Great Projector, Easy setup!

THE BREAKDOWN:
Great system that has awesome picture and has plenty of settings for fine tuning adjustments.
The packaging was very well done and like opening high end merchandise. You may want to have a HDMI cord handy if that is the method you will be using to send the video. You can also connect a USB/HDMI stick such as a Fire Stick or whatever brand you like to the projector.
The instructions for setup were very clear and easy to understand. After turning it on I had it up and running in just a matter of minutes. I found the system to be very easy to navigate to get the desired results.
The projector itself was a little heavier and bulkier than I anticipated. I personally find this to be a good feature as it feels like it is built to last. Some of the features that the projector has are: plus or minus 30 degree keystone projection, 2900 lumens of color and white brightness, lens shift( which is very useful when setting up), has 3840 X 2160 4K resolution(2 x 1920 x1080), dual HDMI inputs, from 40.2”-300” viewing screen size and manual zoom just to name few of the features.
The performance was excellent!! I wasn’t really sold on the 4K experience. Was the image clear and nice, yes it was but to say it was a 4K experience for me would be a huge stretch. It was definitely a nice clear picture and was a true joy to watch. I even played some video games and had the same beautiful picture experience. One thing to note is that I couldn’t really tell if it was in HDR mode unless I went into the settings under the “auto detected” setting to see if HDR was highlighted or SDR. One final note on the picture quality would be the black are definitely not “true” blacks but more like lack of black. Don’t get me wrong this projector does have an amazing picture but I’m comparing to my other 4K UHD devices that I own.
One thing I wanted to mention was the remote. The remote is the real deal with all the features that a real remote should have. Most remotes these days are small and have limited buttons and capabilities. This remote is not limiting at all. It is old school and I found it quite frankly to be refreshing and handy to use.
The last two things I want to mention are 3D support and bluetooth. This projector does mention that it supports 3D but unfortunately I was not able to test this myself as I do not own any 3D active glasses. The last thing I wanted to mention was the bluetooth capabilities. I absolutely loved this feature as it reduced my many cords I need to use this. I was able to connect my bluetooth speaker to the projector in just a few seconds and it worked wonderfully. The sound was crisp and clear.

Overall, I feel that this product is really good and has a great fit and finish. I like all the features, and I feel that there is definitely some room for improvement in the 4K and “true” blacks department. It was truly easy to setup and get running. I would definitely recommend this to a friend if they are in the market for something like this.

Great Waterproof tailgating speaker

Great system for tailgating and pool parties. I actually have another ION bluetooth speaker that I purchased a few years ago. For me this one is far superior in sound and sturdiness.
The packaging was very well done and like opening high end merchandise. In the box was everything needed to get this product up and running. It had the speaker itself, microphone attached to a cable, 1/8 inch (3.5mm) Stereo Aux Cable and a power cable. One note on the display when taking off the plastic covering it was very tough to remove it around the mic volume and volume knobs.
The instructions for setup were very clear and easy to understand. After turning it on I let it charge for around 6 hours before I started using it.
The look and feel of this Ion Sport XL speaker is very rugged and solid feeling. I love how the wheels are solid and feel tough. The Telescoping handle even feels solid unlike my previous model that felt wobbly.
The performance was very good. I paired it to my phone very easily and the sound was very smooth. It has an 8 inch woofer and 3 inch tweeter which really does sound great. I feel as if this one sounds at least twice as good as my previous ION bluetooth speaker. One thing on the sound is that the Bass Boost is a bit lack-luster and sounded almost flat when listening to hip-hop style music. I found that the sound was very good outside in an open area, as I used this around my pool for music and football games!
This speaker also has 2 USB charging ports to charge your devices. I thought this was a nice feature but it does seem to charge my phone at a slower rate than normal. It would have been nice to see one USB-C slot since most devices are moving in that direction.
This speaker does have an easy pair like for NFC-enabled smartphones but I did not have a chance to test this feature. Another feature is the 75 hour battery life. I have to say I have used this for days now and it is still going strong at half battery. One of the other features is the Link feature in which I personally could not get to work.

Forget about vacuuming for up to a month. Let me start out by saying this robot vacuum is really cool. I have never owned one before so this was all new to me.
The packaging was very well done and like opening high end merchandise. In the box was everything needed to get this product up and running.
The instructions for setup were very clear and easy to understand. After turning it on and syncing it on the base I let it charge for 6 hours. While that was charging I downloaded the app and created my account.
The look and feel of this Shark IQ Robot is very sleek and stylish. The fit and finish are really elegant.
The performance was very good. The first couple times that it ran it got stuck and did not make it back to the base station. After those 2 times it seems to have mapped better patterns every time. I am very impressed with the performance.
I love the bagless self-empty base. This is so simple and easy to use and it doesn’t get all over you or spill out everywhere while trying to empty.
I had zero issues with the app. I quickly downloaded it and created and account and was up and running quickly. The only wait time was the 6 hours I waited to let the Robot charge initially. The app pretty much does everything you want it to. You can just hit clean and it gets to work. You can set a schedule and map out your rooms. You can view the history along with maps and you can also control the cleaning mode. There are 3 modes you can choose from, eco, normal and max. The real beauty of it that you can start cleaning from anywhere. I start mine from work all the time!
This Shark IQ Robot also has powerful pet hair pickup with self cleaning brush roll. It also has dual corner and edge brushes that you can watch swivel as it does its job. Now one thing to not is that it claims to hold up to 30 days of dust and debris but with me have furry friends I have had to dump it after a week.
It does say that it supports Alexa or Google Assistant but personally I haven’t gotten that feature to work.

Premium at a Price

Let’s begin by saying that I have looking forward to the combination of a high end Android tablet and combining that with the keyboard to get the premium Chromebook multitasking features. I have been saying for the last few years image if you had high end laptop but could also detach the screen and use it like a tablet, best of both worlds right!!
The packaging was very well done and like opening high end merchandise. In the box was everything needed to get this product up and running.
After turning it on and plugging it up to power I was up and running quickly. With signing in and all the updates it still only took a few minutes.
Let's start off with price, at $999 and add a keyboard at $199 puts you at the $1200 premium range. One thing that is lacking is the availability of LTE to be able to use it on the road.
I really like the look and feel of the Pixel Slate. It has the flat bak and slim line bezels and had a really nice 12.3 inch screen. The screen have a beautiful resolution with a 6 million pixel display. The colors are very bright and vibrant.
The performance was excellent, I felt that pages loaded fast and all my apps performed well. I enjoyed watching hours of streaming videos on all the popular platforms with vibrant rich colors.
The battery life for me was around 13 hours which is higher than their rating of 12 hours. I also found that it does not get hot or overheat after using for hours at time.
The tablet has 2 USB-C ports one at the end of each long side. It also has a volume rocker button on the left side and above that is the power button that can also unlock the device by using your fingerprint. One thing to note is that this is the only fingerprint option that I found it uses. It doesn’t use it in apps or purchases that I have found.
Lastly, the operating system. I have found this iteration of the OS Google has made many improvements but for me they still needs some work. Most of the apps seem to work on the Pixel Slate but there are those that were designed for just phones that really look bad when they are displayed on this 12.3 inch screen. One last note is that when trying to do split screen with apps and chrome tabs it seems difficult and buggy.

Right out of the box it was up and running in a matter of seconds. I think you have a Google Pixel Slate this is a must have. Not only does it transform the tablet into a compact Chromebook but it also helps to protect your tablet. One negative thing is when you shut the case on the tablet it does’t really lock into place it is kind of sloppy feeling.
I absolutely love the midnight blue color. It looks and feels great. I love the spacious keyboard and large mouse pad. The backlight keyboard is an amazing feature.
If you like to have it set on your lap like I do when you watch TV you might want to grab something a little more stable before you slap it on your lap and start typing.

Nice but not a must have!!

The setup was very easy and I was up and running in just a matter of seconds. It is powered by a 1 AAA battery and I have read nothing where the battery life was rated.
This stylus was made to work with the Google Pixel Slate and I could not get it to work with other devices. Once the batter was in it was instantly connected and I did not notice any lag. I felt that it was very responsive and worked very well.
One thing that I noticed is that the pen did not react to different pressure levels.
This stylus has a high end premium feel to it. It is made of aluminum but feels very solid. One thing that is missing is a storage spot. There is no loop or compartment that I found to put it in. I did however find a magnet place on the cover that it sticks to.

I have never owned a high end blender but this is pretty close to as advertised.
The packaging was very well done and just a side note the box was very large… In the box was everything needed to get this product up and running.
The setup was very easy and I was up and running in just a matter of minutes. I did have an issue installing the noise dome. It has 3 places that stick out and that part slides in the base blender. For me the dome was little difficult and the little plastic pieces on the very end came off but it still worked as intended.
I used this blender for preparing the tomatoes from my garden for canning, blending up smoothies and preparing my morning protein smoothie. I have to say that it pretty much lives up to the advertisement. It made quick work of the veggies, fruit and ice and when I say quick work I mean like 2 pulses. I have to admit when I unpacked it I thought the blender would be like my $20 blender I have had for year because it just has the blades at the bottom. Boy was I wrong this thing mixed a whole pitcher of tomatoes in just a few pulses. I was simply amazed.
I would have to say that “whisper quiet” would be a stretch. With the dome on it is very quiet especially in comparison to my old blender.
The blender itself is very modern, sleek and could fit in a high end kitchen very nicely. The preprogrammed features worked as intended and the selector was very easy to understand and use.

Sleek and Simple

From the start I loved how sleek and light it was. With the addition of the braided cord gave this mouse the look of high end gaming mouse.
The packaging was very well done and this will not shift around in shipping. In the box was everything needed to get this product up and running.
The mouse was plug and play/worked right out of the box without any additional software. If you want to take advantage of the extra features you will have to download the software. The software is Logitech’s GHub software which was easy enough to install. The options were very easy to understand and use.
I found the the mouse was very precise for all the applications and games that I tried. I think that the 16K sensor definitely makes a huge difference, and it really shined when making headshots on some of the games I played. I also really enjoyed the tactile clicking of the buttons.
The included 10g weight for me did not seem to make too much of difference and I found it easy to install. I also loved the soft rubber side grips.

Great Gaming Headset

THE BREAKDOWN:
Let me start by saying these are nothing short of quality and comfort in one package. I have used them for a few weeks now on my PC/Laptop and XBox and I feel that they are very very nice. Not quite perfect, but close.
The packaging was very well done. It was like opening an expensive gift at Christmas. In the box was everything needed to get this product up and running.
The base station is very well built and solid. One of the downfalls with this unit for me is the size of the base station. I feel it should be smaller and was kind of a pain to have that USB and basestation attached when playing/watching movies on my laptop.
The sound quality was very good. The chat was crystal clear and was easy to adjust. This is something you come to expect from Astro. One downside for me was the ability to high volumes. I tried several different setting to get the sound to be loud and the closest I came was a preset sound profile I found online.
The range of this set is very good, I have a 3 level home with over 3000 square feet of living space and I have been everywhere and haven’t dropped the sound. This is the best I have ever tested as far as range goes.
The battery life was really good and rated for 15 hours. I haven’t played 15 hours straight but have put them to the test for a few weeks now and found them to be very close to what they claim. I just put them back on the magnetic base station when I’m done. The magnetic base station is a great feature and really helps to seat the headphones to charge them. One thing about the battery level indicator is that it always stated 1% even though they were fully charged. I was hoping that the new update would fix that but hasn’t for me as of yet.

At the top of budget gamers!!

Let me start by saying this is budget gaming at its finest. I think for this price range you would be hard pressed to find something close to this. The roomy 17 inch display (60hz) makes viewing for gaming and other thing very nice. The packaging was very well done. It was just enough packaging to get the product delivered. In the box was everything needed to get this product up and running. It even came with a soft zip case.
The look and design of this laptop is amazing. One thing that wasn’t perfect to me on the look was the plastic feeling of the laptop. It looks amazing from across the room but when you actually pick it up it feels a little cheap.
The display was wonderful. To be clear this is not a 120Hz dismay it is only 60Hz but to be honest I didn’t even notice the difference between this one and another laptop that I own that is 120Hz. I like the color performance. I felt as if the blacks were black and the colors were vibrant enough. Not only did I play games but I watched streaming video on this screen and it did not disappoint. One tip would be to make sure you don’t have the brightness at 100% especially at night or it will blind you….This laptop can get bright. Oh and one more point on the display is the thin bezel without the extra real estate around the screen.
There are 1 USB 2.0 port, 2 USB 3.0 ports, USB 3.1 (C) port, headphone jack and an HDMI. There are no SD cards slots which can be a downfall if you are a creator or into that. One comment on the charging port is that is in a bad location. Not sure why it would on the right side middle, such an awkward place.
The sound for me was just ok. Nothing too special there. I pretty much just where my headphones anyway.
Every game I played at very high settings and still had 60+ fps. I thought it did very well but the fan did get loud but was only noticed when I removed my headphones.
The battery was at about 1.5 - 2 hours unplugged when playing video games, while web browsing and playing video’s on youtube, xfinity, Netflix and Hulu the battery lasted anywhere from 3-4 hours. The battery does charge rather fast.
Another thing that I wanted to mention was the Nitro Sense. This little feature gives you cooling information/fan speed and lets you pick the speed and is customizable. The fans have a dual exhaust port design which I found rather useful when playing with the laptop on my lap. It has a key on the keyboard that you can use to access it.
One last thing I want to cover is the backlit keyboard. I like the red backlit keyboard but wished that there was a more customizable color palette.

SUMMARY:
Overall, I feel that this product is really good and probably at the top of what you actually get in this price range. I found this gaming laptop to absolutely amazing. There are some things I didn’t like but they have no real effect on the actual gaming performance of this laptop. I would definitely recommend this to a friend if they are in the market for something like this.

is that machine automatic?
Yes, this machine is automatic. Once you load the whole beans or you can a scoop of ground coffee and fill the water reservoir you just select the button for which coffee you would like it to make. It automatically dumps the grounds inside. I have made several cups before I had to empty the grounds collector. Hope that helps.
