LOVE IT! Great Portable Mouse

Truth be told, when the opportunity to get this little mouse was presented, I was in need of a good travel mouse so I took the chance and got it. In all honesty, I was not super-excited about the color, but hey, we live in an enlightened society so no biggie, I figured I’d make it work. Now that I have it, the color is actually not half bad. My wife and daughter LOVE the color, so ladies, this might be a winner for you.
Pre-amble out of the way, on receipt of this little unit, I was initially disappointed. I HATE clamshell packaging, but this was not bad at all. A couple simple cuts from the handy Spyderco belt knife and it was freed from its plastic coffin! It was literally 30 seconds to get it out.
Out of the package, set up was ridiculously easy. Pull the battery protect tab and you are good to go. Bluetooth hookup was a 30 second endeavor. I was less than one minute from out of package to full use.
When I first looked at the pictures, I was a little concerned… I was so used to the classic “hump-back” wireless mouse, that I was on the fence as to this smaller, lower design. After a couple days use, I can honestly say this is a superior design and I may never go back. It is incredibly low-profile yet ergonomic and comfortable. I am impressed.
As for features, here are my thoughts:
Pros:
+ Great ergonomics, very easy in the hand
+ Portability is awesome. Other portable mice present a “lump” in carry-on laptop bags, not this one
+ Connectivity is either Bluetooth or 2.4 with included USB adapter. I connected BT and its been rock solid. I have no doubt the 2.4 is excellent as well. The USB adapter hides under the magnetic top cover
+ Mouse wheel is pleasant to the touch, ergonomic, accurate and dead silent. You can use in a library without worry your clicks will disturb others

End of the day, this is a GREAT mouse. I looked for reason to complain and found none. I was kinda’ bummed. I hoped for something to complain about and found none.
I would whole-heartedly recommend to a friend. Great little product!

Good Unit With Two Shortcomings

This is a typical Motorola product; well designed, well built and performs to expectation. This is no different.
First take, it came well packaged. Set-up was relatively easy (but I do wish it was 802.11 wireless), everything worked straight out of the box. The handset itself feels well built and feels like you need not worry if it takes the occasional tumble off a chair or couch onto the hardwoods or tile. The screen is bright, design is simple and interface is intuitive. Phone call quality was great both on headset and on speaker. Alexa worked as expected and that set-up was relatively straight-forward as well.
I do have to give it a 3-star rating due to two glaring (in my eyes) flaws. First, the caller ID is delayed several seconds compared to my other CID hones. It “ramps up” for a solid 2 to 4 seconds before it displays the CID whereas all other phones I currently have and have had In the past display the CID almost instantaneously. Is that a deal breaker? No, but it is annoying and worth noting.
Second, I really wish it was able to be set up wirelessly instead of through the Ethernet cable. I don’t know about you, but even with my total available 10 ports of router, I am almost totally full. Again, deal breaker? No, but please note if you are full or nearing full on available physical ports, you may need to look at some choices or alternate solutions.
End of day, it’s a good phone and works great in that capacity but it does have room for improvement. In all, I would recommend to a friend, BUT I would caveat the two shortcomings.

You Can't Beat it, Especially For Price

I generally open my reviews with first impressions (IE packaging, quality and feel etcetera) but since this was a digital delivery, I must say all the 0's and 1's were delivered in seemingly perfect order. Download and setup was expectedly easy. Adobe has been doing this for a long time and knows what they are good at.
Download and install done, let's dig in...
Having had on-and-off experience with Premiere Pro series video editing over the years has led me to want an easier way to make quality videos. In the past, if you wanted to make standout videos, you had to spend a good part of the paycheck to get a high-end video editor. Then to learn how to effectively use that pricey software, you had to spend countless hours watching how-to videos on YouTube. The search for knowledge on how to create stunning videos was testimonial to ones patience and fortitude.
When I was given the opportunity to get Premiere Elements 2020, I was really looking forward to it. Premiere Elements 2020 is not targeted for the professional, but instead for the layman who doesn’t want to spend a bunch of money on initial investment, and then tons of time to learn editing skills. Premiere Elements 2020 is not only easy to use and straight forward, but also offers friendly guidance that makes it simple to add high end effects or FX to enhance your videos. Premiere Elements 2020 can automatically fix noisy videos, or you have the option to fix them by yourself like a pro. Elements offers simple and intuitive (at least to me) transitions, fades, green screens, color management, effects, audio, texts and many more. The creative effects and coloring are impressive and seemingly with no end. Some of the best FX you see today can be easily created with Premiere Elements 2020.
One of the things I really appreciated about Premiere Elements 2020 is it effortlessly caters to different levels of expertise. This allows anyone from a beginner (like my daughter, the aspiring 14 year old YouTuber) to an expert (like my business partner Bo B.) to a luddite like me make a plethora of amazing videos. With the guided edits, Elements will walk you through the process, and teaches you how to make the edits and apply effects so you may learn very easily how to become a competent video editor. If you want to wow your friends and family with amazing videos that you didn’t have to go to college to learn, Adobe Premiere Elements 2020 is it.
It takes some doing to get me to give a 5 star rating, but I honestly can not find a reason to give any less.

Loaded quickly, extracted and installed quickly. Having a 1 Gig fiber connection didn't hurt but everything loaded and installed without a hitch.
Once installed, it has a user friendly interface. Has some standard features like Antivirus and password protection. Also includes some nice extras like tune up, driver updater. I tested them and they work adequately.
It also includes VPN but I have not tested it since I have an Enterprise VPN that I use and trust impeccably. That said, I have no reason to believe that the VPN would not be adequate. The VPN offers a free 60 day trial and is $3.49 a moth after. Not a bad price, but there might be some other options for you.
In all, decent suite of software so far. It is one of a few would recommend to a friend.

Makes For A Great Secondary Air Fryer

This is our secondary air fryer and I gotta' tell you, I'm glad we got it.
We use our original air fryer 2 or 3 times a week, but air fryers are notoriously small for a family of 4 or more. We would always have to vook at least 2 batches of whatever we were cooking but with the second unit, that problem is eliminated.
I'm not sure what to say about it. It does exactly what it'e supposed to do, simple to use and easy to clean.
In all, I would recommend this to a friend.

Great Crock Pot. This a a large unit, especially our old one was a 5 quart. This is a digital control panel that also supports a digital timer. Very convenient.

A couple of years ago, I got my wife the Big Brother to this little guy and it has been great. So when the opportunity came up to get this version, I was curious to compare. In all, I am not disappointed.
CHarging was quick, pairing was simple and the sound was really good for a speaker this size. I really like the fact that it is water resistant since I have 2 teenagers who can have the memory span of gnats. If they leave it out and it gets rained on, I don't need to worry about it.
In all, a solid choice and I would recommend it ti friend.

Great Ruggedized Portable Speaker

This review will be unusually brief for me compared to most other reviews I have done in the past thanks to a couple broken fingers. That said, this is a great portable speaker.
We took it on a weekend camping trip and the battery lasted the whole time. It's quick to charge, simple to pair and sounds great. It's a nice camping speaker since it's water resistant and we all know how fast the weather can change, at least here in the mountains of Colorado.
Really no complaints and I would certainly recommend to a friend. Nice option for an active lifestyle.

Great Little Robot Vac

I had been curious about robot vacs for a while, but was on the fence on pulling the proverbial trigger. When I got the chance to get this little unit, I had to check it out. I gotta' tell, you I'm glad I did.
On arrival it was well packaged. Unpackig was standard fare. A couple slices with the handy Spyderco Paramilitary II knife and we are ready to unpack and assemble. At this point, my 17 year old son walked into the room and with the excitement of a tech-geek 17 year old, he took over. Within just a 3 or 4 short minutes, he had it all plugged in and ready to go.
We let it charge for about 3 hours and loaded to app. App set up was simple and straight-forward. We started to mess around with the little robot and I gotta tell you this little thing works great.
We have 1900 sq ft on our first floor with about 1000 sq ft being hardwood and tile. We also have 3 dogs... We have had it set for the last week to go off for an hour a day and set it up so it's limited to just the hardwood and tile. We are impressed with what a great job it does at keeping dog hair managed on the hard surfaces.
At the end of the hour, this little guy is smart enough to find its way home and dock onto the charger. I have to note, it has averaged docking with around 54% battery remaining. Impressive.
One important note, this is a robot so its collection bin is small, at least compared to a full size vac It does need emptied after each run, but that is a simple 30 second job. It also has a small filter that I would recommend being cleaned about once a week, but even that is less than a 2 minute job. Well worth the trade off for a fire-and-forget robot.
End of the day, cool little unit and its quite effective on hard surfaces. I can not comment on its efficacy on carpet but I would imagine it would certainly be suitable.
I have no problem recommending to a friend. Great little robot vac!

Great TV, Especially For The Price

OK, let me just open with the blanket statement that this really is an excellent TV. I have had 3 experiences recently with Hisense TV's and they went from very bad (55" H9+) to pretty dang solid (55" H8F) then to excellent with this 65" H9F. The latter two did a great deal in saving my view of Hisense and their overall reputation.
Lets start with the initial experience... It came well packaged, with four solid cardboard corners heavily shrink-wrapped around the factory box. A couple cuts from my handy Benchmade knife and I was able to get to the consumer package the TV left the factory with. Another couple of quick cuts and the top of the box was ready to have the TV removed.
One thing that I really like about this TV and the H8F is they both had plastic bags with "handles" on the top. Simply grab the "handles" on the bag and the TV was easily pulled out. Important note, I would highly recommend having a second person to help unpack and do the initial setup. One person could do it, but for the sake of assuring the welfare of your new TV, two is better. On that note, please remember it IS a big TV... It's 65 pounds or so with all it's packaging and without packaging, its approximately 36" x 57" and with the base of the stand, it's about 11"deep.
Setting the legs a was literally a one minute job. Two stands, four screws and one Phillips head screwdriver. Easy money. The other inclusions were the ubiquitous multi-language manuals, power chord, remote and batteries. Plugged it in and now lets see what happens when we power it on.
SW set up was incredibly easy with Android TV. Power on, answer a few questions, agree to set-up with Google and, boom, within two minutes your WiFI is ready as well as the basics to most of your apps (Netflix, Plex, Vudu etcetera). That was great. Super simple, fast and utterly intuitive.
The remote includes a microphone that supports Google Assistant. It works as expected. I'm not going into the multitude of options and power of Google Assistant, but suffice it to say it works well.
OK, we are ready to to see this unit in action. First test was my wife's favorite show, "I'm Sorry" on Netflix app built into TV. The picture was fantastic, especially for a TV at this price. The sound was also impressive (for what it's worth) on a flat panel, That said, I believe most people installing a TV this size and video quality will bypass the stock TV speakers and instead use a soundbar/sub combo or a stand alone home theater sound system, so I won't dwell too much on sound, but it is pretty good.
Next I watched the Netflix series "Our Planet" from the Dish Network receiver in 4K UHD with HDR. The picture was absolutely stunning. It was easily on par with my other 65" 4K UHD TV that cost several hundred dollars more. Very impressive.
I'm not going to go into the specific specs because you can get them all over, but this does support HDR / HDR 10 and Dolby Vision. It also has a full and sightly above standard number of inputs / outputs for a decent upper mid-level TV. Impressive.
One item I will point out where this TV really shines is in it's field of view. With this TV, I can easily walk into the kitchen and from 30' + away and roughly 160 degrees in the daytime, the brightness and field of vision is excellent. Very impressive.

I'm not sure I understand the question. You should be able to plug the USB into your PC, turn your mouse to the "on" position and have it operate no problems.
