I've owned several Denon products over the years, as well as owning multiple sets of various brands of high end bluetooth earbuds, and never been disappointed in the quality and value of their products,and this continues that tradition.
Formerly known as the Nura True earbuds, Denon obviously purchased Nura and took an already great earbud and made it even better!
These buds have an unusual shape that might not be for everyone, but it comes with several tips and ear wings that allow you to find a perfect fit for your ears.
The Massimo sound tuning, coupled with great dynamic range, Spatial audio that actually sounds great, multi point pairing that works easily, and wireless charging case make this an all around great package, and a definite contender for best BT ear buds on the market!
Touch controls work perfectly every time, the ANC is very good, the pass through mode(they call it social mode) is decent, but not at the same level as the Airpods Pro, but there arent really any weak points to these buds, and if you are looking for a super premium set of earbuds, these would definitely fill the bill!

Needs better software

I've had a few robot vacuums, so I know how they should work, and I had very high expectations for this new omni X2, after reading the marketing info from the manufacturer; there are mixed reviews all over for this, so it might depend on if you get a good one or not
The unit I have has not been what I had hoped for; the initial mapping was horrible, and it took 3 attempts at a map to get one that even resembled my house.
The initial cleaning attempt was weak; the unit does a good job vacuuming and mopping, however its obstacle avoidance is not good; mine got caught in lots of power cords, and had to be released many times.
Also, I dont understand how this thing determines the routes that it takes in your house; it starts to clean in a straight line, then it stops, spins around for a few minutes, then heads off somewhere else randomly. It will start to clean a room, then it will stop, make some random spins and circles, move into a different area, clean it for a little bit, then go somewhere else randomly; it never just goes into a room and finishes it and moves onto another one.
I tried it just mopping and just vacuuming separately, which got it to stay in a room longer, but eventually, it would not finish that room completely, and just move into another area to clean or to just wander around aimlessly..
I've reset it twice, and, as I said, I have owned 3 other robot vacs and never had behavior like I see with this one.
If you check all the reviews, you will see that many people are experiencing the same behaviors, so buyer beware

lots of things to like about this Dash Cam

I've been wanting to get a dash cam for a very long time; I live in Arizona, and the average driver out here does about 20 mph OVER the limit always, NEVER uses turn signals, and we have a horrible accident rate as well, so getting a dash cam is a very smart thing out here, and, being a tech nut, I was thrilled to see that someone came out with a 4k/very communicative dash cam. I knew of Next bases high quality reputation, so once these was released, I was happy to get one..unfortunately, the rear window cam wasnt available initially, so I could only get the front cam.
Installation was done by Best buy, as I have bad arthritis in my hands and other neck issues, but I was impressed that it only took the installer about 10 minutes to get the whole job done..nice work, Best Buy!
The camera worked right out of the box, and I was immediately impressed with the high quality of the camera, and how easy it was to get around in the app.
I wasnt happy with the pricing for the subscription to get all the features its offers to work, plus, 2 of the main features I wanted, "guardian mode" and Roadwatch AI arent even available yet, so it remains to be seen how those 2 things actually work once released.
Their tech support has been great and responsive with some minor issues/questions I have had, and I am looking forward to those 2 "features" being released quickly; once they are, I will grab the rear window camera and add it to the system, as I feel its very important out here to get coverage on what goes on behind me.
Yes, this system is pricey, but it has several things that no other dash cam has at any price, so if you love tech, and want the latest and greatest features, this dash cam should be on your short list!

Nice basic power strip with some protection

you can never have too many power strips in your house now a days, and this one from best buy/Insignia fits the bill quite nicely. The power cord is rather short, but I usually keep these things as close to the wall as possible, so that wasnt a big deal for me.
Its nice that it has holes on the back for those who want to mount it on the wall or the baseboard directly, and, having a somewhat recessed power on and off switch help reduce the amount of times I accidentally shut the power off with my fat fingers!
We dont get alot of lightning storms here in Arizona, but its nice to know that devices plugged into this power strip with have some protection against getting zapped by lightning, if that were to ever happen.
this is perfect for connecting holiday lights and other xmas decorations around your house, and, even though its pretty in expensive, it has decent weight to it, and should be fine for use everywhere around your house.
it isnt the best setup for plugging in those large brick type power blocks, but for using with traditional plugs, it will be just fine!
Dont overpay for one of these things, this one will do the job just fine for a nice low price!

makes your echo dot portable

you need a 4th or 5th generation amazon echo dot for this to work, so I was interested to see how this would work, since I have both generations at home now. It comes in black and white, so I chose the black one, to match my 4th gen echo dot, and connected it and plugged it in to charge.
it has kind of an unusual way of connecting to and charging the echo dot, but once I looked at a couple of photos, it made more sense to me. Charged it for the recommended time, and then unplugged it and took it outside.
It worked exactly the same as the device works when plugged in, so its a nice way to have an assistant with you anywhere you go, it also works as an auxiliary speaker, via wifi or Bluetooth, so that's a nice thing to be able to do, if you don't own any other portable battery powered speakers.
The only downside is the lack of battery charging indicators on the front, so you could tell at a glance how much battery is left when you are finished using it, so you should get in the habit of plugging it in when done to keep it topped up.

Where have you been all my life??

for many of us, cutting up cardboard to get into the packages we buy, or, cutting down large boxes to recycle has always been troublesome; box cutters, razor blades, weird slicing tools, all of those things can help, but most are dangerous, and, as you get older and have arthritic fingers or hands, it gets painful after awhile
Enter the WORX Zip Snip Cordless electric scissors to the rescue!
I wiah this thing would have come across to me earlier, as it would have saved countless hours of painful cardboard box trimming, and, as an added bonus, it opens up those hard sealed plastic package that need a saw or hammer to open! cuts through that hard plastic like a hot knife through butter, and, has built in safety features that ensure that when used properly, you dont have to worry about hurting yourself.
It doesn't slice the tape off of boxes, so you still need some sort of blade like tool to slice the tape open, but after that, this guy will slice the box up into small pieces that fit nicely into your recycle can.
If you cut up lots of cardboard, or open alot of those horrible hard plastic packages, this tool will quickly become one of your favorites...Highly Recommended!

I was pleasantly surprised at the price and quality of this stylus for the newest fire tablet, and it usefullness has shined for me on a daily basis!
I am usually not a fan of pens for phones or tablet, since they tend to be very expensive and work erratically, but this one was just the opposite
nice price, its magnetic so it clips to the left side of the tablet, and even though its easy to knock off, its not too fragile, and, even though it does NOT charge while attached to the tablet, it runs on one triple A battery, so its easy to keep changed, and there is no extra weight involved with an on board battery.
You get an extra tip, and the tool to replace it, and it works well on my Amazon Fire Tablet, even after I have installed a glass screen protector on the tablet; I didnt have to use an "Amazon" branded one, I just used an extra 11 inch glass protector I had laying around from another tablet.
at this low price its a no brainer to grab this pen as part of the tablet purchase, you will be amazed at how handy it really is!

Decent case, works just ok

I was happy to see that there was a keyboard case available right away with this new tablet, but after using it for awhile, i might be looking for a better solution.
the case feels nice, as it has a tweed like backing on it, and you do not have to leave the keyboard attached to it at all times for it to have any function.
Problem is, if you just use the backing, and not the keyboard, it tends to shift around, and off the back of the tablet, so it was cumbersome using it that way, And, if you use the optional stylus, there isnt a pocket of slot to store the stylus in, that attaches magnetically to the side of the tablet, and it easily falls off when touched.
Also, there is no lighting of any sort on the keyboard part of the case, and, that makes it impossible to use in low light conditions. Plus, when the case/keyboard combo is attached, your tablet really doesnt have much, if any protection from dropping or banging into something.
Hopefully, there will be third party manufacturers releasing competitive products to this, but for 100 dollars, this wouldn't be my first choice

Nicer than I thought it would be!

Having owned other Fire tablets in the past, and not being really impressed by anything they did, my expectations were not that high for how this latest tablet would be.
I was wrong!
This tablet was a pleasant surprise, both in form and in function.
It comes with 64 gigs of ram, wifi 6 on board, and even has a expandable micro sd card slot, something very few other tablets, or cell phones for that matter come with any more. It even included a sim ejector tool for opening up the san disk card slot..nice touch!
It boots up quickly, and there was a software update waiting to be downloaded and installed. After upgrading, it asked me if I wanted to restore any or all of my previous Amazon programs and such, and also, automatically populated my Kindle library, which was nice!
Eleven inches is a nice size for reading/video watching, etc, and it was nice watching netflix hulu, and you tube videos.
Because this is an Amazon product, you are bombarded with Amazon Ads and offers, and its a bit difficult to download things that arent native to the Amazon eco system
All in all, very good value compared to the competition, and, if you are looking for a above average tablet, at a below average price, this tablet would serve you well!

Nice soundbar, a few changes would be nice

I have owned JBL sound bars before, my most recent one was the BAR 900, so I knew what I should expect with this new updated model, and it didnt fail to deliver!
The setup was pretty simple, and, the upgraded side/rear speakers were a welcome improvement to an already nice dolby atmos setup.
There are a few other improvements, including a better remote, a more powerful amp within the unit, and the sound was somewhat clearer and more forward than the previous model. I hooked it up to a 65 inch LG OLED tv, and tried to get it working, but it was a bit problematic to get the sound working the way I wanted it to.
I was hooking it up to an Fire TV cube, and, tried using the HDMI input that is on the newest firestick cube, but I couldnt get audio out of it. I then changed the hookup so that it connected to the TV's CEC input and it still didnt produce sound..what I didnt realize that since you can monitor more than once source, including Bluetooth, you have to select your desired output location, which for me was TV on the remote, and after that, everything worked fine.
The sound is loud and clear, the larger, upgraded subwoofer really filled out the low end, and, the dolby atmos signal was nice and pronounced and adjustable via the remote.
This system is a bit pricey, but, similar competitors are priced about the same or a little more, so you cant go wrong choosing this soundbar, just make sure you read all the setup instructions, so you dont have the same kind of confusion I had initially.

Connect the router, and was unable to connect to the Internet. After a few tries, it did connect.
The next day, the connection was down. So, I replaced the router.
The second router would not connect. After substantial trial and error, I finally changed the MTU setting to 1300 from the default 1500. After doing some searching on the Internet, I did find that changing to 1400 would be adequate. The Internet connection is now up and running.
Oddly, the configuration on the "Basic" tab of the of the router's configuration is saying that the Internet is down.
Sheesh ... I hate being a beta tester for a released product!!! Particularly at the price point for this one.
That being said, the router's performance on the wired segment and the wireless segment does seem to be stable and performing as expected; and my expectations are high after doing some substantial research prior to purchasing this router..
Netgear support is abysmal. I attempted to call their support number, and after a number of rings the line went blank with no message #3 attempts#, The chat service took over a half an hour waiting in queue, and when finally supposedly connecting to a representative, the chat was dropped saying that there was no representative available #three attempts#. Opened a case via e-mail support, and received a stupid response with a link to a support web page and related links that I had already researched.
I've decided to keep the router for the time being as the performance, particularly on the wireless segment, it the best I've seen. I'm hoping Negear fixes the bugs in the firmware.
I also suspect, at least for the short term, a lot of users are going to return this product to the point of purchase because they won't be able to connect to the internet. I also suspect that Netgear is going to get a lot of support calls on this one, and people are going to be upset with the poor support received.

I've set up dozens of new routers in my life, so I thought this system would be a breeze to setup, but it was a long, drawn out process.
It seemed easy enough, using your cell phone, after downloading the linksys app, but, it took me numerous attempts with my Nexus 6 to get the modem and the first unit to sync; eventually, I used my pixel xl phone, and it finally made the connection. Be aware you may have to use the back button on your phone to go backwards in the setup menu, which i had to do to get the initial setup to complete.
After the first unit was setup, it was a breeze to get the other 2 units to connect to the network.
I've tested it running 2- 4kUHD streams and a 1080p movie wirelessly, with out a hitch, and at the same time got top speeds while running speed tests at the same time, so, having enough bandwidth was no issue; I have a total of 15 devices connected to my network, and they all connect as fast as they ever did with my previous top of the line router.
I have the units on 3 different floors in my house, and the speeds are the same on all 3 levels, so this system can easily handle a large house with multi floors.
This will definitely solve any wifi coverage issues you may have had in the past; just make sure you have at least an hour to work on setting up the 3 stations!

So, after dealing with issues with this setup for 7 days now, I must modify my review to say I do NOT recommend this product.
I have gone through 7 days or it working fine, then not working right, then speeds work as they should, then dropping off to almost zero, so there is something not quite right yet with this system.
Linksys support has been great, helping me with phone calls, emails, and follow up, but I just don't think the firmware for this product is worth of release status at this point.
My netgear A7200 nighthawk router, which is setup on the second floor office in my house, gives me consistent maximum speeds everywhere in my house, all the time, never wavering, but, the linksys velop system did not provide the consistency that the Netgear router gives me. I am on a fast Comcast connection, getting downloads of 180 megs and uploads of 25 megs everywhere in my house with the Netgear router, yet, the linksys velop would vary anywhere from 180 megs down, to 20 megs down, and, it didn't matter what time of day, or how many devices I had connected at the same time.
I really wanted to like the Linksys Velop, and, I assume, in the future, these issues will get ironed out. But, at this time, the lack of consistent, high speed download speed was not what I want/need in my home network routing setup.

Does it project the sound forward so that if put in a tv stand or console the sound is not negatively affected?
it should, although the "Atmos" channels, project sound upwards, so you may not get the Atmos channel sounding like you would if it was out in the open

I don’t need to have rear surrounds in my setup, if I leave the detachable speakers attached will the act as surrounds or front wides?
most likely they will act as surrounds, since you cant specify in the setup how you want them to decode..

not quite the bass punch as the higher priced sonos sound bars, and quite a bit more compact, but its also 300 bucks less..
