Awesome Access Point!!!
on December 2, 2016
Posted by: Dragonhunter281
The Netgear Orbi Wireless Router is designed to give the best Wi-Fi coverage in large, internet dependent homes. At its cost, it is clear that this device is targeted for the upper tier in the networking market. However, I was able to use this in my apartment for Wi-Fi, as my existing router started to have many inconsistent drops and high ping latencies during speed tests or streaming video. I was surprised at how easy it was to setup considering networking products usually take a bit of troubleshooting to work right off the bat. They rarely work the first time. The Orbi, however, worked immediately!
The physical product itself is felt quite unique and was a pleasant surprise. I love the style of the Orbi and its modern appearance. Inside the box, you will find the main router unit as well as one satellite to place away from the router to assist with spreading the Wi-Fi signal. The unit itself has somewhat of a rubbery feel, but it does not feel cheap. I like the oval shape as well as it sets it apart from the traditional router. On the back of both units, you will find 4 Ethernet ports for devices and one port for the internet port. There is also a USB port and a sync button. Also, the light activity on the top is pretty neat as well. The illumination is sweet!
As for setup, I would like to first mention that my apartment is on the small side at around 500sq feet. The main unit itself was so powerful that the range has full bars on my phone and tablet no matter where I am. However, I went ahead and added the satellite and on the first setup, it took roughly a minute or two to discover the main router and illuminated blue. I was quite shocked since I usually do not have this type of luck with Wi-Fi setups. Moving on, I also downloaded the Netgear Genie app and was able to view all the statues with my network. I also liked the performance analysis and was able to scan the various channels for congestion. I made a simple change and it worked after 90 seconds and did not interrupt my streaming. I also fiddled with the setup on the web based setup and I like how simple the interface is. One thing I noticed, and perhaps I might have missed it, was I did not see an option to split up the SSID by frequency and have one for the 2.4 and one for 5 GHZ. Other than that this is just a minor issue.

My ISP had listed the download rate at 22 MBPS and my upload was 2 MBPS. For more than a year, I did not have any issues. About 6 months ago, I started having abrupt speeds, anywhere from 5 MBPS to the full 22 MBPS. Latency on performance tests were also up and down and inconsistent. Afterwards, with only the main Orbi unit connected, I noticed the speed would hold anywhere from 20-22 MBPS hasn't dropped since. In addition, I contacted my ISP and upgraded the speed to 30 MBPS and the Orbi has been right with it. I received anywhere from 27-30 MBPS on my last few tests. This has been a life saver! In addition, once I added the satellite I did not notice any improvement as the range on the main unit has been ridiculously good. Since my apartment is so small, this was not surprising. On larger houses or apartments, I have no doubt you will see a nice improvement especially if there are dead zones in the vicinity. Also, if you have an extremely fast connection, I couldn't even fathom how great that experience would be.
The Netgear Orbi Wireless router has been an essential product and I highly recommend it to households who require high performance networking. In addition, it allowed me to use it as an access point and disable the wireless on my original router and have the Orbi handle it. At its price, it might be a bit steep for some people, but I have no doubt you would be extremely satisfied by its performance. It might prove to be a networking favorite!

Amazing Comfort!!!
on November 23, 2016
Posted by: Dragonhunter281
The Bose Soundsport Pulse Wireless headphones have been quite surprising, both in terms of comfort and sound quality. For me personally, this was the first Bose product that I have used and also my first wireless headphones. I typically prefer wired ones and still do. However, my first impressions were quite positive. Inside the box you will find two different sized ear covers, and one already attached, as well as a carrying case. The box also contains a quick start guide. The full manual can be found online.
When I first wore them, the Bose Soundsport felt different, especially if you do not like the silicon cup style for headphones. For reference, my normal headphones are the standard in-ear design, so I had to adjust to the design. After about 30 minutes or so, it literally felt like I was not wearing anything nor were they heavy. I was really excited about that because at first they look like they would not be comfortable during prolonged listening sessions. Additionally, I have not tried them during workouts yet, but hopefully I will soon. One thing I will mention is that that the cord length, while perfect for running as you would not have to deal with a cord flapping all over the place, it is just a tad bit too short. This was the only gripe that I had with them. Thus, controlling the volume or the microphone was bit difficult. I wish they would have added another inch or two of cord on both sides. Other than that, they are really comfortable. The heart monitor worked fairly well and connecting to the Bose application was quite simple. I will mention that on my first time using it, the program downloaded an update for the headphones. It took roughly 20 minutes to complete. As for charging, it takes roughly two hours to fully charge and should last 5-6 hours. The headphones have a micro USB port for charging. I also want to mention that it said that any wall charger can be used. I had to verify this as some chargers have a different amp rating and did not want to break them.
As for sound quality, this is probably one of the most subjective areas with discussing music or equipment. For this test, I used pure lossless FLAC files from my personal collection. I verified all of them using a spectrogram and also looked at their frequencies using FFT analysis. Unfortunately, there will always be some sound loss due to the nature of Bluetooth, so I tried to keep that at a minimum by using FLAC even though the phone won't be able to reproduce those higher frequencies. However, I always want the best audio quality and where I can control it, I will. I also included various genres including Rock, Trance, Rap, and Classical. Overall, everything sounds really crisp and clear. I did not have to completely turn up my volume and it was still really loud. On the songs with a lot of bass, it came through quite punchy and did not sound weak at all. Classical music sounded fairly decent. One of my high resolution pieces (96 KHZ/24 Bit) came through quite marvelously. Rock music sounded overall fairly good, although some of the louder songs sounded a bit muddy. One point I forgot to mention was that on my phone, a Sony Xperia Z3+, all of the EQ settings were set to off as well as any audio enhancing setting. I was also using the stock player on Android 5.0.2. From just my tests here, quality wise, I think most will be quite satisfied.
In conclusion, if you are looking for wireless headphones to use while working out, I have no doubt you would be pleased with these headphones. The short cable, while I thought it could be a little bit longer to facilitate the use of the controls, is still more than adequate for working out. As for its price point, if you have used a Bose before, it should not come as a surprise. While it might be a bit steep for some, these do work as intended and sound great. If you can get these, I recommend them and have no doubt they will satisfy your needs.

Premium Vacuum Cleaner!!!
on September 20, 2016
Posted by: Dragonhunter281
In our household of four cats, cleaning is almost a daily chore. It seems every time rooms are cleaned and dusted, even more cat hair appears. As such, I was curious to see how this Bissell Pet Eraser would hold up in comparison to our older vacuum cleaner. I decided to give this a test and what a difference this vacuum cleaner made! Upon first inspection out of the box, the vacuum cleaner felt well constructed. It was slightly lighter than our previous one, but not by much. Physically, the vacuum cleaner has an average size; it felt smaller than our other one which was actually quite nice.
In the box, we find several accessories for cleaning; most of which are most common: a baseboard tool which has a LED light on it and the pet eraser tool for carpet. It also came with a Febreze pre-motor filter which had a pleasant scent. In addition, the cleaning hose is actually the handle for the whole unit as opposed to our old one where the hose was separate from the handle. This feature was quite nice as it felt more compact than our older unit. Furthermore, located on the left side are the power button and an on/off switch for the rollers. This prevents overheating and was probably one of the best features as I personally had burned a spot in the carpet with the old vacuum cleaner so this was definitely a big plus. At the bottom on the left side, you will notice the green knob that is turned when you want to alternate between regular vacuuming with the rollers or clean with the hose. It will take some time to get used to this, but it is extremely important to remember. A couple times I forgot and realized it was not sucking. After using it a few times it should become a habit. I recommend alternating between floor and hose cleaning on stair cases or any room; remembering to change the knob will become a habit before you know it.
On the front of the unit, at the bottom, you will find the adjustment for the vacuum cleaner. Upon first use, I could really feel difference from the third, second and last setting (bare floor). It should be noted that based on your particular carpet and the setting, its performance will vary. As per the instructions, you would want to set it to where you can feel the most resistance. Since our carpet is quite old, the bare floor setting was used. Surprisingly, it still felt pretty resistant when vacuuming even on this setting. Also, a blue LED light around the floor adjustment knob illuminates when the rollers are engaged after it is removed from its upright position. I also noticed that, while cleaning the staircase, the rollers will automatically switch off when it is clicked back into the upright position. Another note is that the swivel of the base took some time to get used to. This was especially felt on the first few vacuuming sessions as our old one had only linear movements. In some places, it actually felt like it helped; others, for example, when I was cleaning the stairs with both methods, it was a bit difficult to guide the cleaner over each step. Also, when I used the baseboard tool, I noticed the slit wasn't as wide as the tool that came with the older vacuum cleaner. However, it still worked and I could still get in those tight spots around the baseboard.
Suction was fairly decent, although when I compared it to our older vacuum cleaner, it wasn't as powerful. Bissell has this listed as 8.5 amps and our older one was listed as 12 amps, however, I have no doubt the Bissell is more efficient in its power management. This also did not seem to affect its ability to clean as all the areas I have used it looked spotless. Also, when it was turned on, it was not as loud as our older one which was another benefit. As with electronics, specifications sometime mislead on paper, so I would advise to go in with an open mind. It performs fantastically with just the few rooms that I tested it on. On the stairs, the pet eraser tool worked perfectly. I was able to put a bit of force to really buff up some of the cat hair that was buried in the carpet. Despite the lower suction, it was not weak or had any issues picking up cat hair.
In summary, the Bissell Pet Eraser Vacuum cleaner is an amazing product. I would recommend it especially if your household is pet heavy like mine is and if its price can fit within your budget. At its price tag, it may deter some people away as naturally it might be out of reach for some. However, given its overall performance it does not disappoint and aside from a couple of the quirks that I mentioned, it could perhaps be one of the best vacuum cleaners that I have personally used. As for its cons, they are minor considering how much this vacuum cleaner performed. It is definitely worth a try and seemingly the cat hair is now under control. It might just prove to be the hair eraser you were looking for!
Pros:
*Roller on/off switch to prevent burning of carpet; overheat protection and rollers click off when it is shifted back to upright position.
*Cleaning hose is attached and used as the handle during normal vacuuming; gives a more compact appearance and feel.
*Pet Eraser Tool cleaned the stairs perfectly; Able to apply a good deal of force along the base of each stair to remove tons of hair.
* Operates quieter than our older vacuum cleaner.
Cons:
*The swivel movement took some time to get used to. Works well for some areas.
*The baseboard tool isn't as wide as our previous tool from the older vacuum cleaner.
*Slightly difficult to use the main rollers on the stairs due to its loose base.
*Takes some time getting used to adjusting the suction knob when switching between hose and floor cleaning modes.

Beast Router: Ridiculous Range!!!
on August 11, 2016
Posted by: Dragonhunter281
The EA9500 Linksys router may just as well be the best router I have personally used. At its cost, however, it might be out of range for the average user, but let not deter you from considering all that it has to offer. Granted, if you have a large home and having a plethora of devices connected all at once is a necessity, then the EA9500 might just fit your needs. Speed is written all over this insane device. For me personally, the router was a life saver. Previously, the Wi-Fi in our home was horribly slow and inconsistent. It was so bad that even just one room over from where the old router was located, you would be lucky to even get a consistent strong signal. On the opposite side of the house, coverage was almost non-existent. Traditionally, I have always been skeptical at networking claims of improved speed or range as so many factors contribute to the overall experience. That all drastically changed with the EA9500.
From the minute you open the box, the size of the EA9500 and sheer weight of it screams quality. The size of the EA9500 will require a relatively large flat, sturdy surface to store this router. It is also quite heavy for a router, weighing around 3-4 pounds. Furthermore, the plastic chassis was constructed quite well. It did not feel too cheap. The eight antennas will need to be carefully moved to the upright position. Overall, they felt pretty flexible but I would strongly caution that once they are situated upright, they are left alone afterwards. On the back of the unit, there are eight Ethernet Gigabit ports, along with one labeled internet for your original source connection. Furthermore, one USB 3.0 and one 2.0 port are available for sharing various devices. It was also nice that the two USB ports support the NTFS file system for storage. HFS and FAT are also supported. In addition to the physical aspect of the EA9500, for wireless capabilities, it features a triple channel design that is split up by 2x5 GHZ channels and one regular 2.4 GHZ. The 4x4 MU-MIMO facilitates the use of multiple devices on your network. Thus, the EA9500 allows four data streams per band. In addition, setup was straightforward and I did not have any issues connecting the router. I connected the main internet cable from our PACE modem to the port labeled internet and then I connected my laptop to the first Ethernet port. I was able to access the Smart Wi-Fi website and connected using the included password. The main screen shows all the various devices connected and was fairly straightforward. One feature I personally liked was the ability to split the two 5 GHZ channels by disabling an option called band steering. As a personal preference, I liked to see where I am physically connected to, thus I chose to disable it. Overall, the web browser configuration will require you to tinker with it so you can familiarize yourself with it. It was quite simple.
The range of the EA9500 was perhaps the greatest improvement over our previous Wi-Fi setup. In our 2700 sq ft home, any room other than the study where the actual router was located received only three bars or less. Furthermore, latency and inconsistent drops plagued the whole house even in the study. In our TV room upstairs, which usually has a decent signal as it is directly above the study, I noticed our Sony BDP-S3500 bluray player kept bouncing connection strength anywhere from 20%-95% and kept spiking inconsistently up and down. Throughout the whole house, phones, tablets and laptops displayed similar behavior. Our speed test in my upstairs bedroom showed 13 MBPS download and around 34ms in latency. Immediately repeating the same test, I barely received 5 MBPS and a spike in latency over 150ms. The EA9500 was then connected and night and day does not even scratch the surface of the improvement. Every single room is literally full Wi-Fi signal strength, and consistent speeds of 20-22 MBPS were noted in almost every single test I performed. In addition, I noted latency was around 24 ms or lower. Fortunately, in almost every test I performed, the results were nearly identical to the one before it regardless of location. The bluray player showed consistent 90-100% connection strength and rarely went below 98%. Furthermore, in the kitchen where previously WI-FI signal would be so poor that some devices would disconnect altogether, we now had full strength and consistent speeds as if we were directly in front of our EA9500. Lastly, in our backyard, where before I couldn't connect at all, I was able to pick up almost full signal on the 2.4 GHZ channel. On the 5 GHZ channel, I was expecting a much weaker signal since by default it does not reach as far as the 2.4 GHZ one. However, I was still able to pick it up and connect to even at poor range; ironically, it ran exponentially faster and consistent than even a full set of strength bars on our old router. Absolutely stunning! I am confident you would see similar range improvements as well. Furthermore, I would caution that while speed improvements may correlate with improved range, most speed improvements are influenced more heavily by ISPs and your particular speed. Thus, while you may see an increase in speed, do not expect it to be exponentially faster than what your ISP has you capped at. For us, the EA9500 brought consistency to our network, and we are finally receiving our correct speed that is listed in our service.
Another aspect of the EA9500 I would like to mention is its Max-Stream capabilities when paired with extenders; in my case, I had the pleasure of testing the RE7000. I would like to mention that when the range extender is connected to the EA9500, it automatically detected that my EA9500 was Max Stream ready and asked if I would like to enable the feature. Similarly, like the band steering I mentioned earlier, the range extender and the EA9500 are essentially merged under the same SSID, except here it's worth noting that it is obviously two physical devices as oppose to two channels. I want to strongly caution that your results will vary here depending on how you setup the range extender (i.e. wirelessly or as a wired access point), internet speed of your service, and the physical location of the router and extender. Nonetheless, the feature did work as intended and I noticed on the Smart Wi-Fi utility home page the RE7000 was listed with Max Stream enabled.

The EA9500 has pushed our network to a place I never thought possible by one device. No longer do we have inconsistent speeds, lag spikes, or stuttering on any device. The solid construction and premium feel to the router itself has made this an unbelievable experience. It has more than improved our range and we are now able to consistently access the internet anywhere in the house. Although the router itself does come at a cost, it has more than lived up to what it was designed to do. However, it is no secret that EA9500's target audience is firmly positioned for the enthusiast crowd or power users who want the absolute best. It absolutely performs like a top end product as its cost should indicate. Consequently, though, it is not for everyone and the majority would perhaps benefit by looking at cheaper alternatives. I strongly recommend the EA9500 and believe it is an exceptional product, but caution equally that cheaper routers do exist. In the end, if you still desire the best, the EA9500 may just serve you a satisfying full course of internet.

Budget Tablet: Surprisingly Worth Your Attention!
on August 3, 2016
Posted by: Dragonhunter281
The Acer Iconia 8 tablet has been an exceptional product for the last two months. Its price tag, while often a detractor, is perfect for those who need something on a budget or those who do not need a lot of horsepower. It is perfectly suited for the most basic of tasks such as email or surfing the internet. For the price, the build quality actually felt pretty solid. However, I would like to caution though that if you are considering this tablet, or have done so, to please keep in mind this tablet is not designed to compete with more expensive choices. Therefore, to prevent disappointment I caution to keep expectations relatively reasonable.
Starting with the display, the 1200x800 IPS display was actually quite colorful. The color contrast was quite vibrant and I found text quite sharp and clear. Viewing angles were also excellent. I also ran a couple of HD videos that I made and they look fantastic, especially the one from a bluray source. Using VLC player, the 1080p playback was smooth and did not lag or skip. I also used the tablet to read PDFs for my online college course and it worked out quite comfortably. In addition to reading documents, the tablet's physical size facilitated this as you can hold it easily in one hand. Thus, web browsing would also amount to same comfortable experience. Furthermore, battery life seemed to be fairly good, with light to medium use. It could easily last for a day or longer. I was able to almost get a little more than two days out of it, but granted your life will vary depending on use. For charging, it took roughly two hours to get a full charge.
Aesthetically, the Acer Iconia One 8 was constructed quite well. The touch screen seemed quite durable and Acer did not seem to cut any corners; its responses are fairly on point. The plastic back might feel a little cheap to some people, but for me personally it did not really bother me. Additionally, the micro SD slot and micro USB are located at the top, as well as the 3.5mm headphone jack. I would like to add that having the micro USB on the top actually helped during reading sessions as it kept the cable away from me, but also prevented any tension imposed by the cable while in use. I did not have to worry about the male end of the micro USB snapping off inside the tablet's port.

For testing its audio capabilities, several have mentioned horrible sound or messed up speakers, though I did not have that issue. During my video tests, the sound came out quite clear, though as one would expect there was hardly any bass. At max volume, it did not sound good at all, but that was expected. For general listening, it does its job well, albeit headphones are recommended. In addition, for music playback I tested using my Kilpsch Status headphones and loaded it up with various FLAC files from my personal collection. Sound quality was actually fairly good; some of the bass oriented songs actually came through much better as opposed to the speaker. I also tested its Hi-Res playback using Jazz and Classical genres, with both files at 96 KHZ/24 Bit. These all sounded fairly decent and for a budget tablet I was surprised it handled it quite well. However, as one would expect, it could not produce all the subtle sounds associated with these types of files. Conclusively, one would be fairly content with the sound just as long as you aren't expecting a concert. Headphones produce the best fidelity overall, while the speakers are best left at low to medium volume.
Camera quality was not at all surprising, working best in very well lit environments or with lots of daylight. This was probably weakest aspect of the tablet itself, although you must consider that for the price, we were lucky to even get a camera in the first place, let alone two of them. Granted, most people would not be taking scenery shots with a tablet of this price, as most of its use would be focused on other tasks. As for picture quality, most of the pictures were fair, with most colors washed out. During the day, with the windows opened, pictures came out much better. In the end, the camera is a nice feature even if it is not up to par. Nonetheless, it would be enough to entertain kids, especially with certain applications that could modify pictures for a few laughs. Conclusively, I would say this is probably the weakest part of the tablet, though definitely not a deal breaker.
Conclusively, the Acer Iconia One 8 is an exceptional product at its price tag, and I have no doubt that it would meet the needs for someone who wanted to check their email, shop their wish list, or browse around on the internet. In addition, watching a couple of videos here and there would also be a pleasant experience. As caution previously, as long as your expectations are reasonable, there would be little to complain about. However, if you are easily disappointed, I would strongly advise to consider the higher priced tablets. I also would like to point out that the Acer Iconia 8 may also work well for kids to play games on, but performance here may be hindered by the 1GB of RAM. Although I did not test this personally, simple games should have no problem running on this tablet. Furthermore, if its primary use is to entertain kids, the price is extremely attractive as it would be easier to replace this tablet as oppose to more expensive alternatives if something were to happen. In the end, for a budget tablet the Acer Iconia One 8 fits the bill and most certainly your needs as long as you curve your expectations. For the price, I don't think you can beat it.

Crazy Range! Excellent Coverage
on May 26, 2016
Posted by: Dragonhunter281
The Linksys RE 7000 Range Extender has been a real treat to use. Our Wi-Fi has been an issue for a while with horrible range coverage and speed inconsistencies so I was excited to finally test this. Setup is fairly straightforward and I am confident that most can set this up without any difficulty. The RE 7000 Linksys Range extender can be used in one of two ways: wired or wirelessly. The wired method involves connecting an Ethernet from your modem/router to the bottom of the RE7000, which then plugs in to the wall. The wired method is recommended as opposed to the wireless since it creates an access point directly from your source, thus providing maximum speed. The wireless method uses your Wi-Fi signal to talk to the range extender, and increases the range; however the speed will be less as you have to rely on an increased latency between your device to the extender then back to your original Wi-Fi signal. I tested both methods and while coverage did improve with the wireless method, our results were still inconsistent because our Wi-Fi built into our modem is inconsistent. I want to add if your connection is fast enough, either method will suit your needs, but my recommendation, as well as Linksys's recommendation, is to go in expecting to use the wired method. All my results shown here will be using the wired method as they represent what the RE7000 was designed to do: Increased range and fast, consistent speed. In addition, the WPS button on the RE7000 also worked as designed when connecting my phone and our Sony TV upstairs to the extender. I would try both methods if any problems should arise.
Setup is done primarily through the web browser interface, but you can also connect via the IP address they give you for a manual based install. I did the web-based method as most will choose that way and surprisingly the interface is straightforward. After you create an admin password, it takes you to the settings. For each of the two Wi-Fi frequencies, 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, they are split into separate access points, which can be enabled or disabled depending on your preference. On the wireless installation, your access point may use the same name as your old router but will add "_EXT" at the end of it. Likewise, you can always customize your SSID. As for any issues, the only one I ran into was after I had restored the RE7000 to factory settings, my Acer Iconia One tablet kept asking for the admin password that had been erased every time I tried to load the extender web address. I bypassed this by using the IP number used for manual setup; it redirected me back to the welcome screen. If that doesn't work, try clearing the browser cookies and cache. I would also recommend copy the welcome screen's URL during your first initial setup just in case you will need to start over. Above all, be patient, as networking sometimes requires you to redo things, often times working after the tenth time.
In our house, we have had many Wi-Fi issues over the last year or so; mainly inconsistent speeds and coverage was nearly nonexistent if you were anywhere other than directly above the study, upstairs directly above the router or actually in the study. However, using the wired method with the RE7000, our range increased dramatically and the consistency was a HUGE improvement. Essentially, the second half of our house that previously had no Wi-Fi coverage before now had full bars and a strong consistent 18-22 MBPS download and 2.5 upload. In my room, with the door shut, the range extender provided full bars of coverage when before it was average even with the door left open. The range improved so much that places that would see very poor signal strength now had almost nearly full coverage! My room saw the biggest jump over the inconsistent numbers found on the old Wi-Fi in comparison to the strong consistent signal using the range extender. Using the same test server, I noted:
Old Router (Pass 1) 8.28 MB Download/ 2.11 MB Upload/ 34 ms
Old Router (Pass 2) 3.27 MB Download/0.66 MB Upload/34 ms
RE7000 (Pass 1) 22.07 MB Download/2.37 MB Upload/33 ms
RE7000 (Pass 2) 22.24 MB Download/2.30 MB Upload/33 ms
In the dining room, I noted the results using an AE3000 Linksys USB Adapter connected to my newly built desktop. I noted the results below:
Old Router: 6.00 MB Download/1.71 MB Upload/23 ms
RE7000: 22.85 MB Download/1.93 MB Upload/22 ms

As you can see, the RE 7000 performance is absolutely stunning and the consistency has drastically improved. Even places that still have only average bars are so much faster and smooth because our old modem simply could not handle the square footage of our home. In essence, if you need to improve your range and do not mind using the wired connection (perhaps you have a way to hide the cable) then this is absolutely recommended. Wirelessly, I caution to make sure your source is fast and consistent; once done, the RE7000 will tremendously improve your range of the signal. In fact, picking up the device in the backyard was mind bottling!
I would like to mention that when you pair this range extender with compatible Max Stream Linksys Routers (EA7500/9500), the range extender will automatically detect this feature during setup. Next, a message will pop up noting that it will streamline the setup and that it recommends using the same settings used on the main network for a seamless experience. I tested this using the wireless method with my EA9500, since this would be the method you would use to activate such a feature. Thus, because of this, I cannot comment if this would work by using a wired connection from the router to the RE7000 but I imagine it would and thus provide a better experience. Anyways, once connected, on Wi-Fi devices you will not see what physical device you are connected to: both the RE7000 and whichever router used will appear under the same SSID. On extremely fast connections, where delay would be nonexistent, I assume this would be a nice experience, but on slower ones, like ours, I was noticing some spikes in latency and inconsistent numbers once again. Granted, they were not as wild as they were before. Conclusively, your connection will alter your experience here. Personally, I would prefer to see the two access points created by the RE7000, as well as those from the router so I know what I am connected to. Overall, it is a nice feature depending on your preference and connection.
The RE7000 Range extender is an amazing product that I have no doubt will improve your wireless experience no matter which method used to setup. With my precautions, it has the chance to drastically improve your networking needs; much like it did when I used it with an Ethernet cable. The range and performance is definitely there. At its cost, it could prove quite drastically the most effective way to improve your range and access to Wi-Fi, especially in large or multistory houses. I would recommend that if you are purchasing this, check to see if you have the ability to use this with a wired connection. If you do, then I have no doubt you will be pleased like I have been. If you need to use the wireless feature, I still recommend this, but like before I caution that your results will drastically vary depending on your source connection, location of the extender, and your household construction. Fast connections should have no problem, but slower ones may experience some interruption or increased latency, as we are more prone to "feel" it when we do not have access to our full consistent speed. Overall the RE7000 is highly recommended and certainly performs like a five star product!

Fantastic Casual Game For All Ages

I found out about this game last week while looking for something on Steam to play. I found this on sale and gave the demo a shot and was quite shocked to find this game is pretty fun. I then decided to grab a box copy as I prefer that over digital download. It has fluid cell-shaded inspired graphics and looks pretty, even with its small footprint for hardware requirements. I have got to the second level, and I'll say so far its enjoyable. It is unfortunate that some of the smaller titles get overlooked these days; I'd say so far judging from what I have played, the length of the game looks pretty good. One worth of note is that the game clocks in at about 5.7 GB on the hard drive. (It's not listed on the requirements). It also doesn't require any account based system such as steam and/or Origin, which is always nice- I rather have my games install separately, even though it seems every single game these days requires one or the other. Also, I didn't have any installation issues. I recommend this to any one who might be looking for something fresh to play; it's kind of a nice change of pace and entertaining. I would recommend trying the demo out first to see if you like it; however at the price it is currently being offered, I don't see how anyone can say this is a bad game. Its definitely target audience is towards the younger demographics; but anyone can enjoy its quirky humor and casual, but laid back game play.

What's great about it: Excellent Game; Cheap.
What's not so great: Wish I had found this game sooner.

Great, Unique Phone
By Jstar
This review turned out a lot longer than originally thought but this is a big purchase so I did not want to miss anything and wanted to share my experience with you. I know I would appreciate what I have to say below :)
I bought this phone to replace my 4.5 year-old lg optimus that had grown outdated but still was in great working condition. As I have an iPhone for work and do not care for it much, I researched phones heavily this past year and narrowed it down to making the tough choice between the Xperia XZ and the Galaxy s7 Edge. Since I was finally getting a new phone I did not just want to get the one everyone said was the 'best', I wanted to put my money towards the phone that would provide me with a unique experience with top of the line specs and I am very happy I went with the Xperia XZ.
First off the phone is beautiful. Many online reviews said this phone was not particularly attractive to non-Sony Phone buyers and after having the phone for a few weeks I respectfully disagree. Maybe it is just the Forest Blue color, but I have repeatedly been asked what kind of phone I had while at work or in-line in stores by people who think the phone is "really cool" or in another case "super cute". It is a design/color that seems to appeal to a lot of people. I thought I would have a problem with the increase in screen size from my old phone, but I am a tall guy with big hands and have no problem reaching the entire screen with my thumb while holding it in one hand. My girlfriend uses two hands but she does so with her iPhone as well so I would not hold that against the Xperia but just thought I would note it because the one hand use was important to me.
As for the phone itself I have no complaints. Again I note the age of my old phone, so any phone would probably be a nice change in speed and such, but it was very easy to transfer my old data to the XZ and it is incredibly quick and responsive when using apps. The display is stunning with excellent color contrast. The camera takes excellent pictures, haven't tried too many selfies but scenes look great and capture motion very well. I am a big fan of the camera shutter button and notification light, quick charge is nice. The battery goes a day of occasionally gaming and internet browsing once you fine-tune the settings. I was initially upset about the lack of the fingerprint scanner but I saw the hardware for it is on the US version and you can enable with a little software work around, but it will void the warranty so I have not gotten around to trying that yet. But honestly with the smart-lock and security settings, the phone is unlocked whenever it is near me so it is really not a big deal at all. The Lifelog and Xperia Lounge apps are cool and provide great exercise feedback and free perks respectively. I am also happy to report the water proofing does work to at least some degree as the first thing I did when I received the phone was run it under the sink for a while and it worked no problem.
I am a big Sony fan so I was very interested to see how it faired remote playing my ps4. Once I paired my controller with my phone it was smooth sailing and playing Dark Souls was far easier than I expected it would be. I did not try playing online multiplayer through remote play yet but even with my Vita that can be very leggy so I expect it would be similar with the XZ.
In conclusion, I love my other Sony products and am happy to have the Xperia XZ join that list of awesome products. I disagree with the professional reviews about the phones appearance design wise as well as their BIG issue with lack of fingerprint reader. It's design seems to draw lots of appeal in my experience and is a welcome change to the similarly designed Galaxy, iPhone, and Pixel. The phone is definitely not cheap, but if you are looking to upgrade your old phone and want to put your money towards a phone that is at the very least equivalent to if not better than the other flagship phones out there in addition to catching peoples attention and providing a more unique experience, than the Xperia XZ is the perfect choice. As I said my old phone was outdated and I am a big Sony fan so I may be bias, but comparing this to my friends new galaxy and my girlfriends iPhone 6s, I know I made the right choice going with the Xperia XZ.
As an added note, I will say finding special cases will be hard for the XZ as it is not a very common phone, but if you get the Forest Blue I would recommend a clear color because the phone looks great as is.

Thank you for review. I never understood why the "professional" reviews always trashed Sony. Their designs had always been different and for once where innovation could be actually used appropriately, they are criticized for it. If you look at user reviews of this phone elsewhere, you will see how rampant this is as they just repeat the same complaints reviews have. The fingerprint scanner is extremely overrated and glad you mentioned this because it really isn't a needed feature as the media makes it out to be. If swiping is hard to unlock the phone, then people have really lost it. Anyways, glad to see a fair review and hopefully I can try this phone out if I decide to replace my Z3+, although so far I have had zero issues with it.

Conquer virtual enemies with this Dell Inspiron desktop. It has an AMD Radeon graphics card with 8GB of dedicated video memory for fast image rendering, and its powerful AMD Ryzen 7 processor and 16GB of DDR4 RAM run multiple programs, games and browsers simultaneously. This Dell Inspiron desktop has a 1TB hard drive for plenty of long-term game storage.

This Desktop Says, It doesnt have a mouse included, Can you please recommend me a mouse for this? Also How many watts for the psu? And is it a 80+ Psu atleast?

The desktop does come with a basic USB mouse and keyboard. The power supply is total 460 watts and there is no 80 plus certification logo on the power supply itself. As for a mouse, I currently use the Razer Taipan 8200 DPI mouse and its pretty comfortable.

Yes, the vacuum cleaner does have an on/off switch for the roller bar. It also shuts off when it is shifted back to upright position.

Hope this helps !
