The BRV-XXL is a substantial speaker with drivers on either side of the handle. It has internal batteries so you can play your music without a power plug close by and provides up to 500 mA of power for charging a cell phone or other device.
The BRV-XXL supports NFC or traditional bluetooth pairing and has a small rubberized shelf with a small lip to keep your cell phone in place during use. Beside Bluetooth connectivity, you can use an input from a 1/8" stereo cable (not included) or an external microphone.
Sound quality is extremely good. It passed all of my sound quality benchmarks ("Toccata" from Manheim Steamroller's "Fresh Aire III", "Beethoven's 9th" by Maazel, "Beautiful People" by Marilyn Manson, Bach's "Toccata and fugue in D minor" by Peter Hurford, "Death of a bachelor" by Panic! at the Disc, Brubeck's "Take Five" and Vivaldi's "Four Seasons, third movement". Ordinarily, a lot of speakers color the music to sound good with only some kinds of music, or have cheap speakers and an internal amplifier that distorts badly as volume increases. I played my benchmark music at a variety of levels and was quite pleased with the results.
If you need to adjust the sound to your preferences, there are a set of controls for adjusting bass, treble and volume as well as a handy, dandy shoulder strap with an included bottle opener. Since the unit is rather hefty, the shoulder strap is a must. The speaker came with three additional power cables for non-USA use as well.

Do not hesitate to purchase this gimbal. It is rock solid when it comes to stabilization. I had no issues with it filming in Indonesia in muggy 100 degree weather. I paired this with a Hero 4 Black and the gimbal battery outlasts at least 5 (Hero 4 Black) GoPro batteries - hold down joystick for 2 seconds to put the gimbal into sleep mode, push again for 2 seconds and it comes back to life with out having to recalibrate.

Just got the cam this morning, so far I really like it , I think the best automatic true 360 degree cam on the market, I used a lot other cameras before so I can see the difference , it truly cover 360 degree up and down.
The still resolution is nice however I am getting some chromatic aborations on the white parts of the elements in photo , I tried also to make HDRI however got some app issue , it lose connection with the WiFi at distance of 15 feet , I tried to hide from the pic behind the car .
Also the objects in distance are not sharp and little fuzzy .

The GoPro Battery gets the job done! See your manual for recording times based on the format you are shooting, but these do fairly nice job, but have not compare them to other aftermarket batteries. They charge fairly quick, and again just a good idea to have extra one standing by on ready.

I purchased this drive largely based upon a specific need for a USB 3.0 product with 4TB of storage. I've owned many WD internal and external HD products over time and have not had any drive failures to date over many years. I purchased this drive specifically as a backup storage drive attached to a Synology 1813+ NAS unit. This required a reformat to EXT4 as the drive comes natively formated in NTFS. The Synology NAS schedules backup to this drive of selected folder shares using the "Time Backup" software available from Synology. I'm not utilizing any of the software included from WD with this drive (backup, cloud, etc.) as the Synology NAS has its own software for each of these purposes.

I wish V-Tech would still put in the capability of having a battery in the base unit so that the phone can be used during power failures as some of their old models did. Other than that, this is a fine cordless telephone.
Sound quality is far superior to the Panasonic that it replaced, both on the receiving and sending ends. It is easy to use, easy to program, has great battery life, and is nice to hold.
