Very Versatile Vacuum, Especially for Dog Hair!!

I had never used a Shark Vacuum before owning a ION cordless model, I had strictly stuck to Dyson in the past. Quickly it became my go to vacuum because of the ease and accessibility to just pick it up and start vacuuming. Fast forward two years later and now we have the Shark Apex DuoClean. This vacuum is a well thought piece of machinery. I feel like Shark really took their time with the design of this product. Everything makes sense from a user standpoint, it's easy to use and effective at getting the job done for multiple tasks.
The vacuum itself is meant to be used in 2 different modes.
Standard vacuuming: Which is just your normal vacuuming mode. It has three levels for Hard Tile, Carpet, and Area Rugs. The standard vacuuming works great and Shark has come up with a new Zero M technology that blocks hair from being wrapped around the roller. I found that was one of the only flaws with past models but it seems to be solved with this one. Overall it does a great job of leaving nothing behind. The only real gripe I have with the unit itself is the weight. It's probably one of the heavier vacuums I've ever used. It doesn't take away from its functionality but when its fully assembled this thing is a beast.
Detached Mode: This is for getting to those hard to reach places under the couch with the detached roller. Also the top of the roller separates and allows you to use other attachments. Which brings me to my favorite part of the vacuum the motorized pet attachment. This thing is a blessing from Jesus himself if you own dogs. I have a black and a brown dog and they shed like crazy. The attachment gets all the hair up in seconds off my bed sheets and couch. The brush will even pull hair stuck deep in couches. It is by far my favorite attachment in a vacuum ever. The wand itself even has a light on the end of it which is a nice touch.
All in all I feel like Shark did a tremendous job with this vacuum. While it is a bit hefty in the weight department it doesn't take away from the fact that its a well designed and well thought out product. I would whole heartedly recommend this vacuum to anyone.

Great Polaroid Camera with a Touch of Nostalgia

Overall: I would highly recommend this camera if you're wanting to get back into Film. They have done a great job keeping the camera simple while adding a ton of new features for 2018. And there's something to be said about having a photo instantly in your hand.
I grew up with Polaroid cameras so its nice to see they're making a resurgence with a few nice updated touches. The camera itself works relatively the same as an old Polaroid. The difference now is that the camera can connect through your bluetooth on your phone. Setup was SUPER easy and only took seconds. Honestly it was probably one of the easier devices i've setup lately so bravo to them for that. The ability to use software add's a lot of new features to the polaroid camera:
Self Timer - the ability to set a timer before the camera takes a picture.
Remote- The ability to use your phone to fire the camera remotely.
Double Exposure - The camera will take 2 photos before exposing it on the film.
Light Painting - Ability to use light externally to add brushes of light to the photo. This is best done with a flashlight or bright spotlight that you can move around and create trails.
Noise Trigger - ability to fire the camera using a loud noise.
Manual Mode - what you would expect from a manual mode, ability to adjust aperture, time and flash.
Remote- The ability to use your phone to fire the camera remotely.
Double Exposure - The camera will take 2 photos before exposing it on the film.

All of these options open up a lot of possibilities for the camera itself and I think make the Polaroid a viable option again for people wanting to get back into Film. There's something to be said about having a tangible photo in your hand immediately as opposed to it just getting lost in your Phone. I felt that feeling immediately with the first picture of my dog Chloe, which I now have hanging on my fridge. The first one in a LONG time thats ever made it to the fridge, so there's something to be said for that. I definitely recommend this Camera.

Bottom Line : Decent Vacuum for cleaning up dog hair and dust off the floor but the Roomba style vacuums still aren't good enough to replace a full size vacuum.
The Neato D4 vacuum is kind of a toss up for me to be honest.
The roomba style vacuums always promise to have this "state of the art" technology that learns your room and can avoid many obstacles but they really don't seem to be able to still replace a full size vacuum.

Initial Setup: The Neato D4 is a sleek looking unit. Out of the box the charger base and cords are simple enough to setup, where I had issues was pairing it with the app. I am a pretty technologically sound person so I followed the instructions to pair it to my phone. Every time I did what the video said and pressed the bumper and waited for it to cycle and then tried to choose it on my phone. When I chose it on my phone it would kick me right off and not allow the pairing process to continue. It took me about 12 tries to finally connect it properly. Which to me is kind of a pain. Once connected I was able to designate areas that I didn't want it to clean which is a nice touch compared to other models Ive used. The one thing I did not like though is that you can only choose one floor layout for it to remember. The D6 models allows multiple layouts so that might be something you should consider if you want to use the vacuum in multiple areas.
Usage: The vacuum itself on my first run picked up a lot of stray dog hair and dust on the floor. The cleanup is easy and quick. but it never really seemed to go in any kind of real pattern. It would go out about 10 feet start making turns and not really go in any real order, which left certain areas unclean. It's gotten better as time goes on but still doesn't clean everything 100% the way it should. The vacuum transitions well from carpet to wood floors and has enough battery life to do a majority of the downstairs area. The thing I feel like with these Roomba style vacuums is that they don't really pick up everything and they never really "learn" anything. My vacuum still kinda goes all over the place and I still run my Dyson afterwards and pick up a decent amount of dust and debris.
I think what these vacuums are good for is basically doing a daily sweep of the floor to get dust and dog hair so you don't feel the dirt on your feet everyday. Especially good for tile or wood floors. But you still in the end need a regular home vacuum. I recommend this product still because its one of the better roomba style vacuums i've used. But I feel like these type of vacuums have a LONG way to go before they can replace a full size home vacuum.

Excellent Set of Gaming Headphones

Logitech really seems like they've put alot of time and effort into designing their gaming line of products. This G Pro Wired Headset is a great headset for anyone looking for a quality and comfortable gaming headset thats compatible across all platforms. First thing I noticed right off the bat is the extra set of leatherette ear pieces that come with the headset. Most companies never do this for over ear units so I found this to be a very nice addition. Every cable that comes with the headset is braided. The microphone has a harder bendable braided cable to position the mic correctly. It feels sturdy and solid compared to some flimsy mics I've used in the past. The headphones do a great job of noise cancelling and the sound is crisp and clear. Every game I've used it on so far has been a blast. I usually don't use gaming headphones just exclusively to play single player but I've found myself wearing them more because of the immersion it gives to the game! Also I love that the headset is compatible with different gaming systems. I have a PS4 and an Xbox One X as well as a PC games so its nice to be able to switch back between all of them with the additional cable provided. All in all I give this headset 5 stars because it flat out gets the job done. I highly recommend.

The Logitech - Gaming G513 Wired Mechanical GX Blue Mechanical Switch Keyboard is an impressive keyboard for serious gamers and people that like customization to their computer components. The first thing you notice right off the bat is the brushed aluminum, its a very pretty and hefty keyboard. I must say the handrest that came with the keyboard is one of the best I've ever used, period. It's soft and hugs my wrists just right and allows me to game at my computer for much longer without any kind of wrist fatigue. The lighting on the keyboard itself is very impressive. Logitech includes an app that allows you to customize the lighting and do different effects. The one I found the most intriguing was a heatsink type where it would only light up the keys you just pressed, slowly fading away. It doesn't really add any benefit to the keyboard itself but it's nice to be able to make them any color I desire at any time and I think thats a big plus for people who like to do custom computer builds. This could match up to essentially any build. The other nice thing Logitech did with this keyboard is they included 12 extra curved gaming keys. All the standard movement keys are included to be able to make the keyboard customized to your needs. The one thing I do wish it had was dedicated media keys, but that can be customized with the included FN function. Again Logitech included great customization software, but it would have just been nice to have a Mute button on the keyboard. The other thing it does have is a USB passthrough, which is handy for charging your phone or an wireless mouse.

The software Logitech has for gaming profiles is impressive and robust. It has over 600+ games to choose from to customize the keyboard. I am very impressed with the length that Logitech seems to be going to appeal to the gaming crowd. it knows that gamers want more out of their accessories and they're delivering. I wholeheartedly recommend this Keyboard to anyone looking for a solid Mechanical keyboard with full color customization

The Logitetch - G305 Wireless Optical Gaming mouse is a great overall everyday and gaming mouse. I feel like this mouse finds a nice sweet spot in size and feel. It fits and feels good in my hand and I like the 2 side buttons for added functionality without being too overwhelming. The wireless connection is strong and the mouse connected right up to my computer with zero issues. I'm not a huge fan of the bigger size models or the ones with 18 buttons. This to me is simple and done right. I will be using this mouse for every day use going forward and highly recommend it to anyone that is looking for a new mouse.

Keep up with work using this Dell Inspiron all-in-one computer. A 23.8-inch Full HD touchscreen hides away the Intel Core i7 processor and 12GB of RAM, so you only have one unit to contend with. A huge 1TB hard drive and wireless-AC Wi-Fi ensure data storage and transfer remain simple on this Dell Inspiron all-in-one computer.

Great Overall Home Computer

Dell has always been synonymous with quality and reliability. I’ve had computers in my home since the early 90’s. I’m very familiar with PC’s and know how to build them and break them down. Many brands have come and gone but Dell has stood the test of time in the PC market. I was excited to get my hands on the new Dell Inspiron 23.8 All in One because of the dual capabilities with the touch screen and new 8th Generation i7!
Initial Setup took only about 10 minutes. Honestly, it’s probably the easiest computer I’ve ever setup in all my years of computing. All you have to do is screw the base into the bottom of the screen and then plug it in, power it on, and that’s it. From a consumer standpoint they really made it SIMPLE for anyone who isn’t that familiar with computer to get up and running. No discs, no install, you’re good to go right out the box. Initial setup for Windows takes about 15 minutes and then there were about 2 hours worth of updates.
The computer itself is very sleek and trim and doesn’t have a lot of wasted space. I love the fact that you can almost treat the computer like a TV and move it anywhere with a small footprint on whatever space you’re occupying. The i7 makes the computer snappy and efficient. The 12 gigs of RAM is sufficient to run most any program and the 1TB hard drive is a great amount of space. The screen is bright and crisp, and the touch screen is a nice added feature. Why apple hasn’t adopted this same technology in their computers is mind boggling. The ability to toggle into Tablet mode adds a whole new feel to the computer. Allowing you to touch things makes it so much easier for my wife to work on her Excel documents, and I believe for the normal consumer makes things a lot less frustrating. There are 4 USB ports In the back along with a convenient USB and Media Card Reader on the left side of the computer. There is a retractable camera at the top that can be pushed down and hidden, so for anyone that likes to put tape over their camera, problem solved! The speakers are decent enough, producing good sound when I tested them out. The keyboard and mouse are very basic but are expected for this type of computer. Overall the computer is a solid build that you would expect from Dell.

I am used to working on SSD’s and thought that it wouldn’t make that much of a difference but to me it does. Luckily this computer does come with a M2 SSD slot so the first thing I did was open up the computer (which is super simple) and install and clone Windows to the new Samsung SSD drive. After that the computer ran like a DREAM, booting up in less than 5 seconds as opposed to 30-40 with the normal Hard Drive. But the thing is to the normal PC consumer the SSD won’t really matter and without it the computer still runs great.

Home Theater Sound on a Budget

The Sony - WH-L600 Digital Surround Wireless Headphones are a nice alternative to a full surround sound setup. I got these specifically so I could watch/play games/movies without disturbing anyone else in the home while still getting the same effect. The headphones are comfortable for over ear headphones. They self charge on the base that comes with the set itself which I thought was a nice touch. It has multiple inputs but the one I chose to use was HDMI arc which transmits the sound back through the HDMI to your headphones. While the sound is crisp and clear the 7.1 effects that they use on the headphones itself are a little distracting. The other thing I noticed is there is no battery indicator on the unit itself. The wireless range on the unit itself is great and doesn't go out anywhere in my house so thats a plus. Playing games and movies on them was great and it did the job exactly as I was expecting. Made my video games feel immersive with bullets flying by my head. All in all I am really happy with these headphones. They're a nice alternative when you can't blast your surround sound in the house and I would definitely recommend them!

JVC - HA-ET90BT Sport True Wireless In-Ear Headphones are a great set of wireless headphones! They produce quality sound, good battery life, and have the ability to recharge inside the holding case that it comes with. I've noticed a trend lately with earphones being able to do this and I think its the BEST feature they can offer. Being able to charge your headphones on the go is a HUGE plus for me. The shape of the headphones is a little odd, but they're still comfortable in your ear and they fit snugly and don't fall out when I run. They also work very well to talk on the phone as well. I was surprised at how well people could hear me on the phone. I would highly recommend these to anyone looking for a good quality pair of bluetooth wireless headphones.

Overall Great Pair Of Headphones

Sony has been really upping their game lately with their new line of bluetooth headphones and this one is no exception! The SP600N Sports Wireless Noise Canceling In-Ear Headphones have a nice balance of size, comfort, and sound that make them a great headphone choice. The noise cancelling helps to isolate the music in your ear and cancel out ambient noise. While not AS effective as a bose noise cancelling headset, they did the job and then some on my recent flight to Baltimore. I also appreciate that the noise cancelling can be made in such a small pair of headphones. The sound is crisp, clear and concise. With good bass and good volume limit as well. The one complaint is that they didn't make them self charging with a case or even include a nice carrying case. Which for me is a miss. Other than that I love them and would highly recommend them to anyone.

By now everyone knows about the commuter and defender otterbox series. The otterbox has recently gotten sleeker, shedding alot of the extra bulk from previous generations, so I decided to go with this model for my Iphone 6. It fits the phone nicely, the only gripe I have with the case is there is a little bit of wiggle room at the top kind of like a gap between the hard and soft plastic. I'm not sure if this is true to all the commuters, I may go back tomorrow and try and find another commuter that might fit better.

Opted for the Symmetry

After having this case for almost a week now and the gap between the plastic not going away I decided to go check out the symmetry series. Although it doesn't have the screen protector, and the hole for the Apple logo on the back, I actually feel like the symmetry is sturdier and sleeker than the commuter.
On a side note I spoke with Otterbox about the commuter to see if maybe the case wasn't supposed to have the gap and it was a manufacturing issue. She said they had more than a few reports about it, and that they are looking into whether or not they need to make a change or whether it was a certain supplier that had the error. She told me to hold onto my case and check back in a few months and that if they made any adjustments they would gladly replace it for free. So worst case scenario you buy the case, it has a slight droop in it for a few months while you wait for Otterbox to perfect the case and then you call in and get a replacement for free because they already know about the issue.

Yes it can support up to 5. But with 3 you can cover a 6000sq ft house. So unless you live in a huge house you don't really need more than 3.
