Very comfortable and amazing sound
on September 3, 2022
Posted by: Alex
These are very comfortable gaming headphones, with quite a bit of configurability.
Setup: pretty easy, and a few different methods are available. There are multiple ways you can receive audio, include line in, bluetooth, or the included dongle with even better quality wireless audio than bluetooth. The setup instructions are pretty straight forward, and guide you through the process. To get the most out of these headphones, you install some software that unlocks the features of the headphones, and allows you to change many settings.
Use: When using the software, you are able to configure the sound profiles, microphone use, how the lights work, and you can even set up the physical buttons and allow multiple sound sources are the same time!
Sound: The quality is very good. It has simulated surround sound, and you can adjust this in the software. The microphone has adjustable sensitivity and sidetone, and overall the headphones provide a nice, robust, sound quality. You can adjust the settings to your little hearts content, and get these set up exactly how you like.
Comfort: The ear cushions are very comfortable, and you can buy different ones to customize them even more; however, I am very happy with the included ones, and you can wear these for a long time and not have any comfort issues. They are light enough, and he head band is nicely padded.
Cons: There aren't many, and overall I'm very happy. I do wish the microphone was a bit more adjustable though. It is removable, which is nice if you want to use these are just "regular" headphones, BUT, I already have "regular" headphones, so I never remove it. Since it is removable, you can't adjust it very much other than bending it.
Overall: I like these headphones. They are comfortable with great sound quality.

amazing horsepower, and looks great

Short review: Buy this computer
Longer review: Let me explain a bit.....
What's in the box? The computer, corded gaming mouse and keyboard with matching RGB LED lights, and a getting started guide.
Setup: I unboxed this computer, plugged it in to the wall and my monitor, and started it up. Within seconds I was greeted with the Windows 11 setup guide. Now, I'm not a fan of Windows 11, but thats not what this review is about.
Use and computing power: I don't have specific testing specs, but what I can say is WOW. This computer boots up from a cold start in seconds, and can run any game or application I throw at it. I've been using Flight Simulator 2020 on Ultra (actually higher than ultra...every slider as high as it can go) settings, running a 4K monitor on HDR and this thing doesn't even have to run the fan speed higher. Graphics are butter smooth, and from startup to flying is just minutes (which is quick for MSFS2020). I've also been playing AOE4, which is not graphics heavy at all, but it loads super quickly. As well as Forza Horizon 5 on the highest settings. Not a single issue with this computer running games.
Hardware: Well, looks wise this thing is gorgeous. Clear windows with multiple, programmable LED lights, as multiple fans to keep it cool. It looks great and is quiet. There are many ports, including display port, HDMI, USB and USBC (even some on the top on the front for easy connectivity of a joystick or gaming controller that you don't want to leave out all the time). While this computer is large, it is extremely powerful and doesn't overwork itself trying to power anything.
Overall, this thing is great, and I am very happy with its looks, build quality and performance.

When it comes to gaming performance, the slightest disadvantage can be the difference between winning and losing a match. With a 240Hz refresh rate, lightning fast 1ms (GTG) response time and full adaptive G-Sync compatibility and FreeSync Premium support, you can be sure that the Odyssey G4 won’t let you down on the battlefield.

Great monitor if you can use the features
on July 28, 2022
Posted by: Alex
The quick and dirty with this monitor is that, for the money, it is excellent. There are a few cons, but I'll get to that in a minute.
First....
What's in the box: The monitor itself, stand, power brick, HDMI cable, Display Port cable and a quick start guide.
Setup: For the basics, not much to it. You set up the stand, plug in the power and the video source. The stand is very nice for the price point. To be honest though, I didn't use it because I have built in VERSA stands on my desk (which this monitor can use). The stand is nice though, a good heft and and adjust in many directions. Nice touch. The rest of the setup depends, really, on what you're using to feed video. Most of the setup is going to be on your computer or gaming device. You can adjust picture levels such as brightness, color, sharpness, etc on the monitor itself. It has the typical Samsung monitor adjustment GUI, which is finicky until you get used to it.
Picture quality: VERY good. The colors, brightness and refresh rate are great. This monitor is only 1080P though, so keep that in mind. With that being said, the refresh rate is huge. I didn't realize what a difference 240hz makes! I don't really notice picture tearing anymore. This does support free sync/G-Sync if you have a compatible video card.
Cons: No speakers, even though it looks like there are some built in. There is a volume setting in the menu; however, this is for the volume of headphones connected and it just acts as a passthrough to external speakers. The bezel is quite large, especially at the bottom for things that I cannot figure out what they are. Only 1080P, but for this price, thats not surprising.
Overall: I like this monitor, and the picture is very good. Except for the cons noted above, for the price, you can't really beat it.

nice quality gaming controller
on July 12, 2022
Posted by: Alex
This controller is a definite upgrade from cheaper controllers that tend to break. As soon as you open the box, you can tell that there is a difference in quality and this just has a nice feel to it.
Whats in the box: The controller, 12 foot braided cable, extra thumb pads, extra controller and stick weights.
Use: This is a highly customizable controller via the app on either the Xbox or PC. You can change a lot of things, from dead zones, curve, axis, vibration intensity and more, and then save up to 4 different profiles. The right thumb stick has a colored circle around it that you can correlate to one of the profiles so a quick glance you know what profile is loaded, and there is a button to quickly switch between the profiles. The included booklet was basic, but there are plenty of youtube videos out there that show you how to set up and get full "power" out of this controller. The RT and LT buttons are pressure sensitive, and the RB and LB buttons are not. You have the option to plug in headphones and unlock dolby atmos in the headphones, but I don't really use this as I use a home theater system for sound anyway. I'm not a fan of loud headphones, and dolby in headphones just doesn't sound as good to me as even a 5.1 surround system. This option is there for those that want it though.
Overall: I ended up not using any of the weights in the controller, as "stock" felt the best for me. I like that you can customize it though. This is a wired only controller, so be aware of that. It is plug and play, and you can use it right out of the box without setting anything up, but you can also go to town customizing it. This didn't get 5 stars because there are some random freezes that it has which need an unplug/plug in to get it working again. Doesn't happen often, but it has a couple times. The included carry case is nice. It is hard sided, and is compact enough to carry around, but large enough to where you don't have to jam the controller in.

The Steelcase Series 1 chair has a LiveBack flexor system in the backrest which conforms to your body and moves with you to support the spine as you change postures. The tilt mechanism is synchronized; the seat and back work in harmony with each other, keeping the body securely supported in the chair and feet firmly planted on the floor so you can recline without leaving your optimal zone for seeing and reaching your work. Feature set includes an adjustable seat depth, fully adjustable arms, adjustable lumbar, pneumatic seat height adjustment, recline tension adjustment (weight activated with adjustment and lock), flexing back with mesh upholstery, upholstered seat and wheels for hard flooring. The seat features strong yet pliable foam which conforms to the body and creates pressure-free comfort. Flexible seat edge offers a bit of bend, right where you need it – relieving pressure points under your thighs. This chair will arrive unassembled and require some assembly and is covered by a 12-year warranty.

Very comfortable with multiple adjustments
on June 1, 2022
Posted by: Alex
This is a very comfortable chair. At first glance, it looks kind of small, but unreality, it packs large comfort.
Assembly: Very easy. I was expecting a box full of parts and a bag of screws, which was not the case. The chair was in 4 parts, and no tools were required. All it took to assemble was set the base down, put the vertical pole in the base, click the seat on the pole, and click the padded seat bottom on. Easy peasy.
Use: The chair is very adjustable to make it comfortable for you. The seat bottom slides forwards and backwards via a button on the bottom that you hold down, and then slide the seat. Overall chair height is adjusted like you would like it would be, pull up on a tab and it goes up or down depending if there is weight on the chair or not. Each arm rest can adjust in height, width and angle, which makes It very customizable for comfort in your arms and shoulders. There is a lumbar support in the seat back; however, you can only adjust the height of the lumbar, not really an in or out type of adjustment. The last adjustment is the recline. You can lock the chair upright, or there are two levels of resistance to leaning back. You simply spin a knob under the seat for locked, or either of the two resistances.
Comfort: The chair is very comfortable. The mesh back allows for breathability, while providing support. The seat bottom is cloth, though very comfortable and I can sit in this chair for hours at a time while working. My shoulders no longer hurt as I'm able to adjust the arm rests to exactly what I need. The lumbar, while not 100% adjustable, provides a nice support in the lower back.
Cons: I wish the back recline had some more resistance, even when on the "toughest" resistance, the seat is fairly easy to recline. I also would like a bit more adjustment to the lumbar support.
Overall: Very comfortable chair, and I can work for hours while not fidgeting around and getting uncomfortable.

Great for what it does!

This is a very nice super automatic machine
What’s in the box: metal milk frothing mug, user manual, water hardness test strip and a few descaling packets.
Setup: very easy: wash the water container, add beans and plug it in. If you don’t want to customize anything, you’re done. Push one of the few options to make an espresso shot, get hot water or turn on the steamer. If you want to customize the drinks, the easiest way is to connect the unit to WiFi, and set up the app. This is very easy to do, and once done - you can make custom brews such as make a cup of regular (as regular as you can get), or tweak the other settings to customize how you would like.
Use: also very easy and intuitive. Turn it on and it will do a self rinse. Then push the button corresponding to the drink you want. It will grind the beans and make a nice shot of espresso, or cup of coffee, for you.
Cleanup: there isn’t much to do. The drip tray is held in by magnets, so it’s very easy to remove to rinse out. The brew unit is easy to remove and clean out excess coffee grounds and gunk that builds up over time.
Overall: this lacks some of the high end features that more expensive super automatics have, but if this has the brew features you use, this is a great unit to buy!

Easy to use, fun to ride, nice rubber tires
on January 20, 2022
Posted by: Alex
from Virginia
This the first hoverboard type device that I've owned. I have a wee bit experience as one time I did a Segway tour, but other than that I have no idea what I'm doing.
Whats in the box: Instructions, the hoverboard itself and a charger.
Setup: First off, charge the thing! It does take a while, up to 5 hours, but battery life is great so it's not too bad of a charge time. If you want, you can sync to the App and set up the Bluetooth speaker. The app setup is easy, turn on the hover board, open the app, Tap the bluetooth icon in the app and away you go. While in the app, you can see current speed, change modes (beginner, expert, etc) and have an odometer. I don't use the app much, as I don't travel long distances with the hoverboard. It could be useful if you traveled further with it, but not just doodling around the block with it.
Use: I had basically. no experience with a hoverboard, and this was quite easy to get used to using. You stand behind the unit, step on with one foot, and quickly step on with the other foot. The instructions say to be confident in this move, and it is TRUE. If you hesitate, or do it slowly, the board can start to spin around. After a few tries, I was able to get on the board without leaning on anything. After you get on the board, it takes a minute getting used to standing and the VERY slight movement required to move. It is sensitive, and will move by basically thinking you want to go in a certain direction. It really does not take long to get used to it, and I'm already riding around like an expert. Speaking of expert....what does expert mode do in the app? As far as I can tell, it lets the hoverboard go full tilt/speed forward, which is just too fast for me to be comfortable. In beginner mode, it seems to max out at about 4 MPH, I have yet to max out expert mode, but I feel like its more than 7 mph.
Ok, so you've cruised around your neighborhood on your hoverboard with spinner rims (yes, its fricken amazing, SPINNERS!), blasting the jurassic park theme and "rollin'" by Limp Bizkit on the bluetooth speaker (which, is fairly loud, but kinda muddy sounding). How long does it last? a LONG time. You can easily get 5 miles of range out of this thing. I haven't had an issue with range, but I do not use this as a long distance traveling machine, just to get the mail down the road or go from my living room to kitchen.
Overall: This thing is great. It is well built and easy to use. I love the rubber tires as you can dork around in the house with this and not scratch floors.

Cleaning up after pets has never been easier than with CrossWave X7 Cordless Pet Pro, our BEST CrossWave multi-surface cleaner for homes with pets. It vacuums and washes at the same time, across sealed hard floors and area rugs, combining cleaning steps and saving you time. It’s perfect for grab and go cleaning of frequent pet messes with up to 30 minutes* of hassle-free, cordless run time and it weighs just over 10.5 lbs. Our pet parent engineers incorporated three different cleaning modes: Hard Floor Mode, Area Rug Mode and TURBO PET Mode to boost cleaning performance, especially for pet and everyday stuck-on messes. CrossWave X7 Cordless Pet Pro multi-surface cleaner also has LED headlights to illuminate pet hair, dirt and debris while cleaning along baseboards and in corners. And unlike when you use a mop and bucket, there’s no need to worry about putting dirty water on the floor while you clean, since our Two-Tank Technology keeps the clean and dirty water separate. When you’re done cleaning, CrossWave X7 Cordless Pet Pro cleans itself! It has a self-cleaning cycle that rinses the brush roll and inside of the CrossWave with clean water, so there’s less clean-up after cleaning. Plus, it comes with two trial-size bottles of our PET Clean + Natural formula and two PET Multi-Surface Brush Rolls. And this machine doesn’t just clean up after pets, it helps save them! BISSELL proudly supports BISSELL Pet Foundation and its mission to help save homeless pets. When you buy a BISSELL product, you help save pets, too. We’re proud to design products that help make pet messes, odors and pet homelessness disappear.

best multi surface cleaner I've used
on December 29, 2021
Posted by: Alex
from Virginia
And I've used a few of them!
First impressions: This thing looks and feels expensive. Excellent built quality and it just looks....sleek and fancy. The dark gray, black and copper colors look great. Thats not really what matters though, but it sure does help.
Setup: Easy. Click the handle into the body, plug in the base, set the unit on top of the base, and you are done. Let it charge for a wee bit and you're good to go.
Use: This unit has 3 modes: bare floor, carpet and turbo pet mode. There are two buttons: power and mode select. Press power, it defaults to bare surface, and tilt the handle back to start the brush. Easy peasy. My house is all hard surface except for some area rugs, so this unit works great. I can clean around 1500 square feet of wood, and a few small area rugs, and have 1/3 of the battery left and use exactly 1 tank of water/cleaning solution. You use this as you would a traditional carpet cleaner: squeeze the trigger as you push, let go and pull back to dry. I don't need to do a second drying pass as it does a very nice job on the first pass.
Cleanup: These units are always a pain to clean, and Bissell has made this one as easy as possible. I've had an older corded Bissell unit that does basically what this one does, and I hated cleaning it. This one, however, has a very nice self cleaning mode that takes the majority out of it. When you are done cleaning, set the unit on its base and push the self clean button. It uses water and spins the brush to clean the brush head and the area that touches the floor. It gets basically everything, and all you need to do is tilt the front brush cover up to let it dry. The dirty water tank has a nifty little hair filter with a handle that you simply pull up to strain all the hair and dump that in the trash, then just pour the dirty water down the drain.
Overall: I love this unit. Looks great, works great and is as easy to clean as anything like this could be. I love that is battery powered as well, no more dragging a cord around.

basic but does what it is designed to do well
on December 2, 2021

This is a basic battery pack to charge devices, nothing fancy, but you don't need fancy.
There are 2 USB A ports, and one USB C IN port. I wish the usb C port would charge devices, but it does not. You can plug in 2 devices, and it charges them quickly. I was able to charge my phone 3 times from the battery pack before it lost juice, so PLENTY of power available, and it is very lightweight and portable. It has one button, on/off and has built in indicator lights to show state of charge of the battery pack.
Overall, I like this battery. Its small, easy to carry and lightweight. It feels like another phone to carry around, so not bad at all. I do wish that it would provide wireless charging, as that would be nice to just lay a phone on top of it, rather than plug it in. That, combined with not being able to charge using the USB C port, drops it one star.
Otherwise, great product.

works very well, easy set up

Do you sleep warm? or even cold? this is for you!
I sleep hot, and I've used this for around a week, and let me tell you, it is noticeably different!
Whats in the box: Pad, cooler unit, set up instructions, water drain tool.
Setup: Overall very easy, but a little confusing at times, and I'll get into that. First, you strap the pad onto the bed. Here is where I got a little confused, the pad is marked "cool side" and "comfy side". At first, I thought this was reversible, so I started with cool side up. Upon further review and searching, that side goes down and comfy side stays up. This makes sense, as its noticeably more comfortable, yet cooling effect was the same. I'm not sure why they marked it this way, they could have just left it as "this side up" or something, rather than leading to confusion. But, once the pad is strapped on, you connect the hose to the cooling unit. The hose is about 8 feet long, and can start at either the head, or foot, of the bed. This allows for you to hide everything depending on your bed frame setup. The hose just clicks into the cooler unit, and a power cord goes into the wall. Once this is hooked up, you add water to the unit. I used bottled water for this, and it took roughly 30 ounces. So far, very easy. You don't need to use the app, you can simply turn it on or off, and adjust the temp right on the unit itself. Basic, but it works.
App Setup: If you want to get fancy, use the app. The app is easy to setup, simply hold the power button on the unit until it flashes a bluetooth icon, and pair it to your phone. You can then remotely turn on/off the unit, and change temperature, or use the schedule/alarm features.
Schedule/Alarm: This is nifty, but I would most definitely not use this as my only alarm. You can set a sleep schedule, so the bed is pre cooled/warmed to your liking before bed time. Like a warm bed to get into, and then want it to cool down after a bit? done and done. The bed can then change temperature throughout the night to help you sleep and maintain body temperature. Then there is the alarm. You can set it to warm up the bed to naturally wake you by warming up your body. I would never use this as my alarm though. I've been setting a separate, "regular" alarm for about 10 min after the bed alarm, and that is what wakes me, then I'll notice that the bed is slightly warm. You might be able to use this as an alarm if you set it for maybe 30/45 min before you actually have to wake up, but I wouldn't rely on it to get you up at a certain time.
Overall: Bed cooling is amazing. It definitely keeps the bed a cool, comfortable temperature all night long. I don't use the warming much. You can set it as high as 115 degrees, but it doesn't seem to get that hot, but I would never want to sleep that hot anyway. BUT, it keeps me cool, which is what I wanted it for. The unit is a bit noisy. There are 3 settings: silent, normal, and boost. Silent is not silent, but it sounds like a slightly loud fan. I don't mind it, but it does have a bit of a high pitch frequency to it that might bother some people.

Dyson V6 Motorhead Bagless Cordless Stick Vacuum: This powerful stick vacuum's direct-drive cleaner head provides 75% more brush bar power than the Dyson V6 vacuum. The wand easily detaches for handheld cleaning and the docking station charges the vacuum so it's always ready to use.

How do you switch out of Boost mode?

I may have accidentally pressed the Boost button while connecting the right sweeping tool. I was not able to switch the Boost mode off. I had to use the vacuum in Boost mode that ran out of battery in 6 minutes and then I have to recharge for 3 and half hours. Is it possible to switch off the Boost mode?
in order to turn it on or off you have to do it while holding the trigger.

with one had, pull the trigger to turn the vacuum on, with your other hand press the "max" button on the back, the unit will switch back and forth. There is a blue ring lit up around the max button when max mode is on.
