A funny date movie

I love this movie because of the chemistry between Bernie Mac and Ashton Kutcher. This movie deals with all the crazy thoughts that most people have on black and white relationships.

I loved the first XXX, but this one was a little weak. The plot wasn't as good as thought it would be, and what was up with X to the Z, why was he in the movie. That scene with them jacking the tank was just ridiculous

Rusty Cundieff's horror anthology set in the inner city, Tales From the Hood comes to DVD with a standard full-frame transfer. An English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital Surround, while a Spanish soundtrack has been recorded in Dolby Digital Mono. There are no subtitles on this release, but the English soundtrack is closed-captioned. Supplemental materials include biographies of the cast. HBO/Rysher has done a below average job on this title, but the inexpensive list price may make it attractive to genre enthusiasts.

In 1989, John Madden Football decleated its rivals, changing the face of football video games forever by being the first to offer authentic 11-on-11 action and player statistical ratings. With unheralded dedication to Xs and Os and hall-of-fame coach John Madden's insight and ingenuity, the Madden series began by laying a foundation of realism that emphasized the playbook as much as the playing field. Nineteen years later, the longest-running sports franchise of all time presents the latest and most exciting edition to storm your living room. Madden NFL 08 is geared up and ready to fly off your screen with astounding graphics, in-depth play calling, amazing player likenesses, authentic stadiums and more that will thrust you into the exciting world of professional football.Lead your favorite team to a Super Bowl championship as you manage your roster, customize your playbook and conquer a grueling schedule. Take the field as your favorite NFL superstars, and experience the rush of launching a game-winning pass or making a quarterback eat turf on fourth and goal. Relish the genuine sights and sounds of the NFL as you sprint for pay dirt in authentic stadiums. It's pain and passion; chemistry and catastrophe. It's watching your dreams go out on a stretcher and fighting for inches that feel like miles. It's the hard-hitting, nerve-rattling world of NFL football as only Madden can deliver. It's the game the players play.

Now I have to be honest, I have never been good at Madden and hadn't played Madded since it was on Sega enesis (yeah, I go back that far). I played Madden 07 and I loved that NFL Streets control, maybe because I'm really good at NFL STREETS (thats a different story though), but I liked that enteractive control. Now, just when I start getting good at Madden, they take away that control. I still like this version, but I find myself still playing 07
What's not so great: They took away the NFL STREETScontrol

Robin Williams and Billy Crystal star in the comedy Father's Day, directed by Ivan Reitman. This two-sided Warner Bros. disc comes with both full-frame and widescreen transfers. Audio is available in Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound with subtitles available in English, French, and Spanish. Special features include the theatrical trailer, production notes, recommendations, and information on the cast and crew.

The third of George Miller's Mad Max films, Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome comes to DVD with a widescreen anamorphic transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 2.35:1. A closed-captioned English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1, while a French soundtrack has been recorded in Dolby Digital Surround. English, French, and Spanish subtitles are accessible. Supplemental materials include production notes and theatrical trailers. This release from Warner Bros. does a superb job of presenting the film, though surely the series' devoted fans would want more bonus features.

Welcome to the Thunderdome

This is great action movie to watch, especially if you loved Mad Max. Ms. Anna May AKA Tina Turner was actually great as the Queen of the Thunderdome, which was a big stretch since she had just left Ike Turner

Richard Donner's big-screen adaptation of the low-key Western series Maverick comes to DVD with a widescreen anamorphic transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 2.35:1. English and French soundtracks are rendered in Dolby Digital Surround. There are neither subtitles nor closed-captions on this release. Supplemental materials are limited to production notes. The film's easy charm comes through on the small screen just as easily as it did in theaters. Fans of the film will be satisfied with the picture and sound on this otherwise bare-bones release.

The third Shakespearean adaptation for renowned filmmaker Franco Zeffirelli, Hamlet earned two Academy Award nominations in 1991 and allowed star Mel Gibson to flex some of his more dramatic acting chops. On this DVD release from Warner Home Video, the film is presented in the widescreen format with an anamorphic transfer. The original English soundtrack has been rendered in Dolby Digital 2.0 sound with English, Spanish, and French subtitles available. Along with an introduction by Gibson, the film is supplemented by a pair of featurettes: "Hamlet: An Actor's Journey" delves into the process of performing the bard from a thespians point of view, while "Mel Gibson: To Be or Not to Be" takes viewers behind the scenes for glimpses at the making of the film.

Fans of this lighthearted romantic fluff will no doubt be pleased with Paramount's DVD edition. The picture is an eye-pleasing 1.85:1 anamorphic transfer that nicely captures the Chicago settings. A film as dialogue-heavy as this one doesn't usually benefit from Dolby Digital 5.1, but certain scenes do stand out, most notably during Mel Gibson's dancing to Frank Sinatra. Director Nancy Meyers and production designer Jon Hutman provide a commentary that is more informative than one might expect. Meyers gives some good behind-the-scenes info and shares some good anecdotes as well. Additionally, there are a pair of featurettes that are mostly promotional in nature, but offer up some good footage of the film being shot, as well as a couple of good bits about the film's creation. A complaint must be lodged about the lack of deleted scenes, as the included trailers show a handful of sequences that were indeed removed from the final cut. Still, it's a minor quibble when compared to the other solid offerings to be found on this DVD.

I love this movie so much, maybe because I don't understand women and wished this could have been true, but it is funny to see what we could do if we knew what woman wanted
