Great Dash-Cam, Better Radar Detector

The Escort MAXcam 360c Radar Detector and Dash Camera is a great camera; and an even better radar detector.
I am not going to touch on specs and instead focus on user experience. There are plenty of other great reviews on here that touch on specs, and you can always get tech specs from BB and Escort websites. Suffice it to say, the techs specs are great.
I have been using the Escort Max 360c MK II for the last several months and I am a huge fan. It has great range, great GPS and great smarts. The MAXcam 360c is essentially the same radar detector, but is coupled with a very good built in camera. The MAXCam is understandably larger and offers some nice features the MAX 360 does not offer. My favorite feature is the rotating bezel on the front of the MAXcam. You can use that to adjust settings, adjust volume and for quick set up. And while both units have radar direction indicators, I prefer the way the MAXcam has a smaller array of arrows in a more compact location. They both work relatively well, but I prefer the tighter array of arrows on the MAXcam.
The MAXcam is a little larger (see pics) but still small enough to be easily portable and not block any more view.
One of my favorite features of the Escort Max family is the the excellent magnetic mount and suction cup. It holds quite firmly to the windshield, has a very small footprint and securely holds the detector in place. It also makes it simple to mount/dismount in less than a second. Great feature.
OK, so after making it this far, you may be asking why I rated it a and not a 5? Simple answer. The app. The app is a decent tool, but not quite ready for prime-time, at least not with the MAXcam. It works well with the MAX360, but after several attmepts and doing the steps Escort tech support suggested, the app would not operate as expected. Long story, I could pair the MAXcam to the app as a "MAXcam", but the app would ALWAYS revert to the "MAX360". Odd. I deleted, re-installed several times on 3 phones and it always remained consistant. It simply would not "remember" it was a MAXcam and NOT a MAX360. As such, I could never use the camera feature in the app.
A deal breaker? No way! I judged it on what it was designed to do; record drives and detect radar.
In spite of the very minor app issue, this an excellent choice and I would whole-heartedly reccoment to a friend.

This TERK - Rechargeable Four-Device Backlit Universal Remote is an excellent choice for those in need. And I am one of those who has a need, so this worked out very well.
In my bedroom, I have a 55" LG television, a Definitive Technology 4.1-Channel Studio 3D Mini Soundbar, a Sony - UBP-X700/M Streaming 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray player and a cable controll box. While the cable remote can control all of them, it lacks some convenience feature buttons that each device remote offers. This remote offers some great options for those proprietary offerings.
Additionally, this remote control offers a backlight option. For me, that is great. I generally find myself watching TV in the dark at night. And while my cable remote is backlit, it's a dull, limited light. This TERK remote is backlit in bright, vibrant colors that while easy to see, is not overbearing.
Inside the box you'll find the remote control, a short USB cable charging cable, a quick start guide, a user guide and reference sheet for programming codes.
Programing the remote control was simple. I had all four devices going in just a few minutes. Very easy to program and use.
In all, this is a great little remote!

The Epson Pro EX11000 Wireless Laser Projector is a great choice for those in need. This truly a professional level projector.
It comes well packaged. On opening the box you will find the typical ubiquitous manual, a power chord, a remote control, two batteries, a carying case and the unit itself. The projector comes housed in the susbstantial case that offers a confident feeling protector for the projecter.

While this is a portable unit, it is on the larger side for modern projection units. That said, the case does offer protection and portability options
I will be using this for my monthly LEO meetings with my LEO team. Our office has large windows on three sides that offers a well lit room. While that is good for reading and review of hard documents, it is not ideal, even with blinds closed, for projecting onto the screen. On my initial test, this thing was a power-house and projected crisp, bright, colorful images even mid day when the sun was at it's brightest.
End of the day, I would reccomend this to a friend if they have the need.

Excellent Accessory For Sonos Era Speakers

If you have a Sonos Era speaker, the Sanus Stand for Sonos Era 100 or 300 speaker is an excellend companion.
Myfirst takeaway was the sheer weight... I had my hands full with another large package and I asked my 18 year old daughter if she could grab the other package. I noticed the look on her face as she went to pick it up and said how heavy it was. When we got it inside and I went to pick it up, I was honestly surprised with the weight. It's just a shade under 28 pounds. Nice start.
After opening the box, both units were fully assembled in 20 or so minutes. Althought I didn't use them, after assembling them I took tour of the included instructions. For a rare change the instructions were clear, clean and concise. Well done Sanus.
As for the aesthetics, these are nice looking and compliment to Sonos Era product line very well. I appreciate the inclusion of the rubber channel locks to keep the enclosed power cable handsomely tucked away.
Another nice inclusion is on the rear side where the extending rod meets the base, they included a handy "key storage" place for the key that's required to extend the shaft.
In all, an excellent choice.

The 360 Electrical - Revolve45, 4 Rotating Outlets/2 USB-A and 1 USB-C is very cool! It saved me from having two lap-top power chords going across the floor in my room and saved me from having two of my phones plugged into my bathroom.
Initial thoughts our of the box: It's an attractive device with a quality feel and look. Inside the box are the unit and supporting documents.
From a tech perspective, it offers fast charging with the 45 watt USB-A/C chargers, 4 rotating outlets and 2 LED's, one showing device is porotected and the other showing the device is grounded. Additionally it has what they call "Charge Sense Technology" that manages distribution of power throughout the device. As for the effacacy, I have no way of voiching for it, but given the overall quality so for, I have no reason to believe that it's not effective.
Another value add is that it comes with a limited lifetime warranty as well as an additional $100,000 connected equipment warranty.
End of the day, this is a great unit and if needed. I would reccomend to a friend.

Go anywhere and do anything with our thinnest and lightest XPS laptop. The new XPS 13 is packed with power in a seemingly weightless shell.

Excellent Highly Portable General Use Laptop

The title really sums it up... The Dell XPS 13 13.4" FHD+ Laptop is truly an excellent highly portable general use laptop. And I have to say, great sound for it's size as well!
I'm not going to too deep into the tech specs because you can look at the items specs on the BB site and know what you have. And I assume other reviewers will post their experience as well. That said, this machine comes with a capable 12th Gen Intel Evo i7 processor, a very impressive 32GB Memory, a decent Intel Iris Xe Graphics chip and a very nice (and fast) 1TB SSD.
Is this a robust gaming machine? Is this laptop you'd want to run advanced engineering software? No, but it's more than capable of being a great general-use laptop. It's excellent for using office applications, watching on-line streaming programs and using the Internet.
Two things that stuck out to me were the portablity of the laptop and to be honest, it's a beautiful laptop. The contrast between the keys and the shell is gorgeous. The backlit keyboard is bright without being overbearing. As for the portability, it's incredibly lightweight and even my wife and daughters smaller hands can easily handle it with one hand all over the house and up and down all staircases.
And one final note, as mentioned in my openeing paragraph, the sound is very good for a laptop of this size.
In all, an impressive unit and I would reccomend to a friendd.

Decent machine, for a decent price

The Dell - Inspiron 3020 Desktop - 13th Gen Intel Core i5 - 8GB Memory is exactly as expected... An entry level, solid workstation for most homework, web browsing, spreadsheets and other basic processing. While you may be able to limp along at 30 fps playing Far Cry 6, it's not going to be nearly as rewaring as playing on a true gamer. That said, this PC does other things well.
Tech spec stuff... The processer is Intel 13th Generation Core i5. As mentioned, it's a decent processor, not great but pretty good.
The hard drive is a relatively small at 515 gig, but it is an SSD. It can ramp up faster than standard disc drives. And while it is small, in today's world there is so much streaming and cloud based file managememnt that the 512 is not really that restrictive. And if you od need more strage, portable drives are a great, relatively cheap option.
For memory, it has 8 gig's. A few years ago, that would have been great. In todays world, it's near the minimum. It will allow you to multi-task most day-to-day items. And it's another easy upgrade if you shoose to.
The graphics card in an Intel UHD 730. Good, not great
The PC comes with the mini-tower, a wired mouse and a wired keyboard. I understand that its an entry level PC but thankfully I had several wireless peripherals. That was the first immediate upgrade I made.
End of the day, this is a decent choice for your basic desktop setup. A big time gamer or heavy process user wouldn't consider this PC, so that's not a knock. It's just what it is.
Decent machine, for a decent price.

In all, it's effective, easy to use, simple to operate.. but they asked for it to be tested for 9 minutes a day for 21 days. Like I said, it worked pretty well for my me, but you are a little bit limited when using it. No biggie, just warm up yourfavorite TV show and watch an episode while your using it. However, my wife liked the results so much, she ordered one for her to use!
As for use, yeah it's pretty simple... Brush your teeth, apply whitening solution, plug mouthpiece in, wait for roughtly 9 minutes, remove and rinse. Lather, rinse, repeat! Pretty simple.
In addition to "whiteing" teeth [which it does], it also is supposed to make sensitive teeth less impacted by sensitivity. As to whether or not that works, I can't make comment as my teeth are not particularly sensitive. But yes, it for sure whitens and won't break the bank! And it's cheper than the dentist!
End of the day, I have, and would reccomend to a friend!

Platinum Rugged Silicone Band for Apple Watch is an excellent choice. Let me start by saying that I am an Android but my wife, in addition to being married to me, is also married to the Apple eco-system. She LOVES her Apple world!
She is a semi-pro athlete and an avid cyclist. She has used a cloth strap for the last few months. In comparrison, both straps have there advantages, but with this one, it meets it's name. It is indeed a "rugged" band. It's certainly a good choice for use at the gym, in the yard, camping and most anything physical.
The minor down-sides {according to her} are really no fault of the band and more of her unique wrist. It can't be adjusted on the wrist as specifically as the nylon band which in infinately adjustable. A deal breaker? Absolutely not, just an observation. The other thing that is taking a little getting used to compared to nylon strap, is the end of the strap... It's easy for it to get occasionaly "caught" on things as compared to her other strap. Again, NOT an incrimination of this strap, just her observation.
End of the day, this is her preferred band for utdoors, sports an gym, but for an evening out, she can easily change it. I would reccomend to a friend!

The RevAir - Reverse-Air Hair Dryer is an excellent choice for those with curly hair! Well, in all honesty, it's an excellent choice for ANY hairstyle, but if you like to straighten without using a flat iron, this is hard to beat.
My wife's hair is naturally curly but depending on the day and activity, she has times when she prefers it straight. This device is an excellent choice for her.
The unit came well packaged and had a bit of a "luxury" type feel. From unboxing to use was just a few minutes. The dryer feels well-built and of solid quality.
The use at first felt "counter-intuitive" as it sucks your hair in instead of the classic blow dryer, but once you have used it a couple times, she said it felt natural.
According to her, it dries her hair faster than a conventional dryer and does much less damage as a classic dryer. Additionally, comparing this to a combo of blow dryer and iron to straighten it, this keeps hair considerably healthier.
A couple of things to note... It is relatively heavy and is probably not particularly well suited to travel. The unit is large and does take a larger footprint than classic dryers. The unit also gets on the warm side, but even with these notes it is an excellent choice!
End of the day, she would easily recommend this to a friend!

I'm not sure I understand the question. You should be able to plug the USB into your PC, turn your mouse to the "on" position and have it operate no problems.
