Signing Myself Up for My Own Talkshow

Joke aside from my title the JLAB Talk Pro is very neat. It is a smart design with beautiful design aesthetic and detail. The metal grill that houses that recognizable blue hue of soft cushion of JLAB products.
I'd say 90% of people I know dislike how they sound when recorded. I include myself in that number because it is always weird to hear myself.
However, as much as it is a anxious thing I got my Talk Pro, plugged it in and tried every one of the settings to see what my voice sounded like. You know what? It isn't as bad as I thought. In fact, what it really highlighted was how low quality phone microphones are and that is probably why we all dislike our voices sometimes.
Now this isn't to say i'm going to start singing tunes but it provided comfort for me knowing that I can know start up a stream for when I play Fortnite and not be annoyed by my own voice. All these other streamers sound normal and I found the right setting to make my voice carry over well.
Given this is my first standalone microphone I was baffled that I got this high tech microphone but it doesn't have it's own speaker. I came to learn that I probably wouldn't like a speaker built in because then there might be an echo.
So I immediately plugged my JLAB earbuds to the microphone and I was quickly making some fun audio clips for myself.
One of the neat and very personal touches was the LED light at the bottom of the device. When propped on the stand if you click through the settings it will change color for you so that you can entertain others watching you use the mic. Not a big whoop but I can appreciate a nice surprise. On top of that the packaging was thoughtful and very much a JLAB surprise when I opened up my box and my microphone was hugged by foam and neatly packaged.
If you've got someone in your home that wants to start a stream, an audio cast for voice blogging, or simply wants to try singing this is a microphone that will get you studio quality sound. I very much enjoy this and can't wait to see how well my stream goes next week!

A Keyboard Lights Me Up with a Smirk

I've had my MX Keys for a few days now and I am enthralled with how well it paired with my Mini. The small bowls in each key were an excellent design touch, as well as the sensors for the keys to light up as your hand approaches, and of course the Bluetooth capability without the dongle.
When I saw Logitech created this keyboard I wanted it because of the smart design features but also because of the dark slate color. It is a nice pop of color on my enamel desk and it just creates a clean like on my furniture.
For charging the keyboard it comes with a USC-C wire so you don't need batteries like other keyboards which I loved. It was about time I invested in one that didn't require them.
Overall this keyboard is quiet and not clunky like other keyboards, it's beautiful to look at, it does more than just type (it knows when your hand is approaching which is so clever), and it is very responsive.
I haven't figured it out yet but there is something clunky when I first turn it on that makes it miss the first few key strokes for my password. It's happened three times and that was weird.
Otherwise this is a great keyboard and will look great in any household because it amps up it's surroundings. I'm a big fan of pieces of technology that double as art!

I have had my Envy for under an hour and i'm already looking through my phone for which pictures I can print. Luckily before I got my printer I got some photo paper in case I loved this printer.
Right off the bat i'll tell you it is amazing to have a printer where I do not need to get on a computer to set it up. This set up was beautiful and simple as can be. It was pretty because the printer is basically walking you through the health of it's setup through these glowing pink, purple, blue, and finally white glowing lights. It is so futuristic looking that I was enamored with the lights and sat there just in silence.
It is probably the thinnest printer I have ever owned that will help all of the family and it comes with a scanner. The scanner lid is a bit flimsy and scares me since we have some high trafficked technology here that can be handled with tough love but we'll survive.
All you have to do is download the application, and at the click of a button the printer sets itself up, let me repeat... "the printer sets itself up"! So once you've plugged the printer in, it walks you through what it needs you to do and the printer does the rest for you.
We are living in amaizing times when I don't need to download a driver off the internet, open my desktop and set up the printer.
HP I am in total awe, and I have wondered where printers like this were for years so thanks for making this such an easy and sleek piece of technology to compliment my office.
I almost want to take everything back out of the printer and restart the setup so that I can watch the magical light show it does for you when you set it up.
Definitely going to be helpful for me and my family as we maneuver through work from home and distance learning this coming year! Oh and one final thought, take a look at the test page with all those vibrant colors. I have had printers that promote bright and vibrancy but never hold up. This was a part of the set up printer test and it is very clean, bright and crisp!

Just as EPIC as they are described

I've had my Epic earphones for a week and the best part is these are some functional, fun, and crisp for voice tuned earphones.
My biggest piece of enjoyment behind the Epics is the four different microphones that have allowed me to leave these on after a workout to take a work phone call. Working from home has changed a bit lately and I get calls during all sorts of activities but I used to have to switch from my old JLABS to handset mode.
JLAB definitely thought about the voice quality for taking calls on the EPICS.
Setup was quite simple with a short charge after unboxing, holding the JLAB button down, pairing with bluetooth and off I went on my first jog with them.

My downside for headphones like this is always the same. You must be okay with the wire and the rubber neck component behind your neck. Personally it doesn't bother me and since I sweat quite a bit, sometimes earbuds slip out into the grass. With these if they slip out they'll magnetize to each other around your neck so that's also cool.
The Epics are surely a set of earbuds that you'll be able to put through a workout and not flinch if you give them a small bump. They also come with extra eartips and a nice bag as you'll see pictured here.
Now go outside and enjoy this summer with these EPIC earbuds. I'm recently listening to a lot of EDM music and Country music which are polar ends in style but one has awesome bass and electronic synths and the other has acoustics and an emphasis on drums. Both really sound great so any style of music will work with these!

Made Simple and Made Oh... So Right!

In a time where I thought a phone camera suited me for everything and I didn’t need a Vlogging camera. Sony proves me wrong, and I’m glad they did!
As I type this I’m listing places near and far I could take this camera to capture moments with the perfect shot! As a point and shoot camera it adjusts well to depict exactly what I want. You’ll notice I love dog pictures and food!
This camera brings all the muscle and all the fluff you need/want in a camera to capture life’s moments.
As my doggo begins to age I wanted something to capture moments of him and I. The ZV-1 is doing that and inspiring me enough to take him out and have some fun adventures.
I’ve never been able to master the blur in the background while just having one subject be in focus. The ZV-1 does it! The tripod is amazing and easy to set up, I learned to transfer photos from the camera to my phone all through wifi (never having to connect the camera to a computer).
There are so many untapped features like the slow motion, color grading which I haven’t learned yet, time lapse for fun on the river and more!
If you can get the shooting grip it makes the camera so dynamic and you feel like a camera person shooting a movie. The touchscreen that you’re using to capture life is the perfect size and provides crisp, quality picture.
This is a great fit for someone who is a professional or someone like me who wants a camera that can grow with me and my skill.
It’s that time of year for family events outside and I can’t wait to flex my picture taking skills with everyone and to print out a photo of my little doggo to post on my wall.
Usually I have some sort of downside but there isn’t one for me with the ZV-1. It is utterly been so helpful capturing moments and home and will be my companion of trips this summer and winter!

iOS Shortcuts and a Light Up Keyboard

What a sweet folio to alternate between business and fun trips. I recently got my folio for on the go and because of the backlit (dimmable) keyboard for presenting in the dark conference room. The quick lock button is also amazing in case I quickly need to step away from my iPad (making iPads resemble a laptop very closely)!
I hate smudging my iPad screen and now I can slide through stacks with ease using my keyboard.
Although I haven’t had it for the three months of battery life span it advertises I can tell that this was designed for optimal use with as little power output as needed (finally a USB-C keyboard charging port). Having lots of wires can be maddening, I have a tangled box of them to prove it!
Another amazing feature is the mirrored iOS keys which make this folio feel so familiar.
My two draw backs are the clasp’s material which seems flimsy and not as though it will weather well through time and the bulk of the folio when folded in half for sketching/reading.
Not a huge deal breaker but this is definitely a keeper. When it is safe to fly again I can’t wait to prop this darling up in my airplane seat and be able to work in the dimmed cabin.
Overall a great addition to my travel gear, amazing packaging that was very delicately prepared, and a great box to store my folio in between switching out alternates as needed.

Mini-Mouse and Slim for Travel

I’m really enjoying the Pebble mousse for my iPad. I can’t say it’s a game changer just yet because it has some mechanical things like tracking and connectivity to work through.
However, the mouse is so slim, and light that it’s pretty stinking cool!
I work on various screens and smudging my screen is so annoying so this has helped avoid that.
I wish it were rechargeable but I’m sure that’s something that could happen down the line.
Set up was a breeze and I like that I was able to synch it with both my iPads.

Speaker for Special Hang Outs

So I’ve had my Mooni for about a week now and I really enjoy it. This speaker is a conversation piece and won’t replace my outdoor system but it is perfect for place tunes while cooking outside or laying out in the sun and reading.
I spent about five hours the other day listening to ambient music and reading with my pup and the two of us just sat by a fire and listened to music.
The lighting and modes that the Mooni has are neat. Personally I like the soft glowing pulse that changes color. A neighbor complimented it and again we had a conversation on how great it sounded.
My only pitfall for the Mooni is the remote and the responsiveness of the buttons. I changed the battery thinking it might be faulty but the remote doesn’t respond well to the appropriate buttons pressed. I’ll press the volume up button and it pauses the music.
Otherwise and great speaker and art piece for your backyard. I wish I had more to pair!

Powerful Range and Great Sound

I'd like to kick this off with how much I enjoyed not having to get a sub woofer when it has built in subs and powerful ones at that! At first glance I was confused because the setup seemed almost to easy for me not to have another piece of audio equipment to pair with my device.
Then I played some tunes from bands that usually stand my test for quality audio. I played some Elvis of course and I could hear the orchestra in the back, I played some Paramore and the 3-D sound was amazing. I didn't get to go to the Red Rocks show so this was an awesome feature to discover.
The 3D feature fills the room in a different way, there isn't a way for me to describe how funky you ears feel at first and then you realize it's because it sound like the sound is coming from every angle.
That brings me to the Bluetooth process which didn't take long to set up at all. The game room we have in this office is clean and neat so we wanted something that will compliment the room but still give great sound when company is over.
I am astounded by this sound bar because I have had Yamaha speakers in cars but never in my house for TV and leisure. I don't need a sub woofer in this room but I predict that i'll be spending more time up stairs than I do downstairs now. So I might opt in for the sub just to spoil myself! I hope you enjoy it as much as I am.

Unfortunately I am underwhelmed with the features and look/feel of the software.
I had never used H&R to get taxes done so I thought I’d give it a whirl. However, a step or two into the process and I was tapped out and exhausted.
In comparison to other avenues this software which requires memory on your computer and installing needs to pull ahead leaps and bounds for me to think of using it again.
I was super interested in the idea of purchasing the box like a subscription and using each feature it outlines but WOW it was like doing taxes on paper. I wasn’t even old enough then but I remember my mother doing them and it was a headache for her.
Not for me unfortunately.
