“Floorfillers Party Mix” is a three cd set that contains 21 songs on each of the three cds. “Truly Madly Deeply” by Cascada, “4AM” by Scooter, “Voyage Voyage” by Kate Ryan,”Hungry Eyes” by Eye Opener, and “All My Life” by N-Force are some of the fabulous tracks on this compilation. “Floorfillers Party Mix” is a good gathering type compilation for those who like electronic and/or trance compilations from various artists.
I originally found out about Emeli Sande around late 2011/early 2012 through an online radio link from one of the local radio stations (97.1 washfm). “Our Version Of Events” by Emeli Sande contains a blend of pleasant and heartwarming songs that evoke strong emotions within the soul. “Heaven”, “My Kind Of Love”, and “Mountains” were three of the songs that struck deep emotional cords with me. I also enjoyed “Next To Me” because it reminded me of the unconditional love that my husband has for me. “Our Version Of Events” by Emeli Sande is great for those who like warm love song collections.
I purchased “All The Best” by Tina Turner back in January 2010 because of being impressed and curious about the music behind her story. I thought it was inspiring that she overcame so much to experience a career rebirth and courageously start over in a new place simultaneously. “Private Dancer”, “We Don’t Need Another Hero”, and ‘Proud Mary” are some of the multiple hits available in this collection. However, “Great Spirits” was one of the songs that greatly resonated with me. “All The Best” by Tina Turner is good for those who like pop rock greatest hits collections and/or soft rock.
“Janet Jackson Number Ones” is a greatest hits set that covers 16 different hits on her first cd and 18 songs on her second cd. Many of the songs on both cds are musically delightful, but the following songs are among my favorites from this compilation due to the musical experimentation: “Escapade”,“Black Cat”, “If”, and “Runaway”. “Janet Jackson Number Ones” is a strong greatest hits selection for those who like at least five Janet Jackson songs and/or greatest hits containing elements of musical
“Closer: The Best Of Sarah McLachlan” is an assembly of songs that meaningfully define her career. For instance, “Posession”,”Adia”, “Angel”, and “I Will Remember You” are among some of the well-known tracks featured in this cd. “Building A Mystery” and “Sweet Surrender” are two of my favorite songs on this cd.“Closer: The Best of Sarah McLachlan” is a good collection for those who like soft rock greatest hits cds and/or at least three of Sarah McLachlan’s songs.
As with many others, the feel good song of “One” by Swedish House Mafia was my musical introduction to this group. There is a fun musical mashup of “You Got The Love” by Florence +The Machine and “One” in this collection. The following are among some of the multiple and exciting hits on “Until Now”: “In My Mind” by Ivan Gough&Feenixpawl featuring Georgi Kay, “Calling” by Sebastian Ingrosso &Alessso featuring Ryan Tedder, “Antidote” by Swedish House Mafia vs. Knife Party, “Resurrection and Paradise mashup” by Michael Calfan and Coldplay, “The Wave” by MiIke Snow, mashup of “Ladi Dadi” by Steve Aoki &Wynter Gordon/ “Sing 2 Me” by Tomas Gold/ “Alright” by Red Carpet plus other good songs available in this deluxe collection. “Until Now” by Swedish House Mafia is good for those who like electronica and/or dance collections.
I admit that this may sound laughable to others, but for some reason, I was influenced to check out “To Be Loved”: The Best of Papa Roach after recently hearing remnants of their music in a dream. I have also been familiar with their music since the early 2000’s and count the following musical tracks as songs that I find catchy, that are also featured on the greatest hits collection: “Scars”, “Getting Away With Murder”, “To Be Loved”, and “Forever”. “Papa Roach: To Be Loved” is a good collection for those who like some of the songs by this group and/or listeners of hard rock music.
“Greatest Hits” by LeAnn Rimes showcases some of her strongest musical hits throughout her career. I originally heard of her music back in the 90’s when I was still in high school. My late adoptive mother loved country music and I often heard Rime’s music on the radio frequently. I even briefly went to a high school where “How Do I Live” was played at one of the proms. With that said, her vocal brilliance definitely shines through on this greatest hits cd. Aside from “How Do I Live”, “Can’t Fight The Moonlight”, “Written In The Stars” (with Elton John), “Big Deal”, and “Last Thing On My Mind” (featuring Ronan Keating) are some of the decent tracks on this cd. “I Need You” and “You Light Up My Life” are also some of the songs that I enjoy because they both remind me of my husband (in a positive way). “Greatest Hits” by LeAnn Rimes is great for those who like at least three songs from LeAnn Rimes.
“Angels Voices” is a various artist collection that combines new age rhythms with chillout music influences. “The Seeress Prophecy” (Daydreaming) by Achillea with Helene Horlyck is one of my favorite tracks on “Angels Voices”. The only area where the cd needs improvement is the inclusion of more musical variance. I do agree with those who mention that song variety would strengthen the collection. This would be why “Angels Voices” would be for those who are fine with looking past the caveat of different musical range.
I actually first became familiar with Kesha from the “Tik Tok” song and hearing about her duet with Flo Rida on “Right Round” (which is also featured in the “Hangover” movie). “Tik Tok” and “Right Round” also received heavy radio airplay when I was living in both Norfolk, Virginia and Orlando, Florida. I have heard other songs by her but I would have to also put “Your Love Is My Drug” as one of the songs that I had heard on the radio during the summer of 2010 that grew on me. The vibe of “Warrior” reminds me of the vibe of “Your Love Is My Drug” in an exciting way. Many of the songs combine dance, electronica, and pop in a strong way that fits well with the “Warrior Theme”. “Warrior”, “Crazy Kids”, “Wherever You Are”, “Dirty Love” (featuring Iggy Pop), “Supernatural”, “All That Matters” (The Beautiful Life), and “Past Lives” are only some of the catchy multiple songs on this cd. “Warrior” by Kesha is great if you enjoy musical tracks with pop and electronic elements.
