Surprisingly Fun

There are a lot of sub-par music games out there on the DS (such as the High School Musical games), but this is one of the first ones who actually does it right. The graphics are basic, but the fun level is through the roof with a seemingly endless minigames and a variety of rhythm challenges. It's easily one of those games you plan to play as a time killer, and then end up spending hours with it.
What's great about it: HIghly Addictive
What's not so great: basic graphics

A Fun Brainteaser

Having had this game for the Wii, I decided to pick up the DS version (which came out first) and was not disappointed. Some challenges are similiar but many are different so it is not redundant to own both versions. It is especially fun with a group of other DS owners. I find that the expert levels are near impossible to master, but that is probably the point so you can always be challenged. A great, inexpensive game that also makes for a good time killer in those down times.
What's great about it: Lots of challenges
What's not so great: No online multiplayer

Good study tool

Another non-game for the Nintendo DS, but this one is actually worth it, especially if you are prepping for the SATs. Very informative and deep, My SAT Coach has multiple mini games and memorization tools and techniques that can legitimately improve your SAT score. The downside is that there are not many test options when it comes to practicing the SAT, as its basically just two different run throughs. Overall, a handy tool and probably one of the better titles of the My Coach series.
What's great about it: Great training, fun minigames
What's not so great: Not enough practice final test options

Once upon a time, the gaming world was turned on its head by a little gray cartridge for the Nintendo Entertainment System: Super Mario Bros. Now, more than twenty years later, witness the evolution of the platformer that started it all with New Super Mario Bros., the latest installment of the beloved franchise on the Nintendo DS. It may be in incredible 3D, but you'll hearken back to those glorious 2D days of stomping Goombas, kicking turtle shells and chasing mushrooms.Join Mario and Luigi as they jump and climb their way over fields, under water, through castles and into the air. Collect all-new powerups, including the Blue Shell that Mario can ride in and the massive Mushroom that makes him super-huge. Team up with a friend and play as both Mario and Luigi in multiplayer mode. You and Mario will both take a nice little trip back to your roots with New Super Mario Bros.

Great take on an old classic

With the announcement of New Super Mario Bros for the Wii, many people may be coming back to give the DS version a look, and it would be well worth it. Even though there are much more graphically advanced Mario games out there, there is just something about a good ol' 2D side scroller that will warm your heart. New powerups, new twists on classic levels and the portable fun makes this one a winner.
What's great about it: Classic gameplay with a twist
What's not so great: nothing

Good, solid First PErson Shooters are few and far between on the DS, but Call of Duty: World at War is definately at the top of the list. Brimming with a fast frame rate and great graphics, COD also futures reliable online multiplayer and makes this title not just a port, but a stellar DS game in its own right.
What's great about it: Greta graphics, online play

Great upgrade to the Nintendo DS
on June 7, 2009
Posted by: ericwithcheese
from Elkhart, IN
The Nintendo DSi is an upgrade to the previous DS system, which has sold over 100 million units worldwide. In comparison to the DS system, the DSi is thinner, longer and the inner screens are slightly bigger. The camera is not high quality and you cannot (as of yet) swap pictures via wireless internet, but you can to other nearby DSi systems. This summer, however, users can upload pics directly to Facebook. Future games will incorporate the camera to allow gamers to put their own images and faces in games. The handheld lacks a GBA slot which will make games such as Guitar Hero unplayable.
But the biggest draw is the ability to download games via DSiWare (similar to the Wii). As of this writing, there is not much available for it yet, but it will soon be populated with lots of content, application and more.
At only $40 more than the current DS, the DSi is definately worth the upgrade.
What's great about it: Downloadable content, camera, SD card storage
What's not so great: no GBA slot

Excellent Racing on the Go

Mario Kart has long been a series that is synonymous with the word fun, and Mario Kart DS is no exception. A total of 32 tracks awaits you (16 all-new and 16 classic tracks from previous entries in the franchise), as well as battle modes, missions and free play. The online component is somewhat limited, but still enables the player to race against human opponents at any time. Lots of unlockables and lots of fun. Highly recommended.
What's great about it: Fun, easy to play
What's not so great: limited online features

Pure Pop at Its Best and Worst
on September 24, 2008

The Jonas Brothers are sweeping the nation with their standard pop songs and admittedly, some of them are prettu fun. They are catchy, and they stick with you. But as with most overproduced Disney-oriented music of this nature, it grows a little thin, even by the short running time standards. Definately worth it if you are a pop music fan, but it most assuredly not for everyone.
What's great about it: Lighthearted and Fun
What's not so great: Long in the Tooth

Razr Sharp

The razr was THE must have phone a few years ago, and despite it falling fell behind on the ladder of technology, it is still immensely popular today.
The T-Mobile version is idential to the original V3 models carried by Cingular (now AT&T) Wireless that caused all the commotion. Housed in a bold pink color, the razr features bluetooth technology, AIM and Yahoo Instant Messengers, a large vivid color screen and a vga camera. The firmware is updated from its original version for better stability. Battery life is on the moderate to low side, which is to be expected from a phone this slim.
Overall, still a good phone, and a great addition to the T-Mobile prepaid lineup.
What's great about it: Bold Pink Color
What's not so great: Low Battery Life

Great movie, bad transfer
on August 3, 2008
Posted by: ericwithcheese
from Elkhart, IN
As a movie, "28 Days Later" is a superior motion picture. But as a Blu-ray high definition disc, it falls completely flat. Due to the director's artistic filmmaking choice of camera-type use, "28 Days Later" looked good on standard DVD, but unbelieveably blocky and choppy on Blu-ray, to the point of being very distracting. Only in the final scene is where the high definition really shines.
The same set of extras are ported over from standard DVD to Blu-ray, with a small exclusive alternate ending only available on this disc.
The retail price of the disc is about $20 more than what the standard DVD goes for, and is not worth the "upgrade" if you own the latter.
What's great about it: Excellent movie
What's not so great: Horrible transfer

When is Kingdom Hearts 358/2 gonna be on sale?

I heard the game was available since May 30th, maybe this is not the right place to find it.
It was released in Japan on May 30th. It will be released in the United States in September.
