You know most rappers want to be in movies and they usually pick movies that are like their life style, but T. I. on the other hand choose differently. He is not that good as a mild mannered high school senior that loves to skates. Evan Ross is actually good as an urban youth trying to be hard. Big Boi is a hit as the neighborhood drug dealer, which actually contredicts everything I said early, but still he is alot better than T. I.
What's great about it: Big Boi is great and Evan Ross is better
What's not so great: T.I. not as good as you would think

A funny, funny, extremely funny movie with different characters for anyone that wanna see a funnier side to leaving in the hood.
Yep they are back for third installment, and hopefully the last of the Rush Hour movies. It took a big check just for Chris Tucker to just sign on for this flick and Jackis Chan is getting old. The movie is just ok, maybe because it took too long to make and when they started it seem like they rushed this flick. If you like the first two, you might like it, but no gurantees
What's great about it: See these two again
What's not so great: Jackie is getting too old for his own stunts
They are both back and now they are rising all kinds of mess from China and even back to the States. Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker are just great together with the crazy comedy and intense fighting scenes.
It's nice to see Columbia TriStar putting so much effort into a DVD package. The transfer is brilliant, both in image and sound. A subtlety of light is captured in the widescreen frame, successfully communicating the film's sultriness. The color is rich and definite, with the pastels and shadows of a 1940s Los Angeles shining through majestically. A key element in creating ambience is the soundtrack, with composer Elmer Bernstein's score interlaced with classic jazz and blues themes. The Dolby Digital 5:1 Audio is pristine and a balanced surround is achieved. The main menu is classy, depicting the features as matinee neon lights, in sync with the overall feel of the film. Scene selections are not run of the mill static shots but mini-screened versions of each scene's beginning. There is an informative commentary with director Carl Franklin, as well as a booklet containing more background. Don Cheadle's screen test, with off-screen involvement heard from both Franklin and lead actor Denzel Washington, is a treat, giving audiences an opportunity to view an event that normally is not accessible to them. Other features include three language and subtitle choices and the theatrical trailer. It would have been nice to see more extensive biographies and filmographies, but all in all, this package is an impressive enhancement of an already attractive film.

This is great movie from beginning to end with the different twists throughout the movie. Don Cheadle is just brilliant as Mouse, even though is role is very short, but it has more of an impact than anyone else.
Russell Mulcahy's action film Riccochet comes to DVD with a standard full-frame transfer. The English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1, a French soundtrack has been recorded in Dolby Digital Surround, and a Spanish soundtrack is available in Dolby Digital Mono. There are no subtitles, but the English soundtrack is closed-captioned. Supplemental materials are limited to cast biographies. For a disc with only a pan-and-scan image and without any compelling extras, this HBO/Rysher disc is priced a little high.

This is a good movie, and Ice-T is pretty good as a drug dealer, but is the really a stretch for him. John Lithgow is brilliant as psychotic killer and Denzel is great also
This single-layered DVD version of the '80s film comes in two picture formats -- widescreen anamorphic (1.85:1 aspect ratio) and standard full-screen (1.33:1 aspect ratio) -- plus the following audio track options: English Dolby Digital 2.0 Surround and Spanish, with subtitles available in English, Spanish, Chinese, Korean, Portuguese, and Thai. Closed captioning is also included. Special or bonus features include an audio commentary narrated by the film's director, a featurette-documentary called "March to Freedom" narrated by Paul Winfield, some production notes, and the usual original theatrical trailers. Picture quality is crisp and natural-looking, but sound quality is what might be expected from an unremastered Dolby 2.0 Surround, much of which comes off as mono.

Great movie with a twist that will have you guessing. Adolph Caesar is just great in this movie, because I actually didn't like him. That's when you know he did a good job, when you finish watching it and say that you can't stand him.
What's great about it: Late-Adolph Caesar is brilliant
Brett Leonard's cyberspace themed thriller Virtuosity comes to DVD with a widescreen anamorphic transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1. English soundtracks are rendered in both Dolby Digital 5.1 and Dolby Digital Surround, while a French soundtrack has also been recorded in Dolby Digital Surround. There are no subtitles, but the English soundtracks are closed-captioned. Supplemental materials include the trailer. This is a fine release from Paramount that boasts excellent sound and picture quality.

Good Sci-fi movie

Just a good sci-fi movie to watch with two preimer actors (Washington, and Crowe) that are great together. The special effects are good for this time frame that this movie was made. I hope this is a preview for this year's upcoming movie American Gangster (2007)
What's great about it: Okay special effects, maybe too early for its time
Gregory Hoblit's supernatural thriller Fallen comes to DVD with a pair of images. The widescreen anamorphic transfer preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 2.35:1, which is preferable to the standard full-frame 1.33:1 image. A closed-captioned English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1, while a French soundtrack has been recorded in Dolby Digital Surround. English, Spanish, and French subtitles are accessible. Supplemental materials include an audio commentary by the director, producer, and screenwriter, production notes, and a theatrical trailer. This solid entertainment has been given a quality DVD release that will please the film's fans and will probably entice the uninitiated.

This is one of the great thillers that will have guessing about the ending and whats really going on. John Goodman is a straight trip in this one, and Denzel does another great job as Det. John Hobbes
