I have heard many good things about this type of product.
So was eager to give this Air Fryer a try.
Came with a small cookbook to help get started.
The tray for food is a little small. My older sister said it won’t hold a 3 lb. whole chicken but not so sure about that.
Younger sister gave us some tips on how to use machine. She said to be sure to turn over the food so it doesn’t get burned. She recently made turkey kebobs. Yum.
We tried potatoes and chicken wings first. Very satisfying results. But older sister likes to make desserts too.

Of course I encourage everyone to check out the product web page to learn more about good things this machine can do. Like cooking with very little oil and how crispy food comes out.
Looks easy to clean. Being able to remove food tray makes it a breeze to keep it clean.
The temp control knob on my stove recently broke so glad I can use machine on an electrical outlet near the stove.
This is a cooking sensation in my opinion, so encourage people to try one out soon.

This is Jaybird’s premier totally wireless headphones. Actually they’re earbuds.
Has IPX7 waterproof rating and a compact, low profile case which makes it easy to carry and charge the earbuds Really love the magnets inside the case. Makes it easy to be sure the earbuds are properly inserted for charging.
I would be careful not to lose the charging case with the earbuds in them tho. See my photo of case with carrying cord.
There’s six hours of audio on a full charge, plus ten more in charging case. A five minute quick charge gets an hour of playtime. Independent bud use extends total power to 32 hours.

I'm always on the lookout for healthcare apps so when I saw this one I jumped on it right away.
Have been reading about sleep studies at Stanford University so was curious about my condition.
Sleep Score on the app makes it easy to tell how I’m doing.
Not ready interested in linking my bedroom’s Philip Hue light bulb to app but may try it someday.
Mat makes it easy to move it to a different place from time to time.
App was easy to understand. You do have to wait overnight for app to calibrate your sleep info.

Not a lot to say here.
Hey it’s a Laser Jet B+W printer. Most folks who have ever worked in an office, are probably familiar with this type of business printer.
Large monthly use capacity for a small or large business.
B+W printing only. So make sure you don’t need color printing, photocopies or scanning.
Front of machine folds down for legal size paper printing. Like the Ivory color of the machine.
Good for home or office use IMO.
It helps that printing is fast too.
Ink supposed to be smudge free and fast drying.
Glad box had two cut outs for easy carrying down or up stairs.
Whatever happened to the big poster HP used to use to help users get started ?
Recommend this printer for what it’s intended for.

I have been using home security cameras for the past 1-½ years.
Tried the more simpler options with cloud storage.
Thought it was about time to set up a system with a lot of local storage. And to increase coverage. Also didn’t want to pay for offsite storage.
Had to relocate my ISP gateway to a downstairs location in my relative’s two story house.
Two of the cameras are physically close to the DVR which made it easier to set up.
Note house is not sitting on top of a cement slab. I was able to use crawl space underneath the property to run the power cords.

Camera overlooking rear deck needed more work as it’s further away from the DVR.
Haven’t decided yet where to place the fourth camera. Maybe on the side of house ?
Already had a spare 24” desktop PC monitor and table for everything.
Now I feel like I’m back at a commercial property, where the building office had security cameras next to the desk, where I sat.
Really like the feeling of knowing there’s security surveillance helping to keep an eye on my property.
Worthwhile investment IMO.
Recommend a system like this for home owners wherever you live.

Received in a colorful box. Makes the experience more exciting.
Read the Getting Started Guide and assembled the pieces.
Charged up battery in about 40 minutes. Run time suppose to be 30 minutes which is OK for
my one bedroom condo. Problem is I’m moving it soon to a two story 2500sf house. Plan is to use it downstairs and on the carpeted stairs. Have another vac for upstairs area.

Turned on and placed into High Mode for best results.
It did a pretty good job vacuuming my condo’s carpets. Appreciate the two bright LED lights so I could see what I’m doing.
Unit does not come with rotating brushes so cleaning smaller area rugs is all you can expect.
But should be OK for hardwood floors. Must be careful not to use a lot of water on Pergo tho.

Weight is fairly light for a Hoover product. My last Hoover upright vac weighed too much and took some time to get used to. Not the case with this product.
Don’t like the idea of having to remove the battery pack and placing it into a wall charger. But that’s what needs to be done if I want a big battery to use.
Must say the machine is good looking. Pretty eye catching design in my opinion.
Recommend this product for those with the right needs/use case.

This is my second Super Tank all-in-one printer for this year. Other one was from a different OEM.
While I was waiting to get the shipping notification that it was delivered, I studied the documentation online.
Installed the Epson iPrint app on my Pixel 3XL Android phone and an Acer R11 Chromebook that is Android compatible. Thought it was strange that app is called iPrint. At first I thought it was for iOS but it’s an Android

Instructions are straight foward. Does take more time because filling toner tanks is a two step process. And ink charging takes a bit of time too.
Using machine on Google Cloud Print.
Nice that the printer supports CUPS which makes it real easy to use on Chrome OS.
Used Pixel phone’s Google App to set up the Google Assistant. Voice commands is a recent feature of some printers. Note not all Super Tank printers support CUPS or the Google Assistant yet.
Print quality is just as good as other competing Super Tank printers. Printer is also smaller and lighter than the last Super Tank I had.
The one thing that bothers me is that shipping to Epson to recycle empty toner bottle is paid for by me. HP can send you pre-paid shipping envelopes.
So will try to bring empty toner bottles to Office Depot or Best Buy.
Recommend this printer for cost savings.

Came in a big, colorful, HP box.
A HDMI-HDMI video cable was included.
Might get a Displayport to Displayport video cable later as I will need the HDMI cable for a docking station for my Pixel 3XL (Android Q desktop mode). Monitor can handle USB-C video but my Chromebox doesn’t have USB-C. Chromebook does have USB-C tho.
Before I used an overhead built in ceiling light bulb for my old 23.8” FHD monitor.
But the larger 31.5” display of this QHD HP monitor might be bright enough that I don’t need
extra lightning.

With HDMI video input you should be good to go on just about any PC.

Don’t need built in speakers as I use a good bluetooth speaker.
Set up was pretty straight foward and didn’t take much time at all.
I’m not a gamer but would like to try this monitor out with Google’s Stadia online, streaming, gaming service later this year.
Nice to have a big beautiful display for my old, aging eyes.
Note my HD 1080p webcam is still 1080p and not QHD.

Arlo is a Netgear brand.
If you are not familiar with Netgear, it’s a networking company known for router products.
That’s one of the big reasons I’m interested in their security cameras.
Arlo has one of the most comprehensive line of security cams and accessories I’ve seen.
The Ultra has some nice features like 4K and HDR advanced image quality technology, wide angle 180 deg. view with no “fish eye effect” and a built in spot light. A rechargeable, replaceable battery, is included in the box. Battery life suppose to be 3-6 months.
I didn’t realize there’s a Battery Access Button on the cam to open it up. Once open I inserted the rechargeable battery. I used a nearby electrical outlet to power the cam in the mean time.
Arlo can be expanded with multiple cams. So in a way it’s future proof.
I tested it with a low light, night time, environment outside my front door.
No glare and very sharp images very much appreciated.

Base station has a built in siren which I have never seen before.
Installation using the mobile app was very easy. But I have installed another one of these devices before.
I’m not aware of other smart home devices that work with the Advanced Smart Hub (Base Station) but I’m sure I’ll figure it out.
There are many ways to mount the cam. Be sure to check out options.

So far I’m very pleased with how things are going.

Daughter opened today, Christmas morning, and this Acer R11 has same problem a few of the others have had according to reviews..., repeatedly turns off and on. Just my luck. Talk about a disappointed daughter! Geez. I'm a little upset to say the least. I hope exchange goes smoothly tomorrow, if there is another in stock that is.

I have owned two Chromebooks prior to the R11. I am familiar with the Chrome OS ecosystem, what it has to offer, and where it falls short.

BUILD QUALITY (3/5):
The build quality of the R11 is average, at best. It has a patterned aluminum cover/lid, but it doesn’t make the device feel any bit premium, and I wouldn’t count on it providing any additional protection to the display. The unit I received has misaligned hinges, which causes the device to rock a bit at certain angles—in addition to being an eyesore. That being said, I don’t feel as though it will cause any harm to the device in the long-term.

I had no issues with flipping the display 180 degrees. Typing on the keyboard was fine, but I personally felt as though the keys could have had less resistance or bit more vertical displacement. I had to press harder on these compared to other keyboards I’ve tried on Chromebooks around this price range.

The 11.6” display runs at 1366x768—resulting in 135 ppi (pixels-per-inch). Comparatively, a 13.3” display at 1920x1080 results in 165 ppi. The R11 display is adequate at this resolution—text is sharp enough to avoid complaining, and viewing images and videos is enjoyable.

That is, unless you’re trying to use it in direct sunlight. This display is quite reflective, so you won’t be using this much in direct sunlight. With a bit of shade, you’ll be fine. Indoors, the display is adequate and provides adequate brightness. The display is also quite reflective and is also a smudgy fingerprint magnet, which is why indoor use in moderate lighting conditions is ideal.
As for the touch screen, it works quite well. If anything, Chrome OS needs more refinement and more features to really utilize the touchscreen. Multi-touch worked without issue. However, modern web content isn’t really suited to touch screens, so it’s definitely a bit awkward to have a touch screen, at the moment.
PERFORMANCE (2/5):
I really can’t give this Chromebook a 3 because there are older, cheaper Chromebooks that outperform this more expensive R11. The Intel Celeron N3050 is really a bottom-bin Intel Atom, more than it is a Celeron. These fanless processors (aside from the Core M series) don’t come close to the U-series Celerons. Sure, you’ll get more battery life, but what is that worth if it’s a pain to use the device?
I really can’t give this Chromebook a 3 because there are older, cheaper Chromebooks that outperform this more expensive R11. With my bookmarks, caching, history, extensions, etc. that is associated to my Google account, this Chromebook could not handle more than a few tabs without throwing a fit. When I used Guest mode, the Chromebook performed adequately with 4 tabs—to the point where scrolling was not abysmal.
That being said, I had much better performance on a 13.3” 1080p Chromebook using the Intel Celeron N2840 and 4GB of RAM—which was the same price as the R11. Even Acer’s own C720 outperforms the R11.

The battery life on this Chromebook doesn’t quite stand up to some other contenders, but with light processor usage, it shouldn’t have any problem lasting throughout the day before needing a charge. However, the idle drain is not very good. For a fanless design, you would expect low power consumption when the device is idle, but you will want to turn the device when you aren’t using it for long periods of time—otherwise you will be saying goodbye to 10-20% of your battery.

Being my first Chromebook this was a brand new experience for me which made it fun to review.
Pros:
Lightweight - can use on lap without getting uncomfortable.
Good build quality - Case, hinges, keyboard felt sturdy and well built.
Pretty good battery life - not sure about the advertised 10 hours but I used in tent mode listening to music all day at work for several days (6-8 hours) and it had around 20% left.
Easy to setup - If you already have a Google account like I do all you have to do is sign in and it syncs everything up for you.
Lightweight - can use on lap without getting uncomfortable.

Chrome Apps - Was not all that excited about how all of the core Chrome apps are just the web versions opened up into new tabs in the Chrome browser. Also, there is not a very good selection of Chrome OS apps in the chrome web store. I was really underwhelmed. I think it will get much better when Google finishes integrating the Play store into the Chrome OS which will open up availability to many more of the Android apps out there but for right now it seems pretty limited.
Offline mode for certain functions needs special apps (e.g. gmail) - Some apps like mail require a special app to use if you are offline. Why can't the core gmail app just be smart enough to work connected or disconnected.

This is a decent little 2-in-1 if you subscribe to the "cloud" OS always connected model. Great for internet surfing and light productivity work especially if you are all-in with the Google app Eco-system. Don't expect to be as productive as using a traditional laptop computer though, especially when disconnected. Also until the Play store and Android is fully integrated you might be disappointed in what apps are available.

Soundbar is really a soundbox because it's compact. Rich sound from such a small form factor.
Sub woofer not very loud but tech support said they could replace it.
Bluetooth and casting works fine. WiFi enabled but don't need it.
Still learning all the features so may provide feedback at a later date.

Mesh Wi-Fi router can cause interference

I had installed the soundbar next to a Linksys Velop Wi-Fi Mesh Router. On Pergo flooring with 9' high ceiling in a family room.
Caused all kinds of problems.
Then moved to approx. 12' away from a TP-Link wireless N router. Problems went away.
My set up is now in the living room of my condo. There is a 20' vaulted ceiling. Sound still quite amazing.
Most of the time I used the built in Chromecast feature. Have casted from a Nexus 6 phone and a Chromebox so far. Soundbar is connected to my TV with the OPT cord provided.
Had the remote replaced. Testing it now. Can say the soundbox recognizes it.
Price is on the lower end of the Polk Home Theater line. I highly recommend it. Will always some gear like it on any TV's purchased in the future.

It has a built in sub woofer so the bass was good. Maybe that's why it's so big
Connected my Nexus 6 to the USB port to charge it.
Connected an old iPod Touch 4th gen. and it worked too.
Battery took three hours to charge out of the box. Had to try several
times to insert the US power adapter but eventually it snapped into place.

Hands free speaker works with mobile phone

Forgot to mention there's a blue button on the control panel, for taking a hands free, mobile phone call using this speaker.
I may not be close enough to the BT speaker to use this, but it's nice to have anyway.

This is my first Roomba. Must say it's loads of fun. Did a good job cleaning the carpet in my 724 sf one bedroom condo. I say this b/c I had to clean the dust out of the bin after using it only one time. Best to use the mobile app as U can program it to clean on certain days. Also it's easier to tell the Roomba to end the job and head back to the charging base. Roomba took almost 25 minutes to clean my carpets which seemed like a long time. And I cleared away a lot of furniture and stuff on the floor before operating it. Don't think it cleaned very well underneath my bed. Maybe it will as time goes by. Also it was a bit noisy but not much more than my upright Hoover SAVVY. At this point I need more experience with it and will not let it loose if I'm not home.

Needs time to learn about UR flooring

I ran my Roomba 890 for the third time this morning. It went straight for my bedroom bed and spent a lot of time underneath it. Must have some kind of dust sensing feature for carpeting. It did, however, spend waaay too much time in the living room. Carpets there are cleaner than other areas in my condo so don't understand the logic of it.
Will keep using it until I get it figured out.

Attach the Window Mount to Circle 2 Camera and place it on any window pane to see outdoors. Watch over the front porch and driveway or overlook the backyard from indoors.

Couldn't find any info from the OEM about why it does what it does. Maybe they think mounting the camera outside is better ?
Think I read something on a blog post about reduced glare & reflections and that's why I purchased it.
Please see a photo from the box it came in, to read the most important feature for improved night vision.

I was skeptical at first when I found this book shelf mini Hi-Fi system.
Set it up in the living room of my one bedroom condo. Have high vaulted ceiling there.
Sound quality similar to the standard, factory installed, 6 speaker stereo system, in a 2005 Toyota Prius.
Bass effect could be a bit better tho.
Have some CD’s and even audio cassettes from several years back. All played fine. System couldn’t detect my old, iPod Touch 4th Gen. I was able to play a MP3 from a USB 2.0 flash drive tho.
I used to listen to FM radio a lot. Selection of stations not too good where I live. But I can get the same content I listen to, when I’m driving.
Wish the two speakers didn’t have to use wires.
Speaker and main console fit under my TV stand. Other speaker went into my old stereo system cabinet.
Nowadays I like to stream free, Google Play Music radio stations, so can make greater daily use of this system. Pandora was also fine.
If U find this system on sale @ Best Buy for $149.99 with free shipping, U are doing pretty good IMHO.
This is a Gr8, compact sized, Hi-Fi system, for those who don’t have a lot of room to work with.
And the price won’t break the bank.

One of the main reasons I want a Tablet is so that I can download magazines and books and read them offline. How is the display quality for functions like this?
Display is IPS and will be fine for UR use. Micro SD card slot accepts up to 32 GB too.
