Middle of the road laptops are a dime a dozen in this world and this is where this Dell falls.
PROS
This is a touch screen that has a folding display which allows it to convert into something like a very big tablet or you can set to have just the foldable screen showing without the keyboard showing.
Backlit keyboard.
Nice display.
CONS
Touchpad is way to sensitive and was constantly doing things that I never wanted. Typically on laptops these days with such flaky touchpads, I just get a mouse to prevent accidental inputs. 16 gigs of ram.

The computer is average or adequate in its actions for an everyday user. Body of the laptop construction quality is above average looking and feeling. Screen is bright and nice size for people with older eyes. It has an i7 Ultra processor with up to 22 logical processors. Based on my experience with laptops, this thing didn't feel any more powerful than an i5 or Ryzen 5 laptop. Perhaps this is hamstrung with the minimal 16 gigs for ram. I was not impressed with performance. It was just there and did as it could, but not remarkable in any way.
One thing that was interesting is that the computer was evidently made 4/09/2024 and that is when the warranty started even though it did get powered on by me for initial boot until 4/24/2024.
Has HDMI out with 2 usb-c / thunderbolt 4 ports (one is the charging port) along with two usb 3 ports.
I downgraded this laptop because it appears to not be ram upgradeable - what you buy is what you get.

Beautiful Presentation. Underwhelming Execution

The weight of the packaging telegraphs the feel of quality that you are about to behold. This has some heft to it as it is a 15 inch display inside a beautiful aluminum metallic frame with nice glass frontage. Inside the box you'll discover that some of the weight is in the mounting brackets that also give the aire of quality. Mounting screws are included along with a power brick.
Like many items these days, there is an app that you must install in order to make use of the device.
And this is where the first gotcha comes into play. The app really seems to be toward pushing you to a picture display setting that is EXTRA COST. Pictures would apparently rotate once the item has gone to sleep.
Once you start using this, you'll notice the calendar function for tracking items and then the useful inclusion for families of "chores" that you can input. Weather is also available after you've connected to wifi. There is also a place where you can enter your "shopping list".
This then leads to the second gotcha that reduced the usability of this device - there is nowhere to input any calendar that you've already put on your phone and to sync it up so that what you've already entered can be duplicated in a wall mounted calendar in your home. This seems very short sighted and really diminishes how'd use this. If I have to re-enter something, even with the large font and tactile sensation keyboard acknowledging input, I'd think twice about wasting time entering anything.
The shopping list feature is a great idea if you mount in the kitchen, but it is also a bad idea since this cannot transfer information back to your phone so that you can remember what it was you entered on this device's shopping list. I checked the manual that comes with this and no mention of being able to connect and to use information to and from your phone. This is unacceptable. You cannot even "print" your shopping list!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is one powerfully robust speaker. It is huge and there is no mistake here - this thing pumps out sound and bass in its "portable" character.
This is not for those wanting perfect sound reproduction but rather for people who love bass and loud base with the ability to do so on battery for a dance on the beach or outside. This also has various lights to make it look cool especially in the dark.
I've used other Sony bluetooth speakers so I know the durability of these units.
What I did not like and this is not specific to Sony is the awful directions that are once again printed on a large sheet of paper in multifolds to make it appear small to fit into a small packet. As someone who needs to wear glasses to read, the instructions were useless to me. I simply could not read what was printed. As I have used Sony bluetooth speakers before I just followed how I used the other ones and this connected to a TV and then to my phone with relative ease. You can download an app for this (like everything these days), but I am growing tired of needing such to get the benefits of a product. This thing worked fine for playing music loud enough to make me cringe that the neighbors might come knocking on my door.
You cannot go wrong with Sony and bluetooth speakers and this should provide loud and impressive bass sounds for your dances and parties. This was designed to get attention and it certainly nails that goal.

I've owned several robot vacuum cleaners and am not new to ownership or use of them. I have never had a Roomba and was excited to test this.
I was underwhelmed.
First, the instructions were useless - if I were new to this type of product, I'd be lost. Print is tiny and almost impossible to read with glasses. Instructions are also wrong. Before you even do anything with an app, you should plug in the vac to the power supply (which has no power light to let you know it is actually working) and then charge the vac prior to use. This also has the vac where it can be picked up immediately once you download and to install the app. If you install the app like you are instructed to do, you can't access the vac since it will still be in the overused white bags that cover everything in the box.
Vacuum is odd in that it only has one horizontal brush - another brand that is likely even less expensive than this model that I bought on Amazon, has two to bring in items into the main brush. Oddly in the packing container, there is apparently an area for a second brush, but when you turn the vac over, it has only one area to attach a brush. This alone downrated the product by one star. It should be noted you cannot even see instructions on the app until you actually install the app and connect it to wireless and to the vac! This is backwards!
Product will talk to you so don't be surprised. One thing this thing will not do is to tell you the debris holder is full. If they went to this effort to make it notify you of an error, why not indicate the holder is full so you can stop the machine and enter. I wasted half an hour with it riding around doing nothing but moving.
Machine is also much worse than average on how it does its job. Compared to the current less expensive brand that I have, this thing seems trapped in an area that is wide open and it just repeatedly does that area instead of moving on. I repeatedly had to pick it up and to move it to another area.
This vac has some sort of "mopping" feature that is really a joke. It is effectively an attachment with a cloth that you install to the bottom and a place for water to be added. This was remarkably ineffective and pointless and adds no value to the vacuum at all.
The overall travel time of the vacuum was no worse than the cheaper brand that I owned nor was it better in length of use. Highly disappointing product. I would recommend you buy something else.

Product has been cheapened over the past few years

I have been a happy owner of a Norelco shaver for nearly four years now and it has been better than I expected. I was curious to test an "updated" version of this shaver and came away highly disappointed.
Whereas the older version felt heavier and more solid with metallic like trim with an actual power level indicator light, this new version feels like a plastic lightweight imposter. The power light now is a flashing one rather than an accurate three bar indicator. The new model feels lightweight and very cheap. And while the older model was fairly quiet, this new thing is a noisy hot mess.
Worse yet, the older model came with an actual plug to go into an outlet and attached with a two pin connector into the shaver for charging, this new product has a smaller connector with a usb connection. What is worse is that there is no power charger for you to use the usb to charge and you will have to supply your own. In this era of cheapening products, this is simply unacceptable.
Also the instructions are a hot mess of multi-folded areas printed on one huge sheet of paper and printed with small print that is uncomfortable to read with even glasses. This is another trend of many manufacturers of recent products cutting down on actual instructions and filling the user guide with warning after warning.
I would not recommend this product at all since it feels cheaply made when new. I cannot expect this thing will last two years. Glad I still have the older model which is the same size and general shape as the new one so the updates are purely cheapening of the product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Having used Ninja products for years, I was excited to try this coffee maker and I was not disappointed.
Unique aspects of this brewer:
- Removable water supply. No longer do you have to bring the water to this unit to guess how much you'll need. You simply remove the water holder from the unit, remove the lid, and to fill up the water to the fill mark and to return it back to the brewer.
- Swing out coffee ground holder/with reusable filter. I love this aspect of the unit swing out so you don't accidentally pull it out too much and the grounds get dumped on your counter. I had that issue with my first Ninja Coffee Maker from four years ago. BTW - the ONLY bad thing about the unit.
- Swing out beverage container ledge. This allows you to put the cup or container in which you want to brew close to the brew dispenser. Very nice.
- Coffee drip actuator lever. If for some reason you need to stop the coffee from coming out of the filter area, there is a stopper that can be slide and this is nice in case you forget to put the cup underneath before brewing (stops messes from getting worse).
- Washable filter. So nice to be able to hold the grounds and to dump them without having them in an extra cost paper filter. No more extra waste.
- Coffee ground scoop built into the side of the unit. I lost the old one and had to resort to a measuring scoop on my old unit. Now this version has the scoop secured in the side where it cannot be lost.
Operation is simple (seemingly more so than my old unit). Makes great coffee like the older unit and looks nice on the counter. I did find that the newer unit takes more counter space than the older one, but not a big deal. First rate product made by Ninja with an accent of stainless steel to go with the black plastic.

The striking thing about this monitor is its screen size which was a definite upgrade from my 27 inch prior one.
I am not sure if I have the settings correct but the display tends to be where you can see the pixels far more than on the 27 inch I used to use. Colors are nice and screen is vibrant, however. I use this monitor as a second screen to a laptop and it works well.
I did like the cover on the bottom support that can be removed that will allow cables to be fed through to mostly hide them. Nice touch. No real adjustability on the height or angle of the monitor, however.
Screen resolution shown on my system was 2560x1600 using it as a second screen for my laptop.
I do not see any major downsides to this screen and past hp monitors have proved to be dependable for some time. There are, however, no major positives that grab my attention to recommend over any other similarly sized monitor. The lack of height adjustment is a buying factor to consider. What you assemble is all you get.

I am a person who is replacing a 4 year old "budget gaming laptop" by a different manufacturer and wanted something that was more state of the art and that was of a similar budget standpoint.
OF NOTE ITEMS:
The screen is beautiful. Initially windows set it up wrong and I fine tuned it to the correct settings and was blown away by the visual clarity and ability to get vibrant colors. Not only do I game with this, but I also took the time to do some video editing and this worked far better than I was expecting. No stuttering in previews of the video. I am not a cutting edge gamer, but I can tell you that the difference in the 4 year old laptop and this one was striking. I did set my computer to "performance" mode and keep it plugged in. The quandry that I had was the display is good enough to not need the external monitor that my older laptop needed even though the basic size of the screens were similar.
32 GB of DDR5 ram. This enhanced the experience!
1 TB of SSD storage. Based upon my real life experience, I never store data on the same drive where the OS and programs are stored and had an existing data drive that I used a usb c connection to interact and this worked flawlessly.
WINDOWS EXPERIENCE
This is the first time that I had where I was asked to replicate another Windows 11 computer onto this one including the basic app icons. I have learned to love One Drive and have an account and it was nice to have a visual reminder of what programs I needed to reinstall and the exe's are stored on my One Drive along with the keys so I was able to quickly bring this up to snuff with my everyday computer. As the old laptop was too limited to do video editing, this replication of my daily user allowed me to incorporate the video edit software to test more easily than if I had to hunt it down later.
I have not had any issues with Windows other than the wrong screen aspect ratio and settings, but that was resolved in under 10 seconds by knowing what it should have been and manually correcting.
OTHER COMMENTS
I noted in my title that if you only could buy one computer and you needed to be able to do more than to just play games, at this price point, you'd be hard pressed to find a better laptop. The size is big enough to be a desktop while not being too heavy or thick to make portable as needed.
I was not a fan of the keyboard though it is well lit. On some computers my fingers just go to the right spot so I can touch type immediately. My hands never found the keyboard sweet spot on the first try. The keyboard backlighting is wonderful and the keys are clear to read at night, however. You can change colors and settings in the gigabyte app installed.
SSD performance. Coming from the older computer to this one, the write and read speeds were in the 3000-5000 range which was a definite improvement.
Gaming. I assume that if you are buying a gaming computer at this price point you understand the limitations of frame rates that are presented, but this is really performing above its paygrade in many aspects including on the video edit side of things.
Heat. I did not notice any heat issues when using this. I did not mess with any settings other than to put this in performance.
OVERALL REFLECTION
This is my first Gigabyte computer and it will not be my last. Overall quality of construction and presentation and choices for equipment are far above many other competitive brands. 32 gigs of Ram is not a joke and having a 1 TB drive included is also a step up. If you must have one laptop, this is a machine that makes few compromises to get you something you won't be embarrassed to use. As a sidebar, my wifi speeds were pushing 800 on the upload and download on my 940 rated fiber optic. And the wired was hitting 920 or above on both up and download. No joke there either.

I grew up in Maine and knew of 20 inch snowfalls and how beefy snowblowers had to be to go through such winter storms. Where I live here, snows are considerably less but as I age into my 60's, clearing snow becomes a bit of a chore - not back breaking, but tiring. It was thus I wanted something to clear my apartment's sidewalks.
Where I live, the apartment management is often clearing snow only when it gets so deep and often well after the snow has stopped falling. I often volunteer to shovel the sidewalk in front of my building and from the lot to the building on the sidewalk there out of respect for my neighbors. The notion of having a small, lighter weight snowblower and hand held blower was just what the doctor ordered.
With the late winter, it took some time to deploy this unit but it sure came in handy. This is no high powered machine but it gobbled the three inches of power with ease. I went up and down a larger area than usual to help more of my neighbors and even pulled my car out of its space and used the wheeled blower to remove as much of the snow around my spot as possible and used the hand held unit to blow the snow off the car prior to moving it. Thankfully there was no ice.
Don't expect this machine to be all powerful, but it sure beats shoveling snow! I used my machine for about 45 minutes and the unit worked just fine lasting through that. Having the unit on charge at the first hint of snow had a fresh battery ready to go for both units and these truly were a blessing. I could adjust the direction the snow was blown onto the grass off the sidewalk. My neighbors appreciated this as well. In a day and age where battery devices are now actually GOOD and make sense to own, this is handy - a pleasant surprise. And since I live in an apartment, this folds up to minimize how much space it takes to store and is easy to clean off with the hand held blower as well!

I've used Brother laser printers at work for years and they have been solid and dependable printers.
This particular unit is very similar to one at work and navigating through the menu was also very familiar. Unfortunately another item is familiar - difficulty in actually getting this machine to connect to a computer following the directions provided. After 30 minutes of nothing happening other than trying different ways to get the machine to connect, I used my experience and just went to the Brother site and downloaded the software without trying to connect and then used a very tedious manual network installation entry (took 3 tries because the instruction sheet didn't tell you what to hit after entering the last password item).
After just setting up the wifi manually and then using the software downloaded from brother's site (not the setup indicated in the provided instructions), I was able to locate the printer on wifi and installed the needed software with which I was familiar and all is good.
I can testify that these laser printers can take lots of use - in the medical office I work, we print hundreds of receipts per week and I was honestly surprised the machines work as well as they do. I had though brother products were a grade below other printer companies, but that is truly not the case in the real world.
I highly recommend this printer even given the foibles of following the instructions provided. Best bet, do the tedious manual entry for wifi on the printer itself - the usb attempt I made had a spinning wheel for over 15 minutes and nothing.

I had a tight budget with which to purchase a new laptop - I've been searching for months and nearly purchased a Dell (my preferred brand) on their website.
I happened to shop online at Bestbuy and discovered this computer for $329.99 - it hit every need that i had - and the ram was upgradeable for future needs - it was not a Pentium or Celeron processor which was a plus. Has a fifth gen i3 - and it simply exceeds what I expected at this price point.
I am so pleased with this purchase - the screen does lack a bit on contrast, but when hooked to HD monitor, the monitor resolves that. It streams Hulu and Netflix really well.
For the price, this unit is hard to beat.

Follow up remarks after a week or so of usage

Had purchased a laptop for my niece for Christmas, upgraded her Dell from 4 to 8 gb of ram - had her spare 4 gb ram and replaced the 2gb one in this laptop - performance upgrade was noticeable making laptop now an 8 gb unit.
I was curious about maxing out ram to the 12 gb limit noted and secured an 8 gb stick for $45 elsewhere and installed yesterday. Not as much difference in performance as going from 6 to 8 gb, but it is nice to have the ram at a great price - now unit still hasn't cost me $400 in total costs.
This is a great computer for the price - 5th gen i3 makes a big difference over the i3's from the past that I've used. The more I use this the more impressed I am with it. At this price it even outperforms some computers the company I work for has purchased at double the price.
I would definitely buy this again and another made by Asus.

I found this product to be less than satisfactory for anything but limited use.
First, installation is not intuitive - like some new products, there are NO INSTRUCTIONS - it has something that must be a picture based set of instructions, but it does not give you any clue what to do beyond 1 and 2. It does not tell you what to do next. You will have to go to bluetooth on your device and activate the pairing from a listing. Not sure why this was not mentioned at all. Volume controls are not described at all - they are the - and + signs on the body (in yellow).
Second, sound is okay - that is why I note it is limited. Better than nothing but certainly not great sounding.
Third, no instructions on charging this - there is a piece of ill fitting rubberized plastic at the base that hides the micro usb charging port. You'd think at least it would be labeled or ingrained with "usb".
I guess if you need a portable speaker for some device that is water resistant, this is okay. I wonder why you'd need one since I'd never put anything electrical near water.
I'm over 50 and I see no use for this other than to leave it in a place where I don't have speakers and to use it on a limited basis. Instructions are awful to non-existant and those debits are what bring down this score.
Too cute for its own good.

Since the initial write-up, I have found that this device works fine around the house if I needed to listen to iHeart radio from my tablet. The sound is acceptable and its portability is good though the small yellow cord really is of no use.

The advertisement and stated processor says its a 9th gen i7-9700 however if you click on the pdf information for this computer it states that it is an 8th Gen i7-8700? Also indicates that graphics are onboard and not the GPU?
I have one of these new ones and it is definitely a i7-9700.

Do you have to have internet connection to make it work
The point of this is to distribute wireless internet connectivity around the house. If all you want to do is to network computers, there are far better options. And I didn't find this system to be very good at doing what it was designed to do. Buy something else for less money.

No - but when you first use it - go to desktop live tile, use Internet Explorer and download "classic shell" - install the free app - it restores start menu and makes the computer look like Windows 7 and you still have the live tiles to use later as you get used to it.
I've found that on every Win8.1 machine I've had, it far exceeds the speed of Win7. In fact, after using 8.1, 7 seems like Vista.

Made in China and very cheap product - almost all plastic except for metal band inside the frame. Based on reviews I was expecting superb quality - well, this is budget cheap in construction.

Are the PX100 or 200 compatible with windows based PC?
Have an iPhone 3G would like to use the same headphone with my windows 7 computer...I travel so the folding is a great feature...
Works with my windows 8.1 laptop just fine. Just beware that the cord is shortish.
