Easy to program quirky to operate

I was hoping to be able to use this as my only remote in my family room, but it hasnt worked out that way yet; I have an Apple tv, a jbl 9.1 sound bar, and a lg 4k tv; trying to get it to just work effortlessly for a 3 things is a challenge..
finding the devices in the programming database was easy, but getting them to all work in unison was not.
you have to hit each "mode"/device first, THEN tell the remote what you want to do with it; that means volume up/down/channel change/input chage all requires multiple pushes on the remote, which frankly isnt very intuitive.
I guess its fine as a single device replacement, but to use it as a "smart" remote, or expect it to work effortlessly with a multi device setup is more than an inexpensive remote like this is capable of

The Soundcore Life Note 3S wireless earbuds have great sound for a pair of budget-priced true wireless earbuds. I’ve tried many different types of earbuds, and always have had problems getting a good fit since my right ear canal is crooked. There are no ear tips included in the box. They don’t actually go into your ear canals, but rest in the outer part of your ear, so they fit pretty much anyone. The steams make it easy to position them in the ears compared to something like Galaxy bean-style buds.
The Quick Start guide in the box that comes in the box is mostly pictures with minimal words in 10 different languages. The buds are very easy to pair to a phone, tablet or computer. Wireless charging is good. The buds themselves have some functionality by pressing on them for play, skip to the next song, and answering calls—but no volume control. I generally use a smart watch to control music volume anyway. The case is very compact, easy to put in a pocket or purse.
I was eager to test them with Microsoft TEAMS on a laptop. They paired easily to a laptop. Initially they were extremely loud; lowering the volume on the laptop didn’t help. I had to take one bud out and just use a single bud. On the next call, I realized I could set the master volume for TEAMS before I joined the call; then the call volume was fine. The call quality was excellent, and people on the call said they couldn’t tell that I was on ear buds. I would not want to use them for exercise because they didn’t feel totally secure in my ears. There is no noise cancelling, I could hear sounds around me. For budget priced set of earbuds, I was very impressed with the music sound quality. These are definitely keepers!

Two Seperate cooking chambers!

The concept of a dual basket air fryer took a long time to come to the market, and, this one is a good first attempt at this.
I havent made alot of different things in this yet, but it re heats well, and did a good job on french toast sticks, chicken strips, and a couple other breaded, frozen items.
Its nice to have 2 separate cooking chambers; unfortunately, they are really small, and, wont hold anything large in them..if you have large quantities, then its easy to just split them up and use both chambers, but you arent going to roast a pot roast or a whole chicken, pizza or anything large like that in either chamber. I see Bella has come out with a single 9 quart cooker, and, a 8 quart cooker with a divider in it, so if you need a large single cooking area, they have solutions for that too!
This unit is sort of loud when both chambers are on, and, you have to push pretty hard to "click" the trays into place, which is a good thing, just hopefully it stays like that long term.
If you are looking for a airfryer that easily allows you to cook to separate things and 2 different temps, this one fills the bill!

not what I expected

I've used and installed several video doorbells in my life and had high hopes for this new offering from Google, but was really let down after installing and using it.
Install was a breeze, as was the setup, but after that, it was alot of disappointments.
Here are some of the things I wasnt happy with:
-When I ask "OK Google" to show me the the doorbell, it tells me the doorbell doesnt support streaming to remote devices...huh?
-I get ZERO notifications of movement in front of the doorbell, even though they are enabled
-it seems like the doorbell is always in standby mode, and, even though I have no power saving features turned on, it still seems to not wake up
-the notifications, when someone actually rings the doorbell, are erratic; sometimes I get notified on my google mini, sometimes not,
-I never get notified on my nest hub MAX, even though I have that enabled too..
yes, I updated the firmware, I am a networking expert, and, having set up many of these types of devices, I am adept at troubleshooting, but this product feels like its not ready for primetime; disabling integration with the Nest app, and forcing you to use Google Home was a BIG mistake, in my opinion, and, after reading alot of reviews on line, I am not alone in that thinking..
For almost 200 dollars, you might want to look elsewhere

I was hoping this stand would both raise up the display so its easier to see, and also make it easy to turn the display around.
It did raise the display, but there is no swivel feature, so it doesnt do that..plus, the cradle needs to be about a inch wider, so it doesnt seem like your unit will fall out when placed inside.
Otherwise, this device does what it should do

nice Bose sound, connectivity needs work

I have owned many Bose products over the years, and always enjoy the sound that they bring; this new bluetooth speaker is no exception, featuring very nice sound, and easy portability.
My main issues were with connectivity, both with the device and its archaic usb mini connection,(most Bose products use USB-C, why not this one?) and not being unable to connect to the bose mobile app at all. It took awhile to get a "normal" bluetooth connection to my Iphone 11 pro, but, not matter what I did, it would NOT connect to the Bose Mobile app.
In spite of that, music did sound great when played through it, both inside and out, and I am sure a firmware update of 2 will help any connectivity issues. But putting Micro USB on a new, cutting edge product like this is not what I would expect from Bose.
Either way, if you love Bose sound, and like the portability that this speaker offers, then go for it, you wont be disappointed.

Excellent air cleaner, TERRIBLE app

so, this is another one of those new devices that is totally controlled by your phone; not sure why a small remote isnt included, especially at this price.
Anyways, very sleek and modern look, nice and quiet at low speeds, and does a good job at cleaning the air.
Now, trying to control this thing or use the programs on the mobile app are ridiculous..
First of all, its very difficult, almost impossible to set any sort of time on and time off with the app; you have to "center" the time exactly in the row to get it to register. Thats a pain, but with some practice, you can get it to work. Next, if you want to program it to go off at bedtime and on in the next morning, its a convoluted process you have to go through; instead of just turning it off at 10 pm, and on at 6am the next day, you have to program 2 separate actions for each day!
Then, when you try and use the "sleep" mode for bedtime, the cleaner kicks the fan up to its highest level, instead of its lowest level!!
I have been working with one of their reps, who has been very helpful, but this app should have never been released, and, a cheap remote would have made this extra hassle un necessary.
So, its great for its primary function of air cleaning, but horrible for how its operated remotely

great quality camera, needs more accessories

ive owned Arlo cameras before so I knew what to expect, but I didnt know how greatly improved the video quality would be on these units..wow, incredible clarity, nice color even in the dark at night, and the only minor complaints were that they only give your ONE charging cable, for 2 cameras, and only ONE magnetic mount, which I needed 2.
Also, even though you get 3 months of free cloud storage, the fees they charge after that are bothersome to many people.
Either way, the cameras provide great quality video, the batteries last longer than the older Arlo's did, now hopefully, they do something about not giving you as many accessories as you would expect at this price, and that cloud storage pricing has got to come down!
If those things dont bother you, then these are the cameras for you!

Better Options out there for sealing

I was really disappointed in this product; I have used other sealers in the past, and thought this would be a big upgrade, but it wasn't...cant use large rolls of plastic bag making material, since there is very little clearance for a larger roll to fit, no adapter to remove the air out of my existing sealing bags, and, it wasn't very easy to figure out..
I'm sticking to my current sealer, this one isnt very intuitive..

Good for Windows, Not so good for Mac/IOS

i was excited to setup and use this cool new keyboard; Cherry Keys, RGB, what else could you want?
How about Mac/IOS support? AFAIK, there are MILLIONS of folks using mac machines now a days; 3 in our house alone..

Its sad when a great keyboard like this, has wonderful features built into it, but ONLY work with a windows program installed on your pc; NO customizations for a Mac/IOS machine, just lighted keys, and nothing else...great keys, nice feel to it, and the cherry keys are wonderful, but if you want to use all the rgb/lighting/other nice features this keyboard has, and you have a Mac machine...look elsewhere..

Connect the router, and was unable to connect to the Internet. After a few tries, it did connect.
The next day, the connection was down. So, I replaced the router.
The second router would not connect. After substantial trial and error, I finally changed the MTU setting to 1300 from the default 1500. After doing some searching on the Internet, I did find that changing to 1400 would be adequate. The Internet connection is now up and running.
Oddly, the configuration on the "Basic" tab of the of the router's configuration is saying that the Internet is down.
Sheesh ... I hate being a beta tester for a released product!!! Particularly at the price point for this one.
That being said, the router's performance on the wired segment and the wireless segment does seem to be stable and performing as expected; and my expectations are high after doing some substantial research prior to purchasing this router..
Netgear support is abysmal. I attempted to call their support number, and after a number of rings the line went blank with no message #3 attempts#, The chat service took over a half an hour waiting in queue, and when finally supposedly connecting to a representative, the chat was dropped saying that there was no representative available #three attempts#. Opened a case via e-mail support, and received a stupid response with a link to a support web page and related links that I had already researched.
I've decided to keep the router for the time being as the performance, particularly on the wireless segment, it the best I've seen. I'm hoping Negear fixes the bugs in the firmware.
I also suspect, at least for the short term, a lot of users are going to return this product to the point of purchase because they won't be able to connect to the internet. I also suspect that Netgear is going to get a lot of support calls on this one, and people are going to be upset with the poor support received.

I've set up dozens of new routers in my life, so I thought this system would be a breeze to setup, but it was a long, drawn out process.
It seemed easy enough, using your cell phone, after downloading the linksys app, but, it took me numerous attempts with my Nexus 6 to get the modem and the first unit to sync; eventually, I used my pixel xl phone, and it finally made the connection. Be aware you may have to use the back button on your phone to go backwards in the setup menu, which i had to do to get the initial setup to complete.
After the first unit was setup, it was a breeze to get the other 2 units to connect to the network.
I've tested it running 2- 4kUHD streams and a 1080p movie wirelessly, with out a hitch, and at the same time got top speeds while running speed tests at the same time, so, having enough bandwidth was no issue; I have a total of 15 devices connected to my network, and they all connect as fast as they ever did with my previous top of the line router.
I have the units on 3 different floors in my house, and the speeds are the same on all 3 levels, so this system can easily handle a large house with multi floors.
This will definitely solve any wifi coverage issues you may have had in the past; just make sure you have at least an hour to work on setting up the 3 stations!

So, after dealing with issues with this setup for 7 days now, I must modify my review to say I do NOT recommend this product.
I have gone through 7 days or it working fine, then not working right, then speeds work as they should, then dropping off to almost zero, so there is something not quite right yet with this system.
Linksys support has been great, helping me with phone calls, emails, and follow up, but I just don't think the firmware for this product is worth of release status at this point.
My netgear A7200 nighthawk router, which is setup on the second floor office in my house, gives me consistent maximum speeds everywhere in my house, all the time, never wavering, but, the linksys velop system did not provide the consistency that the Netgear router gives me. I am on a fast Comcast connection, getting downloads of 180 megs and uploads of 25 megs everywhere in my house with the Netgear router, yet, the linksys velop would vary anywhere from 180 megs down, to 20 megs down, and, it didn't matter what time of day, or how many devices I had connected at the same time.
I really wanted to like the Linksys Velop, and, I assume, in the future, these issues will get ironed out. But, at this time, the lack of consistent, high speed download speed was not what I want/need in my home network routing setup.
I have gone through 7 days or it working fine, then not working right, then speeds work as they should, then dropping off to almost zero, so there is something not quite right yet with this system.
Linksys support has been great, helping me with phone calls, emails, and follow up, but I just don't think the firmware for this product is worth of release status at this point.
My netgear A7200 nighthawk router, which is setup on the second floor office in my house, gives me consistent maximum speeds everywhere in my house, all the time, never wavering, but, the linksys velop system did not provide the consistency that the Netgear router gives me. I am on a fast Comcast connection, getting downloads of 180 megs and uploads of 25 megs everywhere in my house with the Netgear router, yet, the linksys velop would vary anywhere from 180 megs down, to 20 megs down, and, it didn't matter what time of day, or how many devices I had connected at the same time.

Does it project the sound forward so that if put in a tv stand or console the sound is not negatively affected?
it should, although the "Atmos" channels, project sound upwards, so you may not get the Atmos channel sounding like you would if it was out in the open

I don’t need to have rear surrounds in my setup, if I leave the detachable speakers attached will the act as surrounds or front wides?
most likely they will act as surrounds, since you cant specify in the setup how you want them to decode..

not quite the bass punch as the higher priced sonos sound bars, and quite a bit more compact, but its also 300 bucks less..
