First thing you will notice is the packaging of the Aurora Mini, its well thought out with soft pouches included, one that holds the speaker and the other that holds your documentation and Micro USB charging cable.
The Aurora Mini is designed in Sweden and manufactured in China. The speaker itself is very light but still feels well built. Prior to using the Aurora Mini, its Lithium Battery must be fully charged. As I mentioned, the Micro USB cable is included but what’s not included is a wall adapter so you need to use one you already have.
Also included is a remote that is used to control all of the functions of the speaker including volume, skipping tracks etc as well as giving you the ability to customize the colors displayed by the Aurora Mini.

When plugging it in to charge, the speaker illuminates in a soft red glow to signify that its charging which is pretty cool, the red glow turns off once the Aurora Mini is fully charged. Battery life is claimed to be 3.5 – 9 hours which is a big swing, I will tell you that I used it for just over 4 hours and it was still going without needing a charge.
Once fully charged I was able to pair it with my iPhone 11 Pro Max very easily and on the first try.
With the 9 different colors and 4 different color modes, you can set the mood with ease via the remote.
OK, so its got a cool design and will look great outside on those summer nights with the illumination, but how does it sound? Surprisingly, it sounds a lot better than I thought it would. The 5W speaker lacks deep bass but most speakers of this size do, there is adequate volume and with the Splash Proof feature you can use this at the pool as well with no concerns.
Overall if you are looking for a cool little speaker with some interesting features to be your backyard companion then this can certainly fit the bill.

The Humidifier of the future today…

When unboxing the Dyson Pure Humidify + Cool (PH01) you can tell the thought that goes into everything Dyson does is top notch. From the way everything is packed into the box to the easy and thoughtful way you can unbox the Pure Humidify with ease.
Setup is east, only minor assembly is required, just take some packing tape off the PH01, install the filters and fill the reservoir with water. The cool thing about the water reservoir is once you fill to the fill line and go t install you will notice on the bottom are wheels so it just rolls into place, again it’s the little things.
Download the Dyson App and link up your PH01 to use with your smartphone. Can be used to manually turn features on and off as well as schedule on time and customize your PH01’s operation.
There is an included remote that you can use to operate the PH01 as well.
I have allergies and love the fact that this will not only help to remove allergens (with the Glass HEPA Filter) from the air but will get the room to the proper Humidity automatically.
The PH01 will do an analysis of your rooms air quality and humidity levels in real time and work to get them both to proper levels.
I’m using this in a very large living room and after running the PH01 for a while I noticed that my eyes were not itchy and there was an overall better atmosphere within the living room.
You can utilize the humidifier function or not and just utilize the air purifying function, your choice.
Cleaning seems fairly easy from the description, but I haven’t used it enough yet to need to do so.
If the atmosphere within your house is important to you then get this machine, if you have allergies its almost a must as far as I’m concerned.
Great design and tech features as always from Dyson.

Perfect for those emergency situations

I waited for the right moment to present itself to review this Stain Remover. Sure enough this week it presented itself.
Our family dog ended up throwing up on a white rug of ours, of course he couldn't do that on the wood floor right next to the rug, but that's the way it goes I guess.
Hoover Oxy Tough Stain Remover to the rescue.
I sprayed the Stain Remover on the area (after cleaning up the larger stuff..I know..gross) and left it on the stain for about 7 minutes or so.
Blotted the area with a paper towel and like magic the stain was almost all gone. I hit the area one more time with a lighter application of the stain remover and that took care of it 100%.

Perfect Travel Companion

First off let me say that I travel for business a LOT, most of the time its for 1-3 days.
I have had many backpacks in my day and I can safely say this…the Nomatic Travel Pack is the BEST backpack I have ever had.
I never check bags and at the most travel with a small roller bag and a backpack. The Nomatic Travel Pack is perfect to fit under the seat (in 20L configuration) or in the overhead (in 30L configuration).
The quality of construction is second to none, the zippers work flawlessly and securely seal the contents of your backpack in, its waterproof and the straps can be tucked in so as to use it as more of a briefcase. I also love how you can use the back panel to slide over a luggage handle if you have a roller bag to be able to move freely. The straps are reasonably comfortable and adjust easily, the only complaint I have is there isn’t a convenient place to put the excess strap if you have some dangling which would be more convenient.
I just got back from taking the backpack on a two day trip and the Nomatic Travel Pack was a great companion. I forced myself to use just the Nomatic Travel Pack for everything for my trip including all of my clothes, electronics etc

I unzipped the expandable zipper so it would be in the 30L capacity mode, I didn’t pack any shoes as I think that would take too much room up so if you need multiple shoes this might not be the only bag you need for your trip but there is an area for shoes if you wanted to pack them. The best way to pack this is to use separate packing cubes but the capacity (if you pack conservatively) is enough for up to 3 days in my opinion.
I also travel with a laptop and iPad as well as various cords, chargers and battery packs. There is more than enough room in the other half of the Nomatic Travel Pack with all the compartments etc to accommodate all of your electronic needs. There is a great place to keep your phone in at the top of the pack that has a nice soft lining and there is a cool hard eyeglass case included for you to keep sunglasses or an extra pair of glasses in.
There is room for two water bottles and a cool zippered secret compartment under the strap area to keep a passport, extra money etc

The last thing that I will mention is I truly appreciate the fact that the Nomatic Travel Pack can stand up and doesn’t fall over when you place it on the ground or floor, every other backpack I have had pretty much just falls down and that’s always bothered me.
Overall for the road warrior, occasional traveler or even for everyday use I love the Nomatic Travel Pack and definitely recommend it.

The BEST tool to capture your audio

If you are looking for a high quality microphone that works with PC/Mac and iOS then search no more. You can use the very clever included legs that fold out to mount on a table or other surface or mount on a mic mount with the usual standard threads. The audio captured sounds great, you can use with a monitor or without.
I use with my iPhone and iPad. If using the iPad pro as I do you will need a USB to USB C adapter but once you do it works flawlessly. You also need to make sure the app you use will allow external mic use.
In closing don't hesitate to buy this, its is a high quality tool for creators.

The Hoover One PWR Hard Surface Cordless Sweeper is very easy to set up, just charge the One PWR battery that is supplied with the Cordless Sweeper, install on the top of the sweeper with a satisfying click and you are good to go.
The One PWR Hard Surface Cordless Sweeper gives about 85 MPH of velocity which isn’t the most powerful of blowers but in a cordless form that’s to be expected. For the deck or sidewalk touch up it has just the right size and convenience factor to fit the bill.
I actually use a blower in a somewhat unorthodox manner, I use a blower to blow the water off of my cars when I wash them so as to avoid scratches from a towel etc. The One PWR Hard Surface Cordless Sweeper is just what the doctor ordered for a more convenient way for me to wash my car and use a blower, prior to this I was using a corded blower which is unwieldy with having to drag the plug around.
The other plus to the One PWR Hard Surface Cordless Sweeper is it is a first step in the Hoover One PWR ecosystem that has a wide variety of helpful vacuums that use the same One PWR Battery.
Looking forward to using this to wash my car, do the occasional deck touch up and to purchasing other items in the One PWR family.

Reliable Peace of Mind

I live in a somewhat remote area of NY that has the occasional power outage due to tree limbs knocking down utility wires etc. This happens at least 4-10 times per year. I also work out of the house so having uninterrupted power to be able to save work if needed during a power outage is very important to me.
The APC Back-UPS Pro 1000 gives me peace of mind for these situations.
You get 4 Battery Backup outlets and 4 Surge Protection outlets and can hook up your coax & RJ45 wires for dataline surge protection.
Setup is easy and the PowerChute software helps you configure and monitor your APC Back-UPS Pro 1000, although you don’t need to install the software, with the great front display you can pretty much see all the info you need. Among the things you can configure with the software are power on sequences, monitor the battery and force hibernation etc. The runtime I experienced when testing was just about 35 mins or so which is sufficient for me to do what I need to do and power down.
Overall the APC Back-UPS Pro 1000 gives the reliable peace of mind I need as losing power is a regular occurrence for me and I need something to help with that.

If you are looking for a quick charging shaver that you can travel with and use wet or dry look no further. The 3500 S3212 is easy to keep clean which is always important with electric shavers. The shave is close with no irritation on the face and it has a easy to use pop up trimmer. The charge gives about 50 minutes of shaving which is plenty of charge to travel with and not have to bring a cord. Overall a great choice for an every day shaver.

Great build and call quality but just misses...

The Motorola AXH01 is a cordless phone with Alexa Capability, a speakerphone and even an answering machine built in.
The Motorola AXH01 is well built and the thought behind it sounds like this would be a killer product but for me it missed the mark a bit.
For one its not going to be easy for some to get working properly. You need to have the hub connected to both your landline phone line and your router via Cat5 cable. If your landline wiring and router/modem are not in the same area you will need to extend some wiring to get everything to the hub and plug the hub into an electrical outlet. If this were able to use your home WiFi that would certainly have been easier and preferred for most. The handset and handset base just need to be placed somewhere with an electrical outlet which is easy enough.
Setup of the actual phone along with having to link with the Alexa App AND the Hellovoice App are not the most seamless and took me a few tries.

In my opinion this isn’t the greatest implementation of a cordless phone, integration with Alexa is good and if that’s important to you then perhaps this is the phone for you, but based on the issues I mentioned above, you need to take this all into account.
Get it for the high quality phone / speakerphone and Alexa functionality but I give it 3 stars for all the issues I had with it.

Compact, efficient and travel worthy...

I wanted the TRX Elite primarily for use when I travel as I am traveling for business 2-3 weeks of the month. You can also use the TRX Elite at home and anything I say about the system applies to all uses.
First off, you get a lot of functionality put in a small package, the system is smartly packed into the case and setup is fairly simple. Just find a suitable door to anchor to and you are good to go.
There is a TRX app that is very helpful and if you really want to get the most out of the system you should consider paying for the app although its not absolutely necessary. YouTube does have a number of videos with 30 minute workouts, 25 best workouts etc all focused on the TRX system to help with your workout regimen.
I used the system when traveling the past week and found the workout I get with the TRX Elite in a short span of time helps me maintain when I’m away from home. The fact that you get an efficient workout from nothing but straps and your own body weight make this an ingenious system in my opinion.
