The Shark SmoothStyle is a pretty cool concept. They had a great idea to place everything from a comb, straightener, and hair dryer all in one convenient package. I must admit, this product has some decent weight to it. It definitely weighs more then the typical hair dryer or typical hair straightener does on their own. The bulk is really the only negative that I found with this product. Upon unboxing it, I plugged it in and turned it on. I was surprised at the speed at which this device heated up! It was almost instant. For those people in a hurry to get ready, this device will definitely meet the challenge! The hair dryer portion moves quite a bit of air! I must note that, per the instructions, you cannot take your hair from completely wet to completely dry. The instructions state that the user's hair should be around 70% dry prior to using the device. I also like that it has a small tip on the end that allows the user to twist it. As you twist it the cord twists at the bottoms as well so the cord does not bind up. This device definitely helps produce volume for hair, but it is better suited for longer, straight hair instead of shorter straight hair.

Quiet and efficient fan!

Dyson has a history of making great products, and they didnt slack when they made this tower fan! I absolutely love it! First of all, the fan takes up minimal space. It has a very small footprint, especially when compared to other fans with standard blades that push the air. This tower fan doesn't have blades. It simply has the air multiplier feature that, in my opinion, spreads the air flow wider than a normal fan. It also comes with a remote control which allows a person to increase or decrease the fan speed. It also allows you to control the motion of the fan to broadcast air left to right. The fan doesn't pull air from behind it like most fans. The base actually has vent holes that pull air from below the fan and push it through the top of the fan. If you are looking for a fan that produces a lot of noise, this is not the fan for you. It is a lot quieter then a normal fan. It came well packaged and was fairly easy to assemble. It was essentially three pieces. The flat base, the fan motor, and the top where the air comes out. The white color of the fan does seem to attract/collect dirt easily. Over all, im happy with this fan!

Great Noise Cancelling Headset

The BlueParrott M300-XT SE Bluetooth Headset is a nice entry into the hands free talk market. I work in an office environment and there is nothing worse than having to hold a phone up to my ear when I am attempting to use my computer. I like the look of the device, as I do not feel like it is overly bulky. The weight, per the manufacturer, is only 0.7ounces. I will say that after awhile it does slightly bother my ear but, most of the time when I am in my office I take the headset off if I am not going to be actively using it for awhile. The device comes with three different sized ear pieces. I tried the medium that comes preinstalled however I ended up swapping to the small. It seems to feel more comfortable. At first, I was slightly concerned about how the ear piece sits in my ear. Unlike traditional bluetooth earpieces, this one does not insert into your ear canal. It sits on the outside of the ear canal. I was wondering if it would be loud enough for me to hear with background noise since it sits outside of the ear canal. It is plenty loud! You can easily hear the person you are speaking to, as well as any audio feed from your bluetooth connected phone. The noise cancelling feature seems to work great as well! I have not had anyone say they couldn't hear me, and in my office there is a significant amount of background noise. The phone app is nice to. When I first got the headset I connected it to my phone and it advised me I needed to update the headset. The update failed the first time, however it worked just fine the second time. You can make adjustments to the headset through the app so users have some customization available to them. All in all, this is a great headset, especially for an office environment!

The Dysin Gen5 Outsize is the latest and greatest entry from Dysin into the world of cordless stick vacuums. With Dyson having legendary suction, the Gen5 Outsize is no exception. The vacuum comes packaged well with a large amount of card board separating all of the components. Once put together, I completely charged not 1, but 2 batteries! That's right, the Gen5 Outsize comes with 2 batteries and 2 chargers! The Gen5 Outsize also comes with two different detachable brush rollers. One of them is for hard floors. That is my favorite feature of the vacuum, the hard floor roller. It has a green light on it the illuminates the floors so you can see all the dirt. You'll be shocked at how dirty your floors actually are! The carpet brush roller was, in my opinion, not the best part of this Dyson. We have pretty thick carpet and the Gen5 Outsize bogged down while trying to vacuum it. We even adjusted it on the brush roller and, at best, it was difficult to push across the carpet and it sounded like the brush roller was struggling. The Dyson has a digital display that constantly displays particle measurements as you are vacuuming. It also lets you adjust the power setting and it will show you the estimated battery life. I alsoblike the autobsuction power setting. As you vacuum, the Dyson will automatically increase or decrease the suction power based on the amount of dirt it detects. The Gen5 Outsize also has a realy cool built in wand/brush the slides out from around the dust collection bin. All in all, it is a decent vacuum. I just wish it did a better job on thick carpet.

The Withings Body Smart Wi-Fi scale is an awesome addition to anyone's general health/fitness regiment or, for daily life in general! Lets start with the looks! This thing looks premium. It isn't cheap looking or feeling and you get the sense that it was built well. It goes with most any decor and doesn't look like an eye sore. The setup was super simple. After unboxing the scale, I pulled the battery tab and placed it on the floor. The scale came with optional feet to attach to it for use on carpet if you aren't using it on a hard surface. I downloaded the Withings app and added my smart scale to the app. That was it! I made a profile and stepped on the scale. This scale takes all kinds of different readings. It starts with your weight. The cool thing is, it automatically recognizes the person stepping on the scale by their weight! After taking your weight, it reads multiple other things, such as heart rate and body composition. After your done, it even tells you the weather for the day! On the app, you can see a timeline of all your readings to see how you are progressing. I also like the app feature (Eyes-Closed) that allows you to not view the weight if you don't want to see it! This device is going to be a huge help for anybody looking for a smart way to keep track of their fitness progress.

The Crucial Pro 32GB desktop memory upgrade kit is worth every penny, especially if you are using your desktop computer for very labor intensive tasks, such as video editing, photo edition, and computer gaming. Honestly, it put my computer well over the amount of DDR4 memory that I needed. I edit a lot of photos and videos. The desktop I have came with some preinstalled, but using large editing software was slow and clunky. It always took a lot of time to load the software and then, while making edits, the software was slow to react to the changes I made. The Crucial Pro 32GB memory upgrade changed all that. All I had to do was match the specs from my desktop to the upgrade kit to ensure it would fit for my desktop. After that, I simply shut down the computer and unplugged it. I took the side cover off the desktop tower and removed the old DDR4 memory that was preinstalled. Once the old memory chips were removed, I slid the new ones into place. They literally clicked into place. I placed the cover back on the computer, plugged it back into a power source, and turned the computer on. It was JUST THAT SIMPLE! There was not software to be installed. The computer's speed is noticeably faster already! Upgrade your computer, you'll be glad you did!

If you have never used a chromebook, I highly recommend getting this one from Acer. While it may not be able to perform each and every function that a PC can do, it can certainly do a large majority of the things that a typical user would need. Being that it runs off the Chrome OS platform, it is integrated with all the apps for productivity, such a spreadsheet software, word processing software, and slide show software. This Acer has a nice black color and does look and feel like a sturdy device. It does not fold all the way back or transform into a tablet which is kind of a bummer. The keyboard is pretty standard. They really missed an opportunity to make it stand out a bit more due to not adding backlit keys. That would be great due to finding myself working in the dark frequently, but at the price point for this chromebook I guess it is not that big of a deal. The touch screen is nice and very responsive. The screen itself is plenty bright and looks great due to the Full HD and the 14" screen is big enough to complete work without feeling like you sacrificed screen size for portability. The computer loads fast and has great battery life. The chromebook also came with a zip up sleeve for storage which is nice to have for protection of your device. It also has a built in web cam on the top of the screen. I do not like that they did not include a privacy shield that can be slid over the camera. While it isn't the most powerful entry in the economy chromebook line, it is a decent chromebook that will allow you to stay productive on the go with access to all the apps and files you have in the cloud.

With this device, it is IMPOSSIBLE to over cook your food! Just take whatever your cooking, season it, place it in a bag (vacuum sealed or zip locked) and put it in the water. The Anova Precision Cooker takes care of the rest. The cooking technique known as sous vide uses water, placed and kept at a specific temperature, to cook your food. This device, with the built in clamp, hooks to most any pot and simultaneously heats and circulates the water around the bagged food item. You can certainly use the cooker without the app, but in using the app you can monitor your food from anywhere! The battery operated tools game used to be weak, especially when it came to blowers. Greenworks does a great job allowing the user to go cordless with their 80 volt battery powered blower. This blower puts out a lot of air! I have used some other brands that were only 60 volts and I must say, I feel like the power from this 80 volt blower is noticeably better. The design is sleek and one of my favorite parts about this blower is that it can be assembled and disassembled with ease. The air tubing comes off the blower motor body with a simple push of a button and a pull of the tubing. I also like that the blower has a lever on it that allows you to adjust the power so that the blower stays on without having to hold the trigger the entire time. This blower also has a "turbo" button on top that will temporarily boost the air output from the blower while the button is being pressed. This is handy for items that just do not want to budge from the standard air output (maybe wet leaves or other wet debris). Now that I have mentioned things I like, let's talk about a few of the minor issues I have with this blower.
First of all, the charger is very loud. After inserting the battery into the included charger, the cooling fan immediately kicks on and, from my observation, seems to stay on for the duration of the time it takes to charge the battery. This may not be a big issue for most people, especially if the charger is going in a garage, outside, or utility room, but it is something worth noting. The other issue I have with this blower is that, coupled with the somewhat oversized 80 volt battery (it is pretty big), it is pretty darn heavy. When the battery is inserted, the blower just doesn't feel balanced in your hand. It seems, in my opinion, to lean forward causing the user to have to adjust the angle by manipulating their wrist. This may become uncomfortable to some people with a prolonged period of usage. Over all, I feel like this is a great blower and it can certainly tackle most yard projects you throw up against it!

The Elvie Stride Plus is a very portable, battery operated pump for women who are breast feeding. If you are a very active person who needs the freedom to pump on the go, this is the set up for you! The form factor is very small, especially for something such as a breast pump. It can be worn without other people really noticing that you have it on! It is also very quiet which also contributes to people not knowing you are using it! You can use the Elvie Stride Plus with an app on your phone which allows you to control the pump without touching the devices while you are wearing them. You can control suction remotely while keeping up with the info on when you last pumped. It even allows you to store preferences so you can use the same settings again. I also really liked the carrying bag that it comes with. It has an ice pack and allows you to keep the breast milk cool when you are on the go and may not have ready access to refrigeration. It also allows you to store the components of the Elvie Stride Plus. This rechargeable breast pump is great for an on-the-go lifestyle and its convenience and portability are unmatched by any other pump! You will love this device!
