great budget friendly entry level headset

Need some quality gaming headphones that are comfortable and affordable at the same time... this is it. I have a couple wireless headphones that I use for gaming but they are never 100 percent reliable. So I opted for these wired Astro A10 headphones from logitech being that logitech is a reputable company for pc peripherals. I needed something that wouldn't break the bank but be comfortable and durable at the same time and figured I couldn't go wrong with these.
So far I am very pleased. The headset came packaged very well which gave me the impression that the build of the headset would be just as formidable, and yes it is. This headset is extremely well built for having an attached rotary/flip mic. Both the head band and mic have a very durable elasticity to them that allow free movement and comprising angles without getting damaged. The mic can form to pretty much any angle to get the perfect reception when speaking into it. The nice part about this mic is the quick privacy/mute setting with just a flip up. It has smooth motion when flipped up and does not produce any feedback when placed in the mute position. Perfect if using on meetings or work from home environments. I use it with Discord and other video platforms and it works well even then and allows your audience know that you are not engaged with them when the mic is up.
The ear pads and headband are very comfortable and I can wear this headset for an extended period of time without any fatigue or anxiety. They do get a bit warm because of the thick cushioning but overall very comfortable. The sound is great. It almost feels like noise cancelling headphones but it blocks just enough ambient noise to get the full spectrum of sound from your games in a surround sound effect.
The cable is a little shorter than I would like but the in line volume control is a plus. The wire connections to the ear pads have a retro look to them but are well protected and out of the way from damage. The ear pads are also easily adjustable with a smooth slide adjustment for comfort.
Overall this is a great gaming headset that produces a full spectrum of sound that is very durable with exceptional comfort at a very affordable price for the budget minded consumer.

Fast light weight adjustable

Very happy to have this Panasonic rechargeable beard trimmer for fast lightweight trimming of my facial hair on the go. It comes with 4 separate attachments perfect for different styles of hair and they attach very simply to the razor head. The way they attach is simply to slide into place over the razor head. Once attached they are able to be adjusted with the turn knob manual adjustment of varying lengths depending on your need. This adjustable knob allows many different lengths selectable form the lowest 1 mm up to 30mm. Also included in the box is the cleaning brush with a small bottle of lubricant and a small travel carry bag to keep all the attachments together and lastly operating instructions which rarely come with products now.
This portable trimmer is able to be used wet or dry which is plus when manscaping in the shower. It feels very well built with the adjustable knob built into the handle for quick and easy adjustments. The handle has a nice texture and ergonomically fits very well in the palm of my hand.
It is very quiet and does not vibrate as much as previous trimmers I've had in the past. The blades seem to be very sharp and spaced very nicely so that it doers pull on the coarse hairs of the face. The width of the blade is perfect for precision trimming of the face and the head if you so choose to use it for edging.
The battery life appears to last for about a week of facial trimming and cutting before having to charge it fully. It only takes about an hour to charge to last for a week of use. Awesome product overall to keep looking good for the wife. Very happy with this trimmer.

OK IOS mirror substitute

I was excited to get an alternative device that would screen mirror my iphone to tv without extra app downloads. This IOGEAR is an ok substitute for just that, but it is lacking in some areas that left me underwhelmed.
It was an easy install and fired right up with no problem initially. I was able to connect and mirror seamlessly while both my phone and the device were on the same network in home. I could easily mirror my iphone photos and website searches on the tv. I tried a couple movie streaming services and was able to get a satisfiable stream going. But then I tried doing the same with only using mobile hotspot on my phone while in the office. The device fired right up when plugged in to the tv, but as soon as I tried to connect my hotspot wifi, the device lost connection. When I was able to connect, it was very slow to display my mirrored screen if at all. So I'm guessing it is not a self contained device with its on wifi.
When it works, it works well. But it is not a constant working device for the person on the move without a reliable wifi service.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Powerful cleaning and elegant design

Never thought I would like an aesthetically designed toothbrush but the Snow led toothbrush is very elegant with a comfortable and sturdy design that is very pleasing. Love the USB stand battery charger so I never have to worry about a low charge or needing to change batteries.
For the brushing of the pearly whites, this thing is very powerful compared to the one I'm replacing it for. Initially it was a little much at the default setting which you can change with a simple push of button. After getting used to the power it packs I was able to comfortably brush my teeth. However, be careful not to bump your teeth with the metal head of the brush, it will definitely rattle your work loose if you have some.
The two minute brush timer is a pleasing bonus making it easy to skip the guess work or counting of how long to brush. It pauses intermittently after each 30 seconds alerting you to change to the next "quadrant" or section of brushing to get an even clean. The blue led is very bright so do not look directly into it when turning on. Not sure if it is just a gimmick or actually helping with the whiting. I can say that when I'm done brushing, it leaves my mouth and teeth feeling professionally cleaned just after a two minute brush cycle. I am very happy with the Snow led toothbrush and will probably be investing in a couple more for the family.

Big Power in a Small Package

Bose S1 Pro is the perfect companion for any venue from a monitor performer, studio, or just a small party or function.
We use this primarily in a dance studio and the sound is perfect and fills the studio easily for all the dancers to hear and enjoy while they perform. It connects seamlessly via bluetooth and has just enough basic functions to get the job done. It has two inputs for either a microphone, guitar and individual controls for each input. We use with microphone for studio instructions and announcements and this is more than powerful enough for our needs.
We even used this Bose speaker recently for a Christmas parade and the sound was loud enough for our dancers to perform to while dancing in the parade and for the spectators to enjoy. We are very pleased with this speaker as it is very easy to transport with the included handle and light weight.
Will probably be investing in the optional battery which is not included that would make this speaker perfect in all ways for our needs.

Good self monitored security high detail

Swann Pro enforcer is a good start for self monitoring security. It comes packed with everything you need to get started (4 high quality cameras, hard drive, cables, room for expansion). Just know that if you are getting this for self installation, it is very tedious and can be difficult to run the cables if you are trying to keep the wires hidden. But that is the extent of difficulty with a system like this which for some could be a level 4-5 on 5 being the hardest.
Once the cables are run to your liking, it is simple as plug and play and following the instructions and prompts. I connected my system to a 120hz 4k monitor and was able to connect the system directly to my network with ease. Setup my account and adjusted a few settings of the many that are available. I just went with a basic and recommended setup to get started to view my cameras and the picture quality is amazingly clear. Much better than the grainy security feeds that we see from convenience stores or criminal tv. I was truly impressed with the quality and detail of the images on my screen.
The cameras themselves have two sets of leds (white motion sensor led, and police red/blue deterrent leds). I like the motion sensor led as it gets your attention and alerts you that you are being monitored. I tried out the deterrent lights but I cant see myself actually using them. When activated they flash red/blue/white with a very noticeable siren. There is too much motion where I setup my cameras to use this function without being a nuisance to my neighbors. There are a ton of options to fine tune the sensitivity, area, and create different zones of monitoring, but its going to take some time to get it perfect to use all the features packed into this system. The white led motion sensor is fairly bright but its not going to illuminate the area enough to see everything, more of a warning/alert light.
The hard drive is nice that it can send push alerts via email or the swann mobile app, but once again, until the system is fine tuned it will send constant alerts for motion detection. You also have the ability to use dropbox to get video clips for sharing with local authorities in case of an event, or just save for another time. If you dont like or have dropbox account, there is the option to plug in a usb thumb drive or external drive to download videos and play on the computer. The hard drive has ample amount of space for video recording and in time I believe it will just overwrite and continue recording if you run out of storage. This is a great feature and the recording is self contained which means "free" video monitoring/recording.
The swann mobile app is a great feature allowing you to live view your cameras and also view recorded footage. Most times the app works great but it can be a little buggy at times. Viewing recorded footage via the app is a little confusing as it only playsback in small few minute clips. I may have to play with the settings a little more and find out if there is a way to change the playback time or recording setting.
Overall, Swann has produced a really good security monitoring system for the home owner and small business owner that is self contained and capable of providing crystal clear video footage at a reasonable price.

Good sound, comfortable, budget minded

The Belkin Soundform move plus hit a sweet spot with good sound, comfortability, at a price point for any budget minded person.
The case is nice and convenient but straight out of the case the buds connect seamlessly to my phone. Once in my ears they were definitely comfortable and sealed out all ambient noise. The ear tips that were already on were a perfect fit and held the buds securely in my ears. I had no reservations about them falling out and I actually wore them laying down and moving about in all fashions.
The sound is very impressive and compares to higher end brand names. Now the sound does not hit the full spectrum for the had core audiophiles, but for those looking for deep bass and good overall sound these will fit the bill.
I do not use the touch controls very often for phone calls and volume control because I like to see what I'm doing anyway in that sense. But the touch controls may be the only con to these ear buds as it was a little difficult to control the actions that I wanted (volume and track skip). Phone calls are clear and crisp and the other parties have no trouble hearing me. For the price point you cannot go wrong.

Good for small homes with need for router/security

I am a Ring fan as I have multiple Ring devices already with the doorbell and cameras around the house. The Ring Alarm Pro provides that additional security for those that are in the market to get a reasonably priced security system that is professionally monitored and also provides fail safes with cellular back up. The base station that is included acts as both the command center for your Ring Alarm and adds the Eero 6 wifi router. It is specifies coverage for upto 1500 sft so take that into mind for the size of your residence. It also includes a range extender but I believe that only helps with the connection of the door/window sensors.
Okay... Setup is fairly easy but if you are going to use the Eero networking you are required to setup in Eero app first then Ring app. I had a little issue connecting one of my window sensors but was able to get through it with Ring assistance. I must say that Ring has the best customer service I have ever experienced from an organization especially security company. It is very easy to place the sensors yourself, and if you need instruction, the app walks you through with video tutorials.
So once the kit is setup you have the option for professional monitoring or a stand alone security system that just provides push alerts to you through the Ring app. There are different tiers of monitoring and the recommended package for this Pro Alarm kit is the $20 a month coverage which includes the professional monitoring and cellular back up of upto 3gb for power outages. Anything used over the 3 gb is $3 per gb which is quite pricy should you need back up for extended periods of time.
Now the alarm system is very responsive and provides timely alerts via the Ring app and push notifications when doors, windows, or motion is detected from your self installed sensors. You can personalize all of your alerts and sensitivity in the app and can also alarm/disarm the security system from anywhere with your phone. The included key pad does the same function and can be placed anywhere in the home. It is back lit and you can program your own pin security for alarming purposes. This Ring Alarm is basically comparable to any big security firm offering service for a fraction of there advertised price. Best thing with the Ring Alarm is that it is very expandable with more sensors and was easy to add to my current Ring setup of cameras and doorbell.
Now i did have some issues with the Eero router. That is because I have already fine tuned my networking in my house with my current router and mesh system and I am by no means an expert in network (far from it). Because of that, the Eero router essentially made a separate network name for my house. Not sure how that will affect my internet service if any, but only time will tell. I'm happy with my current network setup so I will have to have someone look into this for me. Other than that, I am very satisfied with the ease of setup, expandability, compatibility, and more than that the service and price from Ring. There is no security contract that locks you into years of service and the monthly/yearly charge is a fraction of the big companies. Great investment!

Alexa in your ear with great sound

Amazon continues to amaze.... I was apprehensive about these ear buds initially, but after connecting them and going thru the setup I was simply amazed.
First off, connecting was simple and straight forward. I didn't have any loss of signal or connection issues as of yet. I have worn them for hours straight without issue. I was even able to walk away from my phone and walk outside for a brief moment at least 30 - 40 feet away and was able to keep a strong signal.
Provided are several different size ear tips to get the most comfortable and secure fit. There are also wing tips to enhance the secure fit and sound cancelling. The buds are not an overbearing size and are pretty discreet when worn (for ear buds). They are very comfortable and I was able to wear them for a couple hours without getting ear fatigue.
Now the Alexa app is kind of gimmicky for me with the equalizer and all that even though it does change the sound slightly. But having Alexa in my ear was kind of nice as long as no one close to me would say "Alexa". These ear buds pick up on the wake word very easily. I was able to ask Alexa many things and I would get an immediate and accurate response. You are able to turn off the mic in the app so Alexa will not become annoying.
The sound is great... Keep in mind these are ear buds and not your audiophile type buds. The noise cancelling is very impressive. The pass through is even more impressive to me. I was able to wear both ear buds while listening to a streaming video and still have a conversation with a nearby friend without looking crazy and asking "what did you say?". With the ANC active, all ambient sounds are blocked from your hearing very well and you get the full sound from the ear buds as long as you get the right fit from the ear tips.
Battery life was a little worry for me. With the ANC active, battery life was drained very quickly. From a full charge I lost 10% within just 10 minutes or less. But there is a power save option which helps with that a lot. And to be honest, I think I actually like the power save function on all the time anyways because the sound is better to me. It is more like a voice enhancement feature and blocks ambient noise while allowing you to hear voice better and the sound produced from music or phone calls.
The case is nice. Typical battery charge case that provides hours more of enjoyment from the buds. It is not too big or too small. The buds fit perfectly with the magnetic secure feature. The top secures very well and provides the proper protection for the ear buds.
Lastly, there is a "Find me" feature if you should lose an ear bud in the app. It does not show the exact location on the map and does not have very long range at all. But if you are within bluetooth range of the ear buds it produce a chime for you to search the area and try and find the lost ear bud.
For the price and power packed features of these Amazon ear buds, it is well worth it. I have yet to have any issues and they have become some of my favorite buds to wear when working or watching the kids due to the ability to listen to my streams discreetly and still be alert to my surroundings. Best feature by far next to Alexa in your ear.

Instant gaming upgrade!

Absolutely love this Razer controller with only 2 distinct what ifs....
First offf, again, I love this controller. It has a great quality build feel even though its made of plastic. It is very light weight and ergonomics fit right into the palm of your hand with textured grips. It has magnetically connected interchangeable thumb sticks for quick and convenient change to get the perfect adjustment for either RPG, FP, or Sports. The buttons have a mechanical keyboard feel and give a great clicky/clacky feedback with smooth operation. There are plenty of programmable buttons at various natural positions on the controller to give you an instant upgrade to your gaming giving you an edge on the most complicated combinations in some games.
It was a quick setup just plug and auto install of the drivers and your set to go. It has some cool RGB alternating lights at the grip junction that flow smoothly. This controller is pretty much perfect in every way and can add an instant bump in anyone's gaming.
The only two things that I can probably gripe about or more of a want to make it the best controller to date is customizable RGB lights and making it wireless. Other than that, totally worth the cost and a great companion to your gaming PC or Xbox!
