Throughout their journey, the Freemakers are tracked by an undercover Imperial agent named Naare (Grey Griffin), who uses her chameleonic abilities in attempts to procure the Saber crystals.
I'm not an uber Star Wars fan, but I decided to watch this show after my older brother recommended it to me. I'm so glad that I decided to watch it. The Freemaker family is a great addition to the Star Wars universe. The voices are fabulous, the scripts and stories are very well written, and the episodes are well paced. This show is enjoyable for the whole family. Highly recommended for Star Wars fans and for anyone who needs a good laugh. A++++
Well, I grew up watching the Sabrina the Teenage Witch series and loved it. I also loved the movie, Sabrina Goes to Rome. The Down Under movie is blah next to the Rome movie. However, if you're a Sabrina fan, just buy it. It's a fun movie and was clearly shot on location in Australia.
Costume dramas from Britain seem to be in short supply recently. This is a fun, well made, extremely well acted adaptation of Trollope's novel. Highly recommended for fans of Victorian fiction and costume drama tv adaptations.
The fifth season of the popular ABC series Once Upon a Time continues as the characters head to Camelot to find the Sorcerer Merlin in the hopes of freeing Emma (Jennifer Morrison) from an ancient evil that threatens to destroy the world.
I love this show, but overall last season was a mess (at least the first half of the season). The writers were unable to completely utilize the idea of Emma as the next Dark One. Additionally, the Arthurian saga was a great idea and the story line could have been wonderful, but it was completely mishandled. Arthur was presented as a simplistic, inept, selfish loser. The second half of the season in the Underworld is better. I was surprised that the fifth season wasn't as fabulous as the first four seasons: they went above and beyond my expectations in the first four. I don't know, maybe the writers are just running out of steam. So far, the sixth season is much better than the fifth. Recommended for fans of the show anyway. Different important story lines are introduced and also wrapped up.
Optimized for VHF and UHF frequencies, this RCA ANTB25 antenna works with most ATSC digital tuners and NTSC analog tuners when signals are present, including HDTV and standard definition, to offer a reliable backup for when storms block transmission.
This release features the complete second season of the Starz historical, time traveling adventure series Outlander. Season two finds Claire (Caitriona Balfe) and Jamie (Sam Heughan) in France attempting to quell the Jacobite uprising lead by Charles Edward Stuart (Andrew Gower). All 13 episodes from the series are included, as well as bonus behind the scenes content.
This is an awesome second season. It even improves on the first season, which was fantastic. Some parts of the episodes of the first season dragged a bit. The second season is very fast moving and well done. Catriona Balfe is truly a marvelous actress. There are so many emotional episodes in the second season and Balfe was absolutely brilliant - so genuine. She is a bit underappreciated here in the U.S. - none of the late night shows promote Outlander. All of the actors (including the new French actors) are splendid as well. This season also deals with the tragic history of Scotland's defeat by the British in 1745. This is probably the greatest, but the most underrated, show on television. It is so well made. I'm very interested in seeing the third season. Make sure to buy the blu-ray. There are a lot more features on the blu-ray. I can't wait to see what's coming next in the third season. Highly recommended!
This is a great kids movie that both kids and adults can enjoy. Jim Parsons is hilarious as the Pollyanna-type alien that accidentally ends up on Earth. Rihanna does a good job as a voice actress for the main human character. The movie can be a little zany, but it's a lot of fun. Highly recommended!
This is one of the best movies of 2015. Brie Larson certainly deserved her Academy award. Jacob Tremblay was fabulous as well! The horrific situation of the characters is movingly portrayed by Larson and Tremblay. The movie is well paced and not exploitative in any way. Any flaws in the movie are due to the story, not the people involved in the movie. This is a very touching film. It is well acted, well paced, and definitely worth seeing. Highly recommended.
