Well built and high performance machine. Fairly lightweight and easy to use. The screen is well lit with great color definition. The hinges that allow the machine to convert from laptop to tablet mode are very sturdy and do not feel weak at all. The core I-5 processor performs very well and RAM comes stock with 8GB but able to upgrade to 16GB. Definitely recommend this system for students and small business owners. It is unclear from the specs I have seen whether the onboard USB C port supports charging and this was untested as I did not want to damage the system. Compared other manufacturers this Dell laptop had very minimal preloaded bloatware allowing the end user to spend less time cleaning up a brand new system.
Keyboard backlight is a weak point as it only has 2 brightness settings for backlighting the keys (low, high, off). Not a dealbreaker, but hard to see on low. Battery life was great and nice big screen without all the weight.

This router is the simplest setup I have ever done. I am tech-savvy, and have set up networks for personal use and small business customers and would definitely recommend to friends. The app makes setup a breeze and does not require the user to do much more than download the app itself and plug the router in for internet and power. Modifying the SSID is extremely simple with the app. This router gives me great coverage in my house. I have it located in a closet and that does not inhibit it’s transmission at all. I used to have dead spots in my ~1700 sq ft home but this router has eliminated them.

This USB to ethernet dongle delivers all you could hope for. It is simple to plug in and was immediately recognized by my MacBook without any additional drivers or setup. The connection speed is great and the link lights let you know it has connectivity. The cable is rugged and compact.

Ultra quiet and extremely effective air cleaner

While I do not have an air quality monitor, I can say that after just 24 hours of running this machine, the air in my home feels and smells much fresher. Our home was previously owned by someone who smoked no less than 72 cigarettes a day and did so in the house. It has been a great challenge to get the house odor free despite scrubbing the walls and ceiling, replacing all of the flooring, cleaning air ducts, replacing HVAC, using 25 gallons of kilz on the walls and multiple coats of paint. Even after all of that there has been a lingering funk near our garage and this air cleaner has been the perfect solution. I ran it on fan speed 2 which is 75 CFM for 48 hours and this did wonders for us. The higher speeds do get a little noisier, but allow for faster air exchange. At 300 CFM noise level is equivalent to sitting next to a window AC blower without the high pitch. The only thing that would make it better is if it has smart home capabilities, but this is not a dealbreaker. Looking forward to having friends and family over to see how this helps mitigate their pet allergies as we also have 2 cats. As an added bonus this has helped diminish litterbox odors without creating anxiety for my cats!

This massage tool is unique with its flexible head position to maximize reach. The case is very sturdy and sleek. The batteries are a breeze to charge and take about an hour or so each. Unlike most massage tools this is designed to float over your muscles rather than be applied with pressure unless you need deep pressure. The percussive action is highly effective in providing pain relief and loosening tense muscles. The attachments simply pop on and off as needed but are held in place by a metal button and won’t detach unless you want them to. I have found pain relief from bursitis in my knee with this tool and relief of some very stubborn lingering shoulder pain. It is similar in weight to other handheld massage tools but affords you multiple grip points. The Thumb tip does feel like a thumb and the wedge tip is perfect for getting into the shoulder blades. I suggest starting on the low speed first and getting used to the high speed, but you will find that a short amount of time goes a long way in relief. The app is easy to use, but does not interact with the massager. It serves as a how to guide.

This coffee maker is simple to set up, takes up an average amount of space and affords the convenience of a removable water tank for effortless filling. The 12-cup cycle takes about 12-15 minutes depending on whether you brew on classic or rich. The programming feature and clock do not require any consultation with the user manual and they even included a 1T coffee scoop with built in storage on the unit for your scoop. The lid on the carafe could be a little easier to place and remove, but it isn’t bad. The reusable gold filter rests in the filter holder. Small batch cycle works beautifully, but important to note this machine will brew based on the total amount of water in the tank regardless of whether small batch is selected or not, so be sure the water quantity in the tank matches your desired output.

This 2.1 soundbar is a good upgrade for the failing speakers on our TV. The sound bar and included wireless subwoofer paired automatically once they each had power. From a directional perspective, the sound quality was best when the subwoofer was placed closer to the soundbar rather than in a far corner. I connected the soundbar to my TV with the INCLUDED optical sound cable.
The sound bar has a cinema, standard, asc, and bass blast setting. I didn't find much difference between most of the settings with the exception of Cinema. That seemed to give the most well-rounded sound. To give the audio range a fair trial, I listened to various music by Halestorm, Evanescence, Disturbed, Pink, U2, Linkin Park, Don Dorsey (digitized Beethoven), and watched scenes from Jurassic Park, Outlander (focus on battle scenes), as well as a few sitcoms. The highs were a little tinny and even adjusting the bass up to +5 did not add any noticeable bass over setting 0.
The Bluetooth function of this soundbar is quite seamless. I use an iPhone and as soon as I enabled the Bluetooth on my phone and selected the LGSL4Y from available devices on my phone, audio immediately switched to streaming from my device. Streamed sound remained in sync and played well without any issues.
For an entry level sound bar this does OK with movies and music whether played natively from your TV or streamed via Bluetooth on Cinema mode. The other modes seem pointless and a bit useless. If you are looking for an average entry-level sound bar and don't expect AMAZING surround sound, this could be an OK option.

My need in a vacuum is something that is portable, easy to use and clean and lightweight. My primary application is cleaning up after my 2 cats who are constantly shedding and leaving their own little tumbleweeds around the house. For this review, I cleaned my living room which is vinyl flooring and focused much of my attention to vacuuming their cat tree where they spend much of their time.
Pros: For those looking for the perfect hybrid between a stick vacuum, canister vacuum, and a traditional upright, this might be a good solution. It weighs a little over 16lbs.
Noise level is about average and cord length is sufficient to get across a room.
Suction is excellent and it is fairly easy to push as an upright.
Comes with multiple accessories to get into crevices, collect pet hair and dust.

Cons: this vacuum includes 3 accessories for use with the canister vacuum function, but the included accessory holder can only hold 2 items

In canister mode, Canister gets heavy for those with impaired arm strength as I have and would llkely not be a good solution for seniors.

An external hard drive that is definitely plug & play with my Mac. It comes with USB B and USB C cables so most anyone should be able to use it. Definitely heats up as time passes on which is typical for a mechanical drive, but it does not get excessively hot. Quiet overall and good transfer times. The included discovery utilities are easy to install. One thing of note to me is the feature that allows back up of files in cloud storage and social media sites. While this could be a great feature, it did not find any data in my facebook profile to back up and I definitely have photos there. Also the cloud storage options that it offered to import did not include iCloud. This could be a contractual limitation with Apple, but as a full-time Mac user this would have been a nice offering since I do not have any content on other cloud services. The integration with Time Machine is seamless and I was able to initiate a backup within seconds. I really like that I can back up both to my Time Capsule device and this portable drive simultaneously. One minor annoyance with this is the WD MyCloud account. This device is not capable of MyCloud and therefore the user should not be prompted to log in. It would be useful to those who may have other WD backup devices that are compatible, but this one isn't per WD website.

Is this both Wi-Fi & electrical? I keep browsing reading the detail descriptions for one to say so
Yes it is WIFI capable via an app on your phone or tablet and you will need to know the password for your WIFI network to add it. It will require an electrical outlet in your home to plug into for power to cook and interface with the app. The WiFI feature allows it to communicate with your phone for remote monitoring as well as interactive recipes and cooking history, there are no other interactions served by WIFI on the device.
