Entertaining...

This was a fun movie to watch. I just recently even discovered the Dead Space universe, but I love it. This movie explained a few things that I was wondering about after playing the game. It was sad to see the main lady die because she was such a strong character. If you are a fan of Dead Space, this is a must buy!

Timeless music, and Classic artist
on March 18, 2010

There are some artists whose music are timeless. Their music transcends generations, and is listened to years and years after it is released. Jackie Wilson is one of those artists. The oldest track on this album is from 1957 and the newest is from 1968. It is 2010, and just listening to this album gives me a feeling of the music sound then. All of his hits are here. Lonely Teardrops is my favorite. Higher and Higher, To Be Loved and Doggin' Around are also beautiful songs. His voice really brought life to the tracks. He had a beautiful voice. Jackie Wilson was a top artist whose life, and career were cut too short. If you love classic music, you can not afford to miss out on this album.

A striking, memorable story of love...

I am not sure why this movie did not get more recegnition when it was released. I had not even heard about it until it came out on DVD. This is definitely a movie to add to your collection. If you love sad love stories, this is the movie for you. I have never read the book, but judging by the quality of the movie it has done the book a service. The story is sweeping, and involving. You will feel sad when the characters do, and so forth. The acting is top notch, especially from James McAvoy and Keira Knightley. It is the best acting that I have seen from him, and she plays her role perfectly. The supporting cast is memorable as well. The camera pans are breathtaking at instances, and deliver a sense of scale. If you want a move that tugs at your heart buy Atonement.
What's great about it: Acting, Writing, Adaption

EPIC is an understatement...

This is by far the best action game that I have played. The graphics are breathtaking as has been the case on the PS3 lately(FFXIII, U2). The storyline is straight forward, yet explores the past two games, as well as bring about new revalations. The ending was the only hiccup. It dragged on a bit, and was kind of abrupt an ending for this famous character. That is minor though. The combat is the best yet in the series. Every weapon is fun to use, and has diferent effects and magic. For the first time in all 3 of the games, I found myself not primarily used the Blades. The boss battles are too EPIC for words, so I will just say that you will enjoy them. My only complaint is the length. I beat it today after picking it up yesterday, and I play for about two hours at a time. It is about 9 to 12 hours depending on your skill level. I beat it in nine. There are multiple difficulties, and new modes unlocked once you beat it so there is replay value there. That does not include the EPIC campaign. While it is on the short side, you would be hard pressed not to fire it up again, and do it all over. It is fun. I hope that I helped.

In top 3 FF's in my opinion...

I am an avid fan of Final Fantasy. I have played VII, VIII, XI, X, X-II, XII, and now XIII. I am about 18 hours in, and am in love with this game. As I mentioned earlier, I am very familiar with the series. I say that because I have heard a lot about veteran FF players complaining about this entry, and I am here to give my insight. Square has taken a lot of liberties to cater to new fans of the series. The thing is, that has not changed the fact that this game is fun. The battle system is exhilirating, and gives you a feeling of accomplishment once you have mastered it. You will need to as some enemies will truly test you. I understand the change to control one character. The pace is so fast, there is no way that you could control three characters. The graphics are in the best of this console generation. I sometimes could not tell the difference between the in game, and CG graphics. They sometimes look like real people. I am tired of hearing of this linearity thing. This was for the sake of story. This is possibly the darkest entry yet in the franchise. The main characters all have stong, individual personalities. This makes them seem more human, and relatable. I do not see why people would need to spend time exploring areas, and meeting NPC'S that have no effect on the story or gameplay. I do agree with the grunting, and gasping thing. That is fine. It is a Japanese game after all. :-) The one minor complaint would be the story is hard to comprehend at times. That is also classic FF, believe it or not. It will all make sense over the course of the game. This is a must buy game if you are a fan, or new to the series. You will not regret this purchase. I hope that helped with your decision. :-)

Fun with friends, Will get old playing alone

This game is a great example of what taking a chance on an idea can bring. At first glance, it will turn off most gamers, but it it worth playing. It will challenge you like few games will. Fast reflexes are needed. The level creation tool is neat, and essentially gives the game an infinite length. The gameplay is fun, and fresh. It is only best realized though when playing with friends. Single player is fun, but your interest will eventually wade to other games. Buy this game, and make sure to enjoy it with friends.
What's great about it: Cutesy graphics, Gameplay
What's not so great: Gets boring if playing single player

The best album of 2007 in my opinion...

This is far and away the best album by Paramore being 2nd of their 3. Every artist has a defining album that they will never be able to top. This is that album for them. The album saw 4 singles released from it which shows how populuar it was. Hallelujah is one of the best arranged, and produced songs that I have ever heard. Hayley's voice is so beautiful. Misery Business is catchy, and will cause you to sing along every time. Even people who were not fans of the genre had heard, and liked Misery Business. That's What You Get, and Crush Crush Crush are catchy as well. The album is so good that any track could have been released as a single, and would have been successful. The album also went platinum. That may not seem like a big deal, but one million is a big number. For them to be relatively unknown before this album, that is a huge accomplishment. Finally the last track is titled Born For This. It sums up their carrer, I think. They were born to make great music, and they are just getting started. BUY THIS ALBUM!!!

A gret movie

I very much enoyed this movie. The plot was clever, and it had a couple moments that made me jump, and cringe. The acting was good despite a few hiccups. Jamie Foxx could have done better, but he could have done worse. His Academy Award does not lie. Gerard Butler was actually good as a maniacal guy. He just needs to learn to mask his accent better. Besides those things this is a movie worth watching, and adding to your collection.
What's great about it: Clever plot, Tense, and unexpected moments
What's not so great: Acting, or directing hiccups

A 5 star quality game...

This is a great game, and a breath of fresh air. First off the graphics, and facial animations are some of the best seen to date. The storyline is paced perfectly, and actually kept me guessing till the reveal. The interactions among characters are most times believable, and nicely animated. The gameplay is very fun. The QTE's are placed perfectly, and the sequences are adrenaline pumped. I am in love with the mature theme. I have to agree with some others reviewers, and say that most games nowadays are mindless shooters or half done. It is nice to see a game with this much attention to strory, and gameplay. The length is nice as well, and there are lots of ways for scenes to go and choices to make. Multiple playthroughs are a must. Buy this game!

Warranty on the xbox360

I bought the xbox360 elite for 399.99 when it frist came out and also got a warranty with it for 59.99 for two years. My question is if i return xbox360 due to malfuction would i get the same one or can i get the slim xbox snice i bought it for 399.99 at the time.
I believe that it would have to be sent to Microsoft, and they will either fix your system, or send you the same model. They will not send you a Slim model though.

New Xbox

Is the new Xbox 360 with the 250gb hard drive the new "Elite" model? vs the old 120gb model and can you still buy the 120gb Elite brand new?
They are getting rid of the Elite model, and since the Elite is the same price as the 250 slim the slim model is a better buy. To my knowledge the Elite may be discontinued.

Can you use the hard drive from the old 360 with the new slimmer 360?

You can not. Being that the system is redesigned, the hard drive will no longer fit the new model. You will have to buy a transfer kit to transfer your data.

199.99 more...???

hello my question is how much is the total price of a xbox360? and how much are the taxes that I add? to one of 199.99 I would stay in?
I believe with taxes, it will come out to about $221. That is just an estimate, but it will in that range. The tax on $100 is always around $10.

can you trade in a ps2 and get a xbox 360 ?

Being that the PS2 is a much older system, I doubt it. You can trade the system in towards the purchase of a 360, but it will not be much. You could always add games that you no longer want as well to drive down the price.

Does the PS3 play PS1 and PS2 games?

I believe that the older 20GB, and 60GB models play PS2 games. Those have been discontinued for some time now, so unless you can find one second hand it is best to buy a PS2 to play PS2 games. The Slim models do not play PS2 games regardless of the GB's. All models play PS1 games though.

Which console system ?

I have an Xbox 360 console (120GB hard drive/ 512 mb memory unit) that no longer works. I am very interested in the new console with kinect. Are the games and controllers I currently have as well as all of the Rock Band components compatible with this new console? A co-worker offered to sell me his new, still in the box Xbox 360 250GB Limited Edition Halo: Reach Bundle. The price is good, but will I be longing for more in the future? When the console worked, we played Xbox games and Rock Band all the time. Any info or advice to help me decide?
Everything should be compatible. The only thing that will not be is the hard rive as they are a different design now if you buy a Slim model. There is a transfer kit, to transfer your files. I could be wrong but I believe with an older console, you will need to have an adapter to use Kinect with them. I own an Elite, and am not currently interested in Kinect, but a Kinect bundle might be the best solution.
