This laptop has a lot of bang for your buck with a few caveats. First off, the form factor is awesome. It’s bulky but feels stalwart. What you’re basically looking at here is a lower level Alienware computer without the branding. Which is fine by me if you you’re not worried about brand recognition. Because inside is where it counts. The Ryzen 5 that they pack inside is more than enough to handle mid level games and the RTX 3050 works really well with displaying games as they should be. The only performance issues I had were a reduction in frame rates when unplugged. Running on the battery seemed to really stress out the computer during online multiplayer even when put in performance mode. The reduced frame rate left me a little disheartened. Once plugged in though it ran like a dream. There is even a high performance key ( marked with a “G” ) that will turn on the internal fans which significantly helps keep the temp waaay down for increased performance in more high end games. The only problem with those is they are really noisy. Anyone who uses this will definitely want to invest in some nice headphones to alleviate that problem. The internal speakers are good but not great, they lack in low-end and the mids are kinda muddled. I did numerous multitasking experiments to see how much it could handle and even with only 8 gigs of ram (which can be upgraded) it handled it well. Again with the performance button if necessary but that was rarely the case. The battery is where this computer really sees it’s downside however. It gets a meager 1-1 1/2 hours of gaming unplugged which is ok for smaller sessions but anything longer and you’ll want to bring your power cord with you. I guess my take away with this is if you want a portable gaming rig that works amazingly plugged in this one’s for you. It’s portable sure, but benefits greatly from being attached to a power supply.

The Rig 800 Pro HX wireless headset, while good is certainly lacking in some areas. First lets talk about the good stuff. The sound quality is exceptional, and the dolby atmos availability is nice addition, however not unique to the price point. Secondly, the charging base included is a great perk for a dedicated place to rest your headset after a gaming session. The mic has a long reach and the ability to mute by raising the mic is quick and easy. The battery life is long, so worrying about it running out during a longer session isn't a problem.
Now for the things I'm not so keen on. The headset requires a USB dongle to operate as a wireless headset. In this day and age with other products on the market that are out of the box capable of wireless connection, this mode seems archaic. it is possible to house the dongle in the charging dock, that dock must then be connected to the Xbox for it to work. As for the headset itself, I noticed multiple times during gameplay that even sitting right in front of the xbox (less than 2 meters away) the headset would randomly disconnect from the xbox, for anywhere from 15-30 seconds at a time. With this headset taking the moniker of "PRO" anyone who would use these in a competitive situation would agree that that amount of time without communication would spell certain doom. I retested multiple times to make sure it wasn't a one time issue and it happened on multiple occasions. I also checked the battery level to make sure it wasn't a power issue. It was not. Turning to the physical aspect of the headset. The earpieces are adjustable so that they will fit on almost any head size; and the ear pieces are soft and comfortable at first, but with limited airflow, they get very warm, moist, and uncomfortable when playing with them on for more than maybe a couple hours. They are not made for longer gaming sessions in this aspect, regardless of battery life. Overall while they are good, they certainly fall short of being great, settling on mediocre or middle of the road at their price point.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The U7G is a fantastic gaming tv. It has low latency and still delivers bright and vivid picture quality. I ran some screen tests and it offers uniform white screen with virtually no shadowing even at the corners there is practically no bloom from the localized dimming when high contrast items move across the screen. This product is versatile and feature rich. The android aspect with built in google assistant work well to navigate functions without using the remote but the remote is easy to navigate even if used. My only negative to this tv is the sound quality which is tinny and awkward at times. But I typically use a sound bar anyway (which was a snap to set up with this tv!). Highly recommend.

When it comes to charging Anker is a brand I always look to. With products that consistently punch far above their weight class this one is no exception! Design-wise this a nice compact charging base and the ability to use the MagSafe aspect to create not only a place to charge my iPhone but also a place to use it hands free! When it’s tilted downward I can charge my airpod pro earbuds quickly and efficiently at the same time. I got my AirPods almost 50% charged in a matter of less than 10 minutes while at the same time charging my phone, showing that the amount of power isn’t split but instead the charger will automatically boost to accommodate both devices! Probably my only qualm with it is the fact that while it does have a good deal of heft (obviously to act as a counter to the weight of the phone) if you have an iPhone pro max with a case on it (as I do) it barely weighs enough to counter it making it feel as if it’s going to topple over. Thankfully however it doesn’t. But the weight of your phone and case together should be considered before using the charger in that mode. It really is a great multicharger that I would recommend to anyone especially if you use your phone at your desk or nightstand in a hands free dock.

These headphones provide adequate sound reproduction and are comfortable to wear even for long sessions. As expected with all Turtlebeach products. My gripe (and reason for only 3 stars) comes from the fact that these headphones are powered, but not for the reason you’d think. They are still required to be plugged in to use them but in order to use the microphone you need to charge them and have them powered on. The sound works passively but in order to have a “bass boost” (which is minimal at best) you need to charge them and have them powered on as well. It’s kind of confusing to have to have them plugged into the controller and yet still need to charge them simply to use the microphone, when other brands and even other models within the TB wheelhouse do not require this. For what it’s worth it may be a better choice to go with a different model one that may be slightly more expensive and is wireless or one that is slightly less expensive and is wired but does not need to be charged. This model seems to straddle a line that has no business being straddled.

This controller is a nice modification to the original Xbox controller. The menu buttons and home button take a slight amount of getting used to due to their differing placement. The controller is about 15-20% smaller than its counterpart making it a tad different feeling for people with middle to large sized hands, but the larger XYAB buttons make for easier tapping on the fly. The customization of the sticks is nice but limited and doesn’t offer a very noticeable difference when in the heat of the game. The Dolby atmos addition was a real incentive to this controller giving the user unfettered access to one of the greatest sound experiences on Xbox. It is simple to set up and amazing to behold.

This microphone offers exceptional quality for the speaking voice. However for a musician I found that the high pass didn’t do much in the way of stopping the upper registers from distorting just a tad. That being said the quality was still phenomenal with properly adjusted placement. The fact that this microphone is an XLR mic is supposed to tout a quality that surpasses usb mics on the same scale however I found it lacking just a little in the fullness of sound when doing lower range vocals. The still worked but felt kinda hollow When using instruments however with this mic it offers slightly better quality (with the exception being again some slight clipping in the higher registers) and would work well in a small room with guitar or bass. (Would not recommend drums) as long as the levels were kept at a moderate amount. Also to be noted for more novice users a pop filter and a foam mic cover are highly recommended to avoid distortion and excessive sibilance. Overall I do think that this mic is worth working with and look forward to many hours of recording with it and trying different things to compensate for the shortcomings I experienced. I would still recommend this microphone to other musicians.

Shure mics have a long standing history as solid choice in the recording biz and the MV7 is a perfect edition to that legacy. This mic allows for simple set up and easy use. But that’s just the beginning of it. The sound quality is superior to many mics in a similar price range and even some above. Offering rich tones and crisp clean highs this mic, which is touted as a podcast mic, can do so much more. The versatility of both XLR and USB (both A and C) allows for many different options when creating. The application is quick and easy to install and offers greater control when using the mic in USB mode without the need for extra EQ programs. I’m hard pressed to find any negatives with this mic and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a versatile plug and play mic for both beginners and pros alike!

These lights are an awesome addition to give any room character. I placed them in my office/studio and immediately they offered me a great way to customize my mood. The directions were pretty easy to follow for installation and set up only took downloading an app and a some quick pairing. The app offers a multitude of different settings for customization and an ability to create your own. It works with Amazon, Apple HomeKit, and google! I’ve added a few pics with captions as to the different styles. They also offer a touch function so that with a swipe of your hand you can change patterns or turn them on or off! I wanted to add video of how they worked but the upload limits wouldn’t allow it. But believe me it’s really kinda cool!
There were a few things that I was not pleased with however that were not dealbreakers, just kind of disappointing. One is the edges of the panels. One pic will show you the edges look like they are damaged. Like crinkled paper. In the same vein the panels themselves came out of the box scuffed a bit almost like they were previously used. Once they’re on however I’m hard pressed to notice these small things when faced with the larger aspect of them. However for the price I would have liked to see these things be a little more polished and look less damaged.
These things aside, I still don’t see any reason why one wouldn’t enjoy them to create a unique atmosphere wherever someone decided to put them.

This controller has great response time and smooth controls. The button mapping aspect is nice however at the time of this review the mapping app was not available. The controller itself is slightly larger than a normal Xbox controller making the mappable buttons underneath a little far for smaller hands. Also the volume controls favor the in game sound as opposed to voice chat which made it tough to communicate at times. I’m sure that as time goes on extra features, tweaks, and specialty swapped components (this controller’s real spot to shine) will make this controller a real contender. Time will tell if it holds up to rigorous play but for the time being it’s a great paddle to work with and while the buttons tend to be a bit spaced compared to stock controllers, it makes up for it in response time and versatility.

Does this Chromebook come with stable android apps ? Can you get to facebook, words with friendss etc.?
It does facilitate the google play store and runs very much like a tablet. The apps are mostly quick and responsive. Some of the higher work load ones tend to be just a hair laggy but for the most part it’s a nice efficient laptop.

One picture shows a stylus but text does not mention it. Does the stylus come standard with it, and, if so, does the stylus have its own stow away slot?
Why yes it does come with its own stylus! Which was a real treat (having purchased other computers that said they did and then didn’t) it’s non capacitive which means you don’t need a battery for it. (Another bonus)

The store itself is pre installed. In fact that is where most of the apps for this computer will come from, I just downloaded Minecraft. It’s awesome.

Can it handle editing software
I’m not sure what kind of editing software you are referencing but in my experience in music production and some graphic arts I found that overall celeron processors are not the work horse of the serious artist. This computer is mainly about portability and entertainment. It will run games and movies but if you are looking for something that will have the processing capabilities of a pro, I would recommend something with a Core i5 or better.
