Versatile mic with great recording quality!

When filming high definition video, the finished product is never good when the audio doesn't match the same high standard as the video. In comes the Joby Wavo Pro to help the content creator solve that issue! This microphone attaches to most digital camera and video recorders. It has an adjustable base so that it can be fit onto many different models of recording devices. It is super easy to know your battery life and to also know the audio levels incoming into the mic. When it detects sound, the colors on the mic change to let you know how loud it is coming into the mic. The mic also keeps a "back-up" copy of your audio that is a little lower in volume. This is nice in case of an unexpected audio spike! There is also an app the user can download to their smartphones. This allows the user to fine tune any audio adjustments on the microphone. I also like that the camera comes built onto a shock mount. This helps keep any bumps or inadvertent "thuds" from messing with your audio. The active noise reduction works pretty well, but I will have to use the mic a lot longer to be sure it is completely effective. All in all, this mic is great for the content creator. It is so versatile and can be used with many different devices. Take your audio to the same level as your high definition video! Your viewers will love it!

Great speakers for the podcast creator!

The JBL 2.0 Desktop Reference Monitor Speakers took my office/podcast studio to the next level! I have to make podcasts for work and these definitely help the process. I always like to know that my listeners are getting the best possible product. The only way to do that is to listen to the product aloud! These speakers are large. If you do not have a decent sized disk, you may not have enough room for them. They come with several wires, including a power wire, traditional speaker wires (for connecting the two speakers to each other, and an adapter that is part RCA and part stereo jack. There was no setup in terms of connecting them to my PC. Just plug and play. The bluetooth pairing process was super easy for using the speaker's built-in bluetooth option. After I got the speakers all connected, I hit the power button located on the back side of the main speaker, and they fired right up! There is a selection button that allows the user to specifically choose what input source they want (such as bluetooth, aux, rca, etc). There is also a volume knob that lights up. These lights go dim when the speakers have not been adjusted for awhile. There is also a connection on the back for regular instrument cables. I cannot wait to try these with my audio interface! The sound quality is amazing! For these to be desktop speakers, I wouldn't hesitate to use them on any important project that requires me to ensure I am putting out the best audio product. The bass is great and the speakers provide clear, crisp quality! Buy them, you won't regret it!

Great vacuum with one aggravating flaw

Shark is no stranger to the stick vacuum game. The Stratos Corded Stick Vacuum, for the most part, does not disappoint! Lets get the obvious out of the way. It is a stick vacuum so it, of course, fits in small areas. This is great for storage. The motor portion of the vacuum detaches from the vacuum head and wand portion. It has a built in hook that the motor portion can hang from. This makes the vacuum a lot less tall for easier storage in closets or cabinets. The motor portion also has a selection button that allows the user to choose between bare floors or carpet. Once the button is pressed there is a significant increase in power (when going from bare floor to carpet mode). The vacuum detaches from the brush roller and can be used as a wand with the included brush attachments. Two of the coolest features I noticed were the LED lighting on the brush roller, and the odor eliminator cartridge. The LED lights are extremely bright and when the brush roller has an issue, the lights begin to flash red to alert the user. The odor eliminator cartridge smells really good. You simply screw it into a designated slot on the brush roller. While vacuuming, the air in the room smells great. My only issue with it is that there is now way for that smell to last. I feel like most people will not buy a replacement odor cartridge once it is gone. Now, for my largest gripe about this vacuum. It will NOT stand up on its own. When the vacuum is in the upright, unused position, it leans back. The vacuum will not stay standing and, if you let it go, it will fall backwards. I do not like this at all. I feel like I should be able to "park" the vacuum and leave it standing upright in the middle of the room. This is, in my opinion, the largest downfall of this vacuum. It does a great job of pulling dirt from the surface being vacuumed, but that is lost on trying to find something to prop the vacuum up against when you need to walk away from it. All in all, it isn't a bad product, but it should be able to stand at attention.

Budget friendly headphones with limited bass

I will go ahead and spoil the ending first. These headphones do not, in my opinion, bring anything truly special to the table. They kind of just fade into the pack with all the other more "budget friendly" headphones. I didn't feel like the over all product was worth writing home about. These bluetooth headphones are light weight and the are meant to handle motion, but both the headphones and the charging case are so light that the feel mostly cheap. They loop over the top of the ears. I get that they are meant to stay put while exercising, but after awhile, I found them mostly uncomfortable. The headphones do come with extra sizes of tips so that the user can adjust them to the right fit. The battery life is probably the more impressive feature of these headphones. It is advertised that with the battery life on the earbuds and the battery life of the charging case, the user should get 30 hours total. The audio quality of these headphones was mediocre at best. They really lack an enjoyable bass experience. Anybody who enjoys music knows bass is one of the most important parts of the listening experience. These headphones were underwhelming at best. With all that being said, the price point isn't terrible. For budget headphones, someone who isn't much of a stickler for audio quality may enjoy these headphones. I guess they get the job done, but there are others out there that do it better for the same price point.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great addition to the Wyze Smart Lock!

The keypad for Wyze smart lock is, in my opinion, a necessary accessory for your Wyze smart lock. The two go hand in hand so when you don't have your keys or your phone to unlock your smart lock you can just simply type in a passcode. The keypad comes with all the necessary mounting hardware. It also comes with the power source which is two AA batteries. When purchased for the Wyze smart lock and while performing the pairing process, the app will ask if you want to pair a keypad. Once selected, the app will walk you through the entire process of pairing the keypad with the lock. What I really liked about the pairing process is that the Wyze wifi adapter automatically picks up the keypad. It was so simple! After pairing the keypad with the wifi adapter and lock, the app allows you to select a pin code that will unlock the smart lock. You can add multiple codes as well as time sensitive codes directly from the smartphone app. Another really cool feature is that the buttons have a backlight so you can unlock the smart lock in the dark! It is simple to set up, simple to use, and it isn't unbearably large. This is a necessary addition to the Wyze smart lock!

Wyze Lock is a staple in our smart home wizardry. This is a smart lock that that does what you expect, and really all that you need from a smart lock. Wyze Lock is Wi-Fi capable, so you can control it remotely from your phone to let the dog walker in, or make sure it gets locked after you left on your vacation in such a rush. That’s not all this bad boy can do. Wyze Lock comes equipped with App and knows when you arrive home and automatically unlocks as you approach the door. Once inside, Wyze Lock’s built-in gyroscope detects when the door is closed and automatically locks behind you. It’s got all that and more. Like we said, all the tech you need, now at a price you can afford.

The Wyze wifi smart lock enters into the crowded market smart locks and, in my opinion, it succeeds! It is nice to be able to use your own existing lock. Nobody really wants to change out keys for existing doors in their home. What is even better is that the lock, from the outside, will appear to be normal to the average viewer. The build quality of the lock feels very robust. It is metal and has a nice weight to it. It is battery operated by four AA batteries. Those are included in the package with the lock. Also included are various mounting hardware items. The package also includes a plug-in wifi adapter. I was worried at first because the package doesn't include instructions for the install. It simply points you in the direction of the phone app. Once the phone app is downloaded and your Wyze account is made the app walks you through the complete setup of the Wyze smart lock. I had no issues during setup of the wifi adapter or the lock. The two communicated together with ease. The only hiccup I ran into was during the "calibration" stage, where it instructs you to open and close the lock manually. After a few attempts the lock passed calibration. A firmware update was available after the setup was complete. That only took a few minutes. Now, I can unlock my door with my phone or my key! The app has some really cool features as well. There is a history of all the lock/unlock events. You can even set rules for the lock. For example, if you wanted the lock to unlock automatically when you arrive at home you could make it do that! This is a great lock with great features! If you are looking for a smart lock, look no further, the Wyze lock is where it's at!

Versatile True Wireless Earbuds

Sennheiser really did a great job with these true wireless headphones. First of all, the sleek design looks pleasing to the eye. They are comfortable and I really like the touch sensitivity for the controls. Simply tap the side of either earbud to control the functions of the earbuds/phone they are connected to. The customization that comes with the earbuds is also awesome. They come with multiple sizes of the ear canal inserts and multiple sizes of the "fins" help the you get the ideal fit. Internal customization is completed with an app that can be downloaded to your smartphone. I really liked how easy it was to pick a specific sound profile that fit my enjoyment. Simply open the app, start playing a song you enjoy, and the answer the questions it asks you. It essentially asks three different questions that pertain to low, mid, and high EQ settings. There is also the option for allowing background noise into your ears while you listen to music. Simply change the ear inserts from the closed to open inserts. This feature works well when you turn it on inside the app. It is surprising how much of your surroundings you are able to hear. You can hear the adjustments in real time and pick the one that sounds best to you. The charging case is nice and come with a lanyard to help you keep hold of the case. It is rated to hold up to 27 hours of battery life and the earbuds are rated at 9 hours of play time on a full charge. My only issue I had when using the earbuds was when I tried to upgrade the firmware on the earbuds. I tried multiple times and got an error message each time. I do not believe the update was ever completed. This, however, did not affect the function of the headphones while I was using them. All in all, these are great headphones!

I really do like this thermostat. It solves one of the most annoying problems about having a remote controlled AC unit, losing/not being able to reach the remote. We have it linked to our ductless mini split and it has worked well! After removing it from the box I followed the directions for pairing it to my mini split. It took a few tries to succeed on pairing it because the unit didn't want to connect to my wifi at first. Using the instructions on the phone app I downloaded I was able to finally get it up and running. I like how I am essentially able to use all of the features my mini split offers. I can do any temperature setting as well as "dry" and any other special setting. The display on the thermostat is easy to see and works well. I like how I can adjust the brightness of the display. The phone app is a breeze to use. It allows you to not only control your mini split, but also see the usage history. You can know what the ambient temp, humidity, and set point was for any given day. All in all, this is a very convenient product to have!

The Cube gps vehicle tracker is a nice product! When I purchased a side by side i wanted an option to track it if it were ever stolen. I searched online foe awhile and eventually, i was able to try out the Cube! The dorm factor of the device is great. It is very small and slim. It can be mounted just about anywhere. When I first received it, I stuck it in my book bag. We were leaving to gonout of town so I thought I would give it a try. 4 hours later we arrived at our destination. The tracker was located with no issues! I cannot wait to get it installed on my side by side. I even purchased a 12v charger to connect it to my battery since it doesnt come with one. Located the tracker is a breeze with the smartphone app. Simply download the app, creat your account, and then add your tracker! The tracker also has another cool feature. If you are in close proximity to it but you cannot seem to find it, you can make it beep from the app. I havent had a chance to see what the full bettery life is actually like. Please note, this tracker had to have a service subscription from Cube! All in all, this is a great GPS tracker that will meet most people's needs!

Skullcandy knows how to make a great, budget friendly set of wireless earbuds! This being one set of several that I own from Skullcabdy, I can honestly say that I may enjoy the fit of these more than the others. They come with the typical charging case and set of additional earbud tips in small, medium, and large. One thing I especially like is the button on the side of the earbuds. It isn't a "touch" button. It is an actual button you press down. This, I feel limits the amount of accidental touches. The companion app that is available for your smartnphone looks nice and functions well. You can customize features and adjust the EQ for the earbuds. You can also program the earbuds to be used as a button to trigger your smartphone to take photos. Skullcandy has also teamed up with Spotify to allow the user to jump into the music effortlessly. Another cool feature is the voice control. If you say "Hey Skullcandy..." the earbuds will also accept voice commands! One feature I wish would have been included is the ability to charge my device case on a wireless charger. All in all, this is a great ser of earbuds!
