FINALLY, a real toaster oven that is an oven too

For too many years, and too many times, I've had toaster ovens that were too small, got too hot, cooked food like a toaster, and were just a hot mess. Those days are over. This thing is amazing. It can toast, bake, bake with convection, defrost, etc. and do it really well.
I've made toast, cookies, pizza, and defrosted the dog's food in this, all tonight. Not a single concern. It stays cool compared to most toaster ovens. The back gets hot and there is a vent on the top right side, but the rest of it is like your home oven. This is a first and much appreciated.
You will notice knobs and push buttons in center of those knobs. I love this. But I also get a digital display readout, coupled with the knobs and buttons within, something that is a rarity. You either get knobs and no display, or a display with push buttons.
You'll see a real oven type seal, which helps to keep the heat in the oven, not leaking out in between the gaps in the door. The door glass is really nice oven grade glass, not toaster oven typical quality.
There are many settings, like from between 2 and 6 slices of toast. Temperature, presets, timer, on/off, switch between modes, etc.
When you buy this, consider you are buying a small oven. It isn't a whimpy toaster oven, this is a small scale real oven. It works. And it works well. Take it from someone who gets something too small and is a joke as an oven, or spends more than I should for something that doesn't even have a seal around the glass door. Delonghi has taken care of these problems with this release. The large oven area will give you enough room for most frozen store bought pizzas. It won't handle a full size pizza from your local pizza shop, but that is not what it is for.
Please know that Best Buy has one of the best return policies and you can return this if you find it isn't what you need. The only reason it won't be what you need is that if you don't have a suitable place to put it. The box with everything (rack, tray, etc.) was 31lbs. So this is no little joke, this is a serious oven and works like an oven.
But it also makes a great slice of toast, and quickly too!

Okay, please know that I use a Windows Computer at work and a MacBook at home. I am often consulted as a source of good info when it comes to tech, both at work, and at home. Computers are something that I've found myself being asked about a lot, because there are so many choices and so many things you need to know so you don't get a dud.
To start with, this is a tablet AND a laptop, all in one very thin but sturdy package. Seriously, it doesn't get any better than this.
That said, I believe this is the perfect laptop/tablet for most everyone. If you are a heavy duty gamer, or need a Mac for work stuff, so be it. But for everyone else, there really is no nicer a laptop or tablet that I have tried.

HP computers are amazing anyway, and I've been using them for years; my love affair with HP started many years ago when I stumbled onto one of their netbooks - back when netbooks came to market. Everything since then has been great, it is just that this laptop has literally everything most everyone will ever want in a laptop.
Starting with the box, you'll be impressed. Then, when you see the computer and power supply, you'll be equally impressed. HP has stepped up their game so much. Then, once you power up the computer, you'll notice the very bright keyboard backlight. You'll see the large trackpad, something that you simply will realize is the down side of most windows laptops I've used. This one works flawlessly. Light touch, or press to mechanically click, it just works. Dry skin in winter, it just works.
You'll see no shortage of lights for what I feel are necessary items. The power button has a bright LED light on it. The mute speaker button (F6) also has the same. When you have it plugged in for charging, another light. HDD activity light, yep, that too. I cannot stress how important little lights are for things, like muting speakers.
Okay, for sound, you've got Bang & Olufsen. If you don't know what that is, you'll be surprised at the quality of the sound. If you do know, you won't be disappointed as they did a knock out job on sound.
HP has done their due diligence by adding some very nice features. Cool Sense monitors temperature and adjusts the fan accordingly. They have a stop assistant to stop the hard drive if it feels as if it is falling. They have a very cool HP Support Assistant program that allows you to check on updates for firmware and other things, do performance tests, and ask support questions. HP has delivered in ways I never thought possible.
This is the first Windows laptop that has had everything I have ever wanted, in one package. There have been no disappointments so far, and I don't expect any. The 15" screen blows me away everytime I see it - this is on par with the quality of MacBook. The keyboard, the backlight, the screen, the battery life, the numerous things like a decent trackpad lend themselves to something that is much more high end.
The hinges, I almost forgot, are top tier. They aren't going to break in a week like other convertible laptops that I've used in the past.
Remember, Best Buy has a great return policy. If you are not happy, simply return it. But for most people, absent of those who need a super high end machine, this will work well for you. Processing power is great, the 8GB of RAM is more than enough. The 1TB hard drive is fast enough to get you through, not quite as fast as an SSD, but I like having big hard drive space available.

JBL is no slacker when it comes to speakers, and this is by far their best I've ever heard. The packaging is great, it feels like a much more expensive speaker. And the speaker itself is so nice, you get a feel that this is something very "top shelf", very high end.
Turn on the speaker, and you'll likely be as amazed as I was/am. I was floored when I heard the amazing sound coming out of this speaker. It feels solid and decent, it sounds even better. Great bass, great treble, both of which I use on high. And this gives you a sense of surround sound, which is really amazing given the price point of this device.
The thing I like about this is that it is a high end speaker first, but the level of Google Assistant quality was something I could never have imagined. The speaker has a WIFI indicator, so you know if you are connected or not. Plus, there is a dedicated Google Assistant button you can press to get Google to come on. I was able to call it from across the room without any hesitation - and consistently. I was surprised that this system had Chromecast built in - that was just a bonus on top of an already great speaker system.
Of the Google Assistant products that I have tried, they are a good thought, but they don't deliver on performance. This does both very well.
This would be good for anyone who wants the sound quality of an amazing speaker from JBL, but also wants the convience of Google Assistant. This is a good tabletop speaker, a good speaker for a desk at the office, or even for a kitchen. I love a good speaker, and this is not a disappointment.

A great watch/activity tracker with some caveats

Upon opening, I found a nicely sized watch, not too big, not too small. But I will say I felt like this watch has a sort of cheap feel to it. I know it isn't, but it didn't impress me as "solid".
The plastic feeling watch band is thin and while it has many size settings, it didn't have one that fit me properly. The keeper slides around a lot, and I find it is often slid out and the excess band is flopping around. I much prefer a magnetic or apple watch sport band closure, vs. this method, because the keepers always break on watch bands like these, if the holes don't rip apart.
As for the setup, you download the app, connect the watch to the charger, and then you can do any firmware updates. I went through several updates from when taken out of the box for the first time, and now. These firmware updates didn't change the features, it seems as though they were to fix any reported problems.
Okay, that out of the way, there are plenty of great things about this, that for fitness buffs, will come in very handy. The 24 hour rated battery life with GPS on is likely the longest in the industry. I found that the GPS works GREAT! It connects quickly and does that prior to your workout, so that you know it can log where you are, and start to record your travels/progress. Being able to go into the app and see where you were, and the stats with it, is a very powerful feature.
The heart rate monitor is accurate as far as I'm concerned because it seemed to mimic closely the Apple Watch and Fitbit Charge 2 ratings for heart rate. You can leave this on all the time as you would with a few other fitness trackers, however this also will show you the heart rate each time you twist your wrist to check the time. I like this feature more than just about all else. Why? I watch my heart rate and want to be able to see what it is without having to press a button, press an icon and wait for a reading, etc. So, I'm sold on just this feature alone.
The backlight can be told to come on in different ways, I chose to leave it as default which is to come on when I twist my wrist to check the time. This works very well.
The display is black and white, no colors. I understand that this is important due to issues with battery life. In a way, I've become spoiled with color displays and prefer them, however, I'd rather have my watch last longer between charges, which this does. You can change from white background to black background, depening upon your liking.
The charger cable is the typical USB type, you'll need your own charger. But it connects firmly to the watch unlike other ones that flip around and fall off. I hate finding after hours of waiting, that the unit wasn't charging because the connector fell off - this won't give you that problem.
Stats on this are beyond insanely cool and amazing how many choices there are. If you are into tracking workouts, you need this watch. I'm very impressed with this, and you will be too. It is the strongest point of this watch, other than the heart rate tracker.
I wish I got a warm and fuzzy feeling about the "feel" of this watch, in that I wish it felt more substantial. However, many will want the lighter weight so as not to feel that their wrists are carrying more weight than necessary. But I must say I'm impressed with the amount of thought that went into the design and execution of this because in a world full of activity tracker watches, Epson did a great job with this release.
Best Buy has a very generous return policy, so if you are unhappy with it, you can simply return it and not lose any sleep over it.

I've been using Acrobat Pro at work for years now (Windows version), and this edition was the first I've used at home, and that is on a MAC.....is it worth it? Absolutely!
The program does so much that you didn't know you could do with PDF's. It might be to edit a PDF so you can form fill it, it might be to convert a WORD doc into a PDF, it might even be to take a PDF someone else did and be able to edit it.....you might use it to bundle up multiple docs of different programs and make it into a single PDF. I've done all of these, and have done so for quite some time now.
This edition brings with it all the existing features, and some new ones too. Optical Character Recognition (OCR) allows you to scan in docs and then edit the text. You can create forms, you can add notes, send for review, etc.
There really is no other option for business these days, for sure. It works great with Microsoft Office, and most workplaces seem to have both. But more importantly, while there are cheaper options out there, there is no better option. And nowadays this has become more common at home, and we've been using it at home way more than we expected. Kids in college, job applications, combining multiple documents across multiple platforms into a single PDF, the list goes on and on.......you can use this for home and work.
I'll be continuing on with this subscription well after the first year expires, it is a great way to have the most current copy and can assist with both home and work at the same time.

More than I ever expected in a blender

When this package arrived, it weighed in at 13lbs from UPS. I didn't realize a blender could weigh this much, and wasn't quite sure until I unboxed this and it became apparent this is no cheapy cheap blender.
As the price would suggest, this is not a throw away item.....it has an 8 year warranty, is made in the US, and is not something that thrashes around while you fight to hold it into place as it blends up whatever you put in there. So, from this perspective, it is worth much more than any other blender I've used over the years.
The motor is strong, and there is no doubt in my mind that the motor will last, probably forever. It blends/churns/etc. with such ease that you realize that there isn't anything you can reasonably put in here that the motor could not handle.
If I had any negatives to mention, I'd say price is high for a blender, or so it seems. However, I had the same concerns about my first expensive vacuum....it works so much better, and will probably last longer than anything else, but it does come with a price that some will balk about even though buying several inferior ones will cost the same or more, plus the aggravation of having to keep buying new ones. I can personally attest to this as I blend up food for my dog and went through 5 or 6 cheaper models that did nothing but frustrate from unblended food, to slipped gears, to even the plastic parts breaking - all of which meant I needed to wait for weeks to get it fixed, or just buy a new one......I could not wait, so I would buy new ones.
At some point in your life, you realize that spending more now, once, is better than spending less over and over, while not being able to enjoy the benefits of the more expensive item during the journey.

A very cool device, but two apps are needed to run

Okay, I really like the idea of a small GPS device that can be interfaced with your phone, and can do much much more.
The setup and apps needs help for people who are not in the mood for a more complex arrangement. You will need the Garmin Speak app, and the Alexa app, you'll still need to connect it to a computer so it can download any updates - if not, you'll continue to see a nag screen about connecting to a computer each time it powers up. My feeling is that if Garmin needs Alexa to run, there should be a single app that is developed so only a single app is being dealt with - and also, the app should not have to be open to make this device be able to be used. Too many times we close our apps on our phones before bed, but don't want to have to leave one of them open, let alone two of them, for a product to work as we rush off to work or elsewhere.
Now, that all said, this has so much to offer, that the 2 app and leaving apps open thing may be worth it. You can use Alexa from Amazon as you would at home - it is linked to your Amazon account. You also link this to Pandora for example, so you can play music through that or your Amazon music app. Directions and traffic are courtesy of Garmin. This has a real GPS device inside of it, so it knows where you are based on the device, not your phone. Your phone is a conduit to the Garmin and Alexa worlds, using bluetooth to connect to the device and your phone's data plan will carry the data back and forth.
You will get turn by turn directions, traffic delays, and all done through words vs. having to look at your phone's screen - a safety thing for sure. But also less complicated. You can ask Alexa to tell jokes, provide trivia, order something you forgot to order, play music, and the million other things Alexa can do for you -or you can ask her to get you directions, tell you the weather, and whatever else.
It comes with a power cord to plug into a cigarette lighter plug, and has a jack to plug into the aux outlet in your car if you don't have bluetooth audio on the radio that is in your car. It has a window glass sticker that holds the device on via a heavy duty magnet. You can attach to the glass and then take it down via a magnet when it is time to bring inside or put in the glove box.
Is this a worthy device for most? Yes! If you don't have the time or patience to run two apps, keep two apps open to allow this to work, etc. then you should consider other options to prevent yourself from being frustrated. It has countless benefits, yes. And it can provide hands free many things you would need to open by pressing apps and keys on your phone, a serious safety risk. This presents you with a safety device that will allow you to go through your travels more safely than tapping buttons on your phone or staring at your phone. Its voice recognition is very good, and responds to these words quite well.

These totally wireless earbuds are much more advanced than the price tag suggests. And the sound quality is on par with much more expensive earbuds. Not to mention fully wireless.
The packaging is nice, I was impressed with the amount of packaging and quality of the packaging material. The package allows you to see wha the earbuds look like, so you aren't buying them blindly. This is nice. And box is nicely laid out, with the proper amount of info needed to get started, and the necessary parts.
Once you get them out, you pair ONLY one of them, the primary ear you want to use, then the other one pairs itself automatically and quickly each time you engage the one that is learned into your phone through bluetooth. Very slick. Be sure to charge BOTH of them, or at least listen to what each one is saying, if you are having any trouble - I had one that was charged fully and the other was empty, and I didn't know it, but that was my trouble getting started.
To charge these little things, you put them in the provided hard shelled case, and the battery in that case will charge them. They sit on the charging contacts and yes, it is magnetic, so no trouble lining them up. A really cool feature? A charging cable is INCLUDED (no charger though) AND is wrapped around the outside of the case. So you just remove this cable and one end is for plugging into a charger, or your computer, and the other into the hard shelled case. This charges the battery in the case, which in turn charges your earbuds. The earbuds show an indication of being charged, and the case has little lights that let you know how much battery is left in the case. You can press it and see that status, but when those lights go out, the case is still charging.
Once charged, and you put them in your ears, the magic starts. Oh, by the way, there are multiple versions of earbud covers, so if you have tiny ear holes, or big ones, or anything in between, Jlab has your covered! The last set of earphones I have from Jlab Audio has the same....nice to think of everyone, not a once size fits all design.
So, you can do programming on auto on/off and more things. But out of the box they work as you would expect. Charge and they are "off"....taken off charge, they pair back on. There are different taps for different things, for different ears too. With a short learning curve, this works as good as you would hope....plus you can even calibrate the tap area just in case you find you need to do this.
The amount of time the charge lasts is amazing - it is rated at 6 hours for streaming and I have found they go even longer. They also have a long sleep time, so if you don't use them often, they should retain their charge.
Anyway, I digress. They fit great around your ear and plug into your ear canal - they aren't simply half straws hanging out of your ears ready to fall out in a moments notice.....you know you've had that happen with the regular headphones, we all have. These are made to stay put and they do....they even tell you how to put them in for success, hang, twist a certain way to "lock them in" and that method works great! They feel decent in my ears and the sound quality is really good for earbuds at this price point....but the best part? They work great! And the charging case, cable engineering onto the outside of the box, the automatic pairing between earbuds, etc. is all really decent and frankly a little amazing.
Sound quality is great, even before using the jlab app for burning them in....I can only say that I love music and can be critical about sound quality - if I like the sound quality, you know they must sound decent.
Would I recommend them to my friends/family - YES! Great job Jlab Audio, another success story from you guys!

It has been a number of years since I used Photoshop, mostly in part because it was so expensive years ago and was limited in use because digital photos were still new and not widely used.
Now that the price of the program has come down, and that I have so many digital photos, it was something worth trying. I was totally blown away with everything this program has to offer. It is overwhelming at first, trying to figure everything out, but the tutorials help out a lot.
Once you realize your photo program that comes with your computer is lacking in features, as I've been frustrated with for quite some time now, you'll wish you had gotten this program sooner. Besides retouching photos, which is worth it just for what it can do in this regard, you'll appreciate being able to do something as cool as teeth whitening, or even fixing a photo that someone had their eyes closed - a bit creepy or so it sounded, until I found some pics that were too rare to delete, but this fixed them and made for a great picture.
If you care about your pictures, you should consider unleashing the power of this amazing program to make the most of them. I am still learning, but so far I'm very impressed!

A great gaming PC at a great price and no building

This model of the HP Omen is an all-around great gaming PC for a very agreeable price point. It is loaded with high-tier AMD hardware and a SSD/HDD combo, there is both plenty of power for the latest games as well as plenty of storage space. Coming off of a gaming PC with 2x the RAM, and Intel based, I can say this is still faster and without any lag.
The unit itself is creatively designed, with plenty of ports for various USB devices, headphones, SD cards, DVDs, etc. The lighting is so cool, I had to share a picture of this with you.
Unlike many store bought PCs, the Windows 10 installation has minimal bloatware installed, and boots quickly right from the box. The SSD made quick work of the updates and the system was fully upgraded and ready to go within 30 minutes of plugging it in.

There is a great control center, which shows you a plethora of status information - from temperature, your percentage of memory used, bandwidth used, and the list goes on. Very nice.
As I think it through, there isn't anything lacking on this machine. You won't be disappointed with this, and to be completely honest, I've found that the HP gaming PC's are nothing short of amazing. I've tried others, but nothing seems to equal the packages that HP puts together.

I got this camera for keeping an eye on my parents, they are older and at risk for falling and other issues, this camera has already paid for itself ten times over! Not only does it give you a sense of security, it also gives my parents a peace of mind known that they are not alone and are being watched, unfortunately my father has fallen twice in the time I bought this camera, it allowed me to see him on the floor and I was able to race home to help him up, if it wasn't for the camera who knows how long he would have been laying there. The picture is not perfect but more than good enough, I actually leave it in Night Vision mode and the picture is great, also the microphone is impressively good. You are able to rotate the camera via your smart phone or computer, it's a little slow but over all I have no complaints. Well worth the money, I went out and bought 2 more for the rest of the house, the smart phone app is very easy to use, set up was a little bit of a pain, I'd say 1 hour but again, not bad. Honestly the best thing I have bought in years and I buy a lot.

Is this a self-propelled vacuum? Is there a Bissell that is?
Not self propelled but is easy to maneuver because it has such a strong beater bar that kind of pulls it along. Bissell does not make a self propelled model that I am aware of.

This has a single cylindrical filter that is not washable. You can however, vacuum the exterior of the filter, to increase longevity of the filter.

Can you disable audio recording for these?
You can turn that feature off, but can also turn on the privacy shield to turn off video and audio by using an actual physical filter. Or you can simply turn off the mic function and nothing will be recorded. You can keep the speaker function, in case you want to say something, but turn off the mic function so your conversations won't be overheard.

How do I look up past recordings on the camera
In the app, you can go to the recorded library of images. If you don't have any, I'd ask if you set up any of the rules to get this to record. If not, you have to set up the things ou want to do and when, to get it to record. This is somewhat easier said than done, but it is better than it used to be. Contact tech support for help if needed.

On the Arlo Essential, can the IR be turned off? I’d like to position it behind glass.
Yes, you simply turn off the "night vision" option in video settings. See the pic below that shows the option and where it is.

How do I connect my indoor camera into my camera base I already have
In the app, you simply do "add camera" and go through the instructions. Easy peasy. Takes about 30 seconds to add.

Can this vacuum be used on concrete floors?
I'm sure it can be, it can be used on any hard or carpeted surface. It has a unique roller bar that is neither too hard or too soft, and should work just fine.

Would the mop attachment work on the previous CordZero model?
I'm confident they are interchangeable. As long as the connector looks the same, it'll work with it.

Can i use old a9 by attached A9 wet mop unit
I'm sure you can, as long as it is the same connection. The mop unit just swirls the cloth pads around and drips water out so it can be a kind of wet dust mop. It uses the power from the wand to do it. But it does not vacuum up anything, when in this mode.
