Never a OD fan, but for whatever reason I thought I'd sample some of what this guy was all about. Though ZM has the musical chops, the music is just kind "meh". There is promise there, but my opinion is that it will take a few more releases.

The last few Cheap Trick albums have been a mixed bag for fans. This latest release highlights a great return to form, but still sounding fresh and relevant.
Having another (younger) Nielsen in the band is probably the exact tonic the band needed. Hopefully, Rockford's own will continue rock!

Ray's voice and song craft have gotten better though the years. I'd say this album is in his top two best. He seems to have become a little less grumpy in his style. Perhaps that's what success brings.

This album took me by surprise. I was expecting a kind of "more the same" type album that artists of her fame level crank out. But there are some significant melodic left turns on this album. Which could have been horrible, but are not. Buy this one with an open mind. This is the graduation album for Rihanna. From Pop star to real musical artist in creative control.

Chris Brown sings a lot about having $ex. $ex is fun, $ex is great, but to make every other song about how he's "hittin it" becomes really, really boring and contrived.
Melodically speaking, Brown has put out some great stuff during his career, but when the lyrical content always comes back to the same stuff, I stop paying attention.

This album has an odd tile of Music Complete, but it is the guts of New Order. I'm a New Order fan and I didn't know this was out until 4 months later.
