I have had wireless networking equipment in my home and office for close to 20 years. I've upgraded from the wonderful blue and black linksys wireless router that refused to quit but became a choke point in wireless communications.
Until about two years ago, I considered myself a Linksys customer.
That changed at work when I found Linksys equipment was not nearly as good as it was a decade ago.
So, I've become a netgear buyer who has had zero problems with their superior hardware.
And then I happened to have a chance to test this new mesh system - mesh being the in vogue technosnob term - so I went for the test and found that once again Linksys has let me down.
What happened to PRINTED INSTRUCTIONS?
In order to install this you have to have a phone app - and even then the instructions are almost non-existant. I found that once I installed the app that just being two feet away from the initial "tower" was too far. In order to get this to work at all, I had to be inches away.
By this time of the installation, my netgear items were already working without a problem.
But not so with this system!
If the app weren't bad enough (small print to read even a smart phone - and I wear glasses), the instructions didn't really do much. I know the basics, but there is no way to tell which of the two ethernet connections was the one to install the cable coming from the modem. I guessed the logical one on the left and had no internet connection.
To make matters worse, instead of having an on screen area for the id and password, you have to turn the tower back on its top and contort to read this information. After three attempts, I finally got the password right - I'm a 50 something nerd with glasses and I'll be damned if I could read it.
Regardless of what device I tried to access this, I could connect, but got no internet connection. We are talking about a $500 collection of equipment and it failed to do what a $99 Netgear item did in less time and effort -and it had printed instructions.
The net here is that the system is packed up and ready to give away to someone who doesn't know what they are doing. You see, nothing about this is intuitive - and I shouldn't have to watch someone else's youtube video on how to hook this up.
Linksys has really pulled a fast one here - once know for being straightforward and bullet proof, they have concocted something you have to use a phone to set up and then have to turn over to get the access information. I didn't even test the mesh part because the first tower still couldn't access the internet.
And I hooked the Netgear system I have back up and it worked flawlessly.
Save your money. Don't fall for the cute and the vogue technosnob appeal of this.

Product better than the instructions

It is a shame that a product is tainted by its support instructions.
I say this because the instructions on how to use this, my first ever purchase of a grooming device that was not a straight on facial hair shaver, were some of the worst I've ever encountered.
The instructions are printed on very thin paper - folded up into a miniature version of an old-fashioned road map. Once you unfold this non-english centric language morass it is over two feet wide! The dominant and first viewed side is not english - you have to unfold and essentially flip over to find the english side. The print is tiny.
Inside the dreadful clear plastic container in which the product is shipped are also bits and attachments that you are supposed to be able to use for the "groomer". Intuitively I figured out what the plastic ones were for. The other ones with other heads - I have no idea where they go.
To use this, you will need to charge. I did a 15 minute one to use the first time. It worked fine in the shower with nothing else attached. I trimmed sideburns and shaved my neck. The device is nicely weighted and is very good.
Eventually I will learn to use the other attachments, but this should have had instructions in a booklet that was written in english first so that it could be used effectively. It is a darn shame when an otherwise good product is ruined by its support, but this is what you get when a company is lazy and doesn't care about you actually using what they make.
This product is worth buying. Just be prepared for a learning curve as you fight to unfold and refold these horrible instructions. And don't even think of touching that paper with wet fingers - it is not far removed from cheap newsprint.

Very easy to install via directions

This works great!
Installation instructions are the key. You'll need to know about your current router and whether it has an WPS button or not; if it does, the installation is straightforward and very simple. In less than five minutes I had this thing ready to go. And it did what it was supposed to by strengthening a signal in a part of my home that had been problematic.
I liked that it used the same password as my network after I looked for the _ext extension.

I was impressed - took out my old router and replaced with this wireless router. It worked almost instantly even testing a wired connection.
This unit is very large - I was surprised at how huge it was so if you have a limited amount of space, this might not work for you.
This also has eight wired network connector which I did not expect and it appears two usb connectors to add external drives.
This is very impressive - it allows you to replace several pieces of hardware or to expand a wired network while also having a very fast wireless connection!

It works but not amazingly so

I've had Linksys products - old ones that were bullet-proof and had to be retired due to technology passing them by. I've since moved to Netgear products and was interested in seeing what Linksys has done to improve what damage Cisco did to them.
The setup of this router was fairly straight forward following the directions provided.
The overall performance of this is about what I had with the Netgear products that didn't cost this much. As this has AC which my Netgear's don't support, I tried with my new laptop and saw no difference in speed connection; maybe my laptop doesn't support AC so I ordered a USB AC device and will test and report once it comes in.
Unless you need the AC function, there are less expensive alternatives to this that work great. This product is acceptable, but unremarkable for the extra money over Netgear wireless routers with gigabit connections for four items.
I recommend this with the caveats above. If you can get it on sale, that improves the rating.

A bit of a learning curve needed

I eagerly anticipated this product. When it arrived I followed the instructions on how to set this up. The instructions are only about 75% accurate. Installation of the battery was frustrating - I had put it in as described and repeatedly got an error message. Then I discovered the power switch by accident. Once that was turned on, the battery installation worked.
Setting up the charging station was interesting as well - of course it uses military time and you need to make sure you set both the current day of the week but also set up your cleaning day of the week along with the time. I set my initial cleaning day of the week to today and repeatedly reset the cleaning time - nothing worked. Then I hit the power button on top of the machine. Bingo.
This machine is automatic - not efficient - don't think you can get a single cleaning cycle in without emptying the rather small debris container. Even a relatively clean house will have pet fur etc and that filled the holding tray after an hour. I stopped the unit, turned it off, and dumped the contents. Worked better immediately.
I got two hours out of the cleaning before the vacuum limped back to the charging station.
This will be much better after learning the nuances of the incomplete instructions and the trial and error of the first uses.
Oh, yeah, you have to charge the unit before first use.

I wanted a wireless printer and this one fits the bill - easy to install and it simply works. I wanted to stay with Canon printers, but they've gotten very cheaply built lately. This one is going with my niece to college and had it tested with her laptop before she goes and it was a no-sweat install if you follow the instructions and know about wireless networks.

I had a tight budget with which to purchase a new laptop - I've been searching for months and nearly purchased a Dell (my preferred brand) on their website.
I happened to shop online at Bestbuy and discovered this computer for $329.99 - it hit every need that i had - and the ram was upgradeable for future needs - it was not a Pentium or Celeron processor which was a plus. Has a fifth gen i3 - and it simply exceeds what I expected at this price point.
I am so pleased with this purchase - the screen does lack a bit on contrast, but when hooked to HD monitor, the monitor resolves that. It streams Hulu and Netflix really well.
For the price, this unit is hard to beat.

I am used to Logitech products - they are built to a price and I expect shortcomings - but they last. I'm replacing one that I accidentally stepped on. Purchased this headphone set based on reviews. I was let down.
Cheap construction - all plastic - save for the metal band inside the frame - shortish cord - much shorter than the Logitech product that I replaced.
Costs $20 too much - thankfully I bought it on sale and had a $20 certificate to use. The final price was around $30 which is precisely what this product is worth.
Sound quality is okay at the $30 price point - but at double that, it is not worth the money.
If you can get this on sale for half the regular price, the product will be worth what you pay. Otherwise, shop around.
Side note - Best Buy ship to store is about as worthless as ship to home - note on purchase said it would take 5-7 days to arrive - it took 8 - no email notification at any point in this service - far worse than what I've come to expect from even Ebay. Ship to store was not even as fast as Walmart.

This is not a high performance machine - it is built to provide an option in the low-priced segment.
It is NOT flimsy. I was expecting it to be so, but to suggest it is was flimsy is dishonest. The cover is textured and so is the palm rest surface. Yes, this is plastic. But it is far better than almost anything in this price segment.
This computer does not come with a DVD drive nor ethernet connectivity. You should read the description before buying. Of course you can always add external DVD burner and a usb to ethernet connector is available elsewhere.
This is a very good basic computer. I write this because the other review so far does not represent the product honestly. I bought this for my niece for Christmas - I rebuild computers but wanted her to have something new when she went away for college later next year.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Follow up remarks after a week or so of usage

Had purchased a laptop for my niece for Christmas, upgraded her Dell from 4 to 8 gb of ram - had her spare 4 gb ram and replaced the 2gb one in this laptop - performance upgrade was noticeable making laptop now an 8 gb unit.
I was curious about maxing out ram to the 12 gb limit noted and secured an 8 gb stick for $45 elsewhere and installed yesterday. Not as much difference in performance as going from 6 to 8 gb, but it is nice to have the ram at a great price - now unit still hasn't cost me $400 in total costs.
This is a great computer for the price - 5th gen i3 makes a big difference over the i3's from the past that I've used. The more I use this the more impressed I am with it. At this price it even outperforms some computers the company I work for has purchased at double the price.
I would definitely buy this again and another made by Asus.

I found this product to be less than satisfactory for anything but limited use.
First, installation is not intuitive - like some new products, there are NO INSTRUCTIONS - it has something that must be a picture based set of instructions, but it does not give you any clue what to do beyond 1 and 2. It does not tell you what to do next. You will have to go to bluetooth on your device and activate the pairing from a listing. Not sure why this was not mentioned at all. Volume controls are not described at all - they are the - and + signs on the body (in yellow).
Second, sound is okay - that is why I note it is limited. Better than nothing but certainly not great sounding.
Third, no instructions on charging this - there is a piece of ill fitting rubberized plastic at the base that hides the micro usb charging port. You'd think at least it would be labeled or ingrained with "usb".
I guess if you need a portable speaker for some device that is water resistant, this is okay. I wonder why you'd need one since I'd never put anything electrical near water.
I'm over 50 and I see no use for this other than to leave it in a place where I don't have speakers and to use it on a limited basis. Instructions are awful to non-existant and those debits are what bring down this score.
Too cute for its own good.

Since the initial write-up, I have found that this device works fine around the house if I needed to listen to iHeart radio from my tablet. The sound is acceptable and its portability is good though the small yellow cord really is of no use.

The advertisement and stated processor says its a 9th gen i7-9700 however if you click on the pdf information for this computer it states that it is an 8th Gen i7-8700? Also indicates that graphics are onboard and not the GPU?
I have one of these new ones and it is definitely a i7-9700.

Do you have to have internet connection to make it work
The point of this is to distribute wireless internet connectivity around the house. If all you want to do is to network computers, there are far better options. And I didn't find this system to be very good at doing what it was designed to do. Buy something else for less money.

IS THIS LAPTOP AVAILABLE WITH WINDOWS 7
WINDOWS 7 PRO.OR HOME PREMIUM
No - but when you first use it - go to desktop live tile, use Internet Explorer and download "classic shell" - install the free app - it restores start menu and makes the computer look like Windows 7 and you still have the live tiles to use later as you get used to it.
I've found that on every Win8.1 machine I've had, it far exceeds the speed of Win7. In fact, after using 8.1, 7 seems like Vista.

Made in China and very cheap product - almost all plastic except for metal band inside the frame. Based on reviews I was expecting superb quality - well, this is budget cheap in construction.

Are the PX100 or 200 compatible with windows based PC?
Have an iPhone 3G would like to use the same headphone with my windows 7 computer...I travel so the folding is a great feature...
Works with my windows 8.1 laptop just fine. Just beware that the cord is shortish.
