Strange, but very cool!

Strange, but very cool indeed! Especially the cartoon "Switchin' Kitten" with Tom coming across that spooky castle on a dark, rainy night --- all those weird animals whose voices have been 'switched' by a lunatic of a scientist -- who has a truly awesome laugh
Woman and her husband invent 'The Tall Man' to save abused kids, kidnapping them from abusive households. A few exciting scenes, featuring vicious dog attacks - actually kind of hard to watch, even for strong stomachs!!!!! VERY VERY dragged out, dull as can be, ultimately STUPID. At 100 minutes until the credits start, this feels like 3 hours long. You may find yourself ff>> through MOST of this yawner.....
What's great about it: A few exciting scenes, featuring vicious dog attacks
What's not so great: VERY dragged out, dull as can be, ultimately STUPID

This is one of those films where you're kind of into it for a while and then it starts to get tedious 2/3 into the film - THE QUESTION IS: Is the DEVIL CREATURE lurking in the wood a delusion of Stephen Moyer's apparent rabies incurred from the family dog, or is REAL and the family better start listening to him before it's too late.....?
What's great about it: some creepy moments
What's not so great: gets bogged down / boring 2/3 into it
The paperboy is troubling our heroine. Instead of anyone buying a gun, they continue to call the police who are completely inept. These characters deserve what they get and it's a shame that some minor adjustments couldn't have been made to make this a more bearable thriller. Watch out for the 'triple' twist ending - you'll find out what I mean.......
What's great about it: at times is almost a creepy thriller
What's not so great: convoluted, silly, contrived, implausible, etc.
If you're a fan of Hayley Mills from THE PARENT TRAP you should check this out! Very nostalgic, old-fashioned fun, with lots of sing-alongs at the piano.
Also, be absolutely SURE to check out HAYLEY MILLS in THAT DARN CAT from 1965! Awesome fun. Ditch the 1996 version with Christina Ricci though.
What's great about it: Very Nostalgic
What's not so great: Basically just a feel-good fluffy film - but nice
Two guys and a girl trapped inside an atm machine.

Anyone who watches this is going to feel like they were cheated because the ending offers no explanation, and what little hints are given point to complete implausibility. Much of the film is dull as well, and the characters make such idiotic choices that it is very hard to even sympathize with any of them. Suggestion: don't waste your time. Choose from any other films out there, or better yet - spend an hour and 20 minutes at an atm machine of your choice - would be time better served.
What's great about it: Makes us believe it might have an exciting ending
What's not so great: The ending is NOTHING. With no explanations... a let-down
Pretty low-key scares since this seems like it was made for TV. But if like a good ghost story, you really should check this one out in time for the Halloween season, or anytime you like! The ending still leaves you hanging, in a way... but overall this is a pretty good time-killer...
What's great about it: pretty good ghost story
What's not so great: not too original; plays like a standard made-for-Tv film
