Very nice sound for an active lifestyle

First Impressions
Even though the earbuds are very small, they come in a pretty impressive package. The bright red box and contrasting black packaging inside grabs your attention and is pretty impressive, so first impression is a positive one. As I began taking the pieces out, I was a bit overwhelmed by all of the little bags of earpieces. There are several very small booklets for warranty and user documentation written in many languages, so you really only need a few pages from each. It also comes with a nice zip up pouch for holding the earbuds and the charging cable.

Sound
With earbuds, I expected sound quality to take a hit, particularly at the lower range. The sound quality of these are pretty impressive, with mid and high range sounds reproducing very well. Bass is still lacking the quality that you would expect from large over the ear phones, but for their intended use, these are a pretty good replacement. Compared to any other earbuds I have used, I would rate these at or near the top for sound quality.

I've been using another brand's trimmer for a few years to keep my beard and mustache trimmed up and thought I was happy with it. After trying this thing out, I'm not going back to the old one! This works very well for trimming with clean cuts and no pulling at all, not that my old one did that, but this one cuts very well. I like the way the heads are designed, allowing it to be cleaned easily and keeping the hair from getting trapped in and around the combs. I always had problems with that and often had to pause trimming just to clean out the hair, then try to remember what setting I had it on when I put it all back together.
I was a bit disappointed that it doesn't come with any cleaning brushes, but the rinse and dry method seems to work OK, so we'll have to see how it holds up in the long run. It does come with a tube of oil to keep things from wearing out too quickly. The kit also comes with a bag to store everything, which is a nice feature so that it doesn't have to sit around the counter or worrying about parts getting lost .
I tried trimming around my ears, but even though this is very quiet I can't get it too close for too long. It is much quieter than my old one was even new, and the "Turbo" mode only adds a small amount to the sound.
Overall, I'm very pleased with the product and plan on using it for years.

Use –
The instructions are very easy to use with both written and pictorial instructions. The quick start guide gives the details on setting up and operating the Crosswave as well as how to clean and maintain the unit. The user guide has very detailed directions for doing all the tasks and has a troubleshooting section just in case. We were able to get going in no time.

Bissell has make this as easy as possible, with handles where they are needed to make sure your hands stay out of contact whenever possible. The drying tray makes both the machine and roller drying simple and effective. I was surprised at how easy the machine was to cleanup and it is now drying so it will be ready the next time.

After removing these from the nice case they come in, I was able to pair them and begin listening to music within a few seconds. I have never owned a set of wireless headphones, and am very impressed with both the ease of connection and the range of the Bluetooth radio. I was worried they might be limited to only a couple of feet. I have moved around the room (20 ft or so) and have no cutouts or disturbances of any kind.
The sound is incredible, the headphones are good enough to tell a huge difference between sources (online vs ripped-from-CD). Amazon and other streaming music loses a lot of definition in the compression, while local music has incredible range and precise sound throughout. Even bass sounds decent, a critique others have had for the 15 and 25 series. I am not an audiophile by any stretch, but I really love the full, rich sound of these – it isn’t even hardly a fair comparison to my older Sony headphones and the noise canceling makes it an even more enjoyable experience for me - my wife hates it since I can’t hear her calling me!
I haven’t used them long enough to measure battery life reliably, they have been on for several hours and have only gone down about 15%.
The only downside I can find to these is that wearing them this time of year (we are over 100 degrees this week) gets pretty warm. The full ear cup holds a lot of heat in. The sounds quality is a fair trade for the heat, though. They are very comfortable once adjusted and feel light on the head. I leaned back in my easy chair and was very comfortable even when my head settled into the padding of the chair. They are just big enough to cover the ear and provide the noise-canceling feature, but not overwhelming to wear.
I would have no hesitation recommending these to anyone looking for wireless, noise-canceling headphones, they are amazing! I’m looking forward to many years of enjoyment with these!

Incredible little machine!

First Impressions...
This laptop is designed to impress from the start! After I opened the typical cardboard outer box, I was greeted with a very nice looking black box with shiny gold lettering that spells Spectre on the side. I opened the box the first thing that caught my eye was the gold trim down the edge of the laptop. A small plastic tab sticks out so that the laptop can be easily removed from its protective area. Underneath, there is a small AC power brick and a cable that plugs it into one of the USB-C ports. What hits you first is how light the laptop is, then immediately how thin it is! The rubber strips on the bottom nearly double the thickness of the lower half of the laptop although they are not obtrusive at all. Right now I am writing this review with the laptop sitting on my lap and those wide rubber strips help keep it from moving around.

After going through the typical Windows setup and watching as it told me how happy I will be once it gets everything organized for me, I was able to see the Windows Desktop. My regular laptop runs the same resolution on a 17” screen, so the size difference translated into crisp, clear screen than I am used to seeing. Not to say my old machine isn’t easy on the eyes, actually I like the matte finish on its screen better than the glossy finish on just about every machine available today. The Spectre’s screen seems to be just about the perfect size for 1920x1080 resolution.

The touchpad is incredible! I was immediately impressed by the sensitivity and responsiveness of the touchpad. I have used mice for over 25 years and have never found a touchpad that I liked. This thing is better than anything I have tried from either Mac or Windows brands. I actually haven’t plugged in a mouse yet and I have been playing with this thing for over an hour!
Sound is a very important part of most of our lives and the Spectre has nice, crisp sound but misses a lot of the bass sound I have come to enjoy from my other laptop. I think this does a very good job of delivering sound given the limited space available, but volume and low frequencies are hit by the constraints of the package. That being said, the higher frequencies have very good tone and range at that end.
I wondered about the heat that would be produced by an i7 in such a small package, but the design that HP used for cooling does a very good job of keeping things going. It does warm a bit, but not so bad that I would feel the need to move it from my lap even when viewing full-screen videos. With the efficiency of the processor, I didn’t expect it to be so quick and capable.
Overall I am very impressed with all the nice little details that set this apart from other laptops. I would say this should do a decent job competing with the higher end products offered by its competitors. Things like the backlit keyboard and fit and finish are becoming more common on this level of machine, but HP has added other things like the elegant hinges, gold trim and other little touches that put it ahead in some ways, although the gold trim may be a bit over the top! The leather sleeve that comes with it is very nice as well, fitting the laptop nice and snug to protect it while traveling.
I connected a pair of Bose QuietComfort 35 headphones and they connected quickly and have no problems with the bluetooth cutting or syncing. Even when walking a few yards away from the laptop, the sound is unbroken. The WiFi signal strength is also strong, allowing for a good signal throughout my house.
The criticism…
There are a couple of things that I miss on this machine that I think would have made it even better such as a touch screen, regular USB port and maybe even an HDMI port (or adapter). The included USB-C to USB-3 adapter cable makes up for the lack of that port and the wireless is more than capable of casting video and sound to a Chromecast or other device but the touchpad just can’t replace a touch screen. I understand that the emphasis was on thin and light and this machine isn’t designed to be a tablet, but the Windows 10 interface just begs to be touched.

Opened the box and was surprised to find only the extender itself and two small booklets, nothing else is needed! I followed the simple directions, connecting the extender close to the router to set up and then moved it closer to the other end of the house. The directions say to place it halfway and that worked perfectly. I now have full bars from one end of my house to the other and full-speed network access everywhere. I didn’t use it a lot at that end of the house, but my daughters are happy that they have no drops in connection.
I am impressed by the easy setup, reliable connection and simplicity of the whole process. I look forward to having a reliable connection from my entire house. By accessing the web interface, I was also able to access all the extra settings on the extender, it includes several nice little tools such as a site survey tool and a “Spot Finder” to help you set it in just the right place.
Not much else to say, it does exactly what it is supposed to do and is completely transparent. Fills in the weak spots in our house with full power. If you need to extend your Linksys router’s signal, this device can’t be much easier to use.

Incredibly fast router with very easy setup

First impressions: Big, heavy and impressive! The box it came in was large, and even then I was a bit surprised by how massive the router is. By the time I straightened all eight antennas out, it looks like a monster on my desk. It took only a few minutes to get all the plastic off and the cables connected and then we were off!
Setup:
Turned the power button on and… nothing! After a couple of seconds though (just long enough to double-check the power cord), the screen lit up. After only a few minutes, the Wi-Fi SSID was available and I was ready to begin configuration. As soon as the included connection password is entered, my browser went straight into the configuration. After following a few simple pages of setup, it showed me a page of my new settings (very nice touch if you have forgotten to write them down) and asked to reconnect.

I bought this for my daughter since she had already dropped her phone and had a small crack in the screen - her previous case was supposed to protect it, but didn't do the job. She didn't have the money to buy this model when she bought the phone, so she is regretting it now! This covers much better and has a softer inner part that is much better at keeping the phone protected. Hope she doesn't really have to test it too much, but I have seen students drop and throw their phones with an Otterbox case and they are fine afterward.

I purchased this after reading a couple of comments about plastic/bitter taste but figured I could run a few cycles and clean it out. After 12-15 full pitchers of water, it still has a very strong plastic taste and I can't get rid of it. There is no smell indicating it got too hot while it is heating, but the taste is too much for me. Excellent little keyboard for use with our living room computer/TV. The extra right button on the left side fits my hands very well, I can run the trackpad with one hand, while I hold the keyboard and click with the other.
The battery life is great so far, although I have come to expect that with Logitech and the reception is excellent from clear into the other room.
I set up a computer to run our Netflix and games on our TV and this is great to use from my recliner fifteen to twenty feet away.

Can you make a map for the robot in the app?
No, there is no mapping ability on the SpinWave. There is a schedule mode, but I am not sure of the reason since it seems to NEVER return to the base to recharge after it is used - probably because it has no mapping function! It still does a good job, it just seems to run until it is stuck or the battery runs out.

I have tile and carpet throughout home. Will it mop tile then switch to vacuum carpet? Or do I have to tell it what to do? .
It has to be set up for the type of job you want it to do. The vacuum tray and the mop solution tray use the same bay on the robot. I was hoping it could be set up to do both also since the roller and fan are still part of the main body but it cannot.

Do u need o e on both ends? Meaning I have to have one and the person I call has to have one.
No, you can call anyone on your Facebook and Messenger list. The benefit to having it at both ends is that both ends of the call get to take advantage of all of the features. We haven't tried every one of them with a Portal at only one end, such as the watch together app, so I am not sure how many of the features work without a Portal.

How good is the motion detection really? I have purchased several cams and the motion detection is awful. Thanks
I have mine turned down since it is so sensitive. Even blowing leaves set it off at the medium-high setting. On medium, the cats still set it off, but I will continue to play with the settings and aim to see what a good balance is. My Arlo 2 was so delayed that the action was about done before they even started recording.

How long are the recorded clips? Do the clips start before motion is detected?
The clips start a few seconds BEFORE there is any motion, something my Arlo 2 system didn't do very well. The clips also last a few seconds after the last motion is seen, making them very useful for security footage. I was pleasantly surprised at this, even though this is exactly what a security camera should act like!

Different size screens have different installation abilities, on my 12" Samsung it is not allowed, while some smaller screens can.

I have run it for several hours when just browsing the internet, but it will be lower if the GTX fires up for anything! The screen is a very nice matte finish. I keeps the glare down very well even in a brightly lit room.

Hi, I just bought this computer from a Best Buy today. I knew that you had to charge the computer for the first use. But I didn't know the power cord didn't plug into an American power socket. What power adapter do I need?
There is a black cover over the normal AC prongs. Just pull on it and it will slide right off, allowing you to plug it into a normal American wall socket.

this laptop does not have many reviews, why? and would you recommend this product if I like Netflix, traveling and take notes at school and some light gaming
It is fairly new, so reviews are still coming in I'm sure, but Netflix does run great, even casting it to a Chromecast works very well, no studdering or other problems. It is designed to be easy to travel, its size is perfect to throw in almost any size space - about .5" wider and about 1.5" longer than a sheet of paper. As long as your notes don't include using a stylus for drawings or diagrams, this would be great but with no touch capability, that could be a drawback. Remember to pick up a USB-C to HDMI/VGA adapter if you do presentations, while it does have three ports they are USB-C only. As far as gaming, I haven't done much with that yet but I would be surprised if it did too well on anything that requires much horsepower. The CPU would do fine until heat builds up, but the onboard graphics would be the limiting factor. Older games or those with low-end graphics would do fine, but that is definitely not what this machine was designed for!
