Feeling Very E-Quip-Ed!

Having been a Quip customer I’ve got a special bond with my toothbrush.
I got this one to mix things up. I’ve never seen a black toothbrush. It’s just as cool as the photos.
The bristles are a little stronger than a medium brush which I love. When I brush I want to feel like the brush!
If you haven’t had a Quip it’s a great way to not have to get one of those pricy toothbrushes. It’s got a button that initiates the pulse in the brush which helps you keep brushing and to remind you to keep going.
The application is easy to use. If I’m honest I went and got Charcoal Toothpaste to match my brush and pop on my counter.
Overall a good addition to my hygiene.

This new version of the Ivy Cliq is even better than the first version. The front LED ring of lights really helps illuminate the subject in the photo up close.
My downside to the camera is from a distance the pictures are pretty dark even in great lighting.
I have a stock of the packets of paper refills from how often I snap a picture and just had it to a friend or someone on my team.
The pearlized face is a definitely a notch up and great design. I go to theme parks often and I really like that I can toss this in my bag and point, shoot, and insert a memory card which stores pictures I’ve taken.
This is an awesome camera to have for day trips or a secondary leisure camera. I wouldn’t replace my digital camera but this one is a great second option for day trips!

So recently I took up running and my previous Jlab earbuds didn’t wrap around my ear so they’d slip out.
I’m really enjoying my jogs which are only like two miles but a world of difference and comfort with these ear buds.
They are pretty light, some would say “light as air” haha so if you want something that doesn’t feel weighted down these are great.
In Jlab fashion they don’t fuss with cords and have built in the charging cable to the case which I always love. More companies need to adopt this perspective!
The noise cancelling, microphone, and sweat resistance are top notch! Living in Texas you are bound to sweat and I wear a hat when I jog so it is splashing everywhere (at least I feel that way) so these JLabs are weathering well.
The noise cancelling is almost too good that I have to be really aware when crossing a busy street. I don’t want to risk being hit by a vehicle.
Lastly the battery life is amazing. I charged them once when I got them and haven’t had to charge them since. I am astonished because I’ve got other earbuds that require charging daily to maximize their full potential.
These are great for work calls on the go, a stocking stuffer, graduation gift, or just a Tuesday “treat your self” gift.

Canon Does it in Style!

I didn’t know I needed a portable printer to reinvigorate my passion for capturing memories and sharing it with family/friends!
It’s not the most compact printer but because of the quality of photos it prints I would prefer to carry this with me wherever I go.
I started with pics of the pups of course. They are my number one models and I have to have photos to show off to friends. I immediately printed two and put them in my planner at work so I can see my Frenchie everyday.
Set up is easy, open the printer, put in the ink cassette and paper, download the application and pair your devices.
It’s just that simple. I’ve got a big team at work and they are silly so we’ve used the printer to make a cork board of team bonding photos! It’s been a hit!
With the holidays coming around I hope that Canon adds more features to the app with frames and stamps. This printer has a lot of great potential!

An Okay Tour for Music

I’ve had my Tour for about a week now and pun intended but I don’t feel it gives a 360 tour of what a music streaming service/product does.
I’d say it’s average because there are three things that set it back and make it dated for me.
1. If it is going to not give me access to certain content then until I choose to upgrade they should not even show the channels in the lineup. It makes the device look cheap like a tv store front with previews.
2. The user interface aka touch screen functions are not as responsive to the touch like other touch screen devices.
3. Wires are still a thing in 2020 and while I’ve had a radio tuner in a device the size of two quarters this device requires you to carry around this wretched almost 10-15ft wire to make it function in the car.

I purchased the home kit and it is working great, I needed to figure out to hide the eye sore of a wire but otherwise it does well.
Overall, it is a good alternative if you want to mindlessly skip through channels and not choose your music. I do love the Chill and New Music stations because of the style of music playing.

I am in absolute awe of this Ninja Oven! It has so much dynamic functions I don’t know where to start.
To not overwhelm I’ll try and be concise. It does what it is supposed to. I expected it to work as an oven but to also fry food. This was my first venture into the air fryer realm and I’m glad I waited!
My first journey in air frying was crab cakes. I have never made a crab cake in my life by the way. It was fluffy, crisp, and warm. I had this weird fear that air fryers wouldn’t cool to the core but it sure does.
My apologies I don’t know what convection is but I sure as heck feel like it does that well.
The oven itself comes with many pre-sets like pizza slice reheating function. I love that one! I’ve used it like 5 times already.
Clean up happens in a jiffy because I lay foil on the rack so I can just roll it up and toss it in the trash.
Do not hesitate to scoop this oven up if you’ve been thinking about it. It is worthy of your counter space and I am really enjoying not having to heat the whole kitchen up with turning on the stove.

Tasty Water in a Jiffy!

The first thought I had was I did not know what I was doing but the instructions are encouraging and make you feel confident in doing the job. A side note, they do encourage you to see a specialist if you are not sure about the tools and installation.
So, the box says it will remove certain contaminants in the water and I can't measure that but the taste is great. I have a filter system in my fridge but having multiple filter systems in the home have been helpful because my other system makes water flow slowly.
My friends and family love water, especially during our 100+ degree weather in Texas or after the gym.
I wasn't excited to have to drill holes underneath my sink and the filtration tube is pretty large. We all know under sink space is limited so I wish that was a little smaller.
Overall I'd recommend this for the home because it has changed the quality of the way water tastes, the ease of setting it up, and hopefully makes my water healthier.

Not A Smart Home Device

I've been trying to formulate an objective perspective on the Phyn because I wanted so badly to enjoy it's benefits for my home. We spend time between this home and another so being able to monitor the home's utilities is super beneficial when possible (smart anything).
However, this Phyn Water System does not work. Some back story, my home was recently built, the water gets hot, and I have sufficient wi-fi to cover 5k square feet.
It comes in this beautiful box with crashing waves printed on it. So you receive this luxe package, beautifully wrapped, minimal in waste and very detailed but short instructions. The application is needed to install the device, and the device itself looks like the fin off of a sea animal of some sort making it sleek and very appealing for under the sink.
The bad... the device does not do what it's supposed to do and will not read any sort of water levels. Do the connectors work you wonder? Yes, the bolts fit my water connection perfectly and I did not need to alter anything. I had an outlet under the sink dedicated to the device. The set up process should be 3 simple steps. I started installation at 7pm one night and stopped at step 2 because it would not read anything and just gave me errors that the device could not get readings. I DO NOT know how much hot water I wasted that evening thinking it would work.
Until the Phyn company can get this straightened out I can't in good conscience rave about this product for simply "looking" great and being a great "concept". It does not execute what it is supposed to do.
Ultimately I have made drill holes under my sink, gone to the trouble of connecting the attachments to my water lines and now will now have irreversible things under my sink. I'm underwhelmed.

Eyes In The Sky... Well Just on The Pup

I absolutely love my Lorex camera and the simplicity of it all. It took all of 2-3 minutes to open it up and set it up.
Best features are how slim it is, the magnetic plate to secure it to the wall, the crisp imaging, and two way audio.
In comparison to my previous camera this one won’t be bulky and annoying while it sits neatly on a shelf.
Biggest win is that the camera has a micro SD slot so that I don’t have to subscribe to a cloud company or of forgetting my password to access them.
I work a normal daytime job so being able to keep an eye on my little guy is very important to me. He’s a little annoyed obviously... but I’m glad I can check in on him anytime I want.

Well I’ve had my ear buds for a few days now and I’m a big PUBG fan. So having some ear buds that could withstand extended gaming was ideal and what I really enjoyed about these Bluetooth ear buds.
The sound quality was as described: crisp, almost no lag, and I could hear the direction shots or steps were coming from. One big downside to these earbuds are the uncomfortable ear tips. I’ve had Jlabs before but these hurt my ear quite a bit.
Game chat and then answering calls was super cool because I thought surely the mic quality would be terrible. I took calls on them and people said I sounded so clear and better than my headphones I use for actual calls. So don’t worry about how you’ll sound during gaming!
I haven’t tried it on the Stadia but this weekend I get to stay home and spend some serious time logging hours.
Best feature for the JLABs is the Bluetooth, long life battery, sound quality, microphones and mobility of them. The case is compact enough to toss in a weekender bag with my stadia and other accessories for my mobile gaming set up.
