Robust video editor at a reasonable price

This really is a full featured video editing tool and I like that it has both Quick, Guided, and Expert modes.
Quick lets you well "quickly" take a video from your phone or other source, add titles, narration, trim, add an audio track, etc and then render it. Nice and easy for a quick touched up video for uploading and sharing with friends and family, etc.
Guided does a nice job walking you through more complex type editing with effects, transitions, cool things like having a video in your title to give it a much more professional look and feel all while taking you through it step by step and there are lots of options, transitions, effects, and templates to really customize your look and feel.
Expert mode is great for when you want total control over multiple audio tracks, multiple video tracks etc. for when you are ready for or if you already are comfortable with advanced editing tools - this is the total control you are looking for.
Export and share lets you easily render and upload to YouTube, Facebook, or Vimeo, build a DVD with menus, or easily format for a specific device like a PC, TV, phone, etc.
Overall really impressed with all the features it has for this low of a price. I’d recommend for both beginner or advanced video editors to make some great professional looking content.

This thermostat is very easy to use and matches any decor with its color theme options.
It automatically switches from cool to heat which is great during the shoulder months where you have a 75 degree day and then a 45 degree night - no more manually switching from "Cool" to "Heat". Just set the ideal temp and it takes care of the rest.
The phone app is super easy to use and lets you control it when away from home, but I really dig the Google Home integration. Now I can just say "Hey Google - set Living Room to 73 degrees" and it does it automatically!
Had a question during installation, but called their 800# and their support was great, helped me through my question in a few minutes and everything up and running. Very pleased with this modern thermostat!

Impressive Robot Vacuum!

Very impressed with this robot vacuum! It does great traversing all kinds of furniture and obstacles and cleans spots we probably don’t normally get because it goes under all the chairs.
We have a cat and a dog and it does a great job getting up their hair. I couldn't believe how much it got up in just one pass (see the picture).
We use it on our main floor which is our living room, dining room, and kitchen. It's all hardwoods and a 10x12 area rug in the living room. It has no problems at all cleaning both without us lifting a finger.
Scheduling to run on certain times and days of the week with the included remote was quick and easy. And when it's done it puts itself back to bed in its charger.

Fun little robot - easy coding for kids!

This is a fun little robot. Great for kids (and a nice workout for cats.) Fun to steer around the house. App is intuitive and easy to use.
What makes it more than just a little remote controlled toy is the ability to code it with instructions with the Sphero Edu app. Great way for kids to learn how to code by giving it a set of instructions and see it run the program and then make changes.
Only con is not sure how well it will hold up if it takes a big dive off a table or down a set of stairs.
Definitely going to get a few of these for nieces and nephews for the holidays.

Great wireless headphones with superior sound

These are what you expect from a brand like Bose. They sound terrific and are the best ear buds I've ever used. They fit securely and comfortably and I love that they are truly wireless (no more cable hitting or sticking to your neck during a workout).
I've gone on 2 runs with these so far and they stayed secure, were easy to use to change volume, change tracks and with the buttons on top instead of the side you don't push them into your ears to make changes which makes them more comfortable than others I've tried. They drop right in a nice small case and it charges them automatically. They also come on automatically and pair up with your phone as soon as you remove them from the case.
Setup was very easy. You download a small bose app that walks you through setup and gives you a visual tutorial on how to use all the functions.
I tried all kinds of different music of chill, rock, classical, rap, solo vocals, and music with lots of bass - all sounded great.
They come with a high end price, but you definitely get a high end pair of great sounding, true wireless, sport headphones and with the superior sound of Bose.

Download the app and just look at it through your phone in a VR/AR viewer (we have the Merge VR headset) and it's instantly recognized in your hand and on screen.
We've only started playing games on it, but there seems to be a fair amount of content already to play with. This takes AR to the next level!
Fun to play with for kids or adults and you can still see the room around you in the goggles (uses your phone's camera).

Great VR Headset for use with your phone!

This VR headset is comfortable and lightweight. It worked well with an iPhone 6 and 7 (Both had slim covers on and they still fit well without having to remove the phone covers as the slot/holder is flexible foam).
The adjustable lenses worked great when switching between users and is very quick and easy to adjust.
We've only started playing games on it, but there seems to be a fair amount of content to play with. We also got the merge cube and that lets you interact with the apps and games with Augmented Reality by holding/seeing the cube in AR/VR but still seeing the room around you utilizing the phones camera. The AR foam cover pops in and out easily.
It has buttons on top to interact with games with more than just your eyes or tilting your head which is cool. Seems like the foam would be easy to clean and overall the headset is fairly lightweight and comfortable to wear.
Worked well for playing 360 content video on YouTube. On those videos a set of goggles comes up on the youtube video and you tap that to enter 3D/VR mode and pop your phone it to enjoy 360/VR videos.
Note that this isn’t a full a VR system, but rather a VR headset and holder and for your phone (requires a compatible phone). Not the same full immersion experience as full blown VR system like the HTC Vive, but wasn't expecting it to be.
Recommend it as a comfortable headset and a great entry into the VR market and the Merge cube makes playing with AR fun as well.
Inexpensive and fun way for kids and adults to try out VR.

Wireless Circle 2 not useable for outdoor security

This camera works very well indoors, but not good at all in outdoor environments like your front door, backyard, or driveway, etc.
The Pros:
Very easy to setup - charge it the battery, download the LogiCircle app, connect the camera to the battery base, and it sees the camera and walks you through the set up in just a minute or 2.

Video stream (when it's working) is reasonably clear in daylight conditions.
The 2-way voice communication works fine when you can get the live stream loaded (more on that in Cons).
It has a number of attachments to connect it to a window, a plug, etc. as available accessories.
Waterproof so can be used outdoors (just not wirelessly – see Cons below).
If you pay for the monthly subscriptions you can see it's prior recordings of movement, people coming and going (when that's working), etc.
Support is helpful (sent me a replacement camera after 2 weeks of terrible results, but unfortunately still had almost all the same issues)
The Cons: (unfortunately there are a lot of these)
1) It takes 30-40 seconds to pull up live view. So, if someone rings your doorbell, you must wait 30-40 seconds before you can even see who it is (meaning you can likely walk to the door just as quick.) 40 seconds is a long time to stand there waiting (go ahead and hit your doorbell and wait 40 seconds you'd probably ring again or walk away).
1) It takes 30-40 seconds to pull up live view. So, if someone rings your doorbell, you must wait 30-40 seconds before you can even see who it is (meaning you can likely walk to the door just as quick.) 40 seconds is a long time to stand there waiting (go ahead and hit your doorbell and wait 40 seconds you'd probably ring again or walk away).
2) You can only talk via the 2-way audio with live view loaded, so not very useful unless you have super patient delivery people. (see #1)
3) The battery life is AWFUL. Only lasts 2-3 days tops. I tried to get 2 different cameras working over the last 5 weeks and the battery would never last for more than 3 days. Tried changing sensitivity settings to reduce false motion recordings, but never helped. Also, I mounted this above my front door, so every 2-3 days I have to get a 6' ladder out of the garage, go to the front door, take off the camera, charge it (takes forever - see next item), and then go back out and put it back up, reset the position to where it was via live view (so it doesn't record cars going by on the street - only my door and driveway). Getting a ladder out every 3 days to charge this makes it worthless and infuriating.
4) It takes 6 hours to charge the battery (which was why I was so shocked that it only lasts 3 days.) That means if you don't have a backup battery, you have no camera on for 6 hours and have to get up there twice every time you need to charge it.
5) Motion recording - pretty terrible. It takes too long for the camera to "wake up" from low power wireless battery mode to start recording. Half the time it missed the motion (car pulling in or out of the garage, we walk our dog 3 times a day, so 6 times in/out - on average it would catch us half the time.) - This also makes this camera pretty much worthless as a security camera if it misses people coming in or out half the time. Sensitivity wise if you set it too sensitive it records something every 1-2 mins, default setting - very hit or miss and still records when tree shadows move on the driveway, set it to light sensitivity and you really miss everyone that comes and goes.
6) Night recording - AWFUL. I had this installed for 3 weeks and it never once actually recorded me leaving or returning with my dog on our night time walks. From a security perspective - night time is probably the most important time you actually need/want this thing to work. It did actually record some nice dimly lit to black colored night vision shots of my empty doorway (takes too long to wake up and missed us every time and that's only the 10-20% of the time it would actually record night events at all.)
7) Camera is "Offline" - this is practically a daily event. Sometimes just on its own and sometimes when you try to view live view - after a 1 min - 1:30 mins it would just say "Offline". Sometimes if you wait a few minutes and try again it would then come back up. Other times you have to remove the camera from the battery to wake it back up (get out the ladder!). Other times you have to manually reset the camera and re-set it back up in the app.
8) Subscription service (monthly fee) is essentially required. It only saves 1 day (today) of recordings in the Logitech cloud if you don't subscribe, so without paying for one of the subscriptions this can't be used as a security camera at all. Break-in last night? Sorry - all you can see now is today's activity.
They are continually updating the firmware and app (3 or 4 times already in the 5 weeks I tried to get 2 of these to work), so maybe they will fix the above issues with future releases, but as of this writing it simply cannot be used wirelessly outdoors.

The form factor is excellent on this laptop/tablet 2-in-1.
Boots ridiculously fast for a laptop - basically boots like a tablet (10 seconds to login screen then logs you in by just looking at you if you setup facial login), but with all the power of a full blown laptop.
Very lightweight, super easy to dock and undock from the keyboard - just pull off the magnetic keyboard. Nice large back-lit keyboard with great tactile response - feels like a real keyboard vs a tablet add on.
The picture quality is excellent and the Bang and Olufsen speakers sound great. They are located left and right at the top facing you so right at perfect ear level/angle when the kick stand is out.
Kick stand works great and allows for just about any widescreen angle/tilt you'd like for ideal typing/viewing/movie watching on a desk or even a plane tray table.
Setup was a breeze - took like 10-15 minutes to setup the whole thing including security and Cortana. I've never had a laptop setup this quick before - very impressed!!!
If you'd like a fast, slim & lightweight form factor, nice size keyboard and great display and sound with the power of a Core I7 processor and the full functionality of a laptop - this is a great pc.
Only con/thing to be aware of is there are no HDMI or display ports on this pc (due to slim form factor). It has 2 USB-C next gen ports. If you want to connect more than 2 USB devices; or power plus more than 1 USB device; or connect to a monitor - you will also need to pick up an HP USB-C Dock or port extender.
It also has a stylus that works great for taking notes, handwriting, art etc but I haven't used that feature much yet.

Great speaker for the kayak or SUP! Pros - very rugged, waterproof to 1 meter for 30 mins, great openings for bungy-ing this down to a board, a dry bin for money, CC, or ID - all make this speaker a great option for hitting the water.
Cons - where is the bass? Acoustic, vocals, guitar, piano, horns, etc. all sound great, but bass is lacking on this speaker. Overall gives many songs a tinny sound. So many Bluetooth speaker options out there that have better sound.
Give this a speaker an A for rugged/beach/water abilities and a C for sound.

Overall a great case as long as it holds up! 1st one got a crack at the power button within 2 weeks. The plastic there is just too small/not sturdy enough and I barely used it. You almost never even use the power button because it automatically comes on and off when you open and close the case. Lots of others had this same problem. On my 2nd one - 2 weeks in (so far so good, but being really gentle with it just in case.)
Otherwise a great case. Good viewing angle, great form factor, super light so it doesn't bulk up your iPad air. Keyboard takes some getting used to and keys are in weird places, but much better for typing than the on screen keyboard. Nice slim package, lets you type better, easy access to the camera, power, and charging port. Good viewing angle. Note the only slimmer full case was the OEM Appple iPad full case which I tried 1st, but it was worthless. The only viewing angles on that one were basically flat and 90 degrees so not usuable at all. Go with this one instead and careful with the area of plastic by the power button.

A few days after I wrote this review, the 2nd case broke in the exact same spot at the power button. Again, never even used the power button as it isn't needed. Serious design flaw. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

No it is not GFCI, but most places require outdoor outlets to be on a GFCI in that circuit so should be covered by your GFCI outlets. No, it turns both plugs on/off simultaneously. Not sure on it's temperature rating. Didn't see any details on that in the manual.- only that it is IP44 rated.

I’m confused. How/ where does it get ota channels? Is there an antenna that comes with it? Similar to the digital antenna I use now for local channels? Or does it get the local ota channels and stream to device via the internet?
If you have an OTA antenna already you will be all set. Just unscrew the OTA coax cable from your TV and connect it to the OTA AirTV adapter (included with this item.) Then it will show the locals right in the AirTV/SlingTV same guide.

Apartment use. Currently have a TimeWarner modem router and an extender in living room. parts of living room are slow and gaps. will these replace the modem router and will range be better?
I would say yes. Our speeds tripled in the areas of our home that were slower (3rd floor and basement) from 20-27mbps to 63mbps.

I have a house built in 1930 and it is 1000 sq. ft. up and 1000 sq. ft. basement. I have 2 wifi extenders because of the solid brick and plaster walls to pick up better signal in dead areas. I currently have a Netgear 55 router. Would this work better?
I would say yes based on my results. Before I installed the Orbi I ran 5 separate speed tests on my laptop in various parts of our home. (3 story house - 2700 sq. ft).
I ran tests from each floor on my existing router (TP Link WR1043ND - a 300Mbps Wireless N Gigabit Router). Speeds averaged 43.76Mbps down and 4.35Mbps upload.
After I installed the Orbi, I re-ran the same speed tests in the same locations and speeds now average 62.83Mbps down and 5.80Mbps upload. Significantly faster!
The 2 spots in the house - top floor and basement both went from 28.56Mbps and 21.72 to 64.33 and 63.46 - so much better coverage and the Orbi's base + satellite coverage now provides equal coverage thoughout the entire home.
