Fantastic sound…with Bass!

IEM’s (In ear monitors) are an obsession of mine, I have pairs from almost every manufacturer there is. They range in price form a couple of hundred to over $1,000 for custom IEM’s I have.
With that frame of reference, I’m a bit of a tough customer when it comes to fit, sound quality etc

Upon opening the box, the first thing I noticed was how the build quality was very high, you get the Minor II in the box as well as a micro USB to use for charging and the user manual.
They should be charged for 2 hours out of the box but if you want to get going quickly they will work for just about 2 hours of playtime with just 20 mins of charge time which is cool. On a full charge to do get 12 hours of playtime which is more than enough.

The Minor II’s paired easily to my iPhone and an interesting feature is the Multi-Directional Control Knob. Its just one knob (like a joystick) on the microphone and battery part of the earphones that controls everything you need to with just that one button.
Press for 3 secs to turn it on,push up to raise volume, down to lower volume, when getting a call press once to answer and twice to hang up etc so far Im liking this interesting twist on controls.
The ear fit system helps you adjust each earbud to each ear and they fit snugly and comfortably in my ears.

Now to the music…I was totally blown away by the soundstage, the mids and treble but most importantly the bass. Many IEM’s are lacking in the bass department but the Minor II’s are anything but minor when it comes to bass. Its not overwhelming, its just right and overall the sound is well balanced taking advantage of the 14.2mm Dynamic Drivers.
To pause your music just take the earbuds out of your ears and they attach to each other magnetically to pause the music and that helps for them to remain secure around your neck. Additionally they are somewhat noise canceling as they fit very snugly in your ear but not too much so to make you unaware of your surroundings.
The only (minor) complaint I have is when on a phone call the mic does transmit the ambient noise around you through the mic to your earphones, the callers didn’t complain about background noise to me and I do like some ambient to come through but it was just a tad too much of the ambient noise transfer coming through when on a call for my taste. Again, minor but worth noting.
Overall, if you are looking for great sounding set of wireless IEM’s with the latest Bluetooth codex and a long lasting battery that wont break the bank…you cant go wrong with the Marshall Minor II’s

I was skeptical at first wondering how things would taste and how food would come out of this fryer. So I took some time before writing this review to be sure of the food and my thoughts.
Boy were my concerns unfounded.
Easy to use and feels well built, there are instructions included of course and a short cook book to get you started on some recipes.
The temperature and Timer Dials are on the front and the basket is easy to insert and remove and you are able to put them in the dishwasher after use so how can you go wrong?

Right off the bat I tried the Panko Green Bean Fries and the Parmesan Pickle Chips (since both use Panko bread crumbs and I had some in the house). They both came out fantastic and tasted great and with the minimal oil needed I feel less guilt when eating these fried foods. I’ve made French fries and sweet potato fries as well in the Chefman and all came out great.
The more I use the Chefman the better I get at the outcome, right crispness etc. so you do have to get used to getting the right temp and times set.
Overall you cant go wrong with this great addition to your kitchen.

Download and use the Logitech Ghub program to help customize your buttons, sensitivity settings, game profiles and colors displayed on the mouse itself. There is also a 10g weight to add to the mouse if you want further balance and feel to the mouse, I added the weight and find I prefer with rather than without.
The mouse charges via included micro USB Cable which gives approx 140 hours of game play. The Powerplay Mat is available and this will allow you to have the mouse continuously charge so the battery never runs out which is a pretty cool option (sold separately)
With games such as World of Warcraft where buttons are important, this mouse certainly does the trick.

Upgrade from wireless IP Camera Systems

I have used wireless security cameras for years and there are many advantages to having them. Easy access via an app, no need to drill holes (except maybe to mount the cameras where you need) and flexibility to add more cameras if you want.
The disadvantages to wireless cameras are they are battery operated (although you can hard wire power on some models) but that defeats the purpose of ease of install etc and because they are battery operated you need to change the batteries periodically and you can’t have the cameras constantly on and there is the added expense of batteries every few months.
I got used to the convenience of having cameras around my house etc but found the limitations of not being able to monitor at all times with the wireless cams more and more of a disadvantage...until the Defender 4K system.
If you are handy you will be able to install this system yourself but its much more complicated than wireless systems as you will need to run wires to each camera from the central location you have located the included DVR. So you will have to plan the wiring routes etc but the additional work is definitely worth it.
Once you have mounted and wired the four cameras you will need to set the system up which is fairly easy to do, there are support videos you can find online to help you with install, setup etc if you need. The 1TB HD in the DVR is more than enough to keep what you record.
All I can say is what a difference when compared to my wireless cameras. Video quality is worlds better on the Defender 4K, details can be made out on your recordings that 1080p or 720p aren’t capable of.
Night vision works great and there are many customizable options on the user friendly App.
If you are looking for a wired system or an upgrade from your wireless system, you can’t go wrong with the Defender 4K System.

If you are looking for the latest and greatest in dash cams, your search in my opinion is over...the 422 GW is one of the best in the evolution of dash cams so far.
You get two mounting bases, a typical suction cup mount and a 3M adhesive mount. What I love about how the camera connect to power is it’s a magnetic connection that is both secure and easy to remove. I feel the magnetic power connection is more conducive to plugging and unplugging etc and I will be looking to purchase an additional power cord and mount for my other car so I can take from car to car which to me is a great added bonus.
This is not a 4K model but the video quality is excellent both day and night (part of me thinks that 4K in some applications is overkill) and details such as signs etc are easily recorded. It also has the latitude and longitude displayed which allows for accurate placement of where you were etc in the event of an incident.
While I like that it records as you drive etc the killer app for me is the parking protection. Sensitivity can be adjusted to a point where you really dont get many erroneous recordings and will capture the moment someone tries to bumper car park, providing it happens in the field of view of the cam of course.
Integrated with Alexa is really cool which allows easy voice control of many features and is a definite plus.
The App has great functionality and streams real time video to your phone.
I will be purchasing the rear camera module that easily attaches to the side of the cam for the additional rear view recording.
Overall this is a great dash cam and one of the best of the bunch, you won’t go wrong getting the Nextbase 422 GW.

Hoover with this easy to assemble cordless vac is enter the fray with a strong contender at a good price point.
The unit has great suction and converts from a stick vacuum to a handheld very easily to clean your car, stairs etc. The battery does feel like it takes too long to charge given the advertised life of about 35 min minutes but you can purchase another battery or two to add to your run time. The downside to this obviously is the cost involved although if you invest in other OnePwr Hoover products you will be able to use the battery in multiple devices which adds to convenience as well as helps justify the cost for additional batteries.
In real world use in “Carpet Mode” I got about 20 mins of run time, if not in this mode (for example in Eco mode) you will realize a bit more run time.

The Blade+ is easy to empty when filled with dirt by just detaching and emptying, then you are back in business.

I have had a water pic for years and found myself not using it as much as I should. To me this is the perfect solution to making sure I use my water pik every day.
Fill the reservoir as any water pik and then utilize the flossing toothbrush attachment to do both flossing and brushing at the same time. There is a setting for the Sonic Fusion to signal you to switch from each quadrant of your mouth every 30 seconds so you are sure to brush and floss your whole mouth each time in a two minute period.
The heads are interchangeable (for different people in the household to be able to use) and should be replaced at regular intervals. Overall the Sonic Fusion works great and helps in maintaining oral hygiene which is more and more important.

Turn your iPad into a slim laptop

The build quality of the Slim Folio Pro Keyboard case is typical top notch Logitech. The texture and the way the iPad fits snugly inside is great as is the magnetic closure. There is also a place for the Apple Pencil to be stowed. The keyboard is also illuminated quite nicely when typing which I love. The charge is advertised to last 3 months with 2 hours per day of use so your mileage may vary depending on how much you use the keyboard.
It took me a couple of try’s to get it to sync up with my iPad via Bluetooth but after that the connection was seamless.
I like the protection and the keyboard aspect all in one.
I would definitely recommend for anyone needing a case and keyboard.

Great Gaming and Graphics in an affordable package

The Acer Nitro 5 has an Intel Core i5-9300H processor with a NVIDIA GeForce GTX1650 Graphics card, 8 GB of Ram on board and 128GB Solid State Drive with an additional 1TB HD which make this a pretty capable little machine.
It has a 15.5 inch Full HD IPS Panel that looks fantastic and has in my experience no noticeable lag and has great contrast and viewing from an angle.
A typical plastic laptop body that doesn’t feel cheap in any way, it feels quite sturdy actually and a fantastic red back-lit keyboard.
Sound is adequate from the on-board speakers, I wouldn’t say its fantastic but overall it sounds good with good bass.

As far as battery operation time, I get an average of almost 6 hours, your mileage may vary (up or down) depending upon what you are using the Nitro 5 for.
There are a couple of issues. It does get pretty hot when using for graphics intensive games in particular and it is also lacking an SD card slot so if you want to use this for things other than gaming and web-surfing such as photography then you will need an external card reader in order to use for photo / video processing etc. but given the other pluses these are minor annoyances.

Secure an iPhone X/XS with this OtterBox Otter + Pop Symmetry case. Finally a Pop Socket solution for me

So, my kids have pop sockets on their phones and I just never took to getting one as it felt like a protrusion that would be getting caught on my pants when putting my phone in my pocket etc..
Enter the Otter+Pop Symmetry, this has the otter box safety features we are used to regarding drop protection, it also allows for Qi charging which I use exclusively now to charge my phone (its so convenient) AND this otter Box includes a pop socket!
What makes the inclusion so unique is the pop socket sits in a recess in the case that makes the socket sit relatively flush with the case, so as to not get caught on the edge of your pocket when putting it in pants, a jacket etc
NOW I can have the features of a pop socket (being able to easily hold the phone with one hand is the top one for me) AND the protection of Otter Box.
