Inexpensive, functional for any work needs

I assisted my mother with purchasing this laptop, which would be her very first computer of any kind for herself. Having experience with the ASUS brand before, I can vouch for it being a very affordable line of computers, and have always worked great for my needs (mostly browsing the internet, watching videos, and downloading various software). I can't really speak for if it's best for gaming or anything fancy like that, but if you just need something for the everyday basics, you could do much worse.
The only downside is that it runs Windows 8, which will soon be remedied once Windows 10 is up and rolling.

Works well enough for me

There's really not much I can say; it's your basic mouse that gets the job done. I chose a wired version over the wireless kind mostly just to avoid the eventual event of having to replace batteries.
If you're just needing something for typical computer functions and nothing fancy for gaming, you can't go wrong here.

An all-star smackdown featuring Godzilla!

For those not in the know, this movie comes from the Showa era (named after the period of Japanese history that lasted from 1926 to 1989...bet you didn't expect to learn something today!) which most Godzilla fans know as the years of Godzilla's more lighthearted, sillier outings.
In this particular movie, Godzilla and his menagerie of sometimes-friends-sometimes-enemies including the likes of Rodan, Mothra, Anguirus, and goofy son Minilla find themselves under the control of alien invaders, who are then set to lay waste to Earth's major cities. It all eventually leads up to an all-out brawl against Godzilla's famous nemesis King Ghidorah. If this plot seems familiar, it's probably because elements of this wind up in 2004's Godzilla: Final Wars.
It's a silly romp through sci-fi antics and giant monster rampages in the far far future of 1999, and if you want to see a team-up that's pretty much Toho's answer to The Avengers, give this a shot.

A campy good time with a one-hit wonder of a robot

For those new to the Godzilla series, the 60s and 70s are by far the goofiest era of the King of the Monsters. The big guy was less of a walking disaster serving as a warning to mankind about nuclear weapons, and more of a big reptilian superhero who engaged in large-scale wrestling matches with other monsters.
Godzilla vs. Megalon was originally meant to only star Jet Jaguar (the giant robot who looks suspiciously similar to Ultraman, which is probably why this is his sole appearance in the entire movie franchise), but nobody thought the heroic machine could carry a movie by himself. It still shows, though, as Godzilla doesn't really show up until much later in the movie to back up his robotic ally.
With plotlines revolving around ancient civilizations of Atlantis, and some light James Bond-esque spy action, the movie is absolutely ridiculous, but that's just part of the fun of it and this particular part of Godzilla history. So sit back and watch as Godzilla and Jet Jaguar kick and PUNCH! PUNCH! PUNCH! their way through the competition.

An epic airborne attack on the top of a jet as it screams through a downtown city. A thrilling skirmish against a frightening Cyclops, who bears a whip for an arm, atop a speeding train. An adrenaline-pumping ascension to the roof of a skyscraper as you duke it out with a demonic dragon, intent on killing you. Bayonetta 2 delivers jaw-dropping battles and insanely intense brawls against daunting adversaries in a climactic sequel to the original Bayonetta action game. From gorgeous cutscenes and arresting set pieces to endless action, this is a game that will have you spending a lot of time on the edge of your seat.To take the action even further, Bayonetta comes to this epic sequel armed with an arsenal of new weapons and abilities. She keeps her enemies under control with amazing moves and torture attacks, including the mighty Umbra Climax, which summons demonic monsters and boosts Bayonetta's attack range. Harness the power of a devastating arsenal with new weapons, including the Kafka, a bow that shoots poisonous arrows, the Rakshasa, a pair of gorgeous katana blades and the Chemobog, a massive rifle-inspired scythe. Bayonetta's fellow Umbra Witch, Jeanne, takes her side in the game as a nonplayable character to enable devastating combination attacks and help her dole out intense punishment for their enemies. Decimate foes with a friend in Tag Climax, a two-player online co-op mode. Earn halos by defeating enemies, wager them in online quick matches and earn hefty sums by coming out on top. Trade in your halos in a story mode shop to unlock brand-new techniques and buy accessories and alternate weapon variations that take your combat skills to the next level. Prove your dominance in battle by earning Stone, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Platinum Plus medals at the end of each chapter that reflect your skill level. Hone your abilities with three levels of gameplay designed to accommodate players of different skill levels, each more challenging than the last. Experience the game in two separate ways — in Normal mode or Touch mode. Normal mode brings back the much-loved technical control scheme introduced by the original Bayonetta game, while Touch mode allows you to use your Nintendo Wii U GamePad controller's touch screen to manipulate Bayonetta's movements, attacks and evasions. You can also pull the on-screen action off of the TV and onto your GamePad. Get ready for the thrill of the lifetime. Bayonetta has made her return in full force.

Great game, but only buy new

I was pretty psyched to find a pre-owned copy at a cheaper price, but was disappointed when I received the shipment to find that it didn't come with the bonus disc of the first Bayonetta game.
I requested a replacement, but again, no bonus disc. Since I'd have to return one of the copies to avoid getting charged for an extra game, I decided to just return both and get my gift card refunded
So definitely beware if you're hoping to get both Bayonetta games at a cheaper price. I'm almost certain that used copies have the bonus disc thrown away before repackaging for retail.
The game itself is fine; it's more of the over-the-top action that the original game had, with the main character's confident, sexy attitude making her a real spectacle to witness. The series is pretty much a spiritual successor to the Devil May Cry series (some of the same people are involved), and if you're still disappointed about Dante being turned into a potty-mouthed emo kid, Bayonetta is a wonderful second option.

Steven Spielberg's variation on Peter Pan, Hook comes to DVD with a superb widescreen anamorphic transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 2.35:1. Closed-captioned English soundtracks are rendered in both Dolby Digital 5.1 and Dolby Digital Surround. English subtitles are accessible. Supplemental materials include theatrical trailers, talent files, and production notes. This disc offers excellent picture and sound quality, making it worth a look, especially considering the reasonable list price.

Classic 90s fun from Robin Williams

I'm not sure if there's anyone alive who -hasn't- seen this movie yet, but if you happen to be one of those people, I see no reason why you shouldn't check this out. Not only is it a great performance from gone-from-this-world-way-too-soon Robin Williams, but it's a pretty cool take on the Peter Pan mythos and the bittersweet truths about growing up.
Is it a bit cheesy at times? Yeah, but it's all in good fun, and whether this is something you watched as a kid, or need something to watch with your own children, you can certainly do much worse.

I haven't printed too many copies with this yet, but so far it seems to be working well enough. It's probably the best deal you'll get for the price, and you could do worse than this.

If you liked the series, you'll probably want to buy this set. This contains the second half of the show, so no worries about having to buy yet another volume to complete the current episode count.
Both DVD and blu-ray versions look great, and the voice cast does a great job (Japanese audio is available for those who don't like dubs).

One of the better Sonic games in recent history

I recently picked up the Xbox 360 version of this game, after not having played it since the Playstation 3 version years back. If anyone's wondering, the game seems to play about the same on either console (be aware that the Wii and Playstation 2 versions aren't as expansive).
The Sonic series has seen some rough patches in recent years, but Sonic Unleashed was the point where things started looking up again. 2D-style segments in many levels bring back the feeling of the classic Genesis titles, and Sonic has never controlled better in 3D. The "daytime stages" are the highlight of this game, and showcase everything we love about the blue blur.
On the other side of the coin are the nighttime-based stages, where Sonic becomes the "Werehog" and goes through slower-paced, combat-heavy levels that feel very much like those of the God of War series. While not terrible, the style of gameplay is nothing like people would expect of this series, and you'll probably rush through these as fast as you can in order to get back to the regular Sonic stages.
Sadly, you'll have to take your time in these, as in order to progress through the game, you have to "buy" each level with medallions found throughout the stages that come before. It becomes a tedious task tracking these down, and overall it just feels like useless padding in order to extend the total playtime.
But again, this is one of the best recent games of the series, and with it being at the lowest price it will probably go outside of pre-owned copies (I purchased mine for about $15), it's not exactly a waste of hard-earned cash. Buy it if you enjoy the adventures of everyone's speedy hedgehog, and recommend it to friends over the previous Sonic '06.

What's great about it: Regular Sonic series are true to form; graphics and music are nice; can be found for cheap now
What's not so great: Werehog levels don't really fit in; gameplay is padded for longevity; difficulty is not very forgiving
