An all-time classic of anime

Honestly, I think that most people who are fans of this series have long-since picked this up for their collection. I'm personally behind on that myself, and finally decided to scoop it up before the dvds decided to stop going out of production (it's still being produced, by the by).
However, for anyone new to the anime scene, Cowboy Bebop is easily one of the best series to come out of the past 20 years. It's a fun, action-packed show focusing on a group of bounty hunters oozing with personality, with the flair of sci-fi and westerns mixed together, all accompanied with a soundtrack encompassing the genres of rock, blues, jazz, and more.
I would even suggest this to people who normally wouldn't want to watch an anime series, due to it being one of the more "western" series out there. It's not a very "Japanese" show in that there's no culture shock to watching it, and despite having a flowing narrative throughout the entire series, most episodes can be watched as standalones due to a plot that wraps up before the credits roll. Many people even consider the dubbed version to be superior, just for how well the voice cast is.
Anyway, I can't recommend this series enough. It holds up as well today as it did nearly 20 years ago, and is always a fun watch.

Decent in-game bonuses, a design fit for royalty

In case you're not aware, Amiibos are figures that contain a chip in the base that, when scanned into certain Nintendo games, provide bonuses and occasionally unlock features. They're never crucial for completion, but they are nice to have, and a cheaper alternative to more expensive figures on the market.
For this particular incarnation of the titular princess, Zelda's bonuses in the newest game in the series, Breath of the Wild, are shields and the occasional rupee (in-game currency). As said before, they're not needed for completion, but a free shield on occasion is nice.
The figure itself is pretty well-made, capturing the attractive design of the character and a color scheme that's easy on the eyes. My only real gripe is that it's not the most dynamic pose, but she still looks fine.
If you're a fan of the series and/or of the princess herself, I'd say to pick this up. Even if you don't own the newest game, she's a nice addition to anyone's collection.

Nice quality figure, decent in-game bonuses

For those not in the know, Amiibos are special figures that can grant certain bonuses when scanned into various Nintendo games that support them.
In the case of this particular version of Link (there's a few different versions of him on the market), scanning him into the latest Zelda title, Breath of the Wild, will often give you some of the stronger bows in the game as well as bundles of arrows. These aren't absolutely needed to complete the game, but they are a nice, quick freebie when you're trying to save rupees.
As for the figure itself, it's pretty nice, showing Link in a dynamic pose that's been shown many times in promotional material for this game. I especially like how instead of a somewhat-distracting pole to keep him in a midair pose, the design has a puff of dust acting as support, feeling more in-context with the action being portrayed. The colors are nice, too, and will help it to stand out of a sea of mostly green-clad Links in your collection.
Even if you don't own the game that this currently supports, I'd say pick this figure up if you're a fan of the series in general.

A modern classic worthy of the praise

More than likely anybody browsing for this is simply upgrading from an old DVD, so those folks probably need no coaxing to buy this.
For everyone else, this is movie that is among the best of any war film produced. It's gritty and holds no punches about the fact that, yes, war is the exact opposite of heaven (and really, Best Buy, you're going to make me censor a review for an R-rated movie?). It's about a bunch of average joes stuck in a situation that nobody would ever want to be in, and doesn't glorify anything in the process.
The only reason I give this four stars instead of five is due to this not being a movie one watches very often. It can get pretty rough, but it's definitely something that everybody should watch at some point in their lives to see what many of our ancestors went through.

Starts off slow, but ends up as one of the best

This series really needs no introduction, and chances are that if you've watching the original Star Wars at least once, you know what Rogue One is about.
Short short version: Trying to get the Death Star plans.
Obviously, a lot of what this builds up to is already known, but it's more of a matter of what leads up to the original movie's main goal. Needless to say it's one of the darker films, but it still has a bit of fun along the way.
This movie is being hyped as better than even Empire Strikes Back, and while I don't think I can it tops that, this is still very good film, and you owe it to yourself to give it a watch if you consider yourself a Star Wars fan in any regard. Like my summary says, it does start off a tad slow, but it quickly picks up speed once the main crew of rebels start assembling.
Grab yourself a copy, pop up some popcorn, and may the Force be with you.

Entertaining movie for fans of the game

For those wondering what the deal with this movie is, it's actually a prequel of sorts to the game Final Fantasy XV. However, it's done in a way that you can enjoy both this movie and the game independently from each other, though they complement each other and you will get more out of this if you play it.
By itself though, it's very entertaining. The story isn't going to blow you away, but the action and animation are great, with decent voice acting. It's basically a conspiracy thriller mixed with anime-ish fantasy action.
For fans of the Final Fantasy series, there's even a couple of cameos of creatures from previous FF games, and both of them are done in a great way.
If you're not a fan of the games, nor of over-the-top anime-style action, this probably won't change your mind, but if you are, I'd say give it a watch.

For those not familiar with the Disney Infinity series, it was a trio of games that scanned in specific figures to unlock the characters they portrayed in the games to play as. It has sadly now been cancelled, so anybody who wants to scoop up these figures before they're gone shouldn't wait too long.
This Obi-wan figure, like all of the Star Wars ones, is only usable in the 3.0 edition of the game; he's not playable in the previous two games. So make sure that you or your kids have this particular game before picking this up if you intend on playing as the classic Star Wars jedi.
As for the figure itself, it's got a nice, dynamic style to it that is reminiscent of the Clone Wars cartoon series, which meshes well with the angular style of the other Infinity characters. I also like how the lightsaber blades of his (and other jedi characters) weapon are a clear plastic, instead of being a solid chunk. I also would be wary of being too rough with this (though it is intended as a toy), as smaller parts are prone to breaking (I found this out upon dropping him as I opened the packaging. I had to glue back the hilt of Ben's lightsaber, which seems to be holding, but let my mistake be a lesson to all.)
All in all, if you're a collector of all things Star Wars, you could certainly do much worse than these.

Great figure for Marvel fans on a budget

For those not fully aware of how Disney Infinity works, it's a game that uses various figures that can be scanned into the game to play as the character they portray. The first game was purely Disney and Pixar, but the games would later add Disney's latest acquisitions, Marvel and Star Wars.
In the case of this Hulkbuster Iron Man figure, it only works in the third game, as indicated by the packaging. If you don't have Infinity 3.0, this figure will NOT work in it, so keep that in mind to save yourself some trouble.
That being said, this is an insanely detailed figure for the price (I found this on sale for $3, and it normally goes for $15), and has some serious heft to it. I don't even play the game, and I'm happy with it as a display piece.
Sadly, with the cancellation of the Infinity series, this figure will just get harder to find in stores. If you want one yourself, I suggest you don't wait too much longer.

Nice figure of everyone's favorite little snowman

Going into this review, I will admit that I've only played the first Disney Infinity game, which this figure came out long afterwards, so any gameplay aspects I just can't comment on.
That being said, I do know that he's usable in the third game, so make sure you or your kids have the "3.0" edition of the game (unless you're just wanting a figure to display). Certain levels are locked to particular characters, so Olaf here won't be able to go absolutely anywhere, but you can still have some fun with him in the game.
As for the figure itself, it's pretty nice. All of the Infinity figures have a nice, somewhat blocky style to them that reflects their in-game models. It sets them apart from other Disney merchandise, and if you're a collector on a budget, these are some of the least expensive ways to go about that.
Sadly, with this game series being cancelled, quantities of this figure will not be increasing, and eventually these will be gone completely from store shelves. I'd say you don't have too big of a rush, but if you're a Frozen fan, you might not want to wait too much longer to scoop up Olaf.

I'm sure most people know about the current craze of Nintendo's known as Amiibos. For those not in the know, these are figures based on various Nintendo properties (and then some), which can unlock various bonuses for games on the Nintendo Wii U and the New 3DS (they work on the standard 3DS, too, but you need to buy the accessory to do so), and will probably offer features on the upcoming "NX" (final name pending as of this review) console. They're not a requirement, but they offer some neat extras.
It's no different with this Link amiibo. You can use it to train a computer-controlled fighter in Super Smash Bros., unlock a new weapon in Hyrule Warriors, unlock him as a costume in Super Mario Maker, and restore items in The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD (and he'll probably unlock something in the upcoming Zelda: Breath of the Wild).
As for the figure itself, it's nicely detailed, and puts Link in a battle-ready dynamic pose. If there's any downside to this figure, it's that for whatever reason, instead of the standard clear piece of plastic used on many amiibos as extra support, it's a clear yellow color (which has given rise to the unfortunate nickname relating it to urine). It's not a complete loss, but it really does make you wonder why they just didn't stick to what worked before.
Anyway, if you're a Zelda or Nintendo fan, I say pick it up if you've got the cash to spare. It's one of the older series of Amiibo, so it won't be on shelves for much longer.
