This album is okay. There are a few good tracks. Nothing will ever come close to the magic of the original Smashing Pumpkins. And in some ways that's the way it should be. This is the Billy Corgan show. Billy has critiqued other bands ilke Foo Fighters for putting out the same ole stuff. But when artists try new sounds, they're not often good, whether they are using a new technique or still trying to capture the sound and success they once had. It's the nature of being an artist.
