Some issues but otherwise works well

his is a FAST switch. It allows me to transfer data between my 3 computers so quickly that hard drive transfer rate becomes the limiting factor (although I guess that should be a given since it IS gigabit and only one of my computers is running a RAID0). My only qualm is that it does not always properly detect 1Gb vs 100Mb connections, and after running for a couple of months refused to allow a 1Gb connection at all on 3 of the 5 ports. Thankfully I was able to fix this by cycling the power (unplugging it then plugging it back in) but this really shouldn't be necessary. It was cheap and therefore certainly worth the money I spent on it despite its minor irregularities.

We're a huge Apple family, so we were unsure if we needed Sonos. In the end, I've become a huge fan of Sonos, realizing that no one else including Apple can do what Sonos does. I had no idea what we were missing, or how much more music we'd play if we had a different way to interact with our music library or TV audio. In the end, we find ourselves dancing or singing to music way more often than we ever did before Sonos.

Great router overall. I used it as a standard WiFi router for the first 8 months or so and as a WiFi bridge since then. Great connectivity and performance. Good user interface for configuration and updates.
Not the most attractive component but you know that when you buy it. Quite large which may be challenging to tell from online photos so look at the dimentions. The biggest complaint I have is about the 3 antennas. The antennas do not stay in place if tilted off vertical axis at all. The purpose of the multiple antenna is to provide higher throughput and better range via varying the directions of the omnidirectional antenna to provide the best coverage and potentially avoid interference. You cannot do this with the current setup. I called Netgear tech support who said I could "glue" the antenna in place which is pretty silly because you could not ever adjust them from that point forward. Look for better products out there unless you just need a close range high speed router or access point.

If you are considering anything less than these BOSE ......Learn from my mistake....spend the money....they are far superior to any other speaker of this type.

Amazing upgrade

The first, and most obvious difference from the iPad Air 1st gen and its predecessors, is that this is insanely thin! It is almost as thin as half the thickness of your average regular pencil! The second difference which isn't as obvious if you have the 1st gen air is its speed. The Air 2 comes with Apples newest generation of processor which makes it seem much "quicker" when you are opening apps, using processing power for photo or video editing, and even helps web pages run better. The screen got some minor improvements with Apple bonding the screen layers together rather than leaving an "air gap" which makes the screen more responsive and the picture look slightly better if you were really close up. Finally, the Air 2 comes equipped with a fingerprint sensor to give you an added layer of protection when you lock your device by preventing others to access your personal information. Touch also allows you to buy apps and other things with just the touch of your finger.

Great wifi performance relative to competition (signal strength and throughput) on BOTH bands (on par with my Amped Wireless R10000 and actually beat my Linksys E4200 v1).
