Well, I have a lot of Chromebook laptops. They are good for what they are made for. But, from time to time, I still need to run some Windows applications/programs. So, this Yoga from Lenovo is offering a very light weight laptop that is running Snapdragon Processor and equipped with SIM card for 4G internet on the move. I was about to give it a bad review until I got Win10 S mode disabled (switched)...
By default, the Win10 shipped with this laptop is set to S mode which means: only applications from Microsoft store can be installed and running. For my usage, Microsoft store is offering pretty much nothing! I need to have Chrome Browser as well. Not only the Edge browser. S mode will not let you use it. I tried to use the MS Office pre-installed. They are running but extremely slow! Like painfully slow... I switched from S mode, installed Chrome Browser and LiberOffice. Honestly I was expecting them to run very slow (As MS Office) but to my surprise... They just run fine... I went ahead and installed all the windows programs I need and they are all running fine. To note here, I installed only the 32 bit programs. By experience, I know ARM processor won't play friendly with 64-bit. So after installing everything. it is working really well. Running everything I need it. Battery life is about 8 hours with WiFi and some heavy applications. The laptop isn't locked to Verizon! I tried an AT&T sim card and just connected fine. Also tried a Google Fi Data only Sim with no issues. It took a while to connect but it worked fine.
When SIM installed and GSM mode is on, it feels like the Lenovo Yoga is trying to rely more on GSM than on WiFi. For that, I removed the SIM as I am planning to mainly use it with WiFi.
Keyboard is fine, touch pad is very responsive. I like the finger print sensor. More like business class laptop.

First, I don't believe in Intel processor without a fan... The CPU getting hot is a normal thing that is caused by the processing load. In normal fashion Computers, the heat is controlled by either a mechanical fan or a water-cooled system. This laptop is equipped with Intel Core i3 (8th generation) processor that is handling Chrome OS in a very good way. Android apps are also running without glitches (the apps I mainly use). Booting time is fast (normal for chrome book). Linux is in BETA. It is working fine though (I use LibreOffice under Linux).
It has only 4Gb of RAM. I wish it has 8Gb... Even though, I tried to stress it with many apps and several tabs and didn't notice any severe lagging. Just doing fine.
Built-in camera is very good. Good enough for Skype, Hangouts and any online video communication...
Battery charger is the way I like it: In line power adapter. It is a USB type-C connector with small LED indicator on the plug. Wires are long enough and it charges really fast. The Inspiron has 2 USB type-C connectors, one regular USB, Micro SD card slot and Headphone jack. I wish it has the comprehensive HDMI connector. It would make life easier.
The laptop (chromebook) build is very good but kid of heavy when compared to other available chromebooks. Screen is ok! Colors are not as vivid as you see on some others but it is eyes friendly display.
Typing with the keyboard is just good. There is no noisy click and still enough feedback. Back-light is obvious...
Sound quality is ok! Kind of loud. Louder than I need any ways..
Battery life is very good. Way better than some other chromebooks I have/had. Touch pad is ok. Not the glass one but it is working very good.
WiFi signal: Well, I'd say average. No real issues so far! Like no random disconnect or anything like that but Let's say it could be better. Maybe the WiFi indicator is deceiving. I am literally 4 feet from the WiFi router and it shows that signal is medium. I tried to go reasonably farther from the router and it remains connected.
Touch screen? I am not a big fan of any laptop with touch screen... I use it occasionally for quick scrolling or browsing. It is just doing the job. I just love the gestures of Chrome OS tracking pad. I wish it can be applied to other Operating Systems...
This Chromebook with indeed give you the first impression of: WOW when you will get it. I can guarantee that.

Good toy but overpriced...

Apart the price, this is a very nice toy to have and it will indeed guarantee some fun and nice photos. Flying it is a bit tricky (as for all other drones) with practice, you will eventually get there and be an expert. It has a very comprehensive control (using smartphone via WiFi). Range is not bad at all! I tried to fly it indoor, it is ok. Photos are a little bit low quality with low light. For better photos, you need more light. Taking video is also possible and again, not bad at all when there is enough light. Try to take your photos in close distances and good light. Noise level of the 4 motors is acceptable. It has a lot of power for quick pick up if needed (in expert mode). It only lacks the function of "tilt up and down" all the movements are horizontal or vertical, no tilts. Fully charged, the battery will last for at least 3 min. It recharges fast! There is a power bank that can be purchased for it (highly recommended for long time photos taking).
It has a USB type C port for charging. Photos are videos can be downloaded via WiFi from the AirSelfie Drone. The drone can be charged while on (allowing media transfer).

If the price is not an issue, this is a very nice portable drone to have fun with. It is indeed sturdy and tough. Very well built. There is a sensor on the bottom side that helps maintaining stable level. Just make sure it is clean and not dusty as it would cause some flying issues.
For that high price, you would expect a better quality photo camera. but over all it is ok!

Very good Coffee Maker

I've owned and tried a lot of coffee machines. This one is really special. First, it looks really elegant and gives premium look where installed. Brewing coffee with this machine is kind of special! You have the function of slow brew to get a very concentrated coffee or at least get all the flavor from the coffee. They claim it is up to 20 percent more flavor, I can tell, it is more than that.
It works very quite, the coffee stays very warm for long time and keeps tasting fresh. It has all the essential features any coffee machine should have (timer, delay start and so)... It also has a comprehensive cycle display explaining what is going on at each step. Easy to clean and good for every time use.
The only down side about this coffee maker (in my kitchen) is the short electric wire... I would appreciate it to be couple inches longer.

As I said in the summary, it is not a bad product at all. It needs some improvements:
- Make it possible to disable the chime sound when button clicked
- Make it possible to access directly via LAN

For common users, those are not necessity. SimpliSafe offers a complete home security system. This door bell is part of it. While it can function well alone, it would be better to have it all together. SimpliSafe offers cloud storage monthly subscription for about $5/month which is not bad at all... Some people would like to have that storage locally since you can't really trust who has access to your recordings.
Video communication through the door bell isn't bad at all. Camera is indeed wide angle. Enough to get the complete image. Microphone is working well. The integrated speaker is not bad at all.
Good thing about the motion detection, it is adjustable. If your door bell camera is hitting a busy street, your phone might drive you crazy!

I'd recommend to use a micro USB cable to charge the door bell before installing it. When connected to my bell lines, it didn't react at all. The current through is very low. I removed it and used the micro USB to charge it and set it up correctly and then installed it. So far it has been ok. There was a time I start getting low battery messages (using it very often) but I assume nobody is having that busy door bell traffic.
Well, if I am installing door bell button from scratch (wiring and stuff), I'd really add power lines to it. Just to have it working properly. I know the manufacturer made it this way to make it easier to install and to use.

Unfortunately, now days, with the lack of security and safety, such smart device is really a good addition to your home.

The Linksys-Velop AC Tri-Band Mesh Wifi arrived in a very fancy packaging. The build material is very good. Very premium and holding nice. In the box, there are three nods: 1- main nod that connects to the Ethernet cable and 2 stand alone nodes that just plug to the wall plugs.
Putting everything together and following the instruction on the Linksys app. The installation process was very easy and straight forward. The only thing I didn't like is the power supply for the main nod. It is too big and plug over the wall plug so it can't be used on a power strip or so. I wish they made it like in-line power supply so it would seat better on UPS or Power Strips.
Setting up the nods will require using the Bluetooth on the phone. That's a good approach to make the installation easy and effective.
The Wifi Mesh system is kind of aggressive wifi covering allowing you to have the best coverage on a large surface. I installed the main Nod near the internet modem in the second floor (upstairs) the second one also upstairs but to the farther east side of the house. The third node installed in downstairs to the farther west side of the house. Did some tests before (with the old Wifi) and after when using the Linksys. I had some spots in the house where WiFi will get really bad even though it shows good coverage on the phones. With Linksys, the problem was solved.
I did some speed tests, check the images. The difference might be small but the efficiency of the coverage is really noticeable. No more hiccups on ChromeCast and Fire Stick. Smooth and fast streaming all day.

I recommend using it if you are suffering WiFi bad coverage in your location. I tried the range extenders before they don't work the same. They just create several networks that are not like mesh WiFi.

People might argue about the usability of this device and why you might need it... I agree that there are a lot of software out there that make possible the recording of your screen. I've been trying a lot of them. Results are mixed.. Full screen games might not get recorded properly. Using Alt-Tab switching windows sometimes results in the game crashing... This AVerMedia can be used as a stand-alone "Sniffer" that captures everything on going through the HDMI. Recording using computer and writing on the computer in the same time caused some minor issues with sound being distorted. Sound recorded from headphone was kind of low but ok! Tried it on X-BOX One X and the results was just amazing. One click to start recording and another click to stop it. Video through AVerMedia was not affected at all. I bet it will do just fine passing 4K through.
Minor remark, the device really can get hot sometimes but still acceptable. I really expected it to have a fan or a cooling system.
I found it very useful to extract videos from my old Surveillance DVR by getting combined all cameras in one screen recorded.
The very good part, it comes with all needed cables and connectors. Put all together, the price should be higher I guess...
This recorder can do a lot of things for reasonable price. The only thing I didn't like about it is the limited storage possibility. It would be perfect if it can be connected to an external SSD.

Nice looking design. High Quality printer

Usually Brother brand printers are looking bulky and mostly a cheap variant of HP. This MFC-J690DW is a good way to go as superior product. Brother made this printer with very responsive and comprehensible touch screen control. Printer is slim (for the options) and has the top completely flat when closed. Looking really sharp. Setting up the printer was very easy thanks to the touch screen display! Connecting it to WIFI was fast. I even tried with a low signal WIFI, the printer did just fine. It is an MFC so there is also a fax machine included. While the FAX should be extincted... Brother fax machine built in this printer is really something different: It allows you to fax directly (through the MFC of course) from your phone, laptop, chromebook... Something that used to require some extra steps in the past.
The printing quality of this MFC -J690DW is really above average it exceeded my expectation. Scanning, copying and printing are quite fast (what usually needed for small office or home use). Of course it is not your crazy laser printer... But it is just fine.
To my surprise, this printer still has the USB connection. It is kind of buried inside the printer for some reasons! Like Brother is ashamed to having it exposed! Honestly, they should have kept the Ethernet port instead... This is my personal opinion... Maybe some people are still using the USB for printing...
Printer has nice features like automatic duplex, back feeder (very important for some organizations and been neglected by other brands), easy ink cartridge loading with transparent level check!
Brother is also trying something good and mostly useful for a lot of companies out there: "Refresh by Brother". I like the idea and the concept as I am using it with different brand. Brother has to do better on the pricing though. It is still not very appealing.

Good design and build, fits comfortably over the ear. It is lightweight and does not condensate when sweating. It comes with different tension bands to adjust to different settings and head shapes. It is very easy to pair to your device. The sound is clear and ambient, however in order to really bring out the treble and bass, you have to set the volume around 70%. I personally enjoy the universal controls, especially when going out for a run outside. Charger port is USB Type-C, a good upgrade from the previous model. Long lasting battery, used it the whole day with no issues. Overall, I would recommend to a friend who is looking for a good quality wireless headphone that is both feasible and affordable.

Well, it has google assistance integrated but it beats any google device on their playground since this one is equipped with battery so it can go cordless for a while.
Installation was very easy. It has a good WiFi so it never had issues keep connected to my home wifi. Sound music is good, clear and strong enough. The sound capturing "microphone" is not the best but it is good enough. Battery has a good lasting life (more than enough) for any type of usage. The speaker has also a type-C USB connector that can be handy some times. It is safe to use it outdoor since it has some water (humidity) resistance. Volume level is loud enough. I mean, good to enjoy listening to music without annoying the neighbors... The only thing that is missing is the: CAST TO DEVICE like how chromecast is doing casting audio... Any ways, it is not a deal breaker but it would be nice if available.
Regarding the price, I look at it this way: You are getting a Bluetooth cordless speaker + Google Assistant in high quality and capable device (from Sony). So it is not a bad deal at all...

i had a very hard time finding a good laptop at Best Buy. Usually, the customer service is great. But last night, the customer service reps were more concerned with sitting down, texting and hanging out instead of helping customers. The sales associated ( brooklyn location) convinced me this was a good laptop (blowing me off). I left that location and went to another Best-Buy further away from my house. I end up purchasing the same laptop at this location from the supervisor. After i make it home, i open and set up this laptop, it crashed 4 times back to back. The screen has been unresponsive 4 times now. After 5 minutes of using it, i had so much spam on my computer, i couldn't read my email. Theres so much bloat wear on this computer it isn't funny. Its very glitchy. I've never owed nor used Lenovo products. I don't think i will ever buy another one. i'm very dissatisfied with this purchase and with Best Buy. I will be returning it later on today. A SAD EXPERIENCE!!!!!

Great computer, very thin. The one complaint that I have so far is that the battery is built in to the computer and not easily removable. This wont matter unless it begins having battery issues like every other laptop I've owned. So far so good.

I have some laptops with non-removable batteries. I never had issues with them so far. My IdeaPad is over 2 years old and is working perfectly. The built in battery make it more solid and less pieces to remove. I like the idea of uni-body!

Just got this labtop a few days ago. It keeps freezing every time I play on it. It says- 'Your PC ran into problem and needs to restart..." Maybe I've got a faulty one. Any ideas what could be done to fix this problem?
Another disappointment is that battery has only an hour and fifteen minutes of game time.
