Big sound and cool DJ features

These are party ready speakers! Huge sound that doesn't distort and I put these up loud. The lighting features are fun and move to the music letting you create a club scene in your living room. Seriously - add a smoke machine and you just setup a club. You can turn the lights off or change their colors with the app.
Tried all kinds of different music through them and it doesn't disappoint. Good bass (enhanced with XB - "extra bass" mode), highs, lows, and mid all sound good. Put on a live song and it sounded like they were playing in my living room.
Haven't played it for more than a few hours, but still going strong and claims a 24 battery life, so could see this being a great must have for a weekend at the beach, camping, etc. without needing a charge.
The Fiestable app is pretty cool - it gives you a ton of DJ-esk features like drums, horns, voice, and other effects that alter the song while playing (like soloing out the bass track, vocal track, etc.) - Not sure how it does it, but it was fun to play with.
I only have one, but I could see how the linking feature would be cool setup 2 to 4 of these together and then just drop them in the corners of your room and party on. Up to 10 can be linked so you could drop these thoughout the whole house.
The XB40 is has some weight to it, but that's easily justified with it's huge loud sound and 24 battery capabilities. Definitely recommend.

Great for sleeping!

This works great for sleeping at home or while traveling. This is about half the size of our older fan style white noise machine and has a lot more settings giving you better control over volume and the type of white noise that works best. Perfect to help drown out background noise of elevators and people in other hotel rooms when traveling.

Charging AND Listening iPhone 7 - Ear pods & Bose

Works great. The form factor is a bit bulky, but gets the job done.
Now I can charge and listen at the same time. Tested listening to music via apple ear pods, making phone calls (clutch for long conference calls where you need to be able to stay charged), and also worked perfectly charging and listening to music with the lightning adapter to my Bose QC 15 headset through 3.5mm audio.

Amazing blender - so much better

I guess it has been awhile since we bought a new blender. Holy smokes this thing is impressive compared to our old Oster or even the Magic Bullet.
Unit is sturdy, and the materials seem heavy duty. So far we have only used it to make protein shake with peanut butter and banana smoothies and some dipping sauces, but it works amazingly well.
The auto iQ function is what makes it so impressive as it automatically stops to let the ingredients settle with gravity and then pulses again every few seconds depending on which setting you use (smoothie and mix for example).
Mixes everything we've put in there perfectly and the pour spout to add oil in the mixing bowl worked great while it was running.
The suction cups on the bottom really grab onto granite. I was worried that we'd pull them off accidentally when moving it, but they seem to be working great so far (and they really hold this thing in place when it gets up to warp mixing speed.)
Overall very impressed. No more manually shaking the magic bullet to get everything settle and chop up. The auto iQ does it for you. Set it and come back in 60 seconds to a perfect smoothie.

So much faster throughout the house!

Before I installed the Orbi I ran 5 separate speed tests on my laptop in various parts of our home. (3 story house - 2700 sq. ft).
I ran tests from each floor of our house through our existing router (TP Link WR1043ND - a 300Mbps Wireless N Gigabit Router). Speeds averaged 43.76Mbps down and 4.35Mbps upload.
After I installed the Orbi, I re-ran the same speed tests in the same locations and speeds now average 62.83Mbps down and 5.80Mbps upload. Significantly faster!
The 2 spots in the house - top floor and basement both went from 28.56Mbps and 21.72 to 64.33 and 63.46 - so much better coverage. The Orbi's 2 unit setup of a base unit + satellite unit now provides equal coverage throughout the entire home.
Setup was fairly easy, colored rings light up on the tops of the Orbi units let you visually know whether they are connected. (These go out after 10 seconds so no worries about them staying lit up at night.)
I did have to reboot our cable modem twice to get the Orbi to see the internet, but that was about it. Setup a password - rename the Orbi default network name (SSID) to what you had before and our 11 wifi devices (AppleTv's, laptops, phones, and ipads) all reconnected automatically.
The Orbi units have a nice modern look and feel to them, although the living room satellite unit we just tucked behind an 8x10 picture frame and you don't even know it's there.
Psyched about the great speed improvements!!

Unusable viewing angle

This case is perfect except for 1 fatal design flaw that renders it useless. For some reason, some Apple engineers decided to go from 4 folds down to 3 and now this case is unusable in the landscape viewing mode. It basically holds the ipad at about 85 degrees (almost straight up), so you can't watch anything on it unless you sit like 4 feet back. Crazy unusable design. Not sure how this ever got past Q/A.
Here's a pic of the smart case vs. smart cover. You can easily see how much more upright the case is. It is also very unstable at this crazy upright angle. Returned it after 1 day.

32GB so much better than the 16GB

Overall a great iPad. Half the weight and twice as fast compared to my old iPad 1st generation.
Lighting connector and chargers appear to be just a money making scheme to force you to buy all new ones (Apples are $30+ a pop). They don't seem to be any faster for syncing and you have to get all new ones (I have like 5 or 6 old ones in various rooms etc.) Plus still have to keep the 30 pin versions around for my iPods etc. New one will charge slowly with a 10watt charger, but note that it needs a 12watt charger for regular speed charging (it comes with 1 - 12watt charger).
Use one of your old 10watt chargers for charging overnight.
Had trouble syncing my itunes when I first got it - spent 3 days working with Apple Care to resolve. It ended up being a corrupt epub book file that synced fine to the old iPad, but not to this one. Took many hours to trouble shoot. Apple care was nice enough, but they didn't know any more than I about how to troubleshoot it or fix it.
Screen is amazing compared to iPad 1. Lots of apps wouldn't load or run anymore on 1st iPad because iPad 1 wouldn't load iOS 6 or 7.
Camera picture quality is poor at best, no flash and doesn't handle any normal to low light conditions very well at all. Probably will never bother with the camera since your phones camera is likely twice as good.
Note if you are on the fence definitely get at least the 32GB vs. 16GB. I watch a lot of movies on the iPad from my personal collection (DVD's etc.) and they take up a lot of space (500GB - 2GB depending on lenght and quality.) So if you travel with it, you can only bring a couple movies with you (apps music, email etc. all takes up a couple GB as well). Vs. the 32GB you can have all your other stuff and have 10-20 movies on hand as well, great for long flights, vacation etc when you won't be back in front of your pc for a week or so.

Best fitting case / issue with power button crack

Overall a great case as long as it holds up! 1st one got a crack at the power button within 2 weeks. The plastic there is just too small/not sturdy enough and I barely used it. You almost never even use the power button because it automatically comes on and off when you open and close the case. Lots of others had this same problem. On my 2nd one - 2 weeks in (so far so good, but being really gentle with it just in case.)
Otherwise a great case. Good viewing angle, great form factor, super light so it doesn't bulk up your iPad air. Keyboard takes some getting used to and keys are in weird places, but much better for typing than the on screen keyboard. Nice slim package, lets you type better, easy access to the camera, power, and charging port. Good viewing angle. Note the only slimmer full case was the OEM Appple iPad full case which I tried 1st, but it was worthless. The only viewing angles on that one were basically flat and 90 degrees so not usuable at all. Go with this one instead and careful with the area of plastic by the power button.

A few days after I wrote this review, the 2nd case broke in the exact same spot at the power button. Again, never even used the power button as it isn't needed. Serious design flaw. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

They provide a t-adapter in the box to connect to existing toilet cold water supply. It fills a tank on the unit itself and heats up the tank for warm water cleaning.

No it is not GFCI, but most places require outdoor outlets to be on a GFCI in that circuit so should be covered by your GFCI outlets. No, it turns both plugs on/off simultaneously. Not sure on it's temperature rating. Didn't see any details on that in the manual.- only that it is IP44 rated.

If you have an OTA antenna already you will be all set. Just unscrew the OTA coax cable from your TV and connect it to the OTA AirTV adapter (included with this item.) Then it will show the locals right in the AirTV/SlingTV same guide.

Apartment use. Currently have a TimeWarner modem router and an extender in living room. parts of living room are slow and gaps. will these replace the modem router and will range be better?
I would say yes. Our speeds tripled in the areas of our home that were slower (3rd floor and basement) from 20-27mbps to 63mbps.

I have a house built in 1930 and it is 1000 sq. ft. up and 1000 sq. ft. basement. I have 2 wifi extenders because of the solid brick and plaster walls to pick up better signal in dead areas. I currently have a Netgear 55 router. Would this work better?
