Tracy Morgan is a goof but this DVD is really funny. Even one of the Brian Fellow sketches would make it worth the buy!
This set serves up every episode from the entire run of the sitcom The Addams Family, which was based on the macabre cartoons of Charles Addams, and starred John Astin as the patriarch of the happy if ghoulish title clan.

This is a wonderful, funny show; it's a piece of our American History, and I love it! :)
This family comedy has been given a simple but adequate presentation on DVD. Curly Sue is presented in a widescreen transfer at its original aspect ratio of 1.85:1; the image is letterboxed on conventional televisions and enhanced for 16 x 9 playback on widescreen monitors. The film's English-language audio has been remixed for playback in Dolby Digital Surround. The disc also includes alternate audio tracks in French and Portuguese, as well as subtitles in English, French, Spanish, and Portuguese. The feature is also closed captioned in English.

This movie is just so great. It's heartwarming, very funny, and adorable. No deleted scenes on the DVD, but a great commentary from Alisan Porter, who played Curly Sue.
What's great about it: sweet, funny
What's not so great: comes in that obnoxious cardboard-front case
An ocean-themed Florida amusement park comes under attack from an angry Great White shark in this third installment of the horror series. The film maintains only a loose relationship to the original Steven Spielberg hit, centering on Mike (Dennis Quaid) and Sean (John Putch), the sons of police chief Martin Brody (originally played by Roy Scheider). Mike works at Sea World, where a baby Great White shark has accidentially been let into the park. Soon, the baby's vicious and extremely powerful mother comes in search of her child. The film focuses most of its attention on the series of tense shark attacks that follow, as tourists run for their lives while the park workers struggle to destroy the sharp-toothed beast. The suspense sequences were made somewhat more memorable during the film's original release with 3-D photography, an attribute lost on video, thereby removing the most distinctive element of an otherwise run-of-the-mill sequel.

This movie is delicious. If you have a love of bad animal-attack movies like I do, this is a must-see. If you expect all shark movies to be perfect and realistic every second, with flawless acting, then you have no business watching ANY shark movie. Buy this movie, watch it, get your pants scared off, and wallow in the melodrama!!! It's wonderful!!! :) (And actually, this isn't a "bad" movie; it's very good--especially compared with some other ones out there!)
As a side note: this IS a 3D movie, but the 3D effects cannot be seen on a regular TV.

I have an epson printer, and I have tried both epson paper and cheaper paper with it. The epson paper is definitely better. It's sharp and true to color; I love it!
Tony Shalhoub stars as Adrian Monk, a gifted detective who happens to suffer from obsessive-compulsive disorder, in this DVD collection featuring episodes from the hit television series Monk. Walking a fine line between drama and comedy, the 16 episodes on Monk: Season Three have been transferred to disc in the widescreen aspect ratio of 1.78:1, which has been enhanced for anamorphic play on 16 x 9 monitors. The audio has been mastered in Dolby Digital Stereo; the dialogue is in English, with optional subtitles in Spanish and French.

This season of Monk (like all of them) is just great. I definitely recommend that any fan buy it; besides being great, it's also Sharona's last season and Natalie's first. It's too good to miss!
What's great about it: excellent acting, super funny, great plots
1987's science fiction/romance/comedy/action Innerspace comes to DVD, with some decent results that will surely please fans. Though the image does occasionally show some grain and signs of wear, those deficiencies are kept in check and the transfer does look surprisingly sharp. The anamorphic 1.85:1 picture displays nice color and generally good detail. Though far from outstanding, there really isn't much to criticize. The sound, on the other hand, isn't very impressive. Remastering a new 5.1 Dolby Digital track was hardly worth the effort. All sound is from the main, front speaker with little use of the sides and virtually no utilization of the surrounds. While dialogue and effects are clear, this type of film could have taken advantage of a far wider sound field, but that simply isn't the case here. In addition to English, there are tracks in French, and strangely enough, Japanese. As for extra material, there is the usual trailer, but more importantly, a wonderfully enthusiastic commentary from director Joe Dante, producer Michael Finnell, costars Kevin McCarthy and Robert Picardo and Visual Effects Supervisor Dennis Murren. They are a lively group, with jokes and interesting facts about the making of the film. Warner can be commended for giving this lesser known film a new life with this nice disc.

This movie is one of my all-time favorites. It's SO funny; if you ever doubted that Martin Short is one of the funniest actors ever, this movie will make you certain!
Monk is a smart, funny show, that doesn't need to rely on bodily humor or racy jokes or situations; this show's writers are too smart and talented for that! It's very funny and every show is a great, intriguing plot. Everyone should watch Monk!
What's great about it: impeccable acting, writing, etc.; funny, heartwarming
