just when you thought it was over

just when you thought it was over and under control, the virus comes back all becuase of human emotions... this is definatly a good movie, check out 28 days later first then get this one. great stories that take a more realistic approach to horror about zombies. not only do you need to worry about zombies, but other people as well. great movies to add to your zombie collection.
What's great about it: more to the saga
What's not so great: nothing

Danny Boyle's hit suspense film 28 Days Later comes to DVD with a standard full-frame transfer that fails to preserve the original theatrical aspect ratio. The transfer does a fabulous job of capturing the often gritty, yet occasionally lovely digital photography that helped earn the film its well-deserved audience. The English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1, while Spanish and French soundtracks have been recorded in Dolby Digital Surround. English and Spanish subtitles are accessible. Supplemental materials include an entertaining commentary track recorded by Boyle and screenwriter Alex Garland. The two had previously collaborated on The Beach, and they have an easy rapport with each other. Three alternative endings are offered, along with commentary explaining why those endings were discarded. One of these is a close to 15-minute sequence that utilizes storyboards and an old script read by Garland and Boyle in order to show how the film's third act might have changed. These endings will be familiar to anyone. There are half a dozen deleted scenes with optional commentary, a close to 30-minute making-of featurette, trailers, a still photo gallery, and a music video. This is a fine release for what it is, but the same extras are available on a different disc that also offers a widescreen transfer of the film. That version is preferable to this one.

i love this movie alot more than the other zombie movies due to its gritty take on surviving and also the threat of other humans as well as the zombies. i enjoyed the story bettter than resident evils odd stories that seem spit out with no thought behind them. the 28 days later, and 28 weeks later are both good and i personally enjoy watching them. if you are a fan of zombie movies it is agreat addition to your collection.

i love this version of the origional, i didnt care to much for the origional movie but the remake is more action pakced. it focuses more on micheal as a child and a bout halfway through switches to him as an adult. it does cover some of why he was messed up as a kid.
the making of featurette was neat to watch and is great for collectors or fans of the series. great movie and worth purchasing.
What's great about it: more back story, making of was neat to watch

i loved this movie compared to the older version. in my opinion the remake was better and the action was a little more brutal in the remake to make up for todays "lifestyle". the movie isnt really gorey but does focuse more on backstory of why micheal was a messed up kid, about half way through it goes to teh adult stage ( i think a little more than halfway through to be honest). all in all a great remake, looking forward to the sequel.
What's great about it: action and more back story

i really enjoyed this movie alot more than the origional holloween. the remake focuses on micheal as a child and how he became the way he did. then story then shifts midway to him as the adult shatner masked killer. i like the action alot more than the origional though the story wasnt totally butchered in the process. i thought it was great and bought the movie after i rented it.
What's great about it: focuses on how and why micheal became a killer

i personally like the instrumental music from movies like this and games such as the final fantasy series. it is wonderfully played out and if you have watched the movie, you can play the movie in your head while listening to the music if you have seen it alot like it have. the music incorporates bag pipes and other instraments and plays them wonderfully well. great buy.
What's great about it: soft music is relaxing

this is great story involving a regular man named william wallace who basically starts and uprising and fights for freedom of his country after a trajic event takes place. the movie is an excellent story, though wallace is romanticised compared to the true story. in real life he was more barbaric, but the nature of the character in the movie isnt to but it helps you to relate to the main character better. the music is good and i enjoyed it, i actually bought the soundtrack but i enjoy music from final fantasy as well. the story is great, though it can be graphic during some fight scenes it is an excellent purchase.
What's great about it: story is great

A small army of Spartan soldiers go against all odds in taking on the formidable Persian army in this gripping cinematic rendering of the Battle of Thermopylae -- arriving on DVD from 20th Century Fox. The film is presented in 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen, so viewers won't miss a minute of the epic battle as the action rages with audio rendered in closed-captioned English Dolby Digital Stereo and Mono, and alternate Spanish Dolby Digital Mono with optional English and Spanish subtitles.

good but not as good as 300

i loved 300 and i saw this movie not to long after i saw 300. it is not as gory as 300. the story is great over all and for its age it is a good movie. i enjoyed it but i prefer newer movies over old movies. if you dont know the story of 300, it is basically a historical event in which 300 soldiers held of a massive army from invasion. i wont give to much detail but it is a good story. definatly worth watching.
What's great about it: great story
What's not so great: not as good as 300 but it is older so its to be expected

My shoulder button on my ds lite stopped working. Can you fix them?

My L and R buttons have stop working. Can bestbuy fix my ds lite and how much will it cost?
here is a link that tells how to fix them and what you will need, also if you call some game stores they may be able to repair them or maybe even bestbuy geeksquad can repair them for you, you would need to call the stores for pricing information though, hope this helps.

In this Sunday's paper , I looked in the Best Buy magazine and it said that you can trade in your ds lite for a dsi xl. Do I still have to pay money?

How much if I do? It said to go to www.bestbuy.com/gametradein but it never said anything about trading it in for a dsi xl.
best buy accepts trades on older electronics. the prices they give you are not that great. you will need to enter the information on the website to get a price, i assure you it wont be that much.

ps3 backward compatibility

is any of the ps3 models backward compatibility
only the older models, when ps3 first came out. i beleive wikipedia has a chart that lists what models were backwards compatable. the new 80 gigs are not, i beleive the older 40 and 60 gigs were the only models with backwards compatability.

ps3 price cut

is there going to be any kind of bundle or price cut coming this year that is less than $400?
as much as romors point to a price cut i highly doubt it will happen, especially since they have had rumors of a price cut for as long as i can remember. also since the whole activision threatening to pull out and the ceo of sony basically stating "how logical is it to lose money on every system sold" a price cut isnt happening any time soon.
if it makes the purchase any easier, when you consider an xbox 360 with a harddrive for 300, a wireless adapter for 99, and a charge kit for the controller for 20 and 60 for an xbox live membership...you are already looking at more than a ps3, and you get blue ray as well, which i dont really care about blue ray. also if you are willing to pay $40 as a one time fee, there is a download where you can do netflix on ps3 along with a few other movie sites. it is called play on and i personally use it and it was worth it.
sorry to say that a price cut isnt coming anytime soon, though i agree it would be nice, then i would buy a second ps3, but i highly doubt it will happen anytime soon.

Call of Duty 3 ?

I am looking for a wwii era war/first person shooter game this looks to be the best(Besides battlefield 1943) is it ? (I am really clueless)
call of duty world at war is a WW era game, it features countries like the US/japan (which you play the us), and russian/germain (which you play russia) campains. the online multiplayer is great. i havent played 1943 yet, so i wouldnt know what it is like though i know it is multiplayer only.
hope this answers your questions, and if you decide to purchase this game, look forward to seeing you on the field.

Play Station Store ?

I am looking in to getting a PS3, what is play station store and how does it work? (how do i put in money?)
the playstation store is where you can purchase themes, games, add-on content, rent/purchase movies and watch videos/tv shows. you have to either purchase a playstation network card in various amounts, or use a credit/debit card to add funds. you get the option to add funds when you add something to your cart and confirm the check out, then it will ask you to add funds.

can i buy trade in games from best buy that have been traded in buy customers ?

at this time i dont think best buy has started to sell used games yet. i know they have kiosk's in dallas and austin that purchase used games. it is something recent to my knowledge, and i work in bestbuys call center, so far there is no word on when they will sell the games to customers..or exactly what they are doing with the games so far for that matter. granted i am no one big in the company but asking around no one has heard anything as of yet.

corrupted data

my ps3 says the data is corrupted what can i do to fix it? i start games then they freeze help!!!
it sounds like you have either downloaded a bad file, turned the game off when it was saving, or got a virus from browsing the internet. my suggestion would be to wipe the hard drive and start over. Simply remove the hard drive from your PS3, and turn on the console. It should display a screen saying the hard drive will need to be reformatted. Then, plug the hard drive back into your PS3, and allow it to reformat. Your save game data will be erased but the system should work again, also here is a link to the same solution but worded differently. http://www.xomba.com/ps3_help_froze_up_ps3_hard_drive_reformat

In-camera cropping and rechargeable batteries?

I want to buy a digital camera $200 or less. it needs to have in-camera cropping and more than 7 megapixels. aslo, i would prefer for it to be 4x or more optical zoom and can record sound. i know its kind of specific, sorry about that
you are lucky. the perfect camera that fits that description is 1) commonly found in all best buy stores, 2) the highest rated camera on our website and highly rated on sites like cnet, and other sites. i did about 5 months of reasearch to find the perfect camera for my fiance, but i cant afford the price of a tv or car for a camera. the item i came up with is a canon PowerShot 10.0-Megapixel Digital ELPH Camera - Silver . the sku number for the item is 8800577. if you place those numbers in the search for box in bestbuys website it will take you straight to the item.
i personally bought this camera after researching and also wrote a review on it as well, it should be on the site under the item with in 72 hours. it is perfect for the price (200). you wont regret it and it has all the features you are looking for.
