I have a desktop that I wanted to use only to watch a movie (it has a Blu-ray drive with Cyberlink PowerDVD 16) and I needed a full HD monitor and this was a very good deal. The program deals nicely with motion blur, so I don't have a problem with that with this monitor (or any monitor, I must say.) It is connected to my computer with a DVI connector.
I am rating this monitor according to what I paid for which was under USD100. It is a terrific buy. This is not an OLED or a 4K monitor/television - and it is "merely" an LCD monitor which suits my needs. Easy to put together, and not very heavy. Thank you Best Buy for having this on sale at a very reasonable price.

I needed an HD monitor at the right price, and this was on sale under USD100. It is thin, and has very narrow edge. I think I would've been happy paying the and discounted price, but I had to grab the last one in stock. It is now hooked up to my brothers desktop and he is very pleased with it. The image is very sharp, and it wasn't very difficult to adjust the settings to my satisfaction.

It was under USD10, and I had to buy when it went on sale. I have never seen this movie, but I have heard about it many times. I think it was a terrific buy, and Best Buy generated a lot of business when they do something like this. I realize DVDs and Blu-rays are low margin items – but it brings in a lot of customers (myself included) and I did buy something else along with this. I bought this from Best Buy in Sherman Oaks which is my favorite store.

This movie generated so much polarizing opinions about it. Some people said it is so much like the third movie, and in the way, it is. But it was so much fun to watch. I love the new characters. The acting of the young actors, I must admit, is much better than the prequel movies that focused so much on special effects. This particular purchase was a very good buy because I want a copy to watch it at a later date (I saw it in theater, and later with a rented copy.) I do like the Steelcase – but you have to be quite careful with it because it is easily dented. If most Blu-ray are priced under USD10 like this, they would generate much more business and perhaps put the movie theaters out of business, as well. I realize that it won't take long for them to release this movie in 4K/HDR format and if they price it correctly (under USD20), they will make even more money. USD30-USD40 is a bit too much for a 4K HDR movie.

For only USD39, this is quite inexpensive for what it is. I do not need a large hard drive for drive C to run Windows 10 because I am only running a few programs on this new desktop. It starts up very quickly, and it shuts down quickly, as well. This hard drive you need to know that comes with minimum hardware. No screw, no cable, no holder nor adapter of any kind. It really is a good replacement for a laptop hard drive because all you need to do is just slip it in and out.

CGI galore – unfortunately, I think, I have never read the book so I don't really know the story line. However it has been highly praised, so I thought I looked into it. It already looked great on Blu-ray, but I have a Samsung 4K Blu-ray player, plus an LG 4K HDR 70 inch television and it certainly looks good. If this movie had been made from scratch, I would say the story is not very believable. Why in the world would you let a preteen be in charge of such a thing – it doesn't quite make sense. But Asa Butterfield is a good actor and he was adorably cute in this one, and I'm almost embarrassed to admit that I got it because of that. Another reason was that it was under USD17 which I thought was very reasonable for a 4K Blu-ray movie. I would not have gotten this if it still worth USD29 like the rest of them. Honestly as good as it looks, it doesn't look ** that much ** better than a regular Blu-ray on my set. A movie like this is a good showcase of what a 4K Blu-ray player and a 4K HDR television can do. I have seen the movie a couple of times.

One of the few TV shows that I want to see again and when it became available on Blu-ray at Best Buy at a discounted price, I had to get it. The story is very interesting and certainly is not for youngsters. (There's a lot of violence and a few hanky-panky things going on.) But the production value is excellent and it really looked like they put a lot of money into it. Love all the characters – even the "bad" ones. I think I may have fallen a little for the actor who played Dorian Gray (ha!) There are some twists and turns – but that is what keeping it so interesting.

Normally I do not mind watching the show in its original language, in this case Japanese but the dubbing for this one was done exceptionally well (like many from this distributor), and when it was available on Blu-ray at a discounted price, I had to get it. The story is very good and I love all the characters. The drawings were done very nicely and the plot was interesting enough to keep me going until the end. It is safe enough for younger viewers, but very enjoyable by grown-ups like me.

Love the show. Enough drama to make this sci-fi exciting. There is a couple of plot twists – but I love all the characters. The good ones – the bad ones, everybody. It looks like they put a lot of money into the show, and it shows. The first couple of episodes devoted enough time to go into each character's personality, and background which I thought was very helpful. This group is remarkably good and the acting was swell. Thank you Best Buy for making this affordable which I have added to my Blu-ray collection.

Will this work for movie rendering. Will this work in an Alienware Area 51 x58 R2 desktop? I am wondering if this is the best for movie rendering.
This drive is really is not made to run very quickly. What I mean is compared to years ago, it is a fast hard drive, but I bought mine to save data only (I backup my DVD and Blu-ray movies to use with a multimedia server at home on this this.) So if you want to use this drive to save the data, it will work fine – but if it is a working drive, for the program to read and write a lot of temporary files to it, it may not be the best.
A suggestion that I do for myself is I use a solid-state drive for drive C and my computer (Intel i7 with 32 gigabytes of memory, Quadro workstation card running Windows 10) runs very quickly.

Playing 4K Discs
The specifications tab states max video output at 1080p. Does this actually output 4k discs as 2160p? This is either an error on the specs tab or super confusing.
This generation of upscale 4K player will make your Blu-ray movies look very good at "near 4K". It is not actually display true 4K – that is the next-generation players which will be coming out in a few months, assuming at a premium price.
I was playing Harry Potter blu ray the other day, and it froze the scene, and I stood about a foot away from the TV (65 inch 4K that I bought from Cosco), and it simply looked amazing. Keep in mind that there are no real 4K Blu-ray movies available now and when they come out, it will not play on this machine. Those "4K Blu-ray" movies that you see are mastered from 4K source.

Yes it does – it is connected to the Internet via the ethernet connection, or a Wi-Fi.

It does not upscale a blu ray movie to true 4K. It upscaled to "near" 4K.

If the disk is region free or "all regions", any Blu-ray player will play it.

does the BD-H6500 support 7.1 surround>
Yes it does – it does have the outputs on the back of the player. Although I connected mine via a digtal optical cable (5.1) to a sound bar.
