Sandbox's are fun

If you like Sandbox games this is a game for you. If you don't, well, you should not buy it. Crackdown was built on the Halo engine (Havok). There are some similarities, but mostly only the life/shield bar. Overall you are a clone that gets better as you do things. To explain this... basically if you use guns your guns skill gets better, as you drive cars your cars skill gets better and so on. You are fighting crime and trying to eradicate the cities of their gangs. There are a lot of other things to do as well like rooftop races and car races. You can play co-op with a friend online through x-box live. The city is huge and you can go up the buildings as well which makes it even bigger.
Achievements are a good range from very difficult to average. I would say there is not much in the way of "easy" achievements.
What's great about it: It's a sandbox game
What's not so great: Can be a little tough in places
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good tactical infultration

G.R.A.W. is a really fun game, great co-op (although a little hard at times), great Campaign, and great online play. Everything is tactical so you have to make sure and get things done slowly and surely. Achievements for this game are fair. There is a couple like being number one on the leader board that I don't like. It would be an Achievement to get it though. All in all, I do recommend this game to anyone who enjoys team based tactical infiltration games.
What's great about it: Great sound and realism
What's not so great: Playing level after level in Mexico can be boring

Great game

I'm not sure this game needs another review, but at the same time I like people to know what I think. Gears of War is an excellent game. The single player graphically is phenomenal and the facts that you can play it with a friend on the same x-box 360 or through Xbox live from different countries. The campaign is a little short, but certainly fun to play and worth going through a few times. During the game you will find "cog" tags which if you find all of them you will receive some achievements for (I love hidden things in games). Online death match I do not like that much. It is broken, no respawn which makes it more real, but not fun. A short game is the best reason for it all. Also, you can't play ranked games with your friends, or with two people on the same x-box 360. Gears of War is still an extremely fun game.
The Achievements on this game are good enough a good mix of easy, intermediate, and hard. Although the hard ones seem a little too hard, but if you get them it's probably a good feeling.
What's great about it: Graphics, co-op play, and hidden cogs.
What's not so great: Online ranked games.

Platform fun

Kameo is a lot of fun. It is a little cutesy but at the same time very fun. This game does have some annoying plat former puzzles, which you can find on most plat forming games. If you are used to plat formers you won't have much trouble here. In Kameo you can morph into a number of different spirits which all have different abilities. This makes for a lot of versatility and fun. You can upgrade your "pets" so as to make them stronger and get even more powers by finding fruitlike things scattered throughout the world. You can play the games on co-op and over x-box live now. A great deal of fun and very recommended for plat former lovers.
Achievements for this game range from average throughout the game to very difficult to get. You can replay the levels and receive scores. If you get high enough scores you will open unlockables and earn achievements. These are nearly impossible... at least for me.
What's great about it: Long and fun storyline
What's not so great: Cutsey, platformer puzzles

Fun filled movie

Night at the Museum is a wonderful movie. It is fun to watch, parts make you bust out laughing and it's got an intriguing idea. Ben Stiller plays someone out of work waiting for the next big chance. He then gets a job as a night guard at the museum which turns out to be an adventure in itself because everything in the museum comes to life at night. There is a little bit of a twist were some people who didn't need to be bad turn out to be and they kind of don't explain this story arch to its much needed conclusion. All in all I would recommend this title to anyone who enjoys comedy, history, or Ben Stiller.
What's great about it: Enjoyable movie.
What's not so great: There is a part that does not make sense thrown in.

Movie trivia at it's best!

I would say this is one of the best ideas in the world. I had Scene it? as a board game and that was/is a lot of fun. This brings it to a whole new level. It comes with 4 wireless controllers that you use to buzz in and answer the questions with. They do run on batteries and you do have to plug in a receiver in order to work them but they have a good distance and the receiver cord is long as well. The game itself is a lot of fun. It is setup so that it saves which questions you were asked and it takes a long time to have the questions repeated. I played almost non-stop for 2 days (probably about 12 hours altogether) after I got it. I started getting a little bit of repeats in 2 of the categories at that time. Although if there are more then 1800 questions as it stats. You could play for 30 hours at 1 question a minute before you start getting repeats. I am sure they will remedy this with downloadable add-ons for it (although it's worth it anyway). The game has a few modes such as long play, short play, and party play. They are all self-explanatory.
Achievements are very nice. You can earn some of them very quickly and others will take awhile to receive.
All in all a very good buy, and well worth getting it right away.
What's great about it: Scene it? on a console.
What's not so great: Could be more questions...

Coming soon is a teen coming of age movie that explores the female’s side of it. Due to this I thought it was a great movie because most of these types of movies follow guys. Coming soon follows a group of rich girls in a private school, trying to figure out how to achieve pleasure from their experiences. Quirky Ryan Reynolds plays a rich kid trying to hide who he is.
All in all a great movie for fans of comedy, teen movies, or Ryan Reynolds.

WWII, FPS, what else could you want?

Call of Duty 2 is an excellent game. It takes you through a few different storylines as different people fighting for the Allies. The World War II storyline is very well done, the environments, the graphics all top notch for being an original release on the Xbox 360. The Graphics are crisp and clean. The Campaign mode is long enough to be worth playing as well. You can change the difficulty from easy which you can run through every level without thinking, to veteran where you can get killed by 1 or 2 hits. The game does reward you for playing on veteran though with its achievements.
Multiplayer on this game in my opinion is a little lacking (this is why the game lost a star to me). It seems like there was only a multiplayer added because FPS games are supposed to have them. Not a lot of thought or design put it. You can buy a map pack for it though which I have not played. And there are no achievements for multiplayer.
Achievements all come from single player campaign mode. They are very well done; you certainly get rewarded well for playing each level on the highest difficulty with them. I think this is a must have game for WWII enthusiasts or even just FPS enthusiasts.

Great game!!

Rainbow Six Vegas really has the trifecta of this style of games in place. First you have the campaign which starts you out in bland dry Mexico (starts out very boring if you've played GRAW or GRAW2) and brings you all the way into Las Vegas. You fight within Casinos and on the streets. You also control a small squad which has very good A.I. and easy controls. As you fight your way through the terrorists you will notice the awesome graphics (and if you play enough, the ever changing posters and advertisements throughout the levels).
Secondly, you can play or co-op either on the same TV or over x-box live. For Co-op you can play through the same campaign which is definitely very fun to do with a friend. There is also a mode called T-Hunt, or Terrorist Hunt which you have a set amount of time to kill all the terrorists in the levels. I recommend online co-op for this one and not split screen because it is a lot easier to kill 25 terrorists with 4-8 people then with only 2 (in this mode you can only die once, no respawn).
Thirdly, there are online matches. A lot of different modes from the normal free for all death match to the more tactical and skilled saving hostages. Also, holding the briefcase for the longest time and more. You rise through the ranks as you go and get the ability to upgrade and customize your own character as you play through the online mode. You can even take a picture of yourself with the camera for the Xbox 360 and make that the face on your person.
During all game play types the game is mostly First person, but you can cover behind walls and either "blind fire", or come out and aim and shoot. This mode is in 3rd person mode. Either way it blends together in a very easy to learn and easy to control way.
Achievements are great in this one, a huge variety for all different modes; you will find a few easy medium and hard ones to get. (For an easy one buy or borrow the camera, you get 30 points for taking a picture of yourself with it)
All in all I would say this is a must have if you like first person shooters or tactical infiltration games. It's got the best of both worlds combined. I strongly recommend this game.

Synopsis You don't have to check your rear-view mirror to know the cop is still on your tail. The siren is enough of an indicator. This isn't your first high-speed pursuit. In fact, you can tell how close he is by the volume of the siren as it bounces off of store fronts, mailboxes and other vehicles. And here's the worst part: you were winning that street race until the cops showed up and ruined everything. You throw a quick shift and floor the accelerator, making the tires squeak and burying the needle on the tachometer. You dart between two SUVs and hang a quick left, then another. The siren fades. After it disappears all together, you breathe a sigh of relief and think about your next race.Need for Speed: Most Wanted combines the adrenaline rush of street racing with the pulse-pounding intensity of high-speed police pursuits. Get behind the wheel of the most sought-after street machines, including tuners, muscle cars, exotics and more. Climb the ladder in the local racing scene as you pile up victories and build a reputation. It will take a ton of fine-tuning to turn your car into the meanest monster on four wheels. A dynamic, open environment is your playground, so make the most of it to win races and outwit the police. Go online and intensify the experience on Xbox Live. This is no Sunday drive. This is illegal street racing.

A must have for racing fans...

This is by far the best Need for Speed game yet. The premise of the story is that there is a "Black List" with 15 drivers on it and you want to be number 1. In order to get there you have to go through a series of trials including Cop chases, cost to the city, circuit races, sprint races, and the boss race where if you win you have the chance to win their car. There are more race types then this as well.
NFS: Most Wanted is graphically a very clean game on the Xbox 360. It has a lot of customizability on the cars, and on top of that a huge selection of cars to choose from. Customization wise you can add NOS to your car, change and customize the wheels, rims, hood, spoiler, paintjob, add graphics to the car, body kits, roof scoop, etc. Also, when driving your window and sides do show damage, which is definitely a neat thing to see what your car looks like after a long cop chase.
There is also a challenge mode where you have to complete certain tasks, things like evade the police in under 2:00 min. Or evade the police in a dump truck or mini van. There are a lot of the modes from the main game as well. This you can unlock new cars with to purchase within the game. There is also an online multiplayer where you can race your cars from in game against others worldwide.
Now one downfall for this game and the reason it lost a star in my mind. EA did not think about the achievements very well and there is none for the challenge mode or the online mode. There are 15 achievements, which you get after every rank you raise on the blacklist. All in all I certainly recommend this game.
