I have Time Warner Cable (300 speed) and it works very well with it. With most hardware / software nowadays, the "manual" (if at all) are just a page or two long. But nevertheless, it's well built, and has very strong wireless router built in. Am able to use it upstairs (right below the first floor, with windows opened on both rooms), too. The set up was easy and I am able to get 340 M speed most of the time. This translates to less than one minute to downloading a GIGABYTE file.

This is a little more violent than the rest of the movies from the studio. However it is beautifully drawn, just know before you get into it that younger children may find the demon characters to be quite frightening. (When compared to Spirited Away, that is much milder.) Not to give the plot away, the main character was shot at point-blank, and I remembered that scene for a long, long time. Good story – beautifully hand-drawn – very good dubbing – but this is not a cutesy Pixar movie, and may not be very appropriate for someone younger than 10 or so.

This movie has been around for a few years – and when compared to Spirited Away, or their newer ones, you can tell the drawings were more, if I may say this, primitive. Nevertheless, it has a great story, and it does look beautiful on a Blu-ray copy. I believe it is for younger teenagers, but the whole family can enjoy this movie, as well. The suspension of belief must be in full effect when you watch this movie.

I remembered reading the book many years ago. However I don't remember the ending, and I don't want to give it away. I believe this movie (rather, a TV show), was rather well done, and I enjoyed it. I believe they took the liberty of changing the story somewhat, but I am glad I was able to add this to my Blu-ray collection.

I have the new Samsung 4K UBD-K8500 Blu-ray player connected to 65 inch 4K television. ("Element" is the brand, bought from Costco.) While the television doesn't have HDR take advantage of this movie, this movie is notably clearer than the regular Blu-ray version. I forwarded to the spot where all the youngsters met the trainer for the first time and looking at a character who was wearing a patterned sweater in the middle of the screen, the 4K version is twice is clear as the Blu-ray version. However when I sat on the sofa which is about 10 feet away, the difference is, if I may say this, "slight". I am extremely happy with UBD-K8500, and even with my television, so at this time I am not sure if a 4K Blu-ray is worth the extra expenses. One sure thing is whatever the movies that I have on Blu-ray will not be replaced with the 4K version unless the price is lower. This can happen if the manufacturers and the studios want to capture the market share. They are many Blu-ray movies nowadays that can be bought for $5 to $10 (they may not be new releases of course), but it is possible. I will most likely by the 4K version for those that I do not have in regular Blu-ray version.
About the movie, it is fun to watch!

Will this work for movie rendering. Will this work in an Alienware Area 51 x58 R2 desktop? I am wondering if this is the best for movie rendering.
This drive is really is not made to run very quickly. What I mean is compared to years ago, it is a fast hard drive, but I bought mine to save data only (I backup my DVD and Blu-ray movies to use with a multimedia server at home on this this.) So if you want to use this drive to save the data, it will work fine – but if it is a working drive, for the program to read and write a lot of temporary files to it, it may not be the best.
A suggestion that I do for myself is I use a solid-state drive for drive C and my computer (Intel i7 with 32 gigabytes of memory, Quadro workstation card running Windows 10) runs very quickly.

Playing 4K Discs
The specifications tab states max video output at 1080p. Does this actually output 4k discs as 2160p? This is either an error on the specs tab or super confusing.
This generation of upscale 4K player will make your Blu-ray movies look very good at "near 4K". It is not actually display true 4K – that is the next-generation players which will be coming out in a few months, assuming at a premium price.
I was playing Harry Potter blu ray the other day, and it froze the scene, and I stood about a foot away from the TV (65 inch 4K that I bought from Cosco), and it simply looked amazing. Keep in mind that there are no real 4K Blu-ray movies available now and when they come out, it will not play on this machine. Those "4K Blu-ray" movies that you see are mastered from 4K source.

It does not upscale a blu ray movie to true 4K. It upscaled to "near" 4K.

Will this particular unit play Region Free disc?
If the disk is region free or "all regions", any Blu-ray player will play it.

does the BD-H6500 support 7.1 surround>
Yes it does – it does have the outputs on the back of the player. Although I connected mine via a digtal optical cable (5.1) to a sound bar.
