The "Coffee Table Book" of DVDs

Being a subscriber to Netflix, I have no real reason to own a DVD collection. After reading Baraka reviews, I made an exception and I am glad I did. This DVD was produced using the highest of production values regarding audio and video. You are taken on a journey to some wonderful, far away places that any well traveled person will recall and appreciate.
Great for meditation and to simply escape. If you can rent the BR DVD and I am pretty sure that you will not only want to add (or start) to your collection, you will want to share the experience with friends and family.
What's great about it: Exceptional audio and Video Quality

• After reading many reviews from BB and other resources, I was confused why so called audiophiles tend to stray and/or have negative comments about DT speakers. I am no audiophile, but I love great sounding audio from movies and music. That said, I bought the Pro 1000 without hearing it first and connected it to my 5.1 system and was very impressed with what I heard. This speaker replaced and infinity (good speaker) and the audio quality improvement was immediately noticeable even before calibration.
• The center channel information is very precise without being overbearing. In fact, this speaker blends very well with the rest of the speakers. I had been satisfied previously with the center channel being autonomous, but now I really like the improved sound stage and how I feel more surrounded (in a very good way) by the audio. I have become very accustomed to my original speakers over time, but I am now strongly considering a 100% DT speaker system. In a word, Bravo!

I have a new Panasonic Blu-ray player.The firmware is already out dated. And I do not have any where to hook up a ethernet net cable on my conputer or
No ethernet net cables hook up on my conputer or internet moden HELP.Ido have one on my blue-ray.
Contact Panasonic's tech support and advise them of your delima. They could either point you to a file location (internet) from which you could copy and burn the update file to a disc to insert into your player for the latest update or they may offer (sometimes at a cost) to send you a disc with the update. In my experience, i have had several updates in in six month period.

Internet compatible - Play MPEGs?
Do any of the internet capible Blue Ray players offer the ability to find MPEGs videos on my network and play them?
Yes. While researching a BD player, verify that it will play the file types that interests you. Some players are able to play a larger variety of file types than others.

Can I watch netflix streaming if my TV is not internet ready but have blu ray internet connectable?
Maybe. Although your BD player may be "internet connectable" you will still have to verify (through Netflix) if it is a Netflix compatible device. most are these days, but check first. Your TV does not have have to be "internet connectable"

I am looking for a specific blu-ray/dvd player
I am looking for a blu-ray player to replace an old multi-input tuner we have now.
I need something with an HDMI input, component(red, white, and yellow) input, and support for surround sound. Perferably blu-ray but I am willing to look into DVD too.

Had horrible experience with Samsung and Google confirms that many others have also. I have recently had a really good experience with LG. My system is 7.1 and supports True hd, dts, etc and i have it connected via HDMI 1.3. Do some research and find the components that suit your personal needs

What does (Bb) mean next to a Blu-Ray disc title?
BD-Live 2.0 is a standard for Blu-ray players that utilizes your internet connection and allows you to download additional content for your BD-Live movie.

No. Nintendo Wii also has this ability.

can you get a blu-ray player that playes all other dvds
All blu-ray players are backwards compatible; meaning that they will all play your existing music cd's and "mass market" movie DVD's. If you are concerned with specific CD type playback compatibility, view the player's specifications and determine if the player accepts the specific Cd type you are concerned with.

remote control and att uverse
have att uverse and told by installer my logitech remote will not work with this - no way to program this or was this money mis spent on expensive remote
Contact Logitech and describe the ATT Universe equipment. Altough (relatively) new old the mass market, I am sure that ATT's equipment will not be (or continue to be) an absent anomaly.
