Perfect headphones for a toddler

These headphones are for my 4 year old daughter. She has had several that just don't fit properly, are too loud, or just cheaply made. These headphones are none of that. They fit perfectly over her head and comfortably on her ears. I especially like the volume feature that has a max volume of I think 90db which is perfect. She seems to enjoy them a lot and really likes that she was able to pick her monkey figure to go on them. I listened to them for a brief minute and the sound is all you need for a child.

This Bessel floor mop is excellent. It is basically a small hand held version of a floor scrubbing machine. It has two circulating scrubbers and a manual sprayer so no need to dip a mop in a water bucket any more. It has enough weight to it that you need not use elbow grease to get tough stains to be removed. My wife loves it and actually likes it better than the steam mop that we have. It is very easy to assemble and even easier to use. Definitely recommend for tile or wood floors.

Great family option for whole home wifi

First off I was excited about the new amped Ally Plus and installed it pretty quickly to go full speed with my new cable cutter PS Vue. Straight out of the box it has good aesthetic appeal although I'm not a fan of extenders which this system is based off. The installation was fairly easy and is app based which seems to be the direction of most routers now, although you are still able to use the website to change somethings but not all as they are restricted to the app. Placing the extender in the perfect place in the house is simple as it has light indicator to let alert you of a strong or weak signal. My house is nearly 2000 sq feet which is average. Now this is where I began to become a little underwhelmed. The Ally promises upto 15000 sq feet which would allow me to use my wifi anywhere in yard front or back. This was not the case as I lost signal or at least had a very weak signal in my backyard which was within the 15000 ft range. Granted I will not be using the wifi here that often, it if I paid for a promise I would like it to be reliable. But I have had the same issues with other routers also.
The app and all of the other features (security, activity reports, and customization) is where this system is a step above the rest. It is great for a family with kids that they want to monitor or restrict certain sites or usage of the internet. The app is very user friendly and allows complete control of your personal wifi.
Overall, if you are looking for control and security of your wifi, this is the system for you. If you are just looking for a wifi system that supports streaming to all devices throughout your entire home, there are options that may be more reasonably priced.

Big sound in a simple small package

First impressions on the unboxing was that this was not going to be impressive at all.... boy was I wrong! First of all it has a great feel to it with the water resistant material wrapping the entire small speaker. This makes it great for listening to your tunes in the shower, by the pool, or at the beach. Yes, it is a very small speaker but it packs a punch enough to fill the room or beach blanket. It has full sound with great mids and impressive bass for such a small speaker. Placed in the upright position the sound fills the room, when placed on the included stand in the horizontal position, the sound is directed right at you and you can listen at lower levels. The battery is amazing lasting a very long time. I've used it for at least 4-5 hours without issue. It is said to have a 15 hour battery life which I definitely believe. Great Bluetooth connectivity, simple design, simple to use. Awesome and portable music in the palm of your hand. I have yet to use the speaker phone feature which I can only imagine is just as great as the music.

Secure fit, good sound, and nice design

At first sight these ear phones have a sporty UA design that is in line with everything UA, definitely a plus. The packaging is simple and comes with four different size ear enhancers for the perfect fit.Also there is a micro USB charging cable but no wall adapter which is no big deal because most people probably have several of these laying around. Lastly there is a nice silicon carrying case that is big enough to effectively carry both the headphones and charging cable.
The headphones have a twist lock design that I was skeptical of at first but it really works. These twistlock enhancers are very secure in your ears and will not fall out under the most vigorous work outs. The silicon enhancers themselves are very difficult to change out over the earbuds though especially for someone with big hands. It took me awhile to change the size and I tore one of them slightly as they are very delicate in areas... be careful when changing them!
It takes a little getting used to when wearing the headphones at first because of twistlock design enhancers... they feel a bit big but are not uncomfortable. Just make sure you try all sizes to get the right fit. The loop over the ear feels good and the behind the neck wire is not over burdensome even though it could have been about an inch or so longer. It does have a small clip in the center of the wire to clip to your shirt to give you the extra sense of security that you will not lose the headphones if they come off, which I doubt they will.
The sound quality is good. The lows are not very loud if you want that hard hitting bass but the mids and highs are exceptional. I personally prefer a good mid range to hear all the vocals and music at the same time. The overall volume is ok, it could be louder but is definitely enough to get the job done.
The heart rate monitor is almost gimmicky because it only works when the UA app is open. However it is convenient if you use the app during a workout because you just tap the right earbud and it gives a voice readout of your heart rate. Not sure how much I will use this feature as I use an activity watch to do this. The free one year MapMyRun membership is a plus for the price of the headphones.
Bluetooth connectivity is good, nothing special there. The in line control on the headphones could use some help as it is not located in a good place and you can barely feel the difference in the buttons. I usually don't use the inline control anyway so it will be a personal preference.
Battery life I think is sub par and average at best having a maximum of 5 hours of life. The standby life is sufficient as I had it sit for a few days and then put them on and the life was pretty much where I left it.
Overall, these JBL headphones are a good buy for the active person wanting a great secure fit with good sound. Not so much for the person wanting headphones for everyday music listening....

What home wifi should be!

Straight out of the box I loved this router system! It is simplistic, looks great to place anywhere, and was fairly easy to set up. Comes with three nodes which are essentially each a single powerful router in its own right. Each node has two Ethernet ports, however 1 port is used as the LAN on the first one that is setup leaving you 5 Ethernet ports for hard wired devices. Each node also comes with a square power block that plugs into the outlet. The power block is a little on the larger side from what I was expecting but not cumbersome. The package also includes 1 cat5 cable to plug into your modem. The aesthetics overall are second to none and you don't need to worry about the spider looking antennas that come with other routers.
Setup: you must download the Linksys smart wifi app which seems to be self explanatory as it walks you thru the initial setup of the first node. But after that there is no clear instruction. I had to search the app to figure out what to do next. After scrolling and combing the app I realized there was an add another device button. Tap this to add another node to your system. Plug in the node in another area of your home and the app does the work for you. Very simple and easy to do. Many will complain about using an app to control your home wifi but it works and it is easy to use. No real complaints for me. Also, having another node placed somewhere else in your home provides you another accessible hard wired Ethernet port for other devices. Great option.
Performance: it does exactly what it is supposed to do. I have three nodes setup in my house that is 2000sqft. Yes, you may think this is overkill for the size of my house with the given specs of the syaytem, but I like to do a lot of yard work and play with my kids in and around the yard all while using my wifi to play music, stream videos, and use my cell phone. It works great!!! I have coverage in my entire yard outside which is just about a 1/4 acre. Now if you just want coverage in the house, 1 to 2 nodes will do just fine. The app comes with many diagnostic controls that help place and setup your nodes and also includes a speed test. I performed many speed test with the built in app and also with ookla speed test. Both recorded similar speeds and I was amazed of the speeds I was getting through my house with no dead spots. I am getting speeds of up to 117 Mbps download and 18 Mbps upload in my house. Out in the yard farthest from my house I have gotten up to about 35 Mbps download! Before setting up this system I was only getting less than half of this with the most powerful router Linksys had to offer with extenders plugged in!
This Velop home wifi system lives up to the hype and I definitely recommend it if you are willing to spend the money for it. If you think about it, you will spend the same if not more for a router and multiple extenders.

Goodbye old school mop!

I love this steam mop right out of the box. It's easy to assemble, straightforward and easy to use. It is the ultimate quick solution to the cumbersome old-school mop that requires changing dirty water, buying mop heads and anything else you can think of with those old mops that just never seem to clean the way you want. Not to mention that lingering smell if you don't clean or dispose of the mop head properly. This steam mop is perfect in almost every way. I love the way it cleans the floor and doesn't leave the floor damp while using it. The boost of steam is perfect for the hard stains and gets them right up. If you are ina hurry or just need a quick spill clean up, the spray mop attachment is perfect and is just as easy to use. Great purchase and definitely recommend if you are willing to pay a hefty price for a mop.

Quick clean even cut

This Norelco is definitely an upgrade from my older model. It comes with more than enough attachments to complete a quick edge, haircut, shave, and yes even the dreaded nose hairs! It charges fast and holds a charge for at least a week with regular use. The turbo button is great for those stubborn or hard to get hair on your face. It does take some getting use to the guides though. My first time I tried to shape up my beard I shaved closer than expected! This thing really cuts hair great. A must have for those lazy days or just when you need a quick shave without all the other mess.

Great video editor for beginners

Initially out of the box it can be a bit intimidating but the install was easy as it came with the basic DVD install or you can install from downloading straight from the website for touch based devices. It didn't take take long to install but did need more space than expected.
The overall interface looks nice and it opens up directly to a guided or tutorial page easy for anyone to understand. I particularly like this because there are times when I just want to create a quick video to share and this allows you to import media fairly easy and guides you thru the rest without much effort. Once you have completed a project you can share directly to a social media outlet of your choosing or just save it to your Hard drive. The automated storylines are pretty good as it makes it easy to drag and drop all your selected media and auto syncs the music and images/video into a quick project. If you are having creative block this helps and you can adjust and edit your timeline as you wish from here. There are so much details that I have yet to discover using this software, but it is definitely worth it to purchase even more so if you use photoshop which integrates with this perfectly.

So good it's scary!

First off, the set up is very easy, simply download the app, answer a few questions, complete the tutorial and you are off. The aesthetics are also very nice and will complement any decor. "Ok Google", now to the operation. The voice recognition is very admirable and detection can pick me up from the next room as long as I speak up a little. You can test the range just by asking, "Ok Google, can you hear me?" And google home will answer you with the appropriate response if you are detected. You can ask a multitude of questions, play games, set alarms, play music from your playlist.... so on and so on. I set this up to control my Phillips hue lights and it works flawlessly. No need to open an app anymore to turn my lights on and off unless I have a particular scene that I want to set..... awesome! Now the speaker itself outputs very good sound. It is very clear, crisp, and resonates through the house. It is a very loyal speaker for the size. Overall I am very impressed and extremely surprised at the handiness of having something like this. I can't wait to get chromecast enabled devices to put throughout house to make my home a true smart home including the best thermostat. This thing works so good that it is scary! It almost feels like someone is in the house with you that you can hold coversations with or like someone is always listening.
I did go through the settings and noticed that it mentions that it is only listening to the "hot words" so that it can start recording to initiate a response and does not record continuously. However much I want to believe this, I am still a bit skeptical that the NSA is not listening.... lol. Overall, I still would recommend this device if you want to feel like a tech mogul and have a home that listens to your every need. There is so much that can be said about Google Home that I can't write in a review. The best thing to do is buy it and see for yourself for it's reasonable price point.

Can this be used on luxury vinyl plank flooring? We installed with the click together method (no glue)
I don't see why not. It is essentially the same as using an old school mop but with less water and mess.
